Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds Comfortable pillows, Plenty of them. Very hilly location. €18 per night to park a car but free to blue badge holders. Check-in was quick and efficient. The bar is very expensive! The dining room is very noisy. The food is okay, plenty of it, but by the time you found everything you need and get to eat your food, the air-conditioning has made it cold. All in all a very nice hotel and we would go back.

We’ve had a lovely stay here myself my partner and our four children. Everyone was very pleasant cheerful and helpful. Hotel very clean rooms well cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding if needed. Entertainment for the children was amazing a lot of engagement. Stayed here on a lads holiday- room quality was good however there was some mould in the bathroom. We were staying on the first floor which meant our balcony was over a roof and we didn’t have much of a view. This was a letdown. The cleaners were really nice and offered to clean every day. Pool is excellent however the food at the bar is just frozen supermarket stuff. Overall this hotel is great value and far better than other venues in Benidorm

Rooms were basic but clean. Breakfast had lots of variety and is served until 10am. The sun beds and pool don’t open until 10am so you need to queue from around 9.45 but there was plenty of beds. There is a free bus every 20minutes to take you down to the beach as the hotel is up a hill. I liked being away from the strip and taxi was €5-7 back. The Club sandwich was lovely at the pool bar and rose wine was really nice and cheap (€3.50) overall it was a good experience.

1st day in hotel. so far bitterly disappointed and gutted i picked it for my 1st abroad holiday for my two boys solo. Boogie on wall in the room. Black mould on ceiling tile from leaking AC pipe. Free toenail on floor. Evening meal rubbish. Narrow corridors. Tiny lifts. Steep hill to travel up and down. No drinks expect tap water included even with full board. Told eve meal was at 7pm...wasn't.(1930) Nice entrance and pool area but I would advise booking somewhere else. Sorry.

Great holiday. Staff were nice. Rooms nice and clean, fresh towels and bedding everyday. Entertainment was good. Pool was good although small never really a problem plenty of room for us with our floats. Loved the games around the pool and the aqua dance in the pool. Food was good, each evening is a different selection so some evenings we didn't like the seafood options but out of 7 days there was only 2 evenings where we didn't eat much. Jacket potato's were amazing! Night life good, nice bars that are family friendly with good shows and tributes on. Fab holiday very happy but sad to leave!

Food first class Cleanliness very good. Rooms could do with a wee tidy Marks on bedroom wall. Bathroom door didn't shut and air conditioning wasn't very good in our room. Staff all friendly and very helpful. Location great. If 3 people were sharing I would recommend upgrading to a superior room as they are a lot bigger. But overall great hotel. Would come back here.

Nice hotel, plenty of sun beds. Pool opens at 10 so no early rising to save a bed. Rooms nice and clean. Lifts can be slow at busy times. Thought it odd that you have a token to get a cup from the pool bar for you drinks, but actually it is a good idea as there was no half drunk cups lying around. Just took empty cup to bar and they give you a drink in a clean cup. Good food selection could always find something to eat. If you are a fussy eater or someone who likes English food while in Spain then you may struggle, but we found it ok. The desserts are amazing. Location good less than 10 min walk to beach.

Reception and restaurant staff helpful, but cleaning and bar staff not up to the job. Towels and sheets changed daily, but the same pubic hairs from other guests remained in place all week. Dust never got cleaned the whole time. Shower and sink never cleaned either. Air conditioning was poor. Bar staff were rude and grumpy, slamming drinks on the counter, no order to serving, 7 to 8 people that arrived at the bar after you would be served first. They would get very annoyed if you asked for no ice. One day a man got so drunk he walked into the pool area where there was lots of young children, his shorts fell down and it was clear he had pooped himself. The staff weren't interested in dealing with him. After he left where he had been seated the seats weren't disinfected. Other guests drinking in the pool. Lots of debris in the pool. The communal toilets were quite often blocked and had excrement smeared over the seats and remained like that for most of the day even though we had made the staff aware. Food in the restaurant was very repetitive with a lot of fish. Not enough detail about what each product was. Quite often leftovers made to make other dishes. The food was very bland. By the way, if I get a generic response asking me to contact you with more details to discuss, I think everything you need is in this review.

Was a little bit unsure after reading negative reviews and also my husband booked this after staying there for a boy's weekend away, so not sure what to expect. The food was excellent, really good choice every day. Staff really friendly and helpful. The coin system the hotel uses for outdoor drinks is a really good Idea as you are not seeing glasses left by beds or on tables. Also the lifts somebody mentioned I think really works well as you are not waiting for lifts going to all floors . My only negative is I think the hotel is slightly dated but everything else makes up for that . If I stay in this area again I would definitely stay again and I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic hotel the rooms were very clean and well maintained the staff were all friendly the pool area was great only issue was there weren't enough umbrellas for all the sunbeds but that didnt cause many issues everyone just got on with it. The bars were all fantastic and again had really friendly staff working. The food was fabulous everything from breakfast to the evening meal was really nice with lots of different dishes every day there was something different. We had a lovely time here and we will definitely be returning again next year.

The hotel was lovely, it was clean, staff were friendly and attentive, the only issue I had was the view. We were on the second floor and our view was the car park. This was a little disappointing but it hasn’t put us off going back, we will just make sure we ask for a better view. There was entertainment on every night. The food was great, I would say that although there was a lot of choice, there wasn’t much choice for kids during the evening meal.

Fantastic hotel with beautiful food. Very very clean in fact it was Spotless. Beds so comfy rooms are a bit of luxury. Plenty of sunbeds available. Very central location we had a room at the back so no pool view which actually turned out to be a lot better and would prefer that side next time. Bar downstairs is very cool. Absolutely loved this hotel definitely worth 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Second visit and didnt disappoint. The rooms are immaculate with lovely decor and comfy bed. Last year we also spent a few evenings in the bar below the hotel. The only criticism is that this year they kept constantly ringing the bell behind the bar, which didn't happen very much the previous year. It was too loud and became really tiresome after a while, to the point we ended up leaving and going somewhere else for a drink! It just spoilt us having a relaxed time, listening to the tribute bands. It was very intrusive and unnecessary.

Great hotel, right on The Strip but rooms are soundproofed - once the balcony door closed, we heard absolutely nothing from outside! The only issue we had was a struggle to get the room air conditioning to work consistently but not enough of a bother for us to complain. The food was amazing, really enjoyed our breakfasts & evening meals, empty plates every time & staff were great!

It can be noisy at night but I suppose if you're not looking for somewhere lively, you would be better in the old town. The rooms have a safe, fridge, hairdryer, kettle. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was superb. The staff were friendly. The food was excellent. I am normally hard to find food I like on A.I. but I had no problems here. We were in an adapted room, which was great. Minor gripe. A pity the adapted rooms didn't have patio doors to pool.

What a hotel right in the heart of the new Town 2 min walk to the strip, 5 min to Levante beach you pay a little more for a pool view but sun all day and quiet at night if your nosy then the Street side is for u but found you can still here background noise even with the door closed hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean can have your room cleaned every day if u want. People queue up for the sunbeds and it's hilarious when security takes the towels off and you can pick them up from reception pool has a gentle slope so no stairs Great if you are in a wheelchair or have mobility problems fantastic hotel

Phenomenal Solo Stay at Hotel Presidente: Prime Location, Peaceful Retreat & Beach Proximity! Hotel Presidente in Benidorm delivered an exceptional solo experience. The staff's warmth and professionalism made me feel instantly welcome. My room was a spacious and tranquil escape, impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, a true sanctuary. The modern bathroom, with its invigorating overhead shower, was a luxurious treat. Dining was a pleasure, with a diverse and delicious array of options for breakfast, lunch, and tea. The staff's attentive service made dining solo comfortable and enjoyable. The location is unbeatable, right on the main strip, putting me in the heart of Benidorm's vibrant atmosphere, with countless bars and lively day-and-night activity. However, remarkably, my room remained a peaceful haven. I was impressed by the excellent soundproofing; despite the bustling surroundings, I experienced no noise disturbances, ensuring a restful sleep. Plus, I was thrilled to discover it's only a stone's throw from the beach, perfect for spontaneous seaside strolls. And the convenience of being so close to the market (on Wednesdays and Sundays!) was an unexpected bonus, allowing me to explore local treasures with ease. ⭐️⭐️ – Disappointing Stay at Hotel Presidente (Benidorm) After an incredible 5-star experience at Meliá last year, we were really looking forward to our holiday in Benidorm. We wanted a change .. however, unfortunately, Hotel Presidente was a huge letdown in comparison. In majority the staff were rude and unaccommodating. The hotel uses a flimsy slip of paper as your restaurant pass – it looks like a receipt and is very easy to misplace. Without it, you’re refused entry to the restaurant. I suffer from hypoglycaemia (Hyperinsulinism), and on one occasion, this nearly caused me to have a hypo, which is incredibly serious. To make matters worse, we lost two close family members, one 5 with a phone call 5 minutes into our holiday – I lost my nan on Thursday, and my fiancé Buzz lost his dad on Sunday as soon as we arrived. Understandably, we weren’t in the best state of mind, and something as simple as a lost slip of paper became a real problem. The system with this really needs to be looked into. On our last night, I wanted to take a plate of food to my room because I was upset, emotionally exhausted, and experiencing low sugar levels – and I was spoken to so disrespectfully by a member of staff. It was unnecessary and hurtful and had me in tears. The food overall was disappointing (breakfast being the exception), and the full board options felt very limited. One of the worst moments came when I accidentally fell into the children’s pool while with my two nephews. Even though their parents and my own were present and watching, a security guard accused me of being drunk and implied I was incapable of looking after them. I was absolutely not drunk, and this really upset me. It felt like an unfair and humiliating judgment. The lift system is also extremely frustrating and slow, which added to the daily stress. On a positive note, the outside bartender (sorry don’t remember his name) and the gentleman on the front door were absolutely lovely (Sunday 1st June at around 6pm) – they were the highlight of our stay and deserve recognition for their kindness and professionalism. They didn’t know what we were going through and made us smile and laugh and greeted us with humour and joy daily. The hotel’s location is great, and breakfast was genuinely enjoyable. However, everything else fell far below expectations. We won’t be returning unfortunately.

