A unique and large resort comprised of multiple Apartment size hotels as well as a condo village (4 blocks) right next to the ocean. This resort has multiple pools (inside and out), exercise room, tennis courts, soccer fields, restaurants, Mercado, and multiple child activities (pool slides, low ropes course, kid activities centre). The village has easy access (2 sets of stairs) to a fabulous beach and spectacular cliff hiking.

Was there with family, lots for kid's to do with numerous pools indoorsand
indoors and out. Not overly priced in bars and close to the beach.

not the value you get for what you have paid. we arrived at the evening of Xmas eve & at least thought they have complimentary tea at the room. but hey, receptionist told us We need to buy tea bags 😂😂 & guess what, nothing is working, so we had to drink tap water & starve 😂
service is awful, so think about it 100 times while considering to come 😁
other than the location & beautiful beach, there is nothing here.
rooms are so old, worst i have ever experienced. the only good thing about the rooms, they have all the cutlery needed to cook.

Just came back from a 3-week stay at Alfagar Village. Spacious living room, paid for a partial ocean view and got that, 5 stars for cleaning crew and employees who work very hard at keeping the village grounds beautiful. However, I give only one star for the following:
1. Very moldy ensuite bathroom - they did just limited caulking to fix the worse areas of mold. We were offered different place (mold free), but I was a member of a group trip and my roommate (we met on this trip) refused to change an apartment because she didn't like the view. Second place was also nice and mold free but we learned from next door occupants that they were dealing with bugs, so I declined as I didn't want to take a chance. My roommate moved out to a third place and I stayed using the second bathroom mold free which was hers.
2. Heating units in the living room and two bedrooms were not blowing much heat and the thermostats on the wall didn't have any markings so it took time to figure out how to get heat. What's more concerning was the fact those heating units mounted to the wall near ceiling were releasing small black particles that looked like ash when you rubbed it between fingers.
3. On my last day (Feb. 9) rain water was dripping from the kitchen ceiling right were the light fixture was. Our group host said he informed the reception but no one came to inspect it.
I have been to different apartments and seen their mold free, nicely renovated bathrooms and actually digital thermostats.
