Great stay. You get what you pay for so we were not expecting the ritz. Rooms dated and in need of a upgrade, yes but they were clean. We paid for Seaview view room which was beautiful but very very windy so I wouldn't bother. We could always get a sunbed. Pool bar serves food, lovely and great prices so we had lunch here every day. Supermarket on site, good prices with fresh bread and crossiants everyday. We just bought cans of pop from here. Bar in hotel open on an evening with live singer every night, lovely little bar and prices good. We had a great stay here. Only negative I would say is location. About a 15 minute stroll to music square which is fine. It was the walking back on an evening, this didn't feel safe as you have to go through residential streets and we saw some shady characters. We got a taxi back every evening for only 5euro. Would we come back, yes but not get the sea view room. It was an absolute bargain for an Easter school holiday break

Rooms are a little tired looking, but fully functional. We had all we needed for self catering. They also supplied liquid soap, shower gel, shampoo, kitchen washing up liquid, tea towel etc. Pool and pool bar were great. Main evening bar had a great entertainer some nights (Yanni). Reception well staffed. Great location away from the bustle but only a short walk into town.

Lovely hotel, rooms are a great size with kitchen and all you need if you are self catering. We booked a Seaview room, which was perfect. Balcony area have a table, chairs, small clothes drying area. We were provided with towels, amenities pack, and toiletries. Rooms were cleaned once during the week, but we had fresh sheets and towels twice during our week. We opted to keep our room for a few extra hours due to a later flight. You need to book this on the day you're due to check out, no earlier. The pool area is beautiful. There are plenty of sunloungers for all. There is no need to try and reserve any! Supermarket on site has all you need and very, very reasonably priced, too. Fresh pastries and rolls every morning and pizza to order for €5. Location wise, it's 10 mins walk from the marina, but this was perfect for us. We enjoyed walking to the busier areas. We'd definitely stay here again.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price. I don’t usually leave reviews, but my stay at Hesperia Bristol Playa was so appalling, I feel obligated to warn others. This place should not be allowed to operate as a hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was going to be a disaster. The reception staff were indifferent and barely helpful. The room? A total disgrace. Filthy floors, moldy bathroom, broken furniture, and a stench that made us question whether it had been cleaned at all. The so-called “kitchenette” looked like it belonged in a horror movie – rusted appliances, missing utensils, and grime caked onto every surface. The bed was rock hard and creaked with every move. Sleep? Forget it – between the noise from other guests and the uncomfortable setup, we barely rested. The pool was a joke: cloudy water, cracked tiles, and not a single clean sunbed in sight. Wi-Fi didn’t work, and every complaint we made was met with a shrug or an eye-roll from staff. This hotel is not just outdated – it’s neglected, mismanaged, and unsanitary. It should be ashamed to charge anyone to stay here. A complete embarrassment to the hospitality industry The cleanliness of the entire property left much to be desired. The bathroom had mold in the corners, and the housekeeping service was inconsistent at best. On top of that, the kitchen area looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. The pool area was overcrowded and poorly maintained, with chipped tiles and dirty loungers. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and when I asked for help at reception, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful. Overall, this hotel might have been a decent budget option years ago, but it’s in desperate need of renovation and better management. I wouldn’t recommend it unless there are no other options available in the area. The cleanliness of the entire property left much to be desired. We were evicted from Hesperia Bristol Playa after a 14-night stay simply because we refused to pay a €20 fee for staying 45 minutes past checkout. This alone speaks volumes about the hotel’s lack of flexibility and compassion, but the situation was made even worse by the staff’s outright dishonesty and unprofessionalism. Your claim that we left the room in an "appalling state" is a barefaced lie. The room was left as we found it—filthy and unhygienic. Your comment shows nothing but contempt for your guests and a refusal to take responsibility for your own standards. Your response also highlights your complete lack of customer service. Instead of showing any kind of understanding or respect, your staff were rude, unhelpful, and dismissive throughout the ordeal. The so-called cleaning staff were rarely seen doing any actual work—mostly wandering the premises in what can only be described as a daze. I personally witnessed them spitting in areas where children were playing. This is beyond unacceptable and utterly disgusting. Calling the police because we refused to pay €20 was a disgrace. You forcibly removed us from the property, leaving our child—wet from the pool and wearing only shorts—crying and distressed on the side of a busy road. That image will stay with me for a long time, and you should be deeply ashamed of how you handled this situation.

Very nice stay in a well run but relaxed apartment, very friendly and helpful staff , very clean and tidy throughout. Nice pools ( 3, 1 kiddie, ) clean and very well maintained, pool bar for drinks and snacks very friendly clean and well run all day , and a bar for evening relaxation with music and TV All in a nice relaxing stay and we are already booked to return.. The Archeture gives Real feel of Spain with the white stucco walls and block design …..