My stay at the accommodation was acceptable — the place is decent, although it clearly needs renovation. I would have given it 3 stars if it weren’t for what happened after I left. I accidentally left behind a gold necklace that belonged to my late grandmother, which held great sentimental value. I called the person in charge and asked her to check with the cleaning staff, but I was told it “didn’t turn up.” Unfortunately, the necklace was never returned. What’s most upsetting is not just the loss of the item, but the lack of honesty and empathy shown. It’s truly disappointing, and I feel it’s important that other guests are aware of this experience.

A wonderful place to stay with stunning views and peaceful neighbourhood. If one is touring spain and anywhere on the east coast they need to visit Altea and stay at Pierre Vacances! Best property by the sea. Wonderful restaurants and a beach facing shack right outside. We visited on the Spain Black Day and it was even more serene with little lights and only the sound of the waves to break the silence. The apartment is very comfortable with both heating and cooling options. Great balcony and wonderful view. Very clean and spacious apt. Complete value for money.

Please notice that 70 m2 apartments are nice looking in the photos BUT SMELL ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND UNHEALTHY (building 7 seven 1st apartment floor apt. 306). It 200 meters away from the main building which is the one presented in the photos. They are renovated to a very old building which smells absolutely horrible. Untolerable. ’Service’ is 0 stars at it is non-existing. First the receptionist said she ”cannot make an upgrade” when I offered money to her, us to stay in the main building. THEN she said ”You need to call to where you booked it from” even though I booked from Pierre & Vacances own website!! After calling for 15 minutes to UK she walks outside to say she has talked to a superior and could change our apartment. Where was this half an hour earlier? That ’superior’ apartment had a very strong perfume odour from cleaning products. Not good at all. Still, the ’service’ was the worst. She was the lousiest receptionist I have ever met, with the experience from dozens of accommodations in around 30 countries. First she said TWICE I need to make the call myself. THEN she starts acting like ”she couldn’t say it as I had been upset” about she forcing me to call from Spain to UK with a Finnish mobile phone number (which probably cost me another 50-100 euros as I tried to call for the 3rd time to get my money back - didn’t succeed, only got directions how to make a complaint online). However it was clear it was not worthwhile to ruin my special holiday by staying. Stay instead anywhere else than here.

Apartment was nice had dishwasher and washing machine as well as normal facilities no kettle tho but used saucepan. It was quite spacious with a nice view. A few nice restaurants nearby but supermarket up steep hill and no transport nearby. Not really anything to do in this area so had to get cabs to get out.

We booked this hotel for a family vacation and were pleased to find a 4-star hotel located away from the noisy party areas near the beaches. We assumed this would provide a quiet environment and a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, we were mistaken. First, it’s important to note that the hotel is situated directly above a major bus terminal. This wouldn’t be such an issue if the hotel had double-glazed windows, but it doesn’t. As a result, the loud sounds of bus engines became the constant background noise whenever we tried to sleep. Even closing the windows properly was difficult, as they are, like much of the hotel, quite old. We also believed that booking a 4-star hotel outside the city center would help keep away party groups and rowdy guests. Sadly, this was not the case. The hotel was full of such groups, and the staff didn’t make much effort to separate them from families. The hallways have terrible acoustics, and the doors close with a loud slamming mechanism. Any late-night conversations or door slams echoed throughout the hotel, waking us up repeatedly. Over our eight-night stay, we didn’t have a single uninterrupted night’s sleep. Even if you manage to fall asleep, the beds are not true beds. They’re thin platforms with legs and a mattress on top. Because the legs are so narrow and the furniture is poorly maintained, the entire bed shakes whenever you turn over. When we raised this issue, housekeeping simply provided sticky pads to put under the legs. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, be aware that you’ll struggle to find protein during your stay. We booked a full-board package, but nearly 90% of the dishes included meat or fish. Although the kitchen sometimes added vegetarian options, none of the dishes were labeled, so it was impossible to tell which items were suitable for vegetarians. Another issue was the policy on drinks. Even with full-board, you have to pay for drinks at lunch and dinner. They wouldn’t even serve tap water, which we found absolutely unreasonable. On a positive note, the hotel was clean, the pool was nice (as long as they weren’t blasting loud club music for hours on end—which seems to be a weekend habit), and the dining room staff was friendly. The hotel also offers free parking, and there’s plenty of space and easy access. Overall, the hotel is in desperate need of a complete renovation and furniture upgrade. If you’re a light sleeper, this place could truly drive you crazy. I would strongly advise against it for families or anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Good value for money. It's located right beside the bus station. Nice and quiet away from all the action. The 20-30min walk to the oldtown/beach is downhill, so it's not too much of an issue. The room and bathroom were a great size. The pool/gym facilities were good too. They were very quiet in the morningtime.

Stayed for 4 nights in March 2025 (room 307) and really enjoyed it. Friendly reception staff and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. The hotel is right above the bus station so getting there from the airport was incredibly easy. Walking distance to all the sights. The room had everything we needed and a comfortable large bed. Good quality basic breakfast option available for 10 Euros. The gym could do with some improved equipment. Brilliant value for money!

We booked this hotel as we were going to a party in La Nucia, and the hotel was in close proximity and an easy place for pick up and drop off. The staff were welcoming and friendly both at the check-in desk and the cafeteria. The rooms were a nice size and generally quite clean. There were just a few things that could've been improved (smears on glass in bathroom and bedroom, a used chewing gum that was stuck on the side of the wardrobe and a clothes sticker on the bathroom counter).

- Very handy location, next to Benidorm Intermodal and the bus station, which made getting to and from the airport as well as day trip to Denia very easy and convenient. About a fifteen- twenty minute stroll to the beach, the main 'strip' and twenty five minute or so stroll to the lovely Old town. - Rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious. Just remember to bring a travel kettle if you like a brew. No English TV channels but not a problem as encouraged me to dive into a book. - Breakfast was ten euros a head and offered good continental and cooked options. Good value for the price. - Staff were helpful, smart and friendly. Let us check in an hour early which was much appreciated. - Only minor area for improvement is the gym which is a bit dated. - Overall I really enjoyed it here and would return for another little city break.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Despite some of the online reviews, I personally found everything at this hotel to be truly great. The hotel was very clean, the food was delicious, and overall, it’s a fantastic place for families with children — every evening there’s entertainment for the little ones, followed by shows for adults. The staff was very friendly, understanding, and helpful whenever needed. And I have to mention the view from our room — it was simply breathtaking, we were left speechless! Honestly, everything was amazing. The hotel offers everything you might need, and if you go outside, the beach is just a 10-minute walk away — or even 7 minutes if you use Google Maps. There are plenty of shops and restaurants all around. This hotel really has it all. I also want to say a special thank you to Melissa and her Guest Experience team for helping me organize a surprise for my wife’s birthday — cake, flowers etc, everything was arranged in advance over the phone before we even arrived, and they handled it all with such care and attention to detail. Thank you again, Gran Bali Hotel, for a truly beautiful stay. We will definitely come back, because we’ve been left with such wonderful memories. Damian.

Absolutely love this hotel, 3 times I have stayed here and have always been made to feel welcome! My kids also enjoyed being here, the staff are very friendly any problems they sort prompt and quickly! Very child friendly, great entertainment everyday! LOVE that the pool is emptied, cleaned every night. Food is great to. If you want a kettle etc on request they bring straight to your room! I will be returning again 🙂 great view of the 3 pools! 43 floors, fantastic view.

