We stayed at the Astoria Playa for three nights and were impressed by the high standard of this hotel. Starting with the service worthy of a five-star luxury hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. The food was of a high standard, especially the dinners. There was excellent entertainment every night. We really enjoyed the "Feeling" on Mondays. There is no private parking, but we didn't have any problems parking. The only thing we didn't like was the red wine Sangria. Very bad, disproportionate to the high standard of the hotel. It will definitely be my first choice on a next trip to Mallorca.

Great hotel, nice welcome/check-in and helpful staff. The place it kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast range was extensive and the quality excellent, tables are cleared constantly to maintain the spotlessness. A short bus ride from the port and old town but close to the beech with local amenities if needed. Entertainment most nights too if that appeals.

Hotel Astoria ticks all the boxes:
- Friendly staff who are very attentive
- Good location, 7min walk to beach and shops/restaurants even closer
- Strong water pressure in the shower
- Tasty food and drinks
- Comfy bed and pillows
- Clean throughout
Staff are welcoming from the moment you arrive, offering you a drink whilst you wait to be checked in. Throughout our stay they checked if we are ok, happy, if we need anything, etc.
The food selection at breakfast and dinner is varied. The chefs are able to reuse the food in creative ways and we did not have any major issues during our one-week stay.
The reason for not giving 5 stars:
- Our shower door was leaking water across the bathroom floor
- The balcony LED lights were very bright, we were told they should turn off at 11pm however ours stayed on through the night for the first 3 nights
- No water refill stations except for in the gym
- No offer of free water during dinner, only expensive bottled water
- Equipment in the gym is very limited and it is tough to get a proper session in. But what they have does suffice for a quick getaway workout
- Entertainment was music every night without variation. Also it starts quite late (9:15pm for example) which the band is loud if you're in bed after a long day in the sun
Despite these things we would definitely return and recommend this hotel for adults.

An incredible experience, the hotel was very welcoming and the staff was top notch. Thanks to Lenka for her willingness and great attention, she was lovely! I went with some friends to enjoy around the island and have fun exploring beaches, tasting local food, and relaxing in the sun every day.
Zygimantas Bajarunas
We stayed here for a quick weekend break and absolutely loved it. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely amazing — delicious, beautifully presented, and with plenty of variety. Great location, cozy atmosphere, and excellent value. We’ll definitely be back!
