We spent 10 days last August at Arminda hotel. Overall we were very happy with the hotel. We are a family of 4 with our 4 year old son who is a wheelchair user and our 2 year old. We had a great room above the pool with spacious terrace. The hotel was accessible with lift to get to the pools and common areas. Our room was very clean with fresh towels everyday. We took all inclusive package, food was fine lots of nice Mediterranean choices and menu changes daily. There is a lovely coffee bar but iced coffees cost extra and you can get them from the adult only bar. There’s one cocktail available per day which was ok would be nicer to have a few options/ cocktail menu. There’s a lovely beach walk along the front of the neighbouring hotel. The on site play park and kids pools and kids clubs were fantastic. Location is situated between two areas Hersonosis and Stalis each about 20 minute walk so for us this wasn’t as accessible with wheelchair. We had to take prams or taxi. But for able walkers no issues. Entertainment takes place in the amphitheatre which is beautiful but not accessible for wheelchairs. We had to carry our son into this space. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall would recommend, we loved Crete and also hired a car for a few days to explore the island which was great. We organised this in Hersonosis and car was delivered to our hotel next morning.

My family and I, wife and children aged 9 and 11, had a wonderful 5 days at the Arminda. The food quality was good, tasty and plentiful. The service was polite, courteous and engaging as we were always checked on to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The rooms were cleaned daily, at a convenient time for us, the facilities were also exceptionally clean and the gym was great! There was live entertainment including an Abba show, magic show for kids, plays and karaoke for all. One of those events per night. Our kids loved the food variety, pool and entertainment provided. Lots of activities for kids which allowed for some adult time too.
Check-in and out staff were helpful with advice too.
We were there with friends and can't wait to return in the future.

What can I say.... probably one of the best 4* hotels in the region. The staff are attentive and cheerful, the buffets are top-quality, the activities are state-of-the-art (water park for children, modern fitness room for adults, 3 Padle courts, basketball court, table tennis,...), the pools are clean and pleasant, the rooms are perfect, the spa is available and the shows are top-notch.
I recommend this hotel to all families looking for a sporting vacation, relaxation and Cretan nutrition.
