Had a wonderful week's stay at this hotel. Room was perfect with pool & sea view & large balcony. Only ate breakfast there which was varied and ideal. Although outside the town, taxis were readily available and only took 5 minutes into the town. The staff on reception were excellent and helpful at all times and I did not have any delays checking in or out. Would definitely return and would recommend this hotel to anyone! I have friends who come here every year and always stay in this hotel too.

I recently had an all inclusive holiday here and I have to say it was a great experience! Although certain things were premium, there was plenty on the free menu for us to enjoy bar staff were always welcoming and polite. One thing I would say is the food in the buffet was sometimes Lukewarm but the variety of food was vast - considering the different nationalities they were catering for, they did an amazing job! The hotel lobby was modern and very clean as was much of the hotel. One minor complaint was the inside bar, the furniture looked tired and was often stained; the space was quite small with many people not being able to sit in and enjoy the evening entertainment. The entertainment was varied and each night there was something different, the entertainment team do an amazing job at keeping the children and adults occupied and happy, speaking multiple languages to make everyone feel special and welcome. The rooms were generally clean but I felt the bathroom could do with a bit of extra care, the shower-head had a build of limescale and I noticed bits on the tiles and the sink vanity, other than that, the room was cleaned every day and the team seemed on top of everything. The hotel has one main pool and a children’s pool. Backing straight into the beach, its location was perfect for enjoying the sea and the pool. It is in approximately 25 minute walk into Nerja but it’s a pleasant walk along the beach. Overall, I really enjoyed this holiday and managed to fully relax thanks to the amazing staff and setting!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Paid extra for a sea view room and loved it! Buffet pretty descent. Staff friendly. If you don't have the full all inclusive, at dinner, there are no free drinks included, not even water, so take your own with you if you don't want to be charged. Massage at the spa was very basic and definitely not worth the money. Spa hottub & hot stones were cold so only ended up going once. Beds are acceptable but not pillow top comfort. Resort is getting dated but clean and good value. The 20 min walk into town was perfect for us!

Rooms are adequate with most things you need. Shower over bath a bit outdated now and a struggle for me and hubby to get in and out for shower due to mobility issues. Also quite away from Nerja centre but again if you are fit it is no problem at all and is a lovely walk. There is a bus just outside hotel which takes you in and it's only 1€ each way so no problem. Food plentiful and lots of choices. The meats were really good. Chicken and pork especially. Pool looked lovely but it was Christmas when we went so too cold for most people to go in. Lounge nice for a drink during day and evening. Entertainment was available but we never went so unable to comment on that. We were All Inclusive and the drinks had sufficient choices from 10am till late.

The Good: I’ll start with the positive—the staff. From the front desk to the bar and restaurant , the service was excellent. The team is friendly and works hard. The lobby also looks great and creates a high expectation.
The Bad: Unfortunately, that’s where the 4-star experience ends. The rooms are in a state of neglect. We found mold in the bathroom, stains on the flooring, and cracks in the walls. It feels like no maintenance has been done in decades.
The Food: We booked All-Inclusive but were very disappointed with the food quality. We eventually gave up on the main buffet and ate pizza and chips every night just to have something edible.
Verdict: If you are expecting a true 4-star experience, look elsewhere. This is a 2-star hotel with a 4-star lobby. It needs a total overhaul before it can justify its current rating.

Quite nice hotel.. sea facing with wonderful views and peaceful.. breakfast was so good! there is a sunset view point nearby which is also great for sunrise! Also you can see the point where river Chillar meet the ocean and a very long walking path along the way which has gardens side by! Nerja itself is so beautiful ❤️

This review is for the annex hotel Perla Marina with the rooftop pool. The hotel is spilt into two buildings across the road from one another, plus there are apartments too.
I believe this part of the hotel has been renovated.
The hotel is beachfront.
There is free road parking all around the hotel if you can get it! Alternatively there's an underground carpark directly under the hotel at €15 a day.
Our room was located to the side of the hotel overlooking the neighbouring hotels pool and was quiet no road noise. We had a double room which has two beds pushed together, a sofabed, two bedside tables, fitted wardrobe with drawers and a dressing table come tea, coffee making area but no mirror over the dresser! There is a full length mirror though.
The bathroom has a mirror above the sink with a makeup mirror. The bathroom is a good size with a shower big enough for two.
Breakfast is good with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, beans, hash browns, pastries, cake, hams, cheese and a selection of breads. Coffee, water and juices.
There are two pools, one is on the roof with pool bar which was our favourite, the views are beautiful!
Nerja on the whole is quiet I wouldn't recommend it for young families needing constant entertainment. It's a layed back and relaxing experience.

A very nice beachfront hotel with two buildings, offering underground parking and a ground-level restaurant. Breakfasts are good, service good as well. In the room we had fridge, safe, kettle. Huge bathroom which does make sense for beach hotel. It also has 2 pools - one per each building. For the beach I'd recommend a beach shoes because of a stones nearby and in the water. Walking distance to the city center. Plenty of other restaurants and bars around.

It's a solid 8 out of 10. The hotel is very decent for the price. Rooms are spacious and clean. The rooftop pool is nice, although not heated, so quite cold outside of the summer.
The breakfast buffet is decent, nothing too special but good quality of food and quite a wide selection.

I expected a higher level of service from a four-star hotel. When I ordered a lemonade, I was served a bottled Sprite without clarification. That in itself is not a major issue — what was disappointing was the complete lack of interest when I politely tried to explain the misunderstanding.
Attention to detail and responsiveness to guest feedback are what distinguish good hotels from average ones. Unfortunately, this small interaction suggested a lack of both.
Not a disaster, but not the standard I associate with this category of hotel.
Things to do on Nerja holidays
At the heart of Nerja is the astounding Balcon de Europa which is a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff and formerly the site of a grand Moorish castle. Once there, spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding area captivate you and make for memorable photographs. At lower level, Nerja is fantastic for its small coves and beaches against a backdrop of mountains awash with wildlife. Plenty of watersport activities are found here to help you while away the hours basking in the sun’s rays, so you can do as much or as little as you like on your Nerja holiday. Restaurants, bars and café’s are perfect for that Spanish cuisine accompanied by fine wine along with the everyday typical Brit dishes loved by all.
The history of Nerja is evident in its many wonderful monuments and architecture. Take the 17th century ‘Church of El Salvador’ for example. This fine display is a mix of baroque and Moorish and easily attracts throngs of tourists. Then again, why not visit the stunning gardens of Capistrano Playa that descend to Burriana Beach. Or for a real flavour of natural and unspoilt views head to the magnificent caves close to the town centre. Here, archaeological delights such as paintings and many more items are housed dating back to pre-historic times. All in all, Nerja holidays provide a fascinating wealth of things to see and do so come and discover this enchanting resort.
