I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel.The cleanliness was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The food offerings were both delicious and diverse, satisfying even the most discerning palates. The beach was simply wonderful, providing a picturesque backdrop for relaxation and leisure. However, what truly took my breath away was the breathtaking view from the hotel's rooftop terrace. Despite its focus on families with children, I found my stay to be incredibly satisfying and enjoyable.

EDIT: with all the kids facilities present in this hotel, children’s safety covered by lifeguards are taken very lightly. We had an issue in the inflatable pool where my friend’s kid was trapped and crying. The life guard was only giving verbal instructions. When we raised our concern to the lifeguard supervisor, he said that the lifeguard did the right thing without even investigating or checking videos. We tried to raise a complaint to the deputy manager (he was very polite btw), he said it’s an internal issue that will be handled internally. No complaint number or anything would be given. He suggested to raise all our concerns when the feedback link is sent to my email. The safety of children is taken very carelessly in this hotel. Take care. Spacious rooms including a sofa bed, excellent sea view and balcony and full of kids activities. Dining options are great. Highly recommended for families with kids.

Surprised this hotel is not 5 star. Rooms and kept clean. Everything is new and well maintained. Pool area and kids activities are good. Food menu is good. Suggest minimum half board or full board if not travelling out. Special mention to Manisha and Ram for great and fast room cleaning. Hotel ideal for kids.

I absolutely cannot fault this hotel at all. All staff members we encountered including reception staff, food & beverage staff, lifeguards, security, the housekeeping team and everyone else were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast is wonderful there is so much to choose from, lots of different cuisines from around the world even the pickiest of eaters will find something they like. Rooms are immaculate and cleaned daily and complimentary bottles of water are replenished. Everything you need is provided such as soap, shampoo & body wash. Even toothbrushes are available if you ring reception they will send one straight up. We absolutely loved the inflatable obstacle course in the pool on the beach. On our last day the staff even came to our room to collect our luggage for us for storage until we were leaving the hotel later that night. What really stood out to me were the staff at camp safari! Caroline and Sophie you really made my daughter's holiday! They truly are an asset to your team. Tia misses you already. Thank you for everything we can't wait to come back 💖

This is our second time to this hotel, and will likely not be our last. If you have young kids, this hotel is great! If you like to workout, the gym here is well equipped and maintained. Eating options are plenty, but the buffet always checks off multiple boxes. The rooms are clean, the building is well maintained. Every single member of the staff is always courteous, and service-minded. For this price range, you simply can’t beat it!

Very clean hotel, beautiful view... a short distance from the metro, from the Marina, everything you need is nearby. We travel a lot, and I have never seen such a wonderful staff anywhere. Make yourself at home and you won't want to leave. everyone had a terrible attitude. The room was TINY for 3 adults. We booked deluxe for space but got a standard due to over booking, no refund as they upgraded to a marina view! The breakfast was sufficient, although all staff were lovely and accomodating.

The pool staff, the housekeeping, the front desk, the bellman - when I say everyone, I mean everyone! It really made an impression how kind everyone was.

A bit disappointed with my latest stay here. Only one power plug in the room, about 4 meters from the bed. In these modern times? Breakfast is very basic. Want a cappuccino or something else than plain coffee? You have to pay extra... I've stayed here many times, but I'll stay somewhere else next time.

Great hotel representing Riu high standards. Although fully booked we did not feel the crowds except the dinner - you can avoid them with booking in theme restaurants. The hotel beach is exceptional, crystal clear water ideal for swimming, the swim zone has 200m length. Rooms spacious, well cleaned and once you figure out the A/C the temperature can be kept in bearable levels. If you are fan of plane spotting, there are airplanes starting almost every minute from the nearby airport, you can watch all the A380, Boeing Dreamliners and other interesting planes. Some people dislike, but we were happy and not disturbed.

Visited my friends who were staying there. Large and comfortable rooms, clean beach, small water rides for children, big swimming pool, interesting show every evening. We had dinner in Asian restaurant and it was good. Friends had all inclusive package, drinks were served at the beach, bar, restaurant. Service was good, enough waiters. I didn't like location, noise from airport, nothing around, but i beleive there is a shuttle bus to visit city.

