We had a great stay at Fontanellas Playa! We arrived early in the morning and were warmly welcomed by Marco at reception—he was incredibly sweet and helpful, which set a great tone for the rest of our trip. All the staff we encountered were friendly and professional, making us feel very comfortable throughout our stay.
One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast buffet. For just €13.50, it offered a wide variety of options—fresh, tasty, and definitely worth the price.
Overall, a lovely experience and great value for the money. Would happily return!

A fantastic family hotel in a great location. It is located right on the promenade, with a view of the sea and the pool.
The staff working in this hotel is very friendly, communicative and professional.
The rooms are large and have large terraces. In the room there is a mini kitchen, a dining room and everything you need to prepare a snack. The bathroom is modernly equipped and I especially like the large wardrobes and shelves. We were accommodated in room 201, on the second floor, sea view.
Breakfast and lunch are phenomenal, on a buffet basis. A large selection of food, for everyone's taste.
The kids enjoyed it just like my husband and I. We will come to this hotel again.

Very Bad Experience. Not Worth the Money
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and paid almost 500 euros per night. We are very disappointed.
The room was not good for 3 people. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, and the living room was full of ants and insects. The third person could not sleep at all. When we asked for help, the receptionist said we had to wait for the manager the next day. That night was terrible and we had to sleep with ants in the bed.
The next day, the manager was not kind or helpful. She laughed at us and didn’t say sorry. She only gave us a new room, same size, without insects. That’s all. Very bad attitude.
Also, the hotel is full of kids. The pool is very crowded, especially after 8 am. Kids are yelling all day, even early in the morning in the hallways. It’s not possible to relax or sleep. When we told reception, they just said, “They are kids, what can we do?”
The website says there is a spa area, but when we arrived, we found out it’s not free.
We felt very angry and tired. The service is not respectful, and the manager didn’t care at all. For this price, it was unacceptable. If I could, I would give zero stars. One star is already too much.

My family & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fontanellas Playa. We Initially booked a 5 night stay & decided to extend our stay for an additional night. They were kind enough to accommodate us in the same room, which made everything seamless. We stayed in the Apartment with sea view & it was perfect for my wife & I & our 2 sons.
The staff at the front desk were all very helpful & were all so friendly. We booked our stay with the breakfast buffet, which was a great value & had a great selection. My sons loved the outdoor pool & how close we were to the beach.
The only downside I would have to say is that the bar service can be a little slow when it’s pretty busy, but the great views and food made up for it!
For my family’s first international trip, our stay at Fontanellas Playa helped make our trip that much more memorable. We will for sure be choosing Fontanellas Playa again the next time we visit Mallorca!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, we arrived late evening and had everything ready for us as expected . The hotel is located in excellent location with beautiful sea view. I really appreciate the reception staff and cleaning staff . Very helpful and efficient . Excellent breakfast and bar. We had booked junior suites, room was spacious and crib was ready as per request for our toddler. There are however few things that can be improved: 1. When you book a junior suite with queen bed you expect a double bed but this is two single bed.. that’s fine as long as it stays close but these beds keep moving apart. This is not good for a couple/family. Otherwise it’s a really comfy bed with sufficient pillows 2. The entertainment can be better.. especially kids part during daytime , it looked quite boring and one person (man) mostly uninterested. Ofcourse our child was a toddler so we stayed throughout but it’s just a room with some old toys and color pen and a tv with Disney movies 3. Breakfast feels a bit rushed , with staff trying to clear your plates even before you are done. Overall as a family that travels quite a lot over the years , there is lack of personal touch that can be improved with a bit more attention . We will definitely be back in our next visit .