Overall a Very satisfactory and pleasant experience at this hotel. At first arrival the size and architecture of the hotel is amazing and really looks premium compared to other surrounding hotels in the area. Went for a lads holiday and really didn’t expect much but the hotel really delivered a good experience for us. The bartenders were friendly, lifeguards very nice and helpful and there was plenty of nice guests at the hotel. The rooms were satisfactory. Decent bed with very nice air conditioning and a good balcony which demonstrates a very nice view of the place, Cleaners were very efficient and friendly too. Facilities were Ok, The shower was decent but would either be really cold or too hot but it is not the biggest issue. Was provided a lot of toiletries and the facilities in general did not lack anything. The pool however was amazing and delivered a very good experience to my holiday The location is also quite good. Even though it’s far from ‘the strip’ it avoids the hectic nature of it. It’s a good place to relax. Taxi to the Benidorm strip is around €12 which isn’t bad at all. Views are fantastic and not much reason to complain really Overall- I would recommend to anyone looking for a more premium hotel for Benidorm

I was a bit apprehensive coming here after reading the reviews, however I must say I was overly impressed. The entrance & reception area is modern, the pools are great and the main one is heated, the staff were friendly and helped as much as possible. I do tend to agree that the rooms could do with updating however they were very clean and the bathroom was big and had a bath and shower, the beds were also big and comfortable. The view on the 43rd floor on the sky terrace is absolutely stunning and great views, it was 3 Euros but you get a free drink at the island bar by the pool. With regards to the food, I must say again I was a bit apprehensive reading reviews, however it did have taste and there is so much choice and have 2 restaurants to choose from, I didn't particularly enjoy the cooked breakfast offering so had pastries and toast. Overall the food was fine. I have however only given this 4/5 because on the last night there was a massive group of school kids which checked in and was being loud throughout the night into early hours, other than that a very pleasant stay. Bus stop is 1.60 Euros each trip and is 1 min walk round the corner from hotel and takes about 10 to get to the old town. Please note this hotel would not be ideal if you're looking for a hotel full of English with English entertainment then your best option is the New Town in Benidorm, other than that the hotel was mainly Spanish, however we didn't mind as it was quite nice to be in the quieter side of Benidorm. Would go back and recommend.

Visited this hotel 3 times and enjoyed every stay. Stayed on the 4th, 12th and 23rd floor and seen some beautiful views. Also paid extra and visited the sky bar waw what an experience even better views from 43 storys high!! The hotel is 4 star with 3 great size pools plus 1 jacuzzi pool. Only ever tried the food at breakfast as ive only ever stayed b&b. ■The rooms are clean, spacious and modern ■ Bus stop outside the hotel ■ 5-10 min walk to the beach, mini golf, restaurants along the beachfront etc. ■There's restaurants, pubs, pharmacy and supermarket all within walking distance of the hotel. ■ It's a 20min drive to the strip but perfect If you don't mind staying out of the town as you can always taxi or bus it like we did. ■ Tallest building in Europe!!! ■ Outside lift that overlooks benidorm (cracking views) also has inside lifts with no view ■ x2 Pool bars ■ Entertianment in the nights outside by the main bar ■ Games room by pool

Will never go back. Arrived @ 3am and the receptionist barked at my partner when he had already responded to me, another receptionist was extremely rude when we tried to ask for something. The rooms are standard, when we arrived the fridge was old with stains all around it, the door handle in the bathroom came off (however was fixed very quickly by a very polite maintenance man ☺️) and the shower head needed cleaning. The location isn't the best a good 20 minute walk to the beach and the nearest shops (I walk regularly and this was strange for a hotel location). The restaurant staff are pleasant and the spa staff are lovely.

We stayed at this hotel only for 1 night , it’s on a hill which is a bit of a walk , hotel gardens and pool area nice , you can’t leave your towels on sunbeds for more than 15 minutes and go off otherwise they are taken off , the staff were helpful and friendly , the room was clean beds comfortable, Negatives the air con was useless hardly anything coming out , window curtains hanging off , breakfast not brilliant. No tea or coffee in rooms All in all we wouldn’t class this hotel as a 4 star and wouldn’t want to stay here for a week ( just our opinion) the odd night would be ok

Just got back from Sun Palace and whilst the hotel is spotlessly clean (bonus) it is lacking in many areas! The hotel is up quite a steep hill which we already knew after reading reviews. However, we were not told in advance that the bus transfers wouldn't drop us at the hotel due to roadworks on the hill. Trying to drag the heavy suitcases up the hill was a killer! They do seem to have cleared the road works now as we did get picked up outside. The hotel is advertised with a roof top terrace boasting 360° views of Albir.. we went up to the terrace on our first night at 10pm to find signs saying it's open 10am-8pm. Went back up there at 10.30am next morning and still closed, so we didn't bother attempting to go up again as it never seemed open and it's such a shame there is no bar up there for evening drinks to watch the sunset! Gym is very basic with extremely old equipment, my partner pulled a muscle in his neck using the rower due to the damaged cable. We had breakfast and dinner included - food is ok, just what you expect at hotel inclusive meals. They do allow you to change dinner to lunch with a day's notice. Water, juice and hot drinks included for breakfast, but not even cold water offered at lunch/dinner.. any drinks has to be purchased. I think they are making money in the wrong areas. It wouldn't hurt to have the cold water tanks available all day. There is absolutely no atmosphere at this hotel, the bar/lounge areas have no music during the day and into the evening it's like walking around a ghost town, so no wonder noone sits there for a drink! We never stayed for evening entertainment as the reviews said how poor it was. Pool table also out of order for the whole stay. Rooms were very clean, and towels changed every time you chuck them in the bath for changing. But most things are wobbly and on the verge of breaking, towel rail and shower head holder in bathroom, balcony chairs about to snap and bedside lamps loose and wonky. We paid for a sea view room and unfortunately there is a gigantic palm tree obstructing the view which is an extreme shame. The views would be incredible if they just chopped down these trees. We did ask to move rooms but no avail. Poolside, nice area with pretty views, however the lack of sunbeds is very disappointing! There are around 20beds for the entire hotel and everyone scrambling for them at 9.30am which is not how you want to start off your morning. There is a huge section of fake grass with loads of rattan chairs which just need to be replaced with more sunbeds. It is definitely not a 4star hotel, needs a lot of TLC and hope the many recent negative reviews can make these changes happen! Recommendations would be to offer a free shuttle bus to get the less mobile people up and down that steep hill(if they do offer this it was never brought to our attention) Also put kettle/tea and coffee facilities in rooms Things to do: Walk to Altea along the sea front promenade takes around 40minutes one way and lovely view points up on the square. Walk from the hotel to the lighthouse approx 5km round trip, definitely worth it.

Never felt so unwelcome from the moment I've walked into a hotel! The reception staff in particular were blunt, quite aggressive in their tones and probably some of the most unhelpful hospitality staff I've ever encountered. I wanted to change room the first night which took all day for them to know which rooms were available apparently. They also wanted to argue about my choice to change room even though I said I'd pay. When I left my sunbed for like 5 minutes the lady on reception tried to move my stuff because they can't be reserved. Which is fine but other people were literally leaving their stuff all day there... The restaurant is depressing, food is not nice and once they run out they don't replenish so if you don't get there quick there's not much left. One of the coffee machines in particular tasted like mud perhaps needing a good clean. The juice in the morning juice tasted like water. Then to top it all off the reception staff refused to even ask the minibus driver if they could drop us down the road for our transfer, saying they didn't stop there even though the minibus went right past it and stopped there before on one of my journeys. I accidentally left a pair of shoes and my adaptor in the room when I checked out and our flight wasn't till later. When I asked for it I was told nothing was handed in, they let me use their adaptor but wouldn't let me keep it even though mine was taken and my phone nearly died before I got to the airport and had to buy another one. It may come as a suprise that I will never be returning. The views are the best bit about Sun Palace. Everything else was very disappointing.

Our 2nd year staying at the Avienda Hotel. I really enjoy the hotel. It's location on the edge of the Old Town and so close to the beach is brilliant. All of the staff are helpful, friendly, and polite. Our friend who travelled with us is coeliac and her diet was carefully and considerately dealt with by the kitchen and restaurant staff. The food on offer is fresh, tasty and varied. The bar is well stocked with branded drinks. This is an excellent hotel and we will return.

The rooms were okay. Bathroom was very dated but serviceable. Shower was excellent. There are NO coffee/tea facilities in the room. No iron. Ancient fridge that literally pumped out heat so had to be turned off as the air conditioning is not switched on until the summer. You couldn't write it. We kept bottled water in the bathroom sink in cold water. The breakfast buffet was okay and we had dinner 1 night but that was quite poor and I wouldn't recommend it. The bar had a fantastic choice at really competitive prices. The bar service was exceptional. The location is superb.

The selling points of this hotel are the location, food, and amazing staff, especially Dani, who was an absolute angel when my partner was taken ill when we stayed last week. She is a real credit to your hotel :-) The first room we had was one overlooking the internal courtyard, and although spacious, it was far too hot. The fridge in the room didn't work and was pumping out heat which acted like a radiator and along with no AC (not switched on at that time of year), made the room unbearable (especially when ill). Having said this, we changed rooms after a few nights for a small surcharge and the staff were very accommodating. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and WiFi throughout. The location of the hotel, which is centrally located in the Old Town means you often get noise at night, but hey, it's Benidorm. The food is lovely with great variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the staff are very kind and helpful. I'd definitely recommend I'd you're looking for a hotel with a great location, great staff and food.

