The room is big. But the trash can is small and 1 pc. There are no air conditioners at all (ventilation can be said not to work). No air changes in the toilet, all "aromas" remain indoors. The cleaning of the rooms is at a low level - they change the towels and clean out the only trash that has been in the house for a week - the dust hasn't been swept, the floors haven't been washed, even though we left a sign on the door. Dust under the beds, it feels like it hasn't been cleaned for months (shoes had slipped underneath)

Nice friendly staff. Hotel is a bit dated and could do with a spruce up although cleaners kept your room and the hotel very clean and tidy.
If going again I would go B&B as the food wasn't the best.
Quiet area not too far from the beach, train station just behind hotel ( electric so very quiet ) so easy access up and down the coast. Found a few Brits staying there but seemed mainly Dutch and Spanish.
All in all, if you want a relatively quiet place and not expensive, I would recommend.

Just back from a week here and thought the hotel was v.nice. my room was spacious with a great view - cleaning lady was great wanted to clean every day ! People seemed to b cleaning all over. - breakfast more than adequate- didn't eat at night. Reception friendly hotel set in nice grounds. Children's pool was closed for work but adult one was fine. Hotel is right outside the train station but you don't hear anything. Yes the hotel is up a bit of a hill but only for 5mins- v close to beach and shops. Would go again.

I’ve recently returned from another great 10 day holiday at the Hotel Torreblanca. Everything is still fantastic and I can’t wait to return in October.
For me, the location is just right, at the eastern side of Fuengirola in a lovely quiet area. It is right next to the Torreblanca train station. A very short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops.
If you are travelling by car, then there is an open air carpark which is free. You pay a refundable deposit for the card that opens the barrier.
I was lucky to be allocated a room with a frontal view of the sea, it was great. The rooms are spotless, very modern and spacious with plenty of storage space. Mini fridge, safe and good wifi are included in the price.
The food is still good with plenty of variety from an international menu.
The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Even though a lot of guests are all inclusive, as I was, I never waited longer than a couple of minutes to be served with a smile.
The pools and gardens are just fantastic with plenty of sun loungers and space, especially at the lower pool and garden area.
The management and staff are the most dedicated, efficient, helpful and friendly team I have come across in all of my years of travel. I thank them sincerely for providing me with another wonderful holiday. Stewart M

Just back from a week in this hotel and it worked very well. We flew into Malaga airport and there is a local train line, the C-1, which takes you right from the airport to about 100 metres from the hotel in around 30 minutes.
We went all-inclusive, and the food was good, particularly at the price point, we've paid a lot more for an all-inclusive hotel in the past, and in some ways the food in this hotel was better. A highlight of the meals was the seafood, particularly the fish. We had tuna steak, swordfish steak, squid, mussels and mackerel, to name but a few of them. The meat wasn't quite to the same standard, and desserts were rarely to my taste, with a lot of sponge cakes.
Possibly the most frustrating thing about the meals was that you had to queue for drinks at lunch and dinner. I can understand it with alcohol and juices, particularly when everyone was not all-inclusive, but I can't understand why they couldn't have a water-cooler so people can help themselves, as we've had elsewhere.
The rooms were very good, well-appointed, with good cleaning and included a free electronic safe, which we've had to pay extra for in the past. Balconies were all sea-facing, but overlooked each other, so weren't private. Our room over-looked a large bull statue on a nearby hill.
The biggest draw-back was probably the entertainment. It's hard to please everyone, and the singers were good, with a flamenco show one evening which was very good, but a lot of it didn't hit the spot. Singers didn't start until 10 and background music could be turned up very loud, making conversation difficult. A bingo session disintegrated, with a lot of people unsure what was happening. The main issue was that there was only the one space to drink / socialise in the evening. It would have been good to sit somewhere quiet and chat if the entertainment didn't appeal, but we didn't find anywhere we could do that.
Staff were very good all week. They were attentive, friendly, and cheerful. They organised a taxi for us in the middle of the night for an early flight, and got to know our preferences for drinks etc.
The hotel was reasonably busy, but we never had a problem getting a sunbed. There were two pools and a grass area with sunbeds. We would go out in the morning, back for a late lunch, and then go outside to get some sun and there was always space for us.
