recently stayed at AluaSun Marbella Park and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The accommodation feels dated and could definitely use some updating. The pool area is often overcrowded, making it hard to relax.
One major downside is their drink token policy — each person is only given one token, and you cannot get a drink without it. If you forget your token, you’re simply out of luck, which is quite frustrating.
The location is fairly isolated, although Nikki Beach nearby is a nice spot to visit.
Another letdown was the room itself — there was no tea, coffee, or kettle provided, which felt quite basic. We arrived late and, despite our delayed flight, were not even given a complimentary bottle of water in the room; instead, they asked us to pay for it.
The restaurant was crowded and chaotic, almost like a cattle market, which made dining an unpleasant experience. The food was very standard and rather boring.
Overall, the hotel felt more like a 2-star than what you’d expect in this region. I would not choose to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel!
We went for all inclusive package and travelled with a toddler. The food was basic but had the necessities. The fresh omelette and pancakes for breakfast were great and lunch/dinner had varied dishes each night. Decent kids selection too.
We initially felt our room was too small (1016) but when I flagged this with the hotel they understood our view, especially with having a little one, and kindly upgraded the room for us (306).
The hotel is in a good location but would advise a car unless you plan to stay in the hotel for the whole time. There is however a good supermarket and a couple of restaurants around the corner from the hotel (3minute walk) If you want to venture out!
Fuengirola is about a 15 min drive away and Marbella is a 10 min drive away! The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the beach every 30 mins or so.
Parking at the hotel is extra - about €100 for the week.
Toddler loved the children's pool and there was a couple of slides which he absolutely loved. Hotel is child friendly and very accommodating for young children too.
Staff were very friendly and evening entertainment was good - something different was planned every night.
Rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. House keeping were very friendly and so was the team on reception!
Thank you ❤️

We had a lovely welcome. The hotel was perfect. We loved the Adults only pool. The pool with slides is also fabulous. The food was plentiful and a great choice there are also Themed nights.when we arrived we were overlooking trees. But on the 3rd Day we was upgraded to the main building room no 608 overlooking the pool and sea. Excellent view. The room was lovely. Maids work really well hard.didn't see much of the evening entertainment as travelled as a couple and went out exploring.

The only good thing about this hotel during our stay was the view from the balcony!
My bed had a relatively good mattress, but my husband's was arched (
And then the most deplorable thing!
The staff in the restaurant and at the reception do not respond to guests, during our stay they greeted us at the reception once, in the restaurant they wished us a good evening probably twice! The employees behave like robots, without a smile, without elementary moments in communication, but they try to sell orange juice for 1 euro for breakfast, and wine and Coca-Cola in the evening, blocking at the same time the vending machines where you can get drinks, which are already included in the price of dinner!
And that's not the worst! The food, it's without comments, without taste, without seasoning and salt, breakfast in the 2nd week of stay was not possible to eat at all, dried cheese and sausage, unwashed apples, hard and dry rolls!
And when we once asked for a small portion of soup for our little one for lunch son, we were told the price of 20 euros for lunch, and you can't take this soup with you, only in the restaurant!
During our 2 weeks of stay, our bed sheets were never changed, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, and in general the bathroom is full of mold and quite old and needs repair!
Parking is an additional fee, the gym is 20 euros per visit, a safe in the room is an additional fee, and the positioning of the hotel as 4 stars and its relationship to the chain does not justify itself in any way! And only guests from France are welcome here!
The hotel management needs to seriously think about this style of management!

Great hotel, bed are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in on holiday. Pools aren't really big enough for the size so I think bit could get very busy in the high season. The walk to the nearest bars and restaurants are a bit dodgy as you walk next to duel carriage way. But worth it. The all inclusive is good but the staff need to know what's included, as one day we had pizza and it was included the next day, different cheff, made you pay, same with slushy drinks.