Great hotel food exceptional lots of choise.however a bad experience in the restaurant one of the staff tell male black hair stud in his ear wish I had got his name very rude and nasty to me and my 13 year old granddaughter over where we sat .uncalled for because he had to clean the table from a previous diner.my granddaughter was very upset more because she wanted to give me a nice day because it was my birthday on that day.it is not correct to shout at a child and a senior citizen shame on him.the restaurant was very full on the breakfast meal and I would not cause a scene in front of my granddaughter or the other diners.however the hotel other staff were friendly and excellent .the accommodations were very good definitely would give it 4 stars and have recommended it to many people .also is a exceptional location .we will be booking again stayed in the hotel last year this time we stayed in rhe apartments on half board great apartment.rooms are spotless the cleaners work very hard.beach is about 3 minutes away .step out of hotel and you are in the precinct.lots and lots of shops. Tapas alley 5 minutes away .popeye restaurant down that road there is a 1 euro larger bar lots to do and see in benidorm. Never a dissapointment.

Location was excellent. The rooms are big & bright, large tv, kettle, comfy bed, spacious balcony and really powerful shower with a choice of two heads. The breakfast had a good choice of food and plenty of tables to sit at. The lifts are fast and there are five of them, one of which shows you the city and sea as it rises. The staff on reception are lovely they really know about Benidorm and they are so helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day and kept to a very high standard. I will be back.

Was expecting it to be pretty busy as it was not long before sunset, but got an outdoor seat straight away. A pint and a Sangria for 8.50€ which is just the same as many places on ground level.

Stayed for a week in August and can not recommend the hotel enough. Rooms clean and modern but a tight squeeze for 3 (my husband, myself and my son) Food was great , we had breakfast and food from the pool bar. Staff were exceptional, couldn’t help enough, friendly and efficient. Walking distance to some lovely restaurants. Lidl next door, 10 walk to the beach and the buzz. Beach is not ideal, pebbly and the water is fairly rough. My mother in law couldn’t have stood up in it, so not great for very young g or old. Recommend though we had a great holiday.

We stayed at this hotel expecting a 4-star experience, but it felt closer to 3 stars. Pros: Great location, right next to a Lidl and within walking distance of the beach. Was also good to have transport to the local beach. The hotel was generally clean, AC worked well and some staff members were very friendly. Food offered a decent variety, though vegetarian options that weren't just vegetables were very limited. The pool bar food & drinks were good quality and portions were big altough the menu didn't list the ingredients properly (e.g. Didn't say that beef burger had bacon in it). Cons: Limited taxi service, even waiting an hour for a taxi, staff with local knoweldge were not very helpful and should have advised The pool only opened at 10am, was usually crowded, and sometimes caused disputes among guests. Our room had limited storage, no bathroom shelves, and one side of the bed lacked power sockets. The balcony door didn’t lock properly and noise at night from the street and hallways made it hard to sleep. Very difficult to find clean glasses in the restaurant as most of them had stains and food stuck to them. Overall, a nice hotel but falls short of true 4-star standards.

It has been deeply disappointing and heartbreaking to experience the DISCRIMINATION we faced when trying to book a suite for our family, who have special needs. We explained clearly that, yet the hotel staff showed a complete lack of empathy and understanding. The way we were treated by the reservations team was unacceptable and inhumane. We would never recommend this place to anyone.

What a lovely hotel. Just got back home. Only stayed bed and breakfast but breakfast was top class! Staff very helpful and pleasant. Hotel was exceptionally clean. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. Lots of available sun beds with umbrellas. Don't beleive bad reviews. This hotel is excellent!

Not a bad hotel but not 4 star. The good points were the staff were very friendly and it was generally clean and modern. So, to the not so good. There is need of a bit of TLC with woodwork needing painting and some corner trims on the walls were bent, leaving very sharp exposed metals strips, which could easily cut someone, especially children. Accepting it was out of season the pool bar and entertainment were limited to weekend and even then they didn't open the pool bar and we saw one average singer. The pool itself and jucuzzi were ice cold to the point we couldn't use it. The maintenance men started working around 9 which may jot be a problem to most people, but if you wanted a lie in, it's not good. On our last day, the entire pool area was shut for a wedding for the whole afternoon, which I didn't think was acceptable. The location is about a 15 walk to the beach so isn't ideal but we are more pool people anyway. All in all I would imagine it's a lot better in peak times when everything is open and the pool may be a bit warmer.

Great hotel right on the beach. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Many food options within walking distance. If you are driving, there is no on-site parking, but there is a carpark a block or so over or you can try your luck finding street parking. We had the breakfast buffet which was great for the kiddos with many options. We got the suite with a "queen" and bunks which had a beautiful view of the beach.

This hotel has a very good location, right on the beach. There are sunbeds/umbrellas (each cost 6 €, not free), also place for towels (free). The breakfast ia basic but good, the dinner instead was very very good. On Thursday they even organize a barbeque outside - very nice experience. But the biggest asset of this hotel are the people. Kudos to every nice people from there! We felt like in a family here!

I booked this hotel as a little 4 night getaway for me and my mother-in-law and Hotel Brisa did not disappoint! We had a very early flight out and we arrived at the hotel at around 11am (which was obviously way before check in), staff were helpful and let us use the luggage room to put our cases in and we enjoyed a couple of hours at the pool. Staff updated as soon as our room was available. I booked us the frontal sea view room and there was definitely wasn't any complaints the view was beautiful and to sit on the balcony and hear the waves crashing was so relaxing. The room was very spacious, and was equipped with a kettle with selection of tea and coffee, a safe, a fridge, a hair-dryer and basic toiletries. We were half board, and the food was fab, there was lots of selections for breakfast both hot and cold. As for evening meals, there was completely different choices everyday and something to suit everyone. I also would like to make a special shoutout in this review to one of the staff members called CARLOS, he was so friendly each time we entered the dinning room he always had a smile on his face. CARLOS also made THE BEST Mojitos I have ever tasted, he went to every table each evening and let guests try it and safe to say, that was then our favourite drink the whole holiday. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay and we will definitely be back Hotel Brisa!!!

Unfriendly and unwelcoming check in on Tuesday. Breakfast discusting. Coffea not real and Nestlé. There were pee stains on the toilet from the guests before. Shower only half clean. No welcome water. They don't have normal bedsheets what covers the blanket, only a sheet what's laying loose over and under it. I expect a bit more from a 4* hotel. After telling the reception, he didn't even apologize for the inconveniences. Location, mattress and view were good :)

Helpful service, great location (although loud on Saturday evenings), delicious food, fish, meat, vegetables, seafood, etc. every day, definitely everyone will find something for themselves. In the room a kettle, fridge, plenty of storage space. Daily cleaning. Very well-kept hotel. Possibility of borrowing an iron for free. One day we had to leave the hotel before breakfast hours, so we asked at the reception for a takeaway breakfast - we were surprised when we got a whole bag of nutritious food with bread and even cutlery. I highly recommend!

I have just got back from a 7 night stay with my wife and 3 children. We really enjoyed our holiday. The location was amazing being only a 10 minute walk from the beach. The only negatives we experienced were the evening meals got repetitive after a few days, the lifts can be a nightmare, we were sometimes waiting for 10-15 minutes before we finally got a lift come. A few of the hotel staff were rude but the majority were really helpful and friendly.

We had 14 nights here in June 2025 and we have stayed in the Flamingo oasis on 3 holidays in the past. We have always found it to be clean and the staff very friendly. The rooms are of a good size and are cleaned on a daily basis. One night we were woken to the sound of water dripping rather badly it was coming out of the air conditioning. Reported it to the reception in the morning on the way out to town. On our return to our room about 2 hour's later it had all been repaired and cleaned. We were very impressed by the service. Good selection of foods in the restaurant, something for most people. No complaints and look forward to returning there in the near future. We thank you for helping to make our stay memorable.

This is a fantastic hotel. We stayed here as a family from the 25th June for 7 days. On arrival the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was always clean and staff were constantly cleaning. The restaurant had plenty of choice and a different variety of foods each day. The pool is very spacious and there are plenty of sun beds. The only negative was the lifts got quite busy meaning you had to wait on occasions. Apart from that we cannot fault the hotel we had a fantastic holiday here.

Just returned back from a 10 night stay here . Had a good family holiday. Hotel very clean. The location is not bad with a few decent bars across the street with good entertainment. The entertainment in the hotel is very basic. Some nights it’s brill others it’s rubbish. We feel some of the staff are very rude ( one from the entertainment side ) bar staff work very hard day and night. Food is ok the carvery is the best bit . Not bad choice of food.

