Quality and diversity of buffets food was exceptional 5 stars. Maybe one of the best buffets I had, definitely the best paella I had in a hotel. My son enjoyed the kids sessions and the entertainment was good quality. The hotel is located 5 mins from the beach, therefore a walking distance and very close to shops. Room cleanliness was OK. The hotel has 3 pools including the kids slides which keeps the entertained. They also offer outdoor food service during the day which is ideal for children. Outdoor maintenance could be improved especially cleanliness, more attention to details would be recommended. It is indeed a very good family hotel and the atmosphere is very chilled we will come back in future.

Changed ownership just before the holidays and is now called Ilunion Palmanova Mallorca.
Payment was an issue due to system changes and refunds being sent back to our account. We were overcharged at checkout, and you have to pay to rent the safety deposit box – not just leave a deposit like at most other hotels in the area.
The hotel is worn down in every possible way.
Broken tiles, faulty elevators, torn carpets, etc.
The "restaurant" = dining hall from East Germany (clinical/cold with echoing acoustics and broken tiles everywhere), and the food quality was very inconsistent. It wasn’t even possible to eat outside, despite there being a terrace.
Staff at the pool, cleaning, restaurant, and bar were excellent.
The entertainment lounge also felt like a hall in East Germany, which was a shame, because the evening entertainment was actually fantastic.
Poolside entertainment felt very low-budget, even though the staff handling it were sweet – everything was worn out or didn’t work properly.
I simply do not understand how this hotel has four stars – I’ve never stayed at a 4-star hotel of such poor quality. It should be rated a maximum of 2 stars.

Absolutely loved our stay! The pools were perfect for kids—safe, fun, and clean. The whole hotel was perfectly clean too, which we really appreciated. The food was great with something for everyone—some classics always available, plus cool themed nights like Spanish and seafood. Staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Would definitely come back!

What a brilliant hotel. Completely exceeded my expectations. The entertainment team (Sally, Andreas and Anton) were absolutely incredible. All the activities were suitable for children and adults, they were always involved and positive. Completely made our stay.
The rooms were extremely clean, cleaners were all very friendly couldn’t fault them at all.
If you’re coming to stay as an all inclusive guest and like to drink, it’s worth reading up! We were very fortune that we read reviews and knew what to expect. Due to the new laws, you are allowed 3 drinks at lunch, 3 at dinner ( wine or beer ). Otherwise, all drinks need to be paid for. As an all inclusive guest, drinks are discounted by about €1-€2 euros. However this did not change our stay at all. The bar staff all dealt with it brilliantly. They were always up for a joke and a positive evening.

I recently stayed at AluaSun and it truly exceeded my expectations. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with a balcony that allowed us to fully relax. It was also in a prime location allowing us easy access to the beach.
One of the standout features of our stay was the entertainment team, they were incredibly talented and engaging - they can definitely host a good quiz.
I found that the German entertainer in particular added a lively atmosphere to the hotel, making our evenings enjoyable and memorable. He made an effort to come round and talk to us and other guests whenever he was available.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!
