We stayed here for 4 nights. Accessing the hotel by public transport was easy, and it was in walking distance to everything we needed. Staff were nice and we didn’t have any issues. Room wasn’t anything special but it was spacious and clean. Balcony was nice. Bathroom was very small but was still good. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, they had everything you could think of. The pool was good.

I have stayed at the Hotel Oro Negro over a dozen times in the last three years and only once was I given a room I didn't like ,When I went to the reception I requested another room and after a few minutes the problem was resolved satisfactorily. The reception staff are always very helpful and friendly and welcoming. The food I find there is a good choice either cooked or a good salad choice. My room has always been made up more than efficiency by housekeeping , I have looked at other options but they are overpriced. I am due to return in early December for two weeks, This being my third stay this year and I have already booked two trips for next year. so far . Thank to everyone at the Oro Negro for making my stays welcoming ones.

We had a very pleasant stay at Catalonia Oro Negro. The services were good overall, and Monica from the reception was especially kind and helpful. We also received a free room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise.
The breakfast buffet offered plenty of options for everyone, and there was also the possibility to have dinner buffet-style, with many choices each evening. Both at breakfast and dinner there were chefs cooking on the spot – preparing omelettes and pancakes in the morning, and fish or meat in the evening right in front of the guests.
The cocktails at the bar were very good, especially the piña colada. Everyone working at the reception, bar, restaurant, and housekeeping was very friendly and welcoming.
The room was comfortable and suitable for a couple. One thing we didn’t like was that the bathroom developed an unpleasant smell from the drainage system at some point, but it eventually resolved on its own.
The hotel is in a great location — very close to the beach, with a supermarket just 5 minutes away, and various restaurants within a 10-minute walk.
If you visit Tenerife, must-see attractions include the Mariposarium, Masca, Teide, the Dragon Tree, and Loro Parque.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would gladly return!

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Tenerife staying at Catalonia Oro Negro loved the hotel and was in a great location for access to lots to do. We had a lovely room facing the swimming pool and terrace the bed was comfortable and changed at least 3 times during our stay the towels were plentiful the only issue we had the the floor in the room and terrace could have been a bit cleaner it was a bit dusty. The room had good air conditioning. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke very good English (special thanks to the reception Lorena who was always willing to help with anything and very quick and efficient in solving any issues we had. The food was good and plentiful and with lots of choice there was something for everyone the restaurant staff were amazing again spoke good English and always willing to help(David, Antonio and Alfredo need a special mention) The entertainment was great and lots of evening shows to suit all The animation team are fabulous and are great in keeping us all entertained so thank you to you all ( especially Tamara). We would highly recommend this hotel and we look forward to returning again soon

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Oro Negro and it’s just as good as before ! The staff are lovely, the food is EXCELLENT, (so much choice)! And the location is perfect ! A ten minute walk from the beach, and Los Cristianos is walking distance too. We celebrated my husband’s birthday whilst we were there, and they gave us a bottle of champagne ! The entertainment staff were amazing too ! Highly recommend !
