Great holiday!
We were a little worried after reading the reviews. But we have stayed in many hotels and can happily look past somethings which you wouldn't expect from a 5*.
The 3.7* rating is pretty honest. The bathrooms are a little dated, but what the hell, your only in it to shower and use the facilities. Fresh towels each day and bathroom stocked well.
Not much room in our room due to us having a put me up for our 6 year old and a travel cot for our 1 year old. But that's ok as we didn't hang out much in our room.
The food was great. We always found something for ourselves. Children did only have small options (but our eldest loves a good roast and veg, Mac and cheese, spag bol, plain meats) she lived off pasta, veg and a small selection of meats that we managed to get her to try. Our 1 year old was a little more tricky to feed. We did go out and buy baby food from the shop which was super expensive. So I would take some with you or take a small blender, as she definitely would have loved a lot of the hot food. As for our selection of food it was brilliant! Loads of lovely bright vibrant foods to choose from. Different themes each night, loved Mexican night!
The staff were polite and smiley. We notice through our stay that people whom wore a certain coloured wrist band were very abrupt and thought the rules did not apply to them. They jumped queues and sat themselves down at tables which weren't cleared which then diverted the staff to clear them. Leaving the rest of the people waiting patiently. The way they spoke to the staff was in a demanding manner, no please or thank yous. But the staff still continued to do their best to please.
The swimming pools were cleaned every morning whilst we were there, as I watched them from our balcony.
Don't rush for a sunbed! It was lovely to come down as our own leisure and find a good spot around the pool (might of helped that we had a baby that likes to wake early). We were always down to the pool for 8:30-9ish, able to get a good spot for easy access for our little ones. With most other guest turning up as late as 10am and able to still find a good spot.
Lifeguard present at all times. But we kept an eye on our own kids.
Drinks were brilliant! Nice cocktails. Definitely feel like you've had a drink, not like some places we have been to before.
A lovely 20 minute walk along the promenade to the nearby restaurant and bars.
All in all a very lovely experience we had and managed to unwind.

Believe all the bad reviews every single one. Staff couldn't care and ignore will ignore you if you're female. The rooms well they swept the floor and made the bed with the same bedding for our duration, how do I know? I'm going to say the ink stains on the covers never changed places...
Food I'm glad there was two amazing places for food after seeing the chef blow his nose into his hand and rub whatever came out on his trousers. Want to know the ingredients nope, don't be silly you have to guess luckily we noticed before my partner ate the pomegranate which he's severely allergic too in the jelly.
Life guards couldn't be arsed to look up from their phones when my nephew fell in the pool. If you go with kids watch them like a hawk.
This is not a relaxing holiday this was prison with more outside time.
All inclusive yeah with the food that causes diarrhea the best thing is you will lose weight for the next holiday you will need!!
Don't even bother complaining to them or to higher ups you will be ignored, I have an album of everything that is wrong with the place. Also don't go in the pool the day of rain we had well the drains backed up and went into the pool, the cleaning up after the rain inside the restaurant and lobby guess where they got the water? Yup the sewer pool.
Go somewhere else don't waste your money. Don't risk lives. Ignore the positive reviews they are the staff that work there all sent the same message to use.
So to reiterate very bad, very unfriendly, very much don't give a heck. But shoutout to the blue spice and tipsy turtle for feeding us and letting us use the facilities at their premises (across the road from hell)
Check out the trip advisor review for photos and the reply. God forbid another family member leaves a review as well 😂

We went here for an 8-day stay in August and when we saw the reviews before going we got nervous if it was the right choice but I'm glad we didn't change it. Yes,the hotel needs renovation and probably more cleaning but everything apart from that was very good. Most of the stuff were very helpful and kind, never experienced such kind staff before. The pools and slides were also very good, nothing wrong there. The food deserves 5 stars on its own it was brilliant and tasted very good. Absolutely loved our stay!

I stayed at Anastasia Beach Hotel with my family and a 1.5-year-old child from September 25, 2024, to September 28, 2024, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Our room (reservation 460591379) had cockroaches, and to make matters worse, the staff refused to resolve the issue, suggesting the use of chemicals in the room where a small child was staying. This is simply unacceptable!
Furthermore, when I requested a refund, it was denied.
The hotel itself is in desperate need of renovation – the furniture and interior are visibly worn out. The elevators are very slow, and we had to wait a long time each time. The food is mediocre – the selection is limited, and the quality is not impressive. The water park, which could have been a highlight, turned out to be paid, which was a huge disappointment.
The hotel is poorly located in relation to the beaches, making it difficult to reach them. Every night, there was noise from garbage trucks unloading right outside the windows, which made it hard to rest. The soundproofing in the rooms is very weak, so you can clearly hear everything happening outside or in neighboring rooms.
Given all these factors, I do not recommend Anastasia Beach Hotel, especially for family vacations with children.
