Overall great hotel, big and spotless rooms. Beautiful gardens and swimming pools. Great food, plenty to choose from.
The hotel is in very quiet location which we loved.
Few cons however.
Some of the bar staff members a bit grumpy.
The restaurant manager constantly talking on his phone in front of the guests which isn’t very professional.
The bar by the main pool- very very slow service from the waitress.
All inclusive - sparkling water not included. I like sparkling water and I have never had to pay extra anywhere for sparkling water.

Where to begin??
The hotel and facilities were clean and up to date.
Our room was spotless and cleaned daily if requested.
The restaurant had an enormous variety of food. There was something for everyone.
The pools and surrounding areas were clean and safe.
The hotel is only a 5 min walk from the beach and a souvenir shop, which sold any essentials you had forgotten.
But I have to say what really made the holiday an epic one was the staff. Every single member of staff could not have done more!!!! Friendly and helpful are just a few words I could use. A special mention to Angela in the pool bar who always managed to remember everyone's name and was always smiling.
Thank you Apollonion Resort. We will definitely be back!!!

An amazing hotel, but needs a few small tweaks to make it to that 5 star rating they say it is. Service at all the bars is very poor, sometimes a 20, even 30 minutes wait for your drinks. The system they use, doesn't work. A lovely coffee machine in room, but paper cups (that don't fit) is that 5 star? Besides these issues, a great hotel, friendly staff and a beautiful location.

Came for 4 nights mid May and it was amazing! Our room was upgraded and we were left gift in the room because it was our anniversary - lovely touch :)
Rooms/restaurant/pools were always kept so clean. The ladies in the pool bar were lovely and remembered our room number after the first day!
Only thing I would improve is the vegetarian options for food as there wasn’t a lot and it wasn’t clear on the labels if it was definitely vegetarian. Chefs were helpful and told me what was vegetarian though!

We had the pleasure of spending a week on a half-board basis in May and it was truly relaxing and nourishing experience. The hotel’s layout made a great impression, and the welcoming ride on a golf cart set the tone for a warm and relaxing stay.
The atmosphere was inviting and the staff made us feel right at home.
The food was absolutely delicious with plenty of choices to suit various nutritional needs and tastes.
We hired a car to get to the hotel- if you do; use the Ionian Ferries to cross the water -it is not only quicker but also affordable.
XI beach- 5 mins walk from the hotel is an absolute must see. If you get bored of the amazing infinity pool that is. 7 nights to 10 are ideal if you want to use the facilities ( spa, outdoor cinema, aqua dance in one of the pools, complimentary stretching and yoga- there is plenty to do onsite). You may want to venture to Lixouri, Agrostoli, Fiscardo or Assos. Just keep in mind that some roads wind through the mountain.
Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing gateway in the sun and warm breeze.
