We wanted a cheap getaway so wasn't expecting much. To be fair it was better than expected. It's an older hotel. Rooms revamped some. Probably as much as possible. Foyer was nice and modern. Pool and sun loungers too small for size of hotel. Usual suspects waiting half hour before loungers come out to get their usual spot 🤣Rooftop solarium was quiet. Cleaners were always on the go so place was tidy.Spoilt for choice of bar's and restaurants in area.Nothing for kids though. No kids clubs, shows not even a rep. Not even poolside music.Ours are grown up so not a problem. Also quiet at night.Id go back if the price is right. Only free WiFi near pool bar. Otherwise 20 euro per device per week. Those expecting luxury look elsewhere.

Great value for stay!
Very tasty food even if the variety is not huge, staff were very nice and friendly, ready to help with anything. Special thanks to Roberto from the bar for how well he looked after us!
Would 100% come back in the future, and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking to get great value for a low price, especially if you are not fussy!

I was a Self catering Room and was tucked on the ground floor but technically underground as the hotel is cut into the hill.
The kitchenette was clean and a welcome pack of dish soap. Scouring pad and cloth was there. But the cutlery was underneath the TV. Strange
Bathroom door didn't open fully. No air conditioning just ceiling fans something to be aware of in the summer but as this apparent is in the shade 90% of the day might be a bonus.

My wife & I have just had a week at the Aguamar, it's a typical 3 star hotel as a matter of fact we'd say it's better than the average 3 star hotel. We can only base this review on the room & reception because we didn't use the restaurant or the pool. We were on the second floor room 207 which was more than adequate, Lounge/kitchen, bathroom, separate bedroom with twin beds & balcony overlooking the pool. The kitchen is equipped with all the usual equipment, 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster & fridge. There are 2 lifts to all floors or if you're young & fit use the stairs. The safety deposit boxes are located in a secure room behind reception and can be hired for a charge, may I just add our cash in a plastic wallet was theft proof because my wife placed elastic bands around the wallet 😉 😀 😜. Before I forget the rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, towels & sheets are also changed quite often. The whole hotel is kept very clean. Apparently there's a problem with people scrambling for sunbeds in the morning...do yourself a favour visit other hotel's where there's plenty of room to sunbathe or just go to the beach ⛱️. The staff are are very friendly and helpful. It was my wife's birthday while we were there and she had a few birthday cards in the room, the cleaner must have informed reception because on the evening a bottle of sparkling wine in an ice bucket & 2 glasses were delivered to our room with a compliment from the hotel card 😀 which we thought was a very nice surprise. The hotel is in a great location for all amenities. When staying in Los Cristianos again we will definitely be staying at the Aguamar.

I’ve made several attempts to reach out to this hotel both via email and in person over the past month, seeking a potential business collaboration. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, I’ve received no response. This lack of communication has made me feel ignored and unimportant. As a local service provider, I believe that timely responses and professionalism are key to building any successful partnership. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of engagement, and I hope the hotel will work on improving communication with potential collaborators in the future
