A Comfortable Stay at Hampton Marjan Island We had a nice stay overall at Hampton Marjan Island. Check-in was smooth and the reception team was very helpful—big thanks to them for a kind favor that we truly appreciated! The room was clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. It had a partial sea view, though it mostly overlooked a construction site, and there was some drilling noise during the day. Thankfully, it was quiet by evening and we got a good night’s sleep. The hotel was surprisingly busy for a weekday—seemed like a large group or event was taking place—but the staff handled it well. The facilities are above average and still feel fresh and new, which is a plus. Breakfast was lovely, with a good selection of items. We’d love to see more variety of fruits next time, but overall it was a great way to start the day. With a few small improvements, this place could easily become a top spot for a quick escape!

The hotel is nice, clean, and in a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, from the beach to the pool and restaurant. The pool and beach were both well-maintained. The food was okay, not amazing, but there’s enough variety to pick and mix, especially for fussy eaters like me. What brought my rating down were some rude guests and the kids’ pool animation. The two ladies running it only gave attention and turns to Russian-speaking children, completely ignoring others. My kids were really upset and asked if it was because they don’t speak the same language, which was heartbreaking. A lovely place, but the animation team needs to be more inclusive.

Amazing hotel and resort - well equipped for families. Room is so clean and has great amenities - thank you Thaw for your services. The pools are really clean and although the hotel was fully booked, we were able to always find sun loungers. The food as set this hotel apart from others we have stayed in - there is plenty of choice for vegetarians and a great choice for kids too. Even the fussiest will have ample amounts to eat. Kids club was also great and our kids (3,4 and 5) enjoyed going there. Thank you to all the staff for always going above and beyond. A memorable first big family holiday.

I’d say it’s great value for money because this hotel has so much to offer for everyone. There is so much to do, with 9 pools (we tried 4), even a 24/7 pool, kids activities, indoor activities and so on. There is also a good pool bar. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are really friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We lost a key once, and they helped right away with no charge. They also provided a late checkout. The main restaurant is massive, with a good variety of food that tastes great. The atmosphere at the hotel is amazing. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and highly recommend it. If you plan to visit, get here early so you won’t miss the fun.

The stay was decent overall, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The location is beautiful, and the resort itself has a lot of potential with its spacious rooms and well-maintained landscaping. However, the buggy service was very slow — we had to wait at least 20 minutes every time for a transfer from one spot to another. The staff at Cinnamon were friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Yousuf, Ajay, and Farhan. The food was okay — some dishes stood out and were quite good. The pool area was lovely and a highlight of the stay. The room was comfortable, though there were minor maintenance issues like a clogged wash basin. Overall, the resort has a lot to offer, and with better attention to detail, it could truly become a great destination. I might consider returning if improvements are made.

The hotel is perfect! We really enjoyed our weekend there! The breakfast was good and the room was clean. Pools are clean and have a nice view. The beach was also nice. You can enjoy the barbecue night from 7 till 10.30pm (159 DHS per person). In this hotel you can enjoy as a couple or with your family. You can call a buggy that will take you to your required place inside the resort. I would highly recommend this hotel for your vacation.

Great resort for a staycation! The last time we visited was more than 10 years ago and it is wonderful to experience staying in the resort again! Everything seems to be the same as how we remembered it! Great views and the beach and pools were superb. The people working in the resort are probably their best asset! Roselle made our stay from the beginning (during check in) the best as she is super accommodating and kind. Top notch customer service as she is also very solution oriented with a pleasant demeanor and a quick smile. Most of the staff we have gotten in contact with are also super nice and helpful which more than likely makes you want to extend or stay in the resort again!

Overall experience was something new and different from usual hotel stay, but overall service was very slow and in many case staffs were inaccessible. I requested for a additional fan in the tent as it was quiet hot in the afternoon and it literally took 3 hours to get that inspite of repeated follow up with 4 different people and by the time it was sunset. Phone near the tents were not working to reach reception and it was not just in 1 place but in 2 different places and it was very different to reach out unless we climb up the stairs go all the way to reception. Lastly I had to wait 25 mins to get towel after a swim in the pool and entire family including the kids had to wait and we eventually gave up and walked back wet to the tent. I informed the life guard , security and cleaner nearby and all of them said the same message that the team had gone to get towels.i infact walked to the reception and was informed with the same statement of it's on the way. Overall the experience was below par and might not come back.