This hotel is just beautiful, the rooms are spotless and very clean. The entertainment team Lupe and AquaGym (standing joke between us) work their socks off to keep everyone happy and entertained, they don’t get enough credit. I definitely think they need a pay rise. Good selection of drinks on the all inclusive deal. The bar staff are so friendly, I would like to give a shout out to Miguel, Jesus and Julian first class service always with a smile. (Jesus I hope you get yourself a good handbag since you loved mine so much) The maids were so nice and they made our room up everyday. Now for the negative! The food wasn’t good at all, they seem to cater a lot for the Spanish holiday makers. I know everyone has different views on the food but for us as a big family group of 10 no one of us like the food. Would I go back ABSOLUTELY but I’d so self catering.

We arrived as a party of 10 late at night and were greeted with a smile with the man on the service desk. Checked in (5 rooms total) with no issues and were told they had saved some food for us as we were late arrivals. It was a lovely touch as we'd been travelling all day and none of us had eaten. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, had good, comfy beds and a small sofa and chair. We also had a balcony with two outdoor chairs and a table. The bathroom was also nice and spacious and had a really good shower and bathtub. Facilities in the hotel were also really good. We stayed All Inclusive so we had access to three buffet meals a day, all really nice with different selections every day (breakfast had different pastries and cereals each day, plus the usual cooked breakfast options, dinner and tea had a full grill section different every day which was fantastic - great variety) There was also a snack bar out by the pool which did family friendly options like pizza and burgers. Also nice. The pool bar was good and the indoor bar was cosy. The all inclusive drinks selections weren't huge but it was enough to keep you going, including a "Cocktail Of The Day" The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I would definitely visit again The only real negative I can think of is the rooms didn't provide a kettle. Apart from this though, all was fantastic. Thank you

Hotel was clean food was okay nothing amazing but typical AI food. Reception and bar staff were lovely. Restaurant and entertainment staff bit rude. Entertainment was awful. I went with my teenage son and we were bored after the 2nd day there had 4 nights and could have easily go home on the 3rd day. Had to wake up at 6am to get a sunbed and other people will move the umberella after you have claimed it. Mostly Spanish there a few English holiday makers. Very far walk from beach says 20min but as it very hot seemed longer. But saying that it is in quieter area so felt safer there.

Do not stay here. We arrived here with family, 12 of us in total and paid for all inclusive. Food was sub standard and repetitive. The all Inclusive drinks package is awful. 1 option for a beer, and a few local spirits. They offer you an option to upgrade which was €280 extra, but there was absolutely no difference. No cocktails on the all inclusive, not many options for kids for drinks, snacks. The snack bar has the same few items everyday. There was two members of staff who were honestly brilliant. But the remainder spoke to you like your were in their way and just pure ignorant. I asked the bar staff on day 1 what difference is there if I upgraded to all inclusive + and was told to go and ask the front desk for a list, to which i was then told to check behind the bar there’s a list. Honestly no one wanted to help with anything. Entertainment for kids is horrendous, usually there is activities on for the kids around the pool however there wasn’t. The life guard wouldn’t allow any sort of inflatables in the pool for the kids. All in all, the worst experience I had in Benidorm in over 5 visits. Would never stay here again.

We stayed here 2 weeks ago, we were offered the VIP experience as part of the package. The hotel wasn’t ready as stated and they were still finishing off the VIP areas. We weren’t impressed and my wife complained to the management. I am giving them 5 stars because they upgraded my parents to VIP this week. They are staying there for 1 week and said they like the hotel a lot. I rate my stay as 3 stars but the management handled the complaint well.

Unfortunately over half our group of 41 contracted a virus during our stay. Another group of 30 also were sick. I believe other hotel guests were also sick. I felt unwell after visiting the spa. The hotel management offered Doctors and tests (results not yet available) they also offered room service for those unwell. I waited 45 minutes and 1 hour for food to arrive in the room. Otherwise the food was good, the staff and service was friendly and polite. Hotel has a great location and a great spa. The lifts are oddly configured and often had long waits at busy times.

First off we was greeted by the lovely reception staff, easy check in too. Following on was the room, huge beds, very comfy and pillows were like marshmallows. Towels were nice and soft and everywhere was nice and clean. The kitchen staff were great. I have a dairy allergy, it took one or two people to understand due to the language barrier but we did get there and they showed me everything I can and can’t eat which was absolutely brilliant! Pool was nice and big, plenty of sun beds, really can’t fault this hotel at all. Bar staff were lovely and cheerful and it really makes all the difference!

Twice I've been to this hotel and I can only say good things.. it is relatively cheaper than other hotels of a similar quality in the locality. It is a good location for both the new town and the beach. Old town is walkable within around 30-40mins. We loved the peaceful vibe of the hotel and area. Huge room, lovely big balcony and plentiful breakfast. I have stayed here all inclusive but simply due to the hotel being a little bit further out and knowing that Benidorm has plenty of selection for reasonable prices outside, I would opt for bed and breakfast. The pool was a good size and plenty of sunbeds. Staff were exceptional. Tip- local buses are a good way to see around too which stop outside the hotel regularly if you don't want to walk so far every day.

I stayed at the hotel in May, it is classified as a 4* Superior. This is the 3rd hotel I have stayed at in the last 4 weeks with this 'Superior' designation and I am at loss to understand how this one has this designation. My stay was much closer to what I would expect from a 3* hotel. Plus Points: Spacious room with bathroom with bath and separate shower. Good breakfast with plenty of choice, although poor coffee from the coffee machines and a toasters that were not functioning properly. Minus points: I had a basic level room, it was in need of refurbishment, with low quality furniture in the bedroom and a bathroom that was in need of renovation, the shower door did not close, the shower functioned badly. The room had no tea/coffee making and no fridge, the shower door did not fit, the shower was worn and difficult to use. There was a safe but to use it you had to pay extra. How is this a 4* Superior hotel? The hotel has 18 floors and 4 lifts, there can be a wait for the lift at busy times, it is situated about 1.5km from the centre of Benidorm, there are several restaurants nearby.

We never had trouble finding sun beds by the pool, and the location was ideal—close to shops, the beach, and the main strip, all within walking distance. We stayed here for 4 nights, the rooms were poorly cleaned as we had to be moved to another room, I've blonde hair, and there was black hair over the floor and in the shower and there was stuff skit up the skirting board and wall. Our window was broken and wouldn't lock. Our balcony door was broken on our 3rd night we where able to lock it up until then it looked like someone had booted it from outside as you can climb easily from one side to the other and when requested for someone to come fix it, no one was sent so my husband took pictures and went do to reception and he was told they would have no one until morning to looked at it which wasn't acceptable we hadn't had our dinner and didn't feel comfortable leaving our room with the door broken, so we were giving a new room. The hotel also doesn't cater for English people for the time of year. Food was all Spanish. Our walls were paper thin, people in the room beside may aswell of been in our bed when being intimate as their bed was bouncing off our wall making our bed move to their motion at 3am. We did enjoyed our holiday benidorm is a very nice place and we would go again, but I wouldn't say this hotel is 4*

Cleanliness of hotel is 10/10, we stayed mid Sept and the pool was quite quiet with plenty of beds around it free. The hotel is good distance walk from the new town and strip but taxis are really reasonably priced however your within walking distance to loads of shops, restaurants and bars. Would recommend this hotel however was not too fussed on the food during buffet.

I am staying in this hotel right now till saturday and I am so dissapointed. Worst hotel I ever stayed in :( It is definately not a 4* hotel…. Rooms basic… not even a tea or Coffee in the rooms… Food very dissapointing everyday same things No variety at all, No seasoned and same things every night like for kids at school…. My family are staying in hotel next door and they have a much better experience even thought its a 3* Cockroaches in the room when I arrived and in general not very clean… Wouldnt reccommwnd and wouldnt stay again for that Kind of money…

I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. The highlight, however, was the room — it had an absolutely breathtaking sea view. Waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out over the ocean every morning was simply unforgettable. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway by the sea!

I am not one to leave reviews, but after an amazing holiday at this hotel, I had too. We have just returned and will be booking again for next year. Within ten minutes of arriving, my children said the hotel was 10/10, they have now given it 100/10 and said it was the best holiday they have ever had. They have literally thought of everything, with so many little touches - The milk and cookies in the room for the kids, the mini sized slippers, the fruit and sandwiches around the pool and so much more. Breakfast was amazing - I have never seen so much choice. The food in the lobby and pool bars was also great. I am very picky about where I stay, especially when it comes to cleanliness, but the hotel was spotless. Our rooms were cleaned daily, to a very high standard. Finally, all the staff we came across were so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to return next year!

Second visit to this hotel and cannot fault it. Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms with large balconies. We had the room with kitchen and bedroom you can separate from main area. There was an extra charge if you wanted to use the kitchen if you went B&B or more we didn’t use it. Kitchen looked well equipped. Breakfast was busy but it was the start of the school holidays, if you want a quieter breakfast I would visit before 9am, breakfast was till 11am. There was a great choice of things for breakfast something for everyone. We didn’t sample lunch or dinner in there. Pool are was nice and clean, the only downside was that because it was on the first floor it got very windy around the pool area some days so were unable to put parasols up. If you wanted parasols for the beach the pool area hired these out free. Pool area wasn’t overly busy and you could always find a bed Suitopia is situated in a great place on the edge of town and next to the beach, there are lots of restaurants and shops within a minutes walk Suitopia roof bar has amazing views of the bay and great place to watch the fireworks, only downside is the seating is very uncomfortable so you wouldn’t want to spend too long there, great choice of cocktails and other drinks

Lovely hotel right on the beach front. It is situated right between the old town and the new town. The rooms are very clean and spacious with a spacious shower, too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We went bed and breakfast but what food we had was nice. Would definitely stay again.

