Three stays in, and Anemos in Crete still manages to exceed my expectations every single time.
The rooms are immaculate and luxurious, the kind that makes you forget you ever need to go home.
Food is a highlight in its own right. With five different cuisine restaurants on-site, you’re never eating the same meal twice, and every one of them delivers exceptional quality. The beach is stunning, with a long stretch of coastline that never feels overcrowded. Evenings come alive with entertaining programmes that are lively and engaging. For families, the kids’ area with water slides keeps little ones thoroughly occupied, while adults can recharge with yoga, Pilates, water aerobics, beach volleyball, or tennis. There's something for everyone.
Above all, it’s the service that earns Anemos its loyalty. The team is warm, professional, and consistent. It’s rare to find a place where the staff make you feel like a returning friend rather than just another guest.

Amazing place! The room was spacious, with a nice shower and a pleasant balcony. Everything was cleaned daily and maintained very well. Although our room was not right next to the main entrance or restaurants, it was still easy to access, and there were always golf carts available to transport guests around the resort.
We would especially like to highlight the staff — they were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We arrived at 1:30 a.m., and they greeted us with a fresh drink and even kept the buffet open so we could have something to eat, which was a lovely touch.
The swimming pool area was very pleasant as well. The only small improvement we could suggest is that the indoor pool could be a bit warmer.
The location is excellent, with the beach only a two-minute walk away. Georgioupolis is a charming small village with a beautiful beach, local shops and services, and great restaurants. We especially loved Poseidon — highly recommended for fish lovers!

Super clean rooms, friendly staff, nice with kids, big sandy beach with super clean and shallow water, the food at night is on a very high level.
Only one small point...in the buffet area the cooling units of the chilled buffet should be placed outside to reduce the heat and noise in the room.

Not giving it 5 stars only because of cleaning which was 3 out of 5 (I was regularly wiping hair and dust off floors and furniture myself as cleaners didn't care, they didn't even have vacuum cleaners) and bed linen/towels were sometimes greyish. Also dated bathrooms in the rooms which need renovation. Otherwise, a very good hotel with nice grounds, enjoyable yoga/pilates classes, good beach and really delicious food!
