We stayed at this 5-star resort in Greece and overall had a great experience, though a few areas could be improved.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with well-maintained facilities and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were quiet and comfortable — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The beach was another highlight: clean, scenic, and pleasantly shady during the first part of the day, which made mornings especially enjoyable.
There was also ample parking available, which made things very convenient.
The only downside was the food, which felt average and not quite up to the 5-star standard we were expecting.
Still, it’s a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the Greek coast. With some upgrades to the dining experience, it could be truly exceptional.

I definitely must leave a review for this wonderful hotel because, based on some previous reviews, I'm not sure we stayed at the same place.
From the quick and helpful reservation process (thanks to Pavlos), to the people at the reception, the housekeeping staff (our room was ready even though we arrived a bit early, and it was cleaned every day), and the bar staff – everyone was truly pleasant.
The food was never stale, as some reviews suggested. The hotel is full of greenery and is well organized.
Where we spent most of our time – the beach – it was not crowded, with comfortable sunbeds and chairs, and natural shade by 11 AM.
Looking forward to coming back!

The days flew by and we have to leave unfortunately!! We weren’t sure whether our dog would feel comfortable in a new place but the staff, the pet kingdom and all the green in the hotel proved that it was a great decision to stay here! Having the friendly groom help us with the luggage was also ideal. Loved the place - other guests don’t respect the “no reservation allowed for the sun beds at the beach” but that didn’t matter much since there are plenty sunbeds and water sports 5 min from here to their other hotel. Planning to come back in late September !!

Stunning hotel with amazing location, especially if you have a car; but still easy to get around with a cab or the hotel’s minibus to nearby towns (around €6 pp per way). Convenient parking near the rooms and private parking and pool beds if you are in an Armonia suite. Beautiful private beach, multiple pools, stunning sunsets. Staff were all super friendly and helpful, including spa and restaurant teams. Food was generally very good, though some dishes were hit or miss. At the moment there is a family of kittens living near the Limoni restaurant, definately one of the highlights for us. A few downsides: lunch options could be better, no free drinks (even water) included with lunch or dinner even on full board, and housekeeping came into our room a few times despite "Do Not Disturb" sign. Overall though, great spot for a relaxing stay, more suited for young families or couples looking for a quiet getaway.

Our stay at ACROTEL Athena Pallas was largely wonderful, set within a beautifully maintained and thoughtfully arranged resort. All the facilities provided were excellent, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. What truly stood out was the exceptionally polite and genuinely helpful staff, who were always eager to assist with any request.
However, the one significant area for improvement, and quite a disappointing one, was the food offered within the half-board option. Unfortunately, it consistently fell below expectations and, frankly, was not in line with what one would anticipate from a 5-star hotel. The dishes were often repetitive, lacked variety, and on some days, were surprisingly bland. This was a real shame given the overall quality of the hotel.
On a very positive note, we highly recommend trying the Lemoni tavern within the hotel grounds. We had lunch there twice, and it was a completely different story – the food was extremely good, offering the authentic and delicious Greek flavors we had hoped for. It truly delivered the kind of culinary experience one expects from a high-quality Greek meal.
Overall, ACROTEL Athena Pallas offers a fantastic setting and service, but prospective guests should manage their expectations regarding the main buffet dining experience, or consider dining at Lemoni for a truly satisfying meal.