Review of Our 1st day out of 3days stay – Disappointing Experience for a 5-Star Hotel We are staying here for three nights and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. Upon entering our room, we found it uncomfortably hot. There were no basic bathroom amenities provided such as dental kits, a comb, or a hair dryer. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the advertised presence of a kitchen, but there was none. Additionally, the refrigerator in the room was not working, and there was a persistent damp, musty smell—like wet carpet. The pool area was another letdown. The staff on duty were not only inattentive but also impolite, especially toward children. No towels were offered, and guests were instructed—by pointing fingers—to dispose of their used towels themselves. There were about three pool attendants, but they seemed more focused on discussing their shift schedules than assisting guests. The kids’ play area was particularly concerning. It was poorly maintained and unsanitary. No staff member was present to monitor or assist children, and the toys looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. We’ve stayed at many hotels, including 5-star establishments, and sadly, this was not up to standard. We expected better service, cleanliness, and basic amenities. This experience left us quite disappointed.

Lovely stay at this hotel although rooms are spacious, they are definitely on the older side and could do with some upgrades. Housekeeping also needs some attention or better training as each day we needed to call for towels which were taken and not all replaced. On the other hand service at breakfast, lunch and dinner was fantastic . Arjin went out of his way from our arrival to make us comfortable and provided special care and service for our baby. A special thanks to Arjin, Begoimm and Shakira for your hospitality! Kids club was also quite enjoyable for my little one and was quite welcomed as an additional activity. All in all a relaxing stay

The hotel is not bad, but definitely not 5 stars. Water constantly flows onto the floor in the shower, I fell, but nothing broke, thank God. 🥲Breakfast is average, most of the food is oversalted, and you stand in lines for 10 minutes. I would like to note the cleanliness of the room, they clean well. Stuff is good.

I had a wonderful time in DoubleTree, the staff are super helpful and authentically customer oriented, even though they deal with huge amount of guests but they respond really quickly, everything super efficient. They were so thoughtful to arrange a little surprise for my birthday 🎂 even though I forgot and thought they are so busy to remember such a trivial thing! I had all inclusive reservation. They have a wonderful space for changing in the Spa fully ready to change if you want to go to the pool or beach before checking in. They checked us couple of hours before the official check in time. The rooms are really nice, I stayed in King bay club sea view room, very spacious, awesome open view of the sea. They have 3 pools, all are fantastic, one of them suitable for family and gigantic! Other one only for adults for quite time. The water park is magnificent for kids and also adults. The beach is very clean and not at all crowded. Everything was just perfect! The only comment I have is around the food in open buffet which wasn't the best, but overall it was a memorable stay.

Everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared, with plenty of choices for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The breakfast buffet the next morning was equally impressive — fresh juices, hot dishes, baked goods, and live cooking stations made for a delightful start to the day. The beachfront location is a major plus. We enjoyed a peaceful evening walk by the water and appreciated the serene atmosphere the resort offers. There are also multiple pools and leisure areas, ideal for both families and couples. Overall, our short stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Al Marjan Island was a wonderful escape from the city — great food, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for a relaxing weekend getaway!

A great hotel for a beach holiday with children. There are also excursions, but you just have to go far. We were in early May. Beautiful, comfortable, well-maintained territory, lots of pools and slides for children, a good Playground, children of all ages will find something to do. Sun beds were always found on the beach, the water is clean, there are showers and changing rooms on the beach (although there are few second ones). Everything is thought out in the rooms. Excellent food, friendly staff. We arrived early in the morning and arrived at the hotel before check-in time. I was worried about where I would spend time with a small child while waiting, but there were no problems - our luggage was placed in a special room until the room was ready, and we had the opportunity to change clothes and go for a walk around the hotel. Since the hotel is on a peninsula, it is blown by the breeze, and it is not as hot here as on the mainland, and if you go in January-February, note that it is cooler here. I read reviews about the construction site next door, but I decided to get here, and I didn't regret it. Yes, there is some buzz, but it doesn't really bother you. It's not quieter in our city))). I didn't notice any dust from the construction site either. If you need something, contact the reception desk - they respond immediately, although sometimes they may forget about your request, but they do everything when you remind them, so be persistent. The transfer from Dubai airport was ordered on a separate website and in advance, so there are no problems with the question of how to get there (in May 2025 we went for 300-350 dirhams, maybe there are cheaper options, but I needed confidence that I would get there with the child quickly and without problems). I'll give five stars and I'll come back!

