We had a wonderful stay at AluaSoul Mallorca Resort. It is beautifully located at Cala Egos. Waking up to that view every day felt truly magical. There are many free parking options at the vicinty of the hotel. We enjoyed the My Favorite Club option. It's worth the upgrade. The breakfast is delicious. There's a seperate bar, lounge and pool area. It's all much better quality and less crowded. The service was impeccable. We would like to give a special thanks to the following people who made our stay so much more enjoyable. Layla from housekeeping. Moi, Dario and Mahmud from The Fancy Bar. And Felix, Lorena, Elias, Elwira, Rossuan and Sokhna from the various restaurants (but especially Marea). The service definitely makes this hotel so great!
Some minor cons were that the tapwater and the shower water were salty. Luckily we always got a big bottle of water in our room. It sometimes took a while before we got our drinks at the Terra main restaurant. There are simply a lot more people. So the a-la-carte restaurants are a great alternative. There a quite a few stairs seperating the two buildings. This was no problem for us, but might be more difficult for people with mobility issues.
Overall we highly recommend this hotel! We will definitely consider coming back in the future.

The hotel itself is really beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay – but we especially have to highlight the amazing team at the Kentia Bar! The atmosphere there every evening was simply fantastic. The bartenders are incredibly friendly, always in a great mood, attentive, and they make excellent drinks. You can immediately tell that they love what they do and genuinely want their guests to have a great time.
A very special thank you to Alfonso, Laura, Luis, and Mahmod– you truly made our vacation unforgettable! It’s rare to experience service that is so warm, professional, and fun at the same time. Because of you, we would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Our second visit and we've loved every second of it.
Staff are so friendly and genuinely helpful (especially Camilla and Moi and Mahmud).
In terms of the rooms, they are lovely with excellent views over the cala from your balcony. There's room keeping each day, and staff hoover the halls often to keep them clean of sand. There's cosy dressing gowns in the room, and in the MFC upgrade, you get water, soft drinks, beer, and wine provided in the room.
The shower and tap water is salty but I personally found it to be fine for my hair and skin, and not bad for teeth brushing. There's shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and hand cream provided. Each has a hair dryer and you can request an iron. Decent number of hangers and storage space. There's a radio speaker, TV, safe, mini fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and teabags and coffee pods provided. USB chargers and plug sockets by the bed. Lighting in the bathroom isn't perfect for makeup but it'll do.
The buffet food is good and varied, and we found there's always something we liked. You can also book the on site restaurants, and while some of the food is the same as the buffet, it was nice to have a full Italian meal, the grill restaurant did excellent meat, and the tasting menu restaurant was fun.
We had the AI upgrade and there's a great range of alcohol, and the cocktails are great. We also used the Kentia pool bar and the bar snacks and particularly liked the chicken wings.
The MFC upgrade was well worth it. It's great to have your own pool and bar area, and the staff are great fun there. It's nice to always have access to soft drinks and snacks too. It was lovely to have a fancy breakfast area too, with a menu of nice breakfasts to choose from plus the usual buffet.
The beach is gorgeous and clean, and it felt very safe to swim in. This year the fruit man comes to the beach, and there's some deck chairs to rent if you want. Each evening I saw someone raking and cleaning the beach.
The evening entertainment was fun, with some good bands and singers. We didn't take part in the day time activities, but the yoga and aquarobics looked fun. There's a gym on site which we used and was decently equipped for weights and calisthenics. We didn't use the spa this time, but last time I remember it was small but enjoyable.
The hotel is about a 45 mins walk into Cala d'Or via the marina. It's an easy walk and lovely to go past the restaurants and Mercadona at the marina. If you don't want to walk, there's the ting ting tourist train or the bus stop just outside.
Added bonus, there's some very cute hotel cats too.
We can't wait to return.
The only negative is that you get those sort of people that put their towels out before 7am. It would be good if staff moved towels if people abandon them for hours.

We’ve just returned from our second visit to AluaSoul, the first being 7 years ago.
There have been some significant positive changes to the hotel, the main one being more a la carte restaurant offerings and an app to book these and other hotel facilities. We booked two standard rooms for 4 adults, one had a special request for an anniversary but we didn’t see any reference to this at the hotel.
One of the two rooms also happened to be a disabled room which wouldn’t have been an issue, if we hadn’t also had the standard room to compare it too. No one in our party was disabled so we didn’t need the facilities, the disabled room also had a wet room with no worktop space for suncream, makeup etc. We spoke to reception and asked if the 2nd room could be changed to match the other standard room, they were lovely and found us another standard room to move to. A slight hiccup but sorted by the lovely staff.
Very friendly staff across the buffet and a la carte restaurants, especially Ross whose recommendation of Chimichurri was a hit!
We sometimes had to search for a table for 4 at the buffet as most dining was set for couples, but we just pushed two tables together when there weren’t any tables for 4 free - it wasn’t a problem.
You can’t get better with the location, the beach is on your doorstep. A fabulous location for snorkelling and paddle boarding!!
Very friendly resort cats, they made everyone smile!
Entertainment by the bar every night, limited seating when busy, some people sat on sun loungers. Lots of dancing and a lovely atmosphere.
Overall a lovely stay, we will be back!
Thank you AluaSoul team ☀️

Wonderful hotel in a stunning location at the most beautiful bay on the island.
The food is incredibly delicious and truly unforgettable. The staff is always extremely courteous, friendly. We especially enjoyed our evening at the Marea restaurant, which is part of the hotel, the experience was excellent, and the staff was genuinely kind, fast, and very attentive.
Only the rooms, especialy the bathrooms, are in need of refurbishment and the area is loud at night.
All in all we had a wonderful vacation here and can highly recommend this hotel.
