Rooms are basic but you know that before you get there so don't expect 5 star luxury and if you want that go elsewhere and pay significantly more. We had a great week at the hotel and the staff were brilliant. The pool bar is great during the day for drinks and snacks and the shop on site has everything you need. We would definitely go back as it has a relaxed non pretentious feel about it.

We paid a premium to stay in a room with a Seaview which was a great view.
We arrived in the late afternoon and we were greeted by a receptionist who was pleasant but everything was very rushed and not a huge amount of information was provided and we didn't understand half of what was said.
We arrived in our room which appeared pleasant and roomy.
We noticed that there were some roadworks outside but being a Sunday didn't really think to much about it so went into town for a meal and retired early after a long day.
At 7.30, the roadworks started with considerable noise and dust being made and by the evening the patio was covered in black dust and the windows to the balcony were covered in dust when we returned from our day out which I cleaned, plus the floor as it was being brought into the room.
This continued for the remainder of the week, Monday until Friday.
By Wednesday evening the wind started to get quite strong which made the dust worse and by the end of the evening the windows started to rattle and the cold air was entering the room from all of the windows making our night cold and very uncomfortable.
On checking the windows 2 had been screwed in, the patio door fame base was jagged at the base and the frame was warped.
We had to stay in on Thursday due to rain and by Friday morning it was unbearable.
I went to reception to ask if Jet2 had been advised of the road works which they confirmed had been done.
I asked if maintenance could come to fix the windows and a visit was made by a gentleman where we were advised that it was "Normal" and nothing could be done.
I returned to reception to advise them of what was said and the receptionist confirmed it was "Normal" and nothing could be done. I asked for the manager and was advised no one was available until the morning but someone would come to see me in the morning between 8 and 9.
Nobody arrived and as we were due to meet family in town and had to leave.
On our return the management had gone home.
We were unable to use the patio for the whole week and were very disappointed after spending additional money.
We had the room cleaned once in a week but did most of it ourselves due to the dust. Towels and bedding changed once also.
Plus sides were a lovely shop with really nice croissants and bread, freshly baked and well stocked. The pool was very clean, staff were pleasant and friendly with the reception staff limited into what could be done to support us and maintained a pleasant manner.
The hotel was in a lovely spot with great views.
Room 370 was a room to avoid if you are planning to stay.

The room was clean, although a little dated it had everything I needed for my 5 night stay. The pool bar was great for morning coffees, light meals and afternoon drinks. The evening entertainment was great on the couple of nights I spent time there and the atmosphere was really friendly. The onsite supermarket was small but well stocked. I didn't use the gym so can't comment on the equipment
The only downsides for me were that my room was on the first floor and rooms have outside stairs with no handrails which could be quite slippery. The tiles in parts of the pool area were slippery when wet too.
The location was really good, a 10 minute walk along the front to the harbour or a shorter walk through a couple of streets which led to Music Square.
I would definitely return overall great value for money

Good value for money if you want self catering. Has a reasonable pool for adults and kids. Pool bar is fine and does a reasonable breakfast. Fresh towels anytime on request, room cleaned every 3 days approx. Reasonable small shop for food and drink and cooked pizzas. About 10 mins walk to music Square with plenty of bars and restuarants. Room has a microwave, 2 ring electric hob, toaster, coffee maker which has a pot for making tea, electric kettle, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
Not far to walk to harbour or Hyperdine supermarket.

This is a tough one to review. I would have given it 3 and a half stars if possible. We stayed 4 nights from 9th Feb 2026. We didn't arrive until nearly 8.30pm the first night. Got checked in quickly, then had to pull 4 suitcases up 2 flights of steepish steps to our apartment. The apartment had two balconies - one facing the sea and one facing the pool. Stunning views. The apartment itself was VERY basic. A biggish TV in main living area and another one in each bedroom. We didn't get to watch anything as the choice of channels was so poor. We were left a small bottle of wash up liquid, a wipe up cloth and a drying cloth. Very helpful. The apartment was not cleaned, beds not made or sheets changed and no towel changes the whole time of our stay. The floor got VERY dirty - though there was a brush and mop + bucket in the cupboard, so we cleaned up ourselves. The 'beach' behing the complex was basically volcanic rock. Lovely to look at, but not to walk on. We found that the nearest shops and restaurants were at least a 10 minute walk away. They have a supermarket within the complex which was VERY handy as they had some freshly cooked rolls, croissants and plenty of other food. They even sold about 6 different flavours of 6" ish pizza, which we had one of our nights and they were actually lovely. The pool area was lovely but the water at this time of the year meant the pool was freezing lol. The pool side bar offered various refreshments and food, which was ok. There was also a gym room and a pool and air game tables. We hired a safe for our stay for 2 Euro a day, which was excellent. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but there was always someone on reception to help if needed (during sociable hours). On our last day we had to be out of the apartment by 12 noon. Our pick up wasn't until 3.10pm, so we were able to put our cases in the room behind the reception until the bus came. The weather was always around 20 degrees on our stay and it only rained briefly on our last day. To be honest I couldn't have stayed in the apartment for a week as it was so basic and the flights of stairs a bit much, but we loved having the 2 balconies and the stunning views.