Myself wife and 15 year old son had a great holiday staying at this hotel. The hotels beach is superb, the pool areas are nice and spacious. The staff make you feel really welcome, from reception, restaurant, bar staff and animation team. For example Mousse from the animation team is very polite and comes out of his way to make friendly conversation. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel to other people. The only criticism I would say is that I don't agree with the 'ultra" all inclusive and that all inclusive package means all inclusive. This needs looking at in my opinion. It would be nice to have at least 1 complimentary meal in each restaurant and the drinks need to be the same across the board However do not allow that to put people off. It's a great hotel in a great location (far more quiet than dubai city) and would return Well done to all the staff

Disappointing Experience — Not Recommended 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Our family recently stayed at this resort, and it was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The staff, including the manager, bar manager, and supervisor, seemed more focused on misleading guests than providing genuine service. It felt like they were trained to take advantage of customers rather than help them. From the moment we arrived, the staff was unwelcoming and unhelpful. Simple requests were either ignored or met with rude, dismissive responses. The so-called “all-inclusive package” felt like a scam — a trap designed to fool customers. Be very careful. The service was consistently poor. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned, basic amenities were missing, and when we raised concerns, nobody seemed to care. The staff’s attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome throughout our stay. We came with high hopes for a relaxing family getaway, but this resort fell far below expectations. I sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously and makes urgent improvements in staff training and overall guest experience. Sadly, we cannot recommend this resort to anyone.

The drone and laser shows, combined with the spectacular fireworks, were nothing short of magical. It was an unforgettable experience that made our New Year’s celebration truly special. BM Beach Resort delivered great value, great fireworks view, and highly satisfactory experience, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking memorable New Year fireworks!

The hotel offers an international cuisine menu, which is a nice touch for variety. However, the quality of the food doesn’t quite live up to expectations. Some dishes lacked freshness, and flavors were inconsistent. While the presentation was decent, the overall taste and quality left room for improvement. It’s a fair option if you’re not too picky, but it could definitely be better.

One of the traditional resorts of the UAE. This place has its specific relaxing vibe. The territory is taken care of with love and attention, a lot of greenery and inhabited with dozens of cats who don't look like stray cats at all: they look healthy and happy. Despite the place is pet friendly, I would not bring my pet there since I fear that local animal may become protective of their territory and therefore aggressive to your pet. It is such a pity that some works are now being carried out to reclaim the land in this area, the hotel is further and further from the sea.

We were a group of friends who went for a short break with our kids. The person who checked us in was very rude from his very first words. According to him our kids who are 12 years old are not kids but adults. I wish he would have been more polite in telling us that kids above 12 years of age would be considered as adults or something. The way he spoke was very unprofessional. There were Bedbugs in the room they have given me. Then they offered me a deluxe room but I didn't want to stay far away from my group of friends so I went for the standard room. They promised to give an extra bed but I didn't get it. I had to sleep in a double bed with my 2 kids. They have offered 2 single beds to my newly married friends. I had to call more than 10 times from afternoon till midnight to get my charger delivered to my new room which I have forgotten at the previous room. They have moved me to a new room because the room was with bed bugs but they were telling me that they are unable to check the room for my charger because they have already checked in another guest for the same room. Very disappointing. Please make sure to check your bags and clothes for bed bugs. But I must say that Aubrey from the front office was very professional and Hanan (Bell boy) was very helpful too. It is sad that after 30+ years they are going to demolish the resort and I could understand the desperation of the staff, 200+ employees who have lost their jobs. But I hope the menagement would really take care of it's staff. Dinner was always really delicious but the breakfast and lunch was not good. My friend's daughter had food poisoning on the day we checked out and we had to take her to hospital. All in all, it could have been better for the money that we have spent.

