Hotel was really comfortable and the staff very helpful and welcoming ,lovely rooms and good housekeeping.
Food was good plenty of variety at all the meals , it was busy but not packed which made for pleasant dining.
Bit isolated but bars and restaurants within a 10min walk along the seafront, and bus stops outside hotel to take you further.
Enjoyable stay thank you again to all the staff for making it so.

We stayed here mid January 2024 for 4 nights. Whilst booking Half Board was the same price as B&B. When checking in we got offered AI for €30pp per day but declined as we like to explore local restaurants. If you are drinking quite a lot each day then this was a very attractive offer.
Pros.
Really nice kept grounds, everything is top and always well maintained.
Loads of pools and choices to laze about, could have bars dotted about so you’re never far from a drink.
Rooms are very nice.
Buffet restaurant is really good, especially the breakfast.
It’s really close to the airport so a short transfer, there is also 2 local towns nearby if you want to explore.
The B Lounge and patio area are brilliant. Great entertainment each night and great service at the bar. Great selection of drinks.
They have lots of environmental friendly features, reusable cups etc which is great to see.
Cons:
Buffet restaurant had very few labels on the food. Like any buffet restaurant, the food gets repetitive. We ate for 2/4 nights in the evening.
The complex and finding your room can be tricky. Lots of different levels and some lofts only go to certain levels.
Drinks when you’re not AI are quite expensive - small beer and coke are all €3.50, these soon add up. Pool bars can be a bit slow and they don’t seem to offer service at the sun lounger.
Overall a great stay at a superb resort. I’ll definitely look at other Barceló resorts in Europe.

We hoped for a more enjoyable stay, however, it was marred by patchy service and inconsistent quality of food. The Drago buffet and poolside bar food were often only lukewarm. The food in the Drago restaurant was generally ok, and one or two theme nights were excellent (the Asian night especially, as the sushi was superb). It never ceased to amaze me the weird combinations of food that people were willing to pile on their plates. We asked for more water for our room but it never arrived. The hotel is very nice, if a bit rambling aka a rabbit warren, but we soon found our way around. It is relatively quiet and is mostly adult oriented. The location is a tricky one as just outside the sea side gates is a fantastic boardwalk cum promenade that goes on for miles either left or right along the coast. On the other hand, the constant daytime landings of aircraft can be annoyingly close.

What an amazing place!!!!
Everything was fantastic, the room, food and especially the service was outstanding.
The Friday event "Aperitivo" and Micheline star restaurant with Adrian Bosch was absolutely wonderful! And a huge thank you to Victoria for her fantastic service and for booking it for us.
The best place I have ever stayed at on vacation, I will most definitely return!!

Pro. Easy to get your 10000 steps every day, to and from restaurant
B-Lounge entertainment in the evening was good and at times excellent. Staff in the various bars were very good, attentive and friendly.
Housekeeping staff also very pleasant.
Cons. Our room which was not upgraded from 5 years ago, had a few minor faults which were reported and some of them were dealt with very quickly.
Restaurant was reasonable but poorly labelled in respect to allergies, you could have 20 or so different dishes with only 3-4 Labels, difficult to know which label went with which food.
Having to book a time for breakfast and dinner everyday was a pain, it would have been better to say that you would arrive in a specific half hour each day.
The main nighty entertainment was a disappointment as it was outside and although it was 16 degrees it was quite cool with the breeze and many people were seen in outdoor jackets.
Compared with last time there were a lot more different categories of guests with limitations on what facilities they could use