Location is 10/10. What a lovely hotel, so clean and modern and all the staff and just so nice, will defo be coming back. We was half board and just loved eating here, we put lots of weight on as so good !! We had a side view room which was really nice. Bathroom is really big and it had a really good hair dryer . They give you x2 small bottles of water everyday. (only downside, no kettle and the fridge didn't work)

Great beachfront location with onsite parking (charged per night). Breakfast is excellent, bedrooms rooms are good - we went for sea view which I’d recommend. Checkin was very slow which was disappointing, as we were the only clients at the time!

Not a 4 star hotel. Problems from the outset when we arrived. After a long flight and travel it took us nearly 25 minutes to check in. I was then asked to sign my life away with a form that was written in Spanish and then asked ‘why I wouldn’t sign it?’. The receptionist then described what it said to me in English and then when I received a copy of it in English it said something completely different from what they described. The rooms are very basic and the carpets look like they were last replaced in the 80’s. The sunbed system is set up to create arguments - they open at 10am and it’s every man for themselves! Picture people running and jumping over themselves to get a sun bed. The service (aside from one nice lady) has been poor; you ask for a drink and they look at you like they have just asked you fly you to the moon. They are also intent on making you pay the minute you receive your drink instead of opening a tab. It feels like they think everybody is going to a runner, even though we are staying at the hotel. There’s more rules in the hotel than some schools have, it doesn’t make for a very relaxing experience. Update: waited 35 minutes to get a pint. They repeatedly refuse to serve you at the bar and then send you back to the sunbed and then ignore you. Breakfast was complete mess this morning with no tables prepared with food spread all over them and my partner was told to cover up, despite there already being multiple people sat at breakfast with similar tops on. The people next to us yesterday waited 55 minutes for a bowl of chips to arrive and it took them 25 minutes to order……

Excellent hotel. We have just returned from two weeks there. We are Scottish and there were very few Brits staying in the hotel (which can be a good thing). The other residents were mainly elderly Spanish, so the hotel was very peaceful at night (we're 50 & 51 which was great for us that there were no Stag or Hen parties staying here). We were made to feel extremely welcome and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean (no tea or coffee but that didn't bother us) and the buffet breakfast was very good with enough British choices. The downstairs bar is absolutely beautiful but the drinks were slightly pricey with smaller measures compared to nearby bars, which meant the bar was often quite quiet. All of the evening entertainment was in Spanish which was fair enough but still enjoyable. The pool areas were excellent and fairly quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location which is close to the beach and local bars and restaurants and is a short walk into the Old Town but is far enough away from The Strip so there is no hassle and we felt very safe. Highly recommended and we would happily return. Many Thanks! 💕💕💕

This hotel is worth every penny. Very modern and clean, lovely friendly staff, very welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast options are endless, with amazing views from the restaurant. Main pool area is really nice with great bar and views, direct access down to beach also. Only slight downside is limited sun beds due to high demand, but that’s expected in height of season. Really good value for money overall and location is absolutely perfect

Here at the hotel now. Honesty one of the loveliest hotels we have stayed at staff are amazing. Room is beautiful. Pool areas are a little small but if you can’t get a bed there is always the beach. Rooms cleaned everyday and usually a small gift left each evening in your room. The service and staff make this hotel. We will be back. PS our sea view from our room is stunning. Thank you

This place was perfect. Definitely gets 5 stars from us. We have just returned from a perfect holiday here. We paid for the seaview and it made the stay top notch. The room was clean, the cleaners do a fantastic job, it was spacious and it had all the nice touches you would like in a hotel of this standard. I don't think you could find a better hotel in Calpe. Great rooms - decent size, recently refurbished? Clean floor. And able to leave bikes in room Location - very central. Couldn’t be better. Overall ambience is great. Very close to five stars overall. The reason for dropping a star was food for vegetarians was limited particularly when looking for high protein options. And for dinner all drinks including water were paid for. There should be a free water option. A bit more noise travelled between rooms than normal so I could hear not particularly robust socialisation happening in the next door room. Overall I’d highly recommend.

This is a really nice hotel situated right next to the Arenal-Bol beach in Calp. The main pool area offers direct access to the beach and towels and free sunbeds surrounding the pool. The views are stunning from the pool, the bar, the lobby, the rooftop pool and the restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, the breakfast is all you can ask for and then some. The bars are great, but the buffet dinner is a bit uninspired and can be avoided. There are plenty of other dining options nearby. The service is friendly and rapid, the rooms are modern and perfectly clean, and there are bars, a supermarket and many other stores in the area. The old town is just 400 meter away.

Food and drinks were lovely - themed days for food. Sangria and mojitos on tap which were lovely. Staff welcoming and Hotel kept clean. Room was adequate but bit too small for a family of 4. Pool was small and therefore we were unable to use it for any of the week we were there. Level 9 bar chill out bar was lovely but lacking in shade - the only seats in the shade were not comfortable for longer than 1 hour. 2 lifts to accommodate the whole 8 floors of rooms was not adequate and often waiting for lifts for 5 to 10 minutes. However wonderful sea views and access to the beach within 2 min walk.

I really enjoyed my stay at Villa del Mar Hotel. The property was clean and the room service was amazing. The staff really friendly and always ready to help. The food and drinks were really good and we all loved it. My little boys loved the pool area and the playing ground and having the beach just steps away was amazing. Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return if I visit Benidorm again.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Villa del Mar Hotel. The cleanliness of the property and the friendliness of the staff really stood out, and for the price I paid, the value was excellent. While the pool area was a bit on the smaller side and there weren’t many sun loungers, the rooftop bar provided a great spot to unwind, and having the beach just steps away made up for it. The food wasn’t anything spectacular, but considering it was an all-inclusive buffet, it was perfectly adequate. Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return if I visit Benidorm again.

Positives : 1. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach. 2. The staff were friendly 3. You got a free welcome pack in the fridge in your room. Negatives 1. Not enough sun beds/ swimming pool is very small 2. Limited food and tasted very salty 3. The lifts constantly out of service and the hotel only has two small ones in which can only hold 4 people. 4. Can not eat by the pool and only snacks they have at the pool bar was crisps and pea nuts 5. The alcoholic drinks were very over done to the point the bar tender was putting half a cup of vodka in the drink every drinks we asked for. It’s too strong. You need better measurements for your drinks. 6. The air conditioning made me and my daughter sick. We both have sore throats and runny noses. Even after our holiday we are stuck in bed. We know it was the it conditioning because every time we put it on we would start to feel ill On this note we won’t be coming back to this hotel unfortunately as we did not find it up to the standard’s with the amount of money we paid. This hotel is more like a 3 star hotel

The hotel staff were all helpful and friendly. The night porter appeared rude. The roof top terrace had ripped fabric on the seats. The swimming pool area is at the back of the hotel so you just have a view of the back of the hotel. There wasn't enough sunbeds at the hotel. The food was all presented well but not to our taste. Unfortunately we had Internet connection problems due to the hotels upgrading the system. Snacks available during the day are limited and often the snack food seemed stale as it was in a chiller. You pay for the location, which was excellent however we were disappointed for the money we paid to go all inclusive. We won't be staying there again.

What an amazing hotel and service experience at the H10 Porto Poniente - we're still here on our holiday but I wanted to post this as the experience is 10/10 Hotel room and cleanliness- exceptional Service and friendless of the staff here - exceptional Roof top pool and bar - amazing views and awesome pool. I haven't got the bar and restaurant teams names just yet; but too many to mention on how wonderful this experience is. This is the first trip for me and my partner since having our little girl, and I'd highly recommend this hotel for families, couples and solo travellers. Well done H10 - another amazing experience. We stayed at this hotel for three days, and as soon as we arrived, the staff was able to resolve an unexpected issue in the shortest time possible. The staff was very kind and helpful at all times. The rooms were well-equipped and very clean. The hotel's location was very strategic, very close to the city center. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We also had the opportunity to spend an afternoon at their pool, which was very clean, and we enjoyed a drink. The view was fabulous. I highly recommend it.

Starting to pack as it's nearly time to go home and we really don't want to. The Hotel is stunning. We're in a Superior Suite with Sea View and the room is gorgeous and the vista quite amazing The Food in the Restaurant is simply amazing with a real wide variety to suit all tastes. Didn't really use the Roof top pool and terrace as the beach is right across the road. What really makes this Hotel shine are the staff. They are so warm and welcoming and always with a smile.. A couple of things that I think could do with attention are 1/ Would be nice if the Hotel enforced their dress code of 'no shorts' in the restaurant at evening meal. The web site does request long trousers. 2/ Please implement a Smoking ban on room Balconies and at the outdoor seating area. There's nothing worse than having smoke wafting in your face when relaxing. Despite these 2 minor gripes my wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in what we feel is the best Hotel in Benidorm.