Shocking Experience – Deeply Disrespectful and Unprofessional We had an extremely upsetting experience during our stay. While dining at the hotel, we ordered a salad and were shocked to find a hard olive pit inside. This caused two of my husband’s teeth to break. When I asked the duty manager to help us find a doctor, instead of offering support or showing concern, she asked if we would pay for it ourselves. What hurt even more was when the manager said, “We know you are just looking for money, that’s why you’re making up this story.” This comment broke my heart and deeply offended me. We were in real pain and distress, and to be accused of lying for money in a five-star hotel was shocking and humiliating. It was not only disrespectful, but a complete failure in customer care and basic human decency. We have stayed in many five-star hotels around the world, and this is the first time we’ve experienced anything like this. Despite having paid for two nights, we decided to check out early. The hotel staff showed no empathy, no responsibility, and no effort to make things right. We stayed in room 824, and I want to make it clear: we will never return to this hotel, and I strongly do not recommend it to anyone who cares about quality, safety, or respectful treatment.

Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We had the 2 bed ocean view room which was ridiculously big. Each bedroom had its own mini living room and there was also a main living room, 3 bathrooms, 3 walk in wardrobes etc The service was the best, it was all of the little things: - Surprise birthday cake - Around the pool - Ice cold face towels, rose water cool down spray, lollies for the kids - Perfume gift from hotel on or final day It was just outstanding service. The only down side was there wasn't any entertainment at night and with 3 children this meant we had to head out. Recommended for those who are looking for luxury in a quieter location. We would likely return but probably split the trip between Dubai & RAK for the perfect blend

I went for dinner with friends who were staying at Waldorf with two young children under the age of 2. Still, we could enjoy a great dinner and have conversations while toddlers were playing around. The Waldorf was absolutely amazing! Dinner food buffet was beyond delicious! The variety in food options was incredible. Kids are entertained and looked after. The food was freshly prepared at the pasta booth plus dessert was mouthwatering. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Kept clearing the table and was very polite. I will definitely come again for a lunch and breakfast buffet, for sure!

Thank you for the warm hospitality during our recent stay. The hotel, staff, and facilities were very nice and we truly appreciated the experience. However, I would like to highlight a few concerns: The bracelet provided was too tight and uncomfortable to wear. It would be better to offer adjustable or more comfortable alternatives. At checkout, there was no lunch available. My children were very hungry, but unfortunately, they were not allowed to enter the lunch area. The shower in our room was not working properly and there was a leak. Although your team responded quickly and fixed it, such issues should be checked and resolved before guest check-in to ensure a comfortable stay.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. It isn't especially fancy, particularly by Emirates standards, but comfortably met all of our needs and was sensibly priced (again, particularly by Emirates standards). That meant we could afford a room upgrade and to take advantage of the massages offered at the spa. The hotel offered us plenty of places to bask in the 30-degree March sunshine and respectable food options. Our room this time round looked like it could use a little bit of updating but we understand this is in fact ongoing, and the room still had the two things you really want in the UAE, namely, great views and great A/C. As a bonus it had an expansive and very sunny balcony, too, from which you could see both east over the ocean and west over the Gulf - Al Marjan island is very skinny where the hotel sits, so it stretches almost all the way across. The hotel was not full but felt lively with plenty of young families there. That said the adults-only pool and section by the buffet were well policed. The room was cleaned and made up efficiently; the food was fine in the buffet and better again in the a la carte eating spaces; the staff were unfailingly welcoming and polite. Hotel performances are not really my thing but from the shows going on in the background when we were in the restuarants and bars it was obvious even to me that the entertainment team was full of talented individuals, too. The only real downside while we were there was the temporary lack of beach access due to the local authority deciding to carry out beach widening. The hotel had arranged regular shuttle buses to other hotels in the area which did still have beach access but, given the plentiful spaces around the pool, we didn't feel the need to try that out. We did, however, take daily walks along the broad promenade running past the hotel on the Gulf side, perfect for watching sunsets. All in all it was a really good early spring break and we're certainly going to consider coming back to this hotel in the future.