We stayed in this hotel during Christmas and we had a wonderful time! The restaurants and the food were simply amazing, together with the service. Big thanks to the staff of the main restaurant for always accommodating us and our 2 year old. The hotel was always clean at every spot, the housekeeping team obviously woks very hard and they are doing a great job. There's room for improvement for the reception and the kid's entertainment team. I read it in the reviews that the sofa was not prepared as a bed for the child when people arrived. Knowing that we would arrive in the middle of the night I wrote not one but two emails about it, the reception replied, but still they did not pass down this info to housekeeping so we have to wait another 25 minutes until it was done when we arrived at 1 am. They were not very helpful nor welcoming on other occasions either. Also some of the guys at the kids entertainment team yelled at young children with the intention of scaring them when they were recruiting the kids to meet Santa. That's not OK, they should be learning how to treat the smaller ones. The hotel is directly under the flight route of the departing and arriving airplanes, so there's a loud plane passing every 2 minutes, which can be heard from the rooms, from the beach, everywhere basically. That might disturb some. All in all it's a great hotel and I would return anytime.

Loved everything about this hotel. Staff were so friendly. No having to get up early and reserve sunbeds. Plenty of variety in the restaurants, can highly recommend the Lebanese and Asian. Main 'buffet' restaurant had plenty to chose from even for the fussy ones. Hotel was spotless. Would have loved there to have been an adults only pool but wasn't the end of the world. Only negative i have about ths hotel was that smoking was permitted everywhere around the outside of the hotel and I think there should have been designated Smoking areas as not very pleasant for those that don't smoke. Great beach, might be worth bringing beach shoes as can be a little stoney. Great water park for the kids too.

Loved our stay in this hotel. Staff were exceptional in every area & rooms spotless staff on 6th floor a credit to hotel. Situated on beach close to airport and a short taxi ride to main attractions.Stayed here 10th /21st March & will definitely be doing another stay next year

We had a very nice experience at this Hotel in January 2024. The room was clean and spacious and the reception staff was very kind. We had all inclusive package and we can say that the food was delicious and the portions were large. The fact that the lunch and dinner were at the Boston Bar was amazing. The staff there was very kind and we thank them for that. We definitely recommend this Hotel for your next trip to Dubai. It's a bit far from the city center, but all the services offered here make up for it.

Had a great stay here last week the staff were extremely helpful and provided a fantastic service, Sandiya on the front desk was very helpful with sorting out our rooms as well as allowing us to use her account on Careem for travel around the city. Overall we had an amazing stay, the bar, the food, the breakfast, the staff they were all amazing. Thank you for making stay in Dubai a memorable one and would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.

My stay at Jumeira Rotana was not a pleasant one… The room was well overdue a renovation, very old standard, bad air quality, only one electrical socket. There was rain one day during my stay, the water poured thru the window and soaked the carpet flooring. The toilet was flushing continuously now and then, very annoying at night… There is a desk/worktop, but no chair, only a sofa. For some reason my room card stopped working almost every time I went out, even tho I kept it separate from my phone. They never managed to fix this issue… The windows had a view straight into the neighbor. Gym was very bad equipped, and honestly didn’t look like it was cleaned properly for a long long time. Some of the dumbbells had a layer of human grease on it… This hotel charges a premium price, but sadly delivers similar to a 2-star hotel. I have stayed in this area a lot for work, definitely recommend you to find something else. There is several hotel with much better standard at the same price point in this area…!

Today 10 people we went for iftar on the pool area It was good service, but low food quality, esp for beef steak , we asked the chef on the station to refill cheese cake and kunafa, he ignored us, after that I found piece of glass in the food and I asked for the manager, he came his name Mr Kashef and I informed him about the glass in the food the missing items on the buffet and the quality of the steak and after 1 hour while we were leaving the chef came and apologized and asked if they bring the sweets now. I told him it's too late we are leaving already it was 9 pm and I can't eat it in the elevator

Being our third vacation in Dubai, we thought we knew what to expect from this place, but the people at Wyndham Dubai Marina showed us that there are still things that can surprise us. The hotel offers many facilities, and our room was very spacious and bright, with a superb view. Everything is arranged with good taste and clean. The bed is super comfortable and the pillows are excellent. I also celebrated a birthday during my stay in this hotel and the people at the reception were super prompt, Shyam (the one who arranged everything) doing an excellent job! I warmly recommend this hotel! Bravo!

