So just back from a 1 week All Inclusive stay at this lovely hotel. Me and my partner and one of our friends stayed we had double conjoined rooms which was very convenient. But I cannot recommend booking a stay here enough. It is absolutely beautiful and we’re already talking about returning next year with more friends. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the pool area is great along with the pool itself, all restaurants on site are gorgeous with great views and high standards, the rooftop bar is stunning for views of Tavira. As for food itself we mainly went to the buffet as we liked the variety they had to offer but the little picky bits station by the pool during the day was great for inbetween meal times. We were in the building by the buffet restaurant for our rooms, the rooms were always kept immaculate by staff, the balcony provided a great view and room itself had great amenities. The only critique I have is that the bathroom doesn’t have doors it is cloudy glass panels and the area for the toilet is open at the top so as you can imagine it doesn’t offer much privacy. Some people may not have an issue with this but me and my partner would prefer a bit more privacy when it comes to this so it is sadly the one downside to our stay. The staff are also amazing cannot fault the service at all. For getting into town uber is insanely cheap, but there are shops a within walking distance. We highly recommend booking the Jeep Tour of Tavira with Luis a great guy. And to finish off when we checked out we were given lovely bottles of wine which I thought was a lovely touch. All in all I highly recommend staying here you will have an amazing time, a wonderful hotel situated in an absolutely stunning area.

Beautiful hotel with tonnes of potential to be an amazing holiday. Unfortunately let down by the attitude of the staff. I went as a solo traveller, on arrival I was not allocated a room and unable to purchase a drink for 3 hours whilst I waited for my room to be ready. In line with their policy. First day of my holiday ruined! The staff were unapologetic about the inconvenience. I was put in a room beside a loud group of boys. As a solo travellers as I was forced to pay card or got reception to pay cash for every purchase . Apparently because i wasn't an all inclusive guest. Clearly not convenient when your trying to relax by the pool. The staff seemed to enjoy making my holiday difficult. Seriously don't go there if your a solo traveller.

We are leaving today after 5days. Came for my son's 21st for golf. Hotel is very clean, relaxed atmosphere and great location for many golf courses. Good variety at each meal. Staff are really helpfull and friendly. Only minus would be no non dairy alternatives for dessert. But that is only a small negative

All staff so courteous and polite, could not do enough for the guests.location fantastic, early morning birdsong wakes you.Food was so fresh and plentiful. Free boat ride to local beaches to explore.Only €7 taxi to nearest town Tavira.Local area about 10 minute walk and your on the boardwalk with multiple bars, restaurants and grocery stores. We ate at 4 restaurants and visited 5 bars, prices are acceptable and food good especially the seafood.Roof bar and pool are great with a fantastic view of the area.We had a couple of swims in the beautiful pool and our room gave us a great view of the pool and river.I decided to treat my wife to an in-house massage which she said was incredible. We have never holidayed in the same place twice but would love to visit Cabanas Nature again next year.Wonderful time had by all

Hotel looked nice on the surface, but when we arrived there was a strong smell of sewage, it had been raining heavily when we arrived so I assume it had something to do with that, but when we mentioned it we were told there was no smell of sewage. The sunbeds on the roof top were very dirty and didn't look like they'd been cleaned for while (if ever). There were lots of tiles loose around the pool aswell which was quite dangerous. Again mentioned to the hotel, they said there was only 1 that was loose and it was fixed which again wasn't true. (I have a video but unable to upload for some reason). If you want to use the indoor pool you will have to wear a swim cap, take one with you or you will be charged €5 for the privilege. I wouldn't mind if the indoor pool was actually clean, but it was not.
If you like privacy when you are in the bathroom this is not the hotel for you, as there is a giant glass panel to the bathroom with the curtain on the outside in the bedrooms which is very odd.
They also cut off our wristbands on check out and we were told we would have to purchase any food or drinks after check out, which I have never had at an all inclusive, so be prepared for that on your last day if you have a later flight. This is not ideal given the hotels location. They also have a weird system of having to scan your room key every time you have food or drink, even though they make you wear a wristbands. Should be one or the other, this causes bottlenecks at meal times as people have to queue up to scan their room key to enter.
I did try and sort these issues out privately but the hotel essentially called us liars and dismissed everything hence the review.
Given a second star as the food was actually quite nice and the drinks were decent and as mentioned earlier, hotel looks nice on the surface. But the staff and odd policies knock it down.
Definitely wouldn't recommend.
