We stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres for 5 nights. The service from the moment we landed on the property was excellent. Everyone from the front desk to guest services to room service and wait staff did their job with a smile and were extremely prompt and courteous. They had coordinated with our transfer company to ensure a smooth drop-off and pickup from the airport. Our Junior suite was clean and well equipped and we enjoyed the balcony thoroughly. The food was for the most part average to slightly above average, we felt it was consistently under seasoned likely to appeal to a more universal palette. We felt the Lobster House and the buffet were our favorites amongst the restaurants. The hotel was also extremely helpful in guiding our excursions during this trip and made every excursion very smooth.
Our only major complaint was the fact that it took significant time for the food to come out at sit down restaurants: 45 min-1hr almost every time. This meant we had to show up at the restaurant quite a bit ahead of when we wanted to eat which took some getting used to.
We also got a massage at the spa which was excellent and enjoyed sitting on the pristine beach. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the service and experience here and would definitely come back.

We had an absolute amazing experience at this resort for our honeymoon!!! My first all inclusive resort and I am already planning my trip back! Everything at this resort is top tier from the service to the restaurants to the bars to the pool and beach, 10/10!!! We got an excellence club room and it was well worth the extra money! Johnny was our favorite bartender! Sully and Jesus truly spoiled us on the excellence club beach, they did sand art for us, a super cute coconut drink, a gift, etc! They went above and beyond for our last day of our honeymoon! Alberto kept the drinks coming and worked his butt off serving everyone! We had an amazing trip!!!

This is our second time at Excellence Playa Mujeres and it was even better than the time before! The service was fabulous and everyone is so nice and helpful. The entertainment is awesome and the food is so delish! Our server Manuel at the Grill was so nice as well. The entertainment people, Gabriel, Brandon, Kevin, etc. were amazing and made our stay much more enjoyable. The location is great too since you’re not as far from the airport and can still enjoy the excursions around like Isla Mujeres, which you can see from the beach. All in all, 1000/10 recommended as your vacation destination!

Excellence Playa Mujeres was Outstanding! My wife & I visited f/our 30th wedding anniversary and we were beyond delighted! The room (Excellence Club Rooftop Terrace Suite) was incredible - the balcony, upstairs terrace & plunge pool, and hot tub were great. We ate at all but two restaurants and were never disappointed - Alan, our server @ Oregano was great. My fav was the Grill and my wife's was Magna. Live entertainment was top notch, bars were great - Cesar was the best bartender!, and the beach concierge were the best ever - without a doubt, Edgar & Isabel made our last day incredible. I can't recommend this place enough!

Our experience at Excellence Playa Mujeres was incredible, and Sully made it truly unforgettable! She took care of us in the Excellence Club cabanas and went above and beyond in every way. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so special with thoughtful surprises and the sweetest, most attentive service.
Sully has the kindest heart and such a genuine way of making you feel welcomed and celebrated. Her attention to detail and warm personality turned an already amazing day into something extra special.
