This resort is amazing! The staff is 10/10, best experience we’ve ever had. Every person we encountered was absolutely amazing but a few specific shoutouts.
Max is so fun! He is always entertaining and he has a great personality! My husband played volleyball with him for hours + They could not stop sharing laughs during the dance lessons!
Angel-o is a TRIP! He is so kind, fun, and hilarious! He works so hard to ensure guests have the best time. We loved seeing him all around the resort. A jack of all trades for entertainment!
Elizabeth is AMAZING! Her help was priceless for our wedding. She was so on top of everything. She made our experience feel personalized despite her busy schedule and made everything stress free. She listened and was right on top of things to ensure our expectations were met. I would highly recommend this resort for your destination wedding! The buffets (Mexican and Caribbean) at our wedding events were a huge hit also! Our guests loved the staff and were all so impressed with the services. So attentive to our every need. Any issues (few and far between) my guests had were resolved promptly.

The staff here are amazing, thank you everyone for being so kind and polite, reliable, quick, and excellent energy. I loved the animals that live near the property, including the coatí they love pizza, the beach dog, the woodpeckers, the spiny tailed lizards (Rafa, Venus, and more), a blind black cat (so sweet) and geckos. I loved the food at the different restaurants, I was not able to visit every single one in the time I stayed there, but I greatly enjoyed the dinner shows at the pyramid, the lobster house, the breakfast buffet, and the French restaurant was phenomenal. I appreciated the private shuttle to and from. The bellhops and room service was excellent. Room service wait time is to be expected (especially after the evening shows conclude and people want late night snacks) however I had the best Salmon I've ever had by room service thank you so very much. The morning room service with egg dishes were also delicious and worth trying. The beach is beautiful and there are plenty of shaded beds, and hammocks to sun on, and you can see downtown Cancun. Thank you for an amazing time I never left the resort.

We had an incredible stay at Excellence Riviera Cancun. The food was consistently great, with tons of variety and excellent quality across all the restaurants. The amenities were amazing — clean pools, relaxing spots everywhere, and a resort layout that feels both luxurious and easy to navigate.
But the biggest surprise of the entire trip was discovering that the resort has an on-site tennis pro named Alex. Most resorts don’t offer this at all, let alone someone who is a retired professional player. His tennis clinics and private lessons were honestly some of the best coaching sessions we’ve ever had — fun, detailed, challenging, and incredibly helpful. It became one of the highlights of the trip.
And of course, having nonstop coffees, pastries, and the beautiful pool to return to didn’t hurt either.
If you’re heading to Cancun and want a resort that combines great food, luxury amenities, and unique offerings like world-class tennis instruction, (Pickleball too!)Excellence Riviera Cancun is absolutely worth it.

Was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! 6 amazing days! Seasons tours was wonderful and on time for both rides! Treated like royalty the moment we got out of the suv on arrival at the resort. Check in experience was easy and comfortable. Beautiful room and grounds! So much to explore! Wonderful bartenders and servers at the pool areas. Want to give an extra special shoutout to Santos for really making us feel special. He was so friendly with that warm, big smile and truly made our experience that much more unforgettable… remembering little things about us and really making us feel at home. Rodrigo and Matilde were also incredible and friendly, making sure we had everything we could want. The restaurants were all great… my faves were for sure The Flavor Market and The Grill. Domingo at the Flavor Market provided exceptional and friendly service and Diego at The Grill and Agave was another standout provider for us. Another employee made our experience that much more exceptional, was Diana (in the orange polo)! She would spot us and talk to us everyday like old friends, asking questions about our stay and reminding us of activities coming up while also remembering previous conversations and things about us! Truly a beautiful resort. Top notch employees. Our first time going to another country from USA and we will be returning. Thank you so much to Excellence Riviera Cancún for an unforgettable vacation and for providing such wonderful people to take care of us!

This was our 2nd stay at Excellence Rivera Cancún, and it was just as wonderful as the 1st. This is the only resort my wife and I have ever repeated, because it’s just that great. We love its location, only a 20 minute ride from the airport. Check in with Maria at the excellence club was a breeze, she set us up with our beach cabana for the next day. Mario, Marco, and Antonio in the excellence club beach concierge took great care of us, we were never without a drink. They even brights us a special coconut drink on my birthday. Dinner at the grill for my birthday was extra special. Stafany, Carla and Arturo really went above and beyond to give me a great experience and dinner. Another night we went to agave and Edgar and Avid made excellent recommendations, dinner was delicious as always. We also visited lobster house and oregano for dinners and they did not disappoint.