Our adventures Around

Central location and honestly couldn’t recommend the Cimbel highly enough to anyone visiting Benidorm. It’s not a budget hotel so if that’s what you’re looking for move on and consider alternatives. Pool is perfect, deep and very clean. Plenty of sun loungers available around and also tables and seating allowing you to watch the views of Benidorm pass by this beautiful hotel. Staff always happy to help and have a great welcoming smile whenever you need to talk to them from arriving through to check out. First floor rooms on the front are all small pool rooms, these we would book if visiting in the future, they just give you a little more space. Our first room we had to change as previous guests had smoked in it, that’s the only negative aspect of our stay and after quickly talking to the team on reception we had an alternative room and it was absolutely perfect! Bathrooms plenty of space and shower is super powerful just how we like it! Dual sinks allowed for both of us to get ready together with no issues. Breakfast is amazing! Plenty of choice, amazing orange juice and lots of hot coffee…. The variety of fresh fruit and pastries on offer is great and constantly refreshed, make sure you try the pink coated jam cakes they are amazing!

Simply stunning rooms. 105 right in the middle. Cleaner was friendly and cheerful. (Important as they look after your room). Lovely breakfast/dining room, both bright and airy. Comfortable bar area. When myself abd my husband arrived We were made to feel very welcome, a nice touch for my husbands birthday the hotel had a bottle of bubbles awaiting on our arrival with a little bowl of sweets , the room was always cleaned to high standards, the only downside was paper cups for coffee in our room. I was going to by a drink and use pool ,but I had to pay for a drink to use the toilet. Also I was allowed to seat by the pool and swim in pool but not lie on beds. The staff wasn't the best. I wouldn't stay and spend money in that hotel

This is amazing I’ve come from the UK with my Nana and it is amazing we are on the 12th floor with sea view and it is lovely we are right near all the shops. Food is amazing! There is a jacuzzi and about 1 pool and 3 “Pools” it is absolutely beautiful and I definitely recommend and it is quite flat and the fair all year round is right behind it.

Best hotel for the strip. Food good. Very helpful staff. Hotel is quiet bit like retirement home so if you looking for something more lively go elsewhere. They have entertainers on daily do yourself a favour go out. No offence but it's got a club vibe we watched one show and it was awful. Go out there's lots of decent entertainers on the strip.

I was apprehensive to stay here after reading reviews stating it was for a certain age bracket - well that wasn’t true when I visited. There was a very varied age throughout the hotel and the atmosphere was lovely! Rooms were great, loved the view. The pool bar was a nice touch, very relaxing and great drinks. Stefan at the pool was also so attentive with all the sun loungers and parasols, a very nice guy. The food in the dining room had plenty of options and the staff there are so wonderful and friendly. Oh and the location is superb, right next to everything but feels like a little haven tucked away facing the sea. We will definitely return!

Very special shout out to Stefan the pool attendant who worked tirelessly to make sure that I was adequately shaded in the very hot Benidorm sunshine. What that man doesn’t know about shade is not worth writing about. First class hotel and well worth the visit. 5 stars.

But rooms quite cramped wall colour could be changed to a nicer pallet than Beige & carpet tiles is a big NO NO it should be stone tiles, people walking bare footed on the carpet give me the ick!! Too many rules around the pool area ridiculous! Breakfast absolutely superb 5 stars all round here & fab location. But wouldn’t go back as we did not like the rooms and pool rules, I got told off yesterday for having a can of Fanta under my sunbed. The pool police showed me up in front of everyone not nice I don’t go on holiday for that type of treatment

We went to Magic Tropical Splash for a week-long family holiday. There are plenty of food and drinks options for every taste and the rooms are being cleaned every day. A variety of slides and pool depths for all ages too, with animation team aiming to keep everyone around the pool happy and engaged. All members of staff are always friendly and helpful - from reception, through restaurants & bars, housekeeping, all the way to the people that greet you at the door. It was great to meet Christian from customer service - extremely helpful and attentive! Will gladly go back again for another family holiday.

Great hotel, pool area is massive, slides for kids of all ages. The ques for sun loungers in a morning is ridiculous. They open the pool area at 9am but the ques start from 7.45 and people run for them and argue with others too. Rooms a little dated but very spacious and air con worked great. Good is great too, different themed nights every night. Entertainment round the pool through the day is good but night time Entertainment is pretty shit. We did all inclusive plus which was worth the money for us, but I guess for some people it would be. We had a meal in the Italian restaurant which was shit, the lasagne was still frozen in the middle and staff very rude. In a quiet location, but only a 10 min taxi into benidorm or 40 minutes walk. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the hotel with my family for four nights. Rooms: Let’s start with the fact that you can hear everything from outside — there’s a lot of noise during busy seasons, including music playing until midnight and sounds from neighboring rooms and hallways. The room design is outdated but functional. We’re a family of five, and the room size suited us well. It was clean. After reading reviews about the elevators, we asked for a lower floor, which turned out to be a great decision — the elevators are indeed very slow. Staff: The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Location: The hotel’s location is excellent — close to the beach, fairly central, with a supermarket and some shops nearby. When we wanted to go further out, it was difficult to find a taxi that could accommodate five people. After waiting a long time, we decided to take a public bus instead, which turned out to be affordable and convenient. Food: There was plenty of food and a good variety, but unfortunately, it didn’t suit our taste. However, the dining room and all public areas were clean and well maintained. On one of the days, we took the hotel shuttle to the Robin Hood Hotel, and it was a very pleasant day. Overall: Our biggest issue was the noise — it was hard to relax in the room due to constant sounds from outside and neighboring rooms at all hours

Busy all inclusive hotel with several pools, resturants, bars and a waterpark with multiple slides. Family friendly staff and lovely clean amenities make it a good holiday. The fake grass by the pools gets burning hot and on bare feet blisters sensitive people. Lifts are needed in each of the 4 blocks. It's easy to over eat as the food is good and plentiful. The entertainment is a reasonable standard for Spanish hotels with things for all ages and their is a beach nearby.

I was really hoping to give 4 stars to Magic Tropical Splash Hotel & up until our last 24 hours, I was going to. Firstly, I think 3 stars is fair for the hotel. The rooms are a really good size, good amenities, very clean but are a little dated (personally not a problem for me - as long as things work - which they did). The pool area is great. Again, clean, tidy, enough space & activities across the day. The standard of the drinks for a 3 star all-inclusive was also a better standard than I had expected, AND staff were polite & helpful. For the food, it was average but plenty of choice. We stuck to vegetarian as we had read multiple reviews about illness after eating here, so we wanted to play safe considering we were only there for 4 days. Unfortunately, my friend chose the chickpea stew at lunch to find it had fish in it (another side issue - food like salads & stews aren't clearly labelled for dietry requirements) & later that early evening was badly sick with diarrhoea all through the night. As we were checking out the next day but not being picked up until 7pm, I requested at reception for us to have a small room my friend could rest in as she was still being sick. The senior reception staff & hotel duty manager did arrange this free of charge however not before me having to ask & explain 3 times. They didn't show any sympathy & told me I couldn't be sure it was the food here. They felt on the hard defensive with a little bit of sarcasm thrown in, rather than working to help us regardless of what had happened. So, all in all, yes I would go back as it did have highlights, but the reviews here about food, from my experience, need to be taken seriously. Stick to veggie or just do bed & drinks.

We stayed here with our small family on 2017 and again in 2025 (last week). Both times we were blown away. Customer service is great, the rooms are very clean, there's so much to do for the kids & food is very good. All the staff are helpful and seem to enjoy what they're doing. The waterpark is great, the zoo is brilliant, we were even blown away by the medieval show we attended which was also included. Both visits for us have been top notch and we will definitely return next week. Highly recommended if you have kids younger than 12yrs.

The pools were a bit small for my taste but there was a water park 10 minutes walk away that was included as part of the package. The food and drinks were good, My only real complaint would be the layout of the buffet. It was all laid out mostly along one side of the room so people tended to queue for one station and cause a massive backlog. If they had separated the stations a bit more it would have reduced congestion. The Zoo is amazing. Well laid out and all the animals look well looked after and are active, we went at different ones of say and saw something different each time. The water park was a good size and never felt overcrowded. Good selection of slides, a big main pool area and several young children's splash pools.

Had a great time here with my two teenage boys. They had a great time. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the lodge was great not too far from the pool, waterpark and zoo all included in the price. The time we spent here the food at the restaurant was good could always find something to eat, The free ice cream and water around the site were a blessing as the 10 days we were here were hot in the high 30s,

Me and my partner took our 4 kids ranging from 12 years to 9 years and they have absolutely loved Magic Natura. From the accomodation, to the pools to the animal park and the water park they have absolutely loved each minute of it. There was so much to do and see. You could see the elephants from the pool, private coach to take you through to the beach (and it was free) always something the kids would like to eat (in my kids case that would be chips, pasta and melon) Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault the holiday at all. We even managed to find the sloth before leaving too!

