Everything fabulous. Room is great with view straight out on to our large private sharing pool (maximum 8 rooms sharing) and the sea just beyond. Food is buffet style in the main restaurant and is excellent. There are themed nights eg Greek, Asian, Italian and there is always a fantastic varied selection of starters, mains and desserts. There are also lots of other bars and restaurants on site plus room service if required and a mini market, jewellers and hairdress too. Staff are very friendly and helpful particularly Stella and Odyssea who deserve a special mention for the exceptional service they provided for us. Nearby outside the main gate are a bar/restaurant and a large supermarket. Hersonnissos is around a 45 minute walk from the hotel which I walked once but there was just the usual shops and bars etc and nothing special in there to make me want to return. During our time here, we had the great pleasure of standing on our balcony and watching a beautiful beachside wedding take place - a very romantic setting. I'd definitely return here to a villa room in future. Highly rated hotel with exceptional staff, service and accommodation.

Great hotel and grounds and also excellent choice of food. Majority of the staff were excellent however let down by the bar staff who were very choosey who they served.

Just got home from a 5 night stay here. Definitely 5 star rating. I stopped with my wife and 2 kids (5 &9).
Room - wow, really lovely, modern design and furnished, I was expecting the typical terracotta decor but this was a fresh new modern contemporary design and we were very surprised at how nice it was.
The air con unit worked no problems, the bathroom was lovely really impressed.
Pool - we had a private pool which was lovely to get away and have some quite time, the main pool area was also nice, it was clean and we found no issues with getting a loungers even at 10am.
Staff - really friendly and great service, nothing bad to say, very welcoming and what is expected from a 5 star hotel.
Food - really impressed, i compare this to other 5 star hotels all inclusive we have stopped at in Mexico, Spain etc and this is up there with them if not better. The food choice was great even fro veggies like me. No complaints, we didn't bother using our Al a carte vouchers because we loved the main restaurant.
Negatives - only 1 really small one, no iron in the room or available. There is an ironing service but if you just want to do a quick iron it would be nice to have one available instead of sending your clothes off. Also again very minor note could do with a full size mirror in the room maybe on the wardrobe.
Summary - Highly recommend and I would 100% stay here again big thumbs up 👍🏽

Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a luxurious holiday in Crete. The rooms were spacious with direct access to the pool area and right by the seaside. The view from the balcony was also great and the personnel was very attentive.

We just dinned at the main restaurant, we weren't staying at the villas.
Staff was very friendly, food very good, wine excellent. Mushroom soup is something one must try in a lifetime 😀