Given the location, International guests will always be arriving early in the morning; the fact only snacks area available until 3pm instead of meals is not ideal. The food quality at places is definitely not 5-star (burger outlet) and the fact you need to be on your phone at 11am to secure a premium restaurant is ridiculous having paid thousands to stay at the resort. Despite staying six days, could not get a reservation at Meat. Main restaurant is OK but crowded and this was during a period when the hotel is running at 2/3rd capacity due to renovation. Adjacent hotels I have stayed at definitely offer a better experience on food and beverage. Choice of literally one pool if you have kids and it's majorly overrun. Especially when only two accommodation blocks open. Signs posted everywhere that towels are removed from loungers after 3o mins to stop people blocking them off but this was never enforced. I'd hate to be at this resort when it's a full capacity! Sports Bar with no food option? Why? Hotel rooms are good but for the price, are they really value for money. The inclusive minibar has only Budweiser as an alcoholic beverage and even then its one can and not replenished daily. Cheap potato snacks which could easily have been substituted for nuts or dried fruits would be a better idea. Overall, does not feel we got value for money at Rixos. There are better options a few doors down!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it, especially for families. The food was extremely good with a great variety, catering to different tastes and preferences. It is an excellent choice for families, offering numerous activities to keep children engaged and entertained. The cocktails were fantastic, adding to the enjoyable experience. The hotel's ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The only downside I noticed was that the TV was not a smart TV and did not support YouTube, which would have been helpful for keeping the kids entertained. Overall, this hotel provides a great experience with excellent food, drinks, and service. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t fault it at all. The staff are always smiling and are happy to serve you, they work tirelessly. Everywhere is kept spotlessly clean. The adult only infinite pool area is perfect for couples as is the adult only area in the buffet where the food has lots of choice with something to suit all tastes. Must make a special mention for Imalka and Bryan for their amazing service during our stay, they are a credit to the hotel. Overall this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in over the years. We also would like to recommend MALAK tourism for amazing airport transfers and a fay into Dubai. Thank you to Bar Al Bahr

Yesterday me along with a couple of my friends went to the hotel for a private official event. The security agent there asked us in an interrogative tone regarding our visit and told us that the event is over. He wasn’t even taking up our car for the valet. Somehow we entered the hotel lobby after telling him that we will check it out ourselves, he followed us and asked us TO LEAVE the hotel as the event was over. We called our event manager and it was pretty much going on. This is absolutely rude and disrespectful. These people are divisive based on your appearance and monetary appeal. I deserve an apology for this. HILTON, take note.

Had a superb stay with my family at the hotel - the biggest highlights were the room sizes, breakfast selection and the kids waterpark - had a great canopy covering the park from the sun so we could all spend a good amount of time there, wife and I also had fun on the slides. Staff were phenomenal - look forward to coming back!

The worst Experience in my life, Staff are very rude and have Ego, They are not welling to listen epically in the restaurant (almarjan team) like you are pigging from them, the restaurant not organized the food repeated, the menu not serving all nationalities the food cold I saw residents holding food from trays with no spoons and no one stop them, they came to my table more than 4 times while me and my family eating to count us in very bad way with no respect . I requested Birthday cake for my husband 11am they told me OK at 10 pm they told me can we postpone it chef needs 3 hrs to finish it Rooms with no hygiene kit and room. They really disturbed my vacation. Not recommended at allllll

I am very disappointed with Hilton this time. I visited for a night stay and the room was sea view on 4th floor. The toilet was smelling very bad. I had to call them 3 times for someone to come and check. Later, they came and said that they applied chemical. It was just normal toilet cleaner and the smell remained once the smell of toilet cleaner eventually faded. It was smelling the same for the whole stay and really is unexpected and unacceptable from a brand like Hilton. How could they be so irresponsible allocating such rooms to visitors without addressing or fixing the issue. Apart from this, which spoiled my experience in rooms we enjoyed and had great time.
