From the moment we arrived at this stunning beach resort in Mexico, we knew we were in for something special. The warm welcome, refreshing drinks, and breathtaking ocean views set the tone for a truly unforgettable vacation.
The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed with a perfect blend of modern comfort and tropical charm. Waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunrise from our private balcony was magical.
The staff went above and beyond every single day. They worked so hard in the hot weather to ensure we were well taken care of. David, Miguel, and Rosie were attentive to everything we asked for. From serving us drinks, picking up our empty glasses, or simply offering a warm smile, their hospitality made us feel like a family.
The beach was pristine, the pools were crystal clear, and there were plenty of lounge chairs and shady spots to relax. We also loved the food—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and artfully presented, especially the seafood dishes and authentic Mexican cuisine.
From romantic sunsets to exciting adventures like snorkeling and touring the island, this resort truly had it all. We can’t wait to come back—this place is a slice of paradise. Highly recommend!

While the overall service at the resort has been consistently good, Julio elevated the experience for our family in a way that was genuinely unforgettable.

This resort is amazing and the staff is kind and provides great service. Alberto really helped us out getting drinks and food for us by the pool. He was super fun, engaged with us and always made us feel attended to. The martini bar in the main lobby is also an incredible time when CESAR is running the bar. He has great energy and tries to get everyone their drinks quick. He also loves his pop culture quotes that he repeats all night, so be ready for some laughs. Overall, we love it here because the staff do a wonderful job. Make sure to tip them well!

Can't say enough about this resort. We went here for our honeymoon, and it was by far the best couples vacation we have ever been on. The food was excellent and there was plenty variety. Mexico night on Thursday night was my favorite. My wife loved the hibachi at Spice (be sure to get a reservation for it).
The room was excellent (we got a two story Excellence Club plunge pool suite). I wish there were for electrical plugs in the room. If I went back I'd throw in a small outlet strip.
The beach was great and they kept it pretty clean. You do have to play the chair game in the morning. They say you can't reserve your chairs by placing something on it in the morning, but that's exactly what everyone does. If you want a nice spot in the morning get it early.
Overall we loved the whole resort and will be going back for an anniversary trip

Excellent is the right name for this beautiful resort with the most amazing staff. From check in with Veronica who set the tone for the nonstop incredible and remarkable service we are experiencing. Emmanuel at the pool focused on making the perfect drink for me, and kept bringing them all day. A wonderful day relaxing at the Excellence Beach Club with Alejandro and Emilliano making sure we could stay perfectly relaxed. Very special is the fun and laughter from the contagious energy of Jacob and Jesus with Aqua Fun, Pool Volleyball, and Tequila classes on the beach. The team are so friendly and do not miss any details when it comes to providing what you need.
