I arrived at the hotel and seen how dated it was so checked reviews. I was concerned to see so many bad reviews but wasnt surprised. I thought the staff were very nice and helpful. The room seemed clean and I seen the girls cleaning around the hotel everyday. I was there for 12 nights and I saw four or five cockroaches. The hotel was cheap so perhaps you get what you pay for. I dont think I would go back though. I ended up with an uneventful stay with some concerns. I could see how things could get worse quickly though. Perhaps a bit pest control and renovation required.

This was possibly one of the worst stay I ever had in any hotel or hostel. Our room was old and poorly maintained, which did not make us flinch too much, as the price is quite low. But then a few hours after our arrival we found everything covered in cockroaches, the floor, the wardrobe, the kitchen sink, some of our luggage too. The staff was very helpful and changed our room immediately, but we were not so keen on staying in the building any longer after that. After reading other reviews it is quite clear that the management does not take proper actions against infestations or even basic maintenance, so we decided to relocate to a different hotel, which turned out to be much nicer and only slightly more expensive.

Great hotel. Very clean due to a small army of cleaning staff who work around the clock. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I would think it was a 4 star hotel, not 3. Great views of the mountain / sea/ downtown/ depending on which side of the hotel your room is located. Everything you might need is on your doorstep. I'll definitely be back in the future.

I stayed there for 2 weeks and had the so called "low cost" room.
It was ok for the price.
The location is perfect; 10-15min walking from the city center, 2min walking from the bus stop.
If you're lucky, you have a room with a view on Mount Teide.

Got a disabled suit on the ground floor. A bit of unfinished renewal, had to buy a headlamp for cooking. The cleaning service is very kind, some receptionist as well
.
Now the room is fine (except the wobbling toilet), now the guests were terrible for our first night: secondary school year-end excursion, at 4 a.m. they were still shouting and playing soccer in the hallway
.
End of September seems to be the best time: no crowds, no drunken guests, even some free parking places! Amazing!
