The Gran is 17 stories high.Fantastic views over the bay and town. Be mindful that the hotel is not designed for sunbed holidays. It does however have a few sunbeds and a small indoor heated* pool. The food and service is excellent. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Receptionists are very helpful. 17th floor is a dedicated restaurant,open to the public. Excellent food ,not expensive. Service though is annoyingly slow....not an issue while on holiday. Would recommend if you want to use as a base to explore .Not a sunbathing holiday as such.

I was in this hotel for Christmas and New Year's Eve. I booked a room with a view of the city, I got a room with a window covered 80% by the roof of the pool, the rude gentleman at the reception said that the hotel always reads additional comments which I did not, but I would never have thought that such a room could even exist so I was forced to pay extra to get a normal room. The food is good, but for New Year's dinner there was not even water to drink I had to pay extra for it, when I ordered drinks at the bar without ice, because I had a sore throat the bartender started twisting his face in different directions, I went to my room to get the key to the car at that time the room was being cleaned I apologized for disturbing and the lady who was cleaning started mumbling something under her breath. My stay in this hotel was not pleasant. Luckily I rented a car so I explored a lot. I am glad that other guests can rate their stay five stars I would also like to but the hotel did nothing about it.

Currently staying at this hotel and having a wonderful experience. Initially I couldn't check in early and there was no movement on the 3pm check in which was unfortunate considering I was hot and sweating after a long trip but the hotel did look after my luggage.
The 2nd floor bar is brilliant, lovely vibe, incredible views and during my stay incredibly quiet allowing me to relax. Special mention to bartender Christian who gave amazing service and incredibly friendly and professional, really made my holiday! Could do with more space on the balcony with sunbeds but that can't be helped on a high rise hotel.
Amazing food! An incredible buffet and the staff are incredible. Special mention to Jessica who really went above and beyond. Could do with a bigger selection of drinks in the buffet area such as rums, gins etc.
Overall an incredible experience definitely recommend

We stayed before Xmas to get some winter sun, unfortunately it was cold and windy , not the fault of hotel . However , we had no sleep for two nights due to a local night club or from the hotel. I complained at 2.30 in the morning, but was ignored by hotel porter /manager , which was on our first night, happened again night before we left . Don’t expect such noise in our room from a 5 star hotel . Staff excellent ( apart from night porter ) , food and room very good . On the one day there was sun , not enough sun beds. Sauna facilities very good and location on coast excellent , but serious problem with night noise on some nights that hotel denies.

Amazing hotel with spectacular views. Staff here are lovely. Martina on Reception is amazing and really goes the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay.
