We had a fantastic time at this hotel and were especially impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, helpful, and truly committed to making our stay as pleasant as possible. That personal touch made a real difference.
The rooms were lovely – decorated in soft, calming tones with tasteful furnishings that created a very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel itself is ideally located: close to Kos town, yet peaceful and beautifully maintained. The highlights for us were definitely the private beach, the charming pathways winding through the grounds, and the lush greenery with vibrant flowers throughout the property. The food was also a big plus – varied, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. 🩷
There were just a couple of points that didn’t quite match the overall quality. The spa staff were quite pushy in promoting their treatments, which felt out of place in such a refined and relaxing environment. Also, while the hotel rules clearly state that reserving sunbeds and hanging towels from balconies is not allowed, we noticed this happening regularly. We feel the hotel could take a stricter stance on enforcing these rules, in order to maintain its high-end feel. ☺️
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return! 🫶

This hotel was wonderful!! From the staff to the facilities, it was an amazing experience. The food was excellent all breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff was amazing, from the cleaner, waitresses, spa ladies, everyone. We will for sure be booking for next year. It is a resort you can relax and forget about time. Very clean both in rooms and common areas. Highly recommend!

Arrived at the Astir Odysseus following a disappointing stay at another 5 star hotel in Kos. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough.
The hotel grounds are beautiful, staff are very friendly, the food is some of the best food I've eaten (big shout out to the chefs), and most importantly there is so much to do for children!
Every night at 20:00 there's a disco for kids, followed by a show. (Lion King, Mama Mia). The kids also loved the Belly Dancing.
You also put put and a bowling for the kids.
Everything feels very engaging for the guests and you can tell they put a big emphasis on this.
We were in a room with a private pool which was stunning.
Nothing in the hotel is too far from each other which is a big plus when you have little kids!
Overall, highly recommend this hotel for families with kids!

The hotel was very well maintained and had everything one could need for a comfortable stay. The entire place felt clean, organized, and thoughtfully arranged.
A special highlight was the restaurant team – they were extremely friendly, kind, and attentive. From the very first moment, we felt completely at ease and truly welcomed.
A huge thank you also to Lola and Geri – their warmth, helpfulness, and genuine hospitality made a big difference. They always had a smile on their faces and were happy to assist with anything we needed. You could really feel that they love what they do.
All in all, we had a fantastic experience. Great service, a warm atmosphere, and wonderful people. We’ll definitely be back!

I stayed at the hotel in May and had an excellent experience. At first, I booked a room with direct access to a pool, which turned out to be a great choice because the ocean was still too cold for swimming. Being able to step straight into the pool was very convenient and made relaxing much easier.
The daily dinner buffet was delicious and had a good variety, but after the fifth night it started to feel a bit repetitive. For the last two nights, we changed to a room with a whirlpool. Looking back, it was not really necessary since the ocean and the pools were more than enough for us to enjoy.
One of the most memorable moments was watching the sunset from the beach, which is directly connected to the hotel. It was a peaceful and beautiful way to end the day. Overall, everything was well organized and truly enjoyable.