We stayed for 2 weeks, our room it was at 11th floor. The room was clean and comfortable. On each morning the cleaning staff did a great job. The food was very good. We had only the breakfast included but we payed for our diner several times. The pool area has a nice pool and a nice bar where you can order drinks. Indeed, a new wing of the hotel is still under construction, but the noise is not so bad. They are trying their best to respect the guests during this development.

This is the fifth time we've stayed at Port Benidorm. Beautiful, modern hotel. Comfortable, well maintained rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Great food. Great location. Great value. Cheerful, helpful, efficient staff. Clever lift allocation system, so even at the busy times you aren't waiting ages for one. We'll certainly be back next year.

for the first time in Benidorm and I chose this hotel because of the review but now after being there I think that people who give 5 stars or write such positive reviews, were on holiday for the first time. The hotel is clean, the room is ok, in size, the food is good, you have a lot to choose from, nothing to say here. You can't choose a cocktail, they only have one type of cocktail every day.After many holidays at All inclusive, here I was shocked by certain things, for example the AL service ends at 11 pm, if you want something to drink after this time, you have to pay. My daughter asked for a slush and they said that it is not included in the all inclusive service and that it has to be paid, absolutely ridiculous, I have never encountered anything like this. At the pool, don't expect to hear music, except in the evening towards closing time, otherwise you will hear the new wing of the hotel being built all day long, I didn't feel safe with all the stones from the crane walking above the sun loungers, if you like the sound of drills, this is the perfect place. The hotel has a gorgeous terrace on the top floor with an extraordinary view but here you have to pay for everything, even if you have AL, and it is very crowded, you have to wait to have a free table. And lest I forget, I have never seen such unhappy staff in all my holidays, no one smiles at you, at least at the restaurant where you eat, everyone has a sad face, some seem nervous, maybe they are too tired, I don't know but having this behavior seems unacceptable to me, I have never met such staff anywhere, I think they need training, they are not hospitable at all, you don't get a smile in the whole hotel. Very poor animation team, almost non-existent. If you want to visit Benidorm, I think you can find much better options than this hotel.The best part ,is very close to the beach.

First time in Benidorm, was slightly apprehensive about what it would be like… the hotel was beautiful, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and very helpful.. the rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfy. The breakfast choice was huge and everything was fresh and well presented. The hotel bar was comfortable and the drinks were great value however, the roof top bar is a must.. nicest cocktails I have had in a long while. To be aware - the lifts can be slightly confusing and there is building work on the new wing of the hotel, which never bothered us (but worth being aware). Overall I would give a 5/5 and would most certainly stop again.

Great hotel been coming here for ten years now love it here can't wait to try the new. Part when completed missed seeing happy Carlos this year hope he is well. things to improve outside toilets need more and also showers still flood need fixing but can't wait to see you all next year in new hotel big shout to the cleaning staff that do a great job thanks to all staff love it here

The staff at the level were so friendly, the level itself is child free area, free breakfast wine beer Coca Cola etc. the breakfast is really good, so many options with smiley staff making fresh omlettes. It wasn’t just continental breakfast but had bacon, sausage etc. the little things go along way, for example the cups are refrigerated to make sure your drink is ice cold. The sun does go behind the hotel but you just sunbathe near the pool. The chairs could be a bit more spaced out as it does feel a bit close together. We were situated quite far from the level but we didn’t think it was that bigger deal. Hotel staff are so pleasant, rooms are super clean, bed comfy (although pillows are fairly soft). Overall worth every penny.

We had a lovely stay in a level, marina view room in the Melia. The room was very comfortable and the staff were exceptional. In particular thanks to Gloria and Rokio in the lounge who took such great care of us and in helping to cater for my food intolerances. It is worth paying for the level service which includes free drinks, tapas, snacks and is a lovely place to retreat to for a rest. The hotel restaurant is very good and staff, particularly Juanjo, are friendly. The restaurant is waiter service and there was a good choice of food included in half board. We have stayed at this hotel before and will have no hesitation in returning.

My dad had a very serious fall during our stay, and the hotel staff offered no assistance, seemingly avoiding responsibility. We had to call emergency services ourselves. Instead of enjoying our time at the hotel, we spent it at the hospital. Initially, the hotel mentioned they would address our poor experience, but when we tried to extend our stay because my dad was still in the hospital, they offered a room at a higher rate than our original booking. The guest experience manager admitted to being aware of my dad’s fall from the start, despite another staff member claiming no one knew. They also refused to investigate the cause of the fall. On the day we were supposed to check out, they sent someone at 9:30 AM to ensure we left on time. The entire experience was terrible—there was no compassion, and the hotel is overpriced. I do not recommend staying here

Great stay overall, with a few downsides! 🏨 The hotel is in a fantastic location – super easy to get around, close to everything you might need, and a great base for exploring the area. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, which made the stay really comfortable. One of the biggest surprises was the food – especially dinner! The variety and quality were much better than expected. Every night there was something different and tasty on the menu. Breakfast was also solid, but dinner really stood out. Now, for the downsides: the walls are quite thin, so you can hear noise from neighboring rooms, and the room doors close really loudly, which can be annoying, especially in the mornings or late at night. That was the only thing that disrupted the otherwise peaceful vibe. If you’re a light sleeper, maybe bring earplugs — but besides that, I’d definitely recommend this place. Good value, great location, clean rooms, and surprisingly good food! 👌

The best location near boardwalk with a lot of restaurants around. Breakfast and dinner are very good, there are a lot of food options and it’s very tasty. The downside is that you hear slamming of the doors all the time. Walls are so thin that you can even hear people next door “having some good time”.

Thus hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Alicante. It has clean room rooms and an inviting reception area and a good restaurant on the upper floors. The staff are warm and friendly and the breakfast is excellent. It is a great base from which to explore Alicante and the wider Costa Blanca. Lots to do and see and some really fabulous restaurants nearby. I would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting a city break to Alicante.

I have mixed reactions to this hotel. Great location, ok sized room, which was clean with everything you need, great buffet style breakfast with so much choice but a terrible night's sleep due to the walls being so thin. Banging doors and loud voices could be heard all night from above and next door. It's not great if you have a young family or a light sleeper. We will definitely be returning to Alicante, but unfortunately, not this hotel.

Location great, close to everything. Thin paper walls. If you are in the last floor you will hear the kitchen noise and anyone who is in the corridor. If you go during “Semana Santa”, you won’t be able to sleep due to the drums and music outside until very late. Everything can be heard from outside, even if you are in the top floors. There’s only two little elevators for 26 floors, with capacity for four people. Creating long waiting times, and squishing yourself with other people. Super expensive for what it is. If you pay for having dinner included, you will have very little options to choose from (3), not even one drink included, you have to pay extra for that. At least the waiters and waitresses are nice. It smells really bad in the corridors and elevators. Like something is rotten. After leaving the hotel we get an unknown charge on our card of over 100€ (when we haven’t used anything from the mini bar, nor broken anything, the drinks at the restaurant were paid with cash). The walls have creases everywhere, in the very VERY thin balcony there’s humidities in the roof. The only good thing is the views.

Lovely hotel right by the port. Our room was the junior suite and it had a magnificent view of the sea and the beach. I would recommend a room facing the water as the port side can get very crowded and loud at night. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Two little pools. I would definitely return here.

I had a really nice and pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very nice, we had a sea view suite, the balcony was really big, I think because the room is at a corner so the balcony was L-shaped so it was very long and big balcony, the hotel is right at the sea front, so when I sat at the balcony and looked right at the sea , I felt like I was on a ship, the room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable, it is just flawless. The jacuzzi and sauna was also very nice, though there were 2 occasions when I went to the sauna, it wasn’t turned on and it was such a big disappointment. The hotel provides towels at the swimming pool but there is no clear sign and indication of where to get a towel, so might need to go inside the restaurant bar to ask. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly, breakfast and dinner were delicious though buffet breakfast selection was a bit limited, the location of the hotel is very central, and very close to the Sandy beach, it is a very nice hotel I would definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely time here. We went with the premium sea view room and it didn't disappoint. Biggest minus was that the tvs seemed a bit old and there was no fridge except the mini fridge so storing your own items was not possible. Otherwise, great help from the receptionists as well as the staff at the breakfast center and pool area.

Really enjoyed our stay, rooms were great, very big bed (memory foam) fantastic views of the marina, if you want the sun on your belcony in the evening then best to have a room on the marina side, the trade off is you will get a bit of noise from the bars across the road.

This was a very average experience a shame as the rooms are lovely and location spot on BUT the jacquzzi a complete fail along with the free nails in the sauna. The staff were trying to help but overall it seemed like a just a tourism catch for the unsuspecting tourists. It does not have a welcoming feel or attitude at all and manager were aggressive when I queried the issues. Couldn’t recommend if you want to stay somewhere that is as it is advertised!