Hey Wyndham team! I want to be very honest with you, with my feedback. The points won't be deducted, but I'll give you my maximum so as not to disrupt your work, but some household tasks definitely need attention. I think you need to work more on the cleanliness of the rooms. The shower heads from above seem like they haven't been touched for years. The mirrors also have cleaning issues. In fact, in the 7 days we've stayed, you've done daily cleaning often and changed the towels, but I would greatly prefer if the duvet and pillow had protectors, it's a standard for good hotels. As for the carpets in the room, I think you've put them as accessories, either wash them more often or remove them altogether as they give a bad feeling. The breakfast is abundant and well-organized except for 2 or 3 suggestions that if accepted, I would be happy to share with you. First, the boiled eggs should be cooked with different timings and not just one type, more variety in omelets. All these points I've mentioned are constructive and not meant to be negative towards you. We thank you for your hospitality and wish you continued success.

Very good. all people very friendly. especially at the breakfast buffet and room cleaning. At reception some people have trouble giving detailed information. more skills would be suitable. otherwise very satisfied. Rooms very comfortable and new. Location is also very good. What I found very unfortunate is that the rooms with two beds are so close to each other. I was on vacation with a colleague and booked this room, but because the beds were too close together, he took another room.

The location by the marina is good, with many places easy to walk to - although note it’s at one end so a hotel in the middle of the marina would have a few more places closer by. Service was generally good - special mentions to Ahmed and Duncan for going above and beyond to be helpful. The room was a good size, kept really clean by the housekeeper who was so kind and polite. The hotel also helped to make my birthday special with balloons and a cake in the room. There are people working here who do really care about providing a good experience. The bad bits: I didn’t appreciate being kept waiting for so long to check in - the guy at the desk kept us standing there for 10 minutes then invited us to sit down while waiting. Then he forgot or ignored us and saw two other people while we were desperate to go to bed after a long journey. We paid for breakfast once and it was hectic with lots of rude and pushy guests to deal with. The pool area isn’t great. Quite small and dead atmosphere, and the chair covers are stained. The gym was very warm with an average selection of equipment - max 20kg dumbbells.

The staff was excellent, especially cleaning service, room was spacious, with balcony. Varied breakfast, and tasty, but it seems that restaurant a little small, sometimes it was difficult to find a free table. Overall, the location, service, atmosphere was super.

Everything was nice and clean and good service and possibilities at the hotel. The staff was so Nice and helpfull in all situations. Always smiling and approaching us to give support and offer to help. We where evacuated from or room during the storm in Dubai on the 16 of April. That didn’t work very well. Hard to hear the speakers in the hallway and get clear information on what was going on. All in all - we can recommend this hotel. Placed good with easy access to the metro, restaurant and amusements.

We had a great time in Dubai last week. The JA Ocean View Hotel is in front of the beach and in the heart of the Marina. We had exactly the same room we booked. ALL hotel employees were fantastic and always very helpful when needed. I put a 4 stars for the room because the bathroom would need to have some refreshment which will then make it a real 5 stars hotel room.

Excellent hotel and place to stay. Location is the ultimate thing. Its right on the shopping and restaurants street with beach about 5 min walk. All amenities in the hotel are excellent. The bets part is the drinking water bottles in the room are not chargeable and can order more if required. Food is good breakfast is well laid out with a lot of variety. Room size is good with an extra bed easily possible to put with still place to move around in the room. Tthe best part is the location and view. Each room has a balcony to sit and have cup of tea with sea view. Swimming pool also at the hotel. Water sports activities at sea very near by with a lot of cafe and restaurants to eat. All in all an excellent stay and wonderful & supportive staff. I would stay again if I plan to go to Dubai.

Breakfast was amazing too,me and my family did enjoy everything. The view from balcony was fantastic and night time views was just wow. Swimming pool and staff were so nice . One of the best hotels that I stayed in. Me and my partner stayed for his birthday and i asked them if they can put something like design in our room. And they did! We are so happy. They put roses in bed and cake! We got the best view of JBR , the services are excellent! From valet parking to reception. Miss Ross made sure we have all what we need. Definitely recommend this place. Plus it’s walking distance to everything! All u can think about.
