We have just returned from a week holiday with my parents and 2 young children. The hotel is lovely and quiet, staff are there when you need them but don't bother you all day. There was plenty of sunbeds and no sunbead wars in the morning.
There was a couple of issues we had, the main one being the beds were so hard/firm. I struggled to sleep, the bed in the parents room was the same. The other issue we had was with the entertainment, we stayed at Arena Beach last year and my little girl absolutely loved the mini disco, she was really looking forward to it this year, and although it was advertised on the entertainment schedule, it never happened during our weeks stay. Also, the main bar is being refurbished, which meant that the entertainment was being held outside at the pool bar, it was quite chilly on a evening which made it quite uncomfortable, but it also made it loud and there wasn't the option to go to bed while it was still on if you wanted too. With 2 young children this made things difficult. When the kids did fall asleep, there was often people shouting/screaming etc at the pool bar past midnight on more the one occasion.
There was also another guest that decided to shout at me and my children as they had left their inflatable out in the wind, it had deflated and she was looking for someone to blame, this involved shouting and swearing. Staff heard this interaction, but didn't intervene. This made me feel quite uncomfortable, luckily it was on our last afternoon so we just moved to a different part of the pool and stayed away from them.
Overall we had a lovely holiday, I wouldn't return to Arena Suite, but would definitely visit Arena Beach.

We have just spent a loverly week at the Hotel Arena Suites.
The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated and had a massive bed although it was position behind the bungalows so the view was not great however it was peaceful and got the sun on the balcony most of the day.
There was plenty of choice in the buffet style restaurant, although the food wasn't that warm. It is a good walk away from the main street 20 to 25 minutes but the reception can organise a taxi.
All the staff are friendly professional and well turned out
I would recommend this hotel for a holiday

Stayed 10 nights all inclusive in a pool view room.
The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean.
The staff at the reception and in the restaurant and pool bar were all helpful and efficient. The animation team did their best to get people to join in games.
We thought the buffet was good for all inclusive with the selection of hot and cold dishes available.
Beer and wine, hot and cold drinks were self serve which saved queuing at the pool bar.
Never had any problems getting a sun lounger at the pool and the beach is only a few minutes walk.
Small shopping centre with bars and restaurants a 10 minute walk or 20ish minutes to the town.
General atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely pleasant short stay. Friendly welcoming staff. Room was clean and quite spacious. Comfy bed. Pools where nice clean well maintained. Entertainment was fairly basic could do with a modern update. Decoration/design looks like something from the 80's. Food and drink was nice with a wide variety to choose from. A different theme each night for dinner. Pool bar was nice for drinks and snacks. Overall I'll give it an 8 out of 10

Fantastic Hotel, stayed for a week in February, spotless, food very good with themed nights, no problem with the drinks on offer and snacks in the afternoon all freshly prepared. The only downside I can think of is that the sun loungers are very close together, not an issue when we were there but in high season it would definitely feel crowded. Other than that we couldn't fault this hotel. Grant, Paisley.
