Rooms were basic but clean. Breakfast had lots of variety and is served until 10am. The sun beds and pool don’t open until 10am so you need to queue from around 9.45 but there was plenty of beds. There is a free bus every 20minutes to take you down to the beach as the hotel is up a hill. I liked being away from the strip and taxi was €5-7 back. The Club sandwich was lovely at the pool bar and rose wine was really nice and cheap (€3.50) overall it was a good experience.

All-rounder hotel. Marked as a 4 star and would borderline agree. The main lobby is modern and inviting, staff on the desk 24/7 with security patrolling through the night. Rooms have been updated somewhat recently though some are showing age. By no means is this below standard. Rooms have a balcony with tables and chairs. Inside of the rooms have fridges, small tv and plenty storage space. The hallways and lobbies do seem outdated in comparison to the rest of the hotel Bathroom get very steamy very quickly with inadequate ventilation, left all surfaces sticky/damp. Had breakfast included with stay, buffet style serving but lacking compared to local restaurants which also serve breakfast. Our group (5 adults) split into a room with two single beds and a “family room” which turned out to be two doubles pushed together. When we asked if we could swap as this was not explained prior to booking (photos showed two beds and a sofa, love holidays) no alternative was offered and staff weren’t interested when asked. Hotel features 2 pools (indoor and outdoor) Outdoor pool is moderately sized with an area exclusive for kids in the main pool. Plenty sun loungers available within the hotel grounds, two outside bars also on site. Good hotel on the cheap, there will be better hotels if luxury is the aim of the holiday.

Lovely hotel. Quite a walk up the hill every time we went to the strip. But.. would rather be away from the noise. The hotel was full of hen dos and stag dos but… to be honest.. no probs .. the breakfast typical usual bacon eggs or continental.. but there is microwaves to use if you like to heat your food.. we do.. would recommend this hotel. Cheap cheerful staff amazing. Benidorm . We have seen all your sights now. But if you’re coming .. enjoy

The rooms are not properly clean. The apartment doesn’t even provide hand soap- we should ask for it- I think it is basic to have soap in the bathroom. In the kitchen there isn’t any dishwasher, no paper towel. The apartment is up on a hill, it is not easy to get there from the beach or from the city. The pool was closed until 15th June- we found about this when we came. If we knew we wouldn’t rent the apartment. The keypads we got were not on a good condition- they were taped with taping band- although we had to pay 30 euros because according to the owner it was our fault that the keypad looked like it did when we went. The warm water is not enough for more than 2 short showers- we were a family of four persons and the adults had to shower with cold water all the time.

Overall the hotel is ok but there are a few cons for people travelling with small children. The pool opens at 10am and people que from around 9:30 ish and there aren’t any sun loungers left usually from around 10:10am. I travelled with my one year old son for his first holiday and the only parasols available were on the first row directly around the pool which wasn’t great as they would cover other people sun loungers as well. The bus which takes you down to the beach runs every 20 minutes yes but it stops at 14:00 and continues again at 17:20 which is no good if you need to go out and get lunch as the hill is a mission on its own let alone pushing a pushchair up it as well. The corridors in the hotel were extremely narrow and there would be no way of getting a double stroller through them. There were multiple occasions where I had to ask the cleaners to move the trolly to allow me to get past with just my single stroller. The cleaners came every day granted, however they only changed the bins and towels and the bed wasn’t made/changed throughout the whole week and travelling with a baby, he has snacks and gets crumbs on the floor and not once did they sweep the floor! The staff were ok with me but were rude to my partner for some reason. You have to wear a swimming cap in the indoor pool which is crazy, I’ve never heard of that being a thing before. Lastly, the shop on site don’t sell any big waters so if you’re having to sterilise bottles etc you have to go to a shop down the hill so bear in mind if you have to walk back up the hill! The food around the pool however is very nice and made fresh!

Was a little bit unsure after reading negative reviews and also my husband booked this after staying there for a boy's weekend away, so not sure what to expect. The food was excellent, really good choice every day. Staff really friendly and helpful. The coin system the hotel uses for outdoor drinks is a really good Idea as you are not seeing glasses left by beds or on tables. Also the lifts somebody mentioned I think really works well as you are not waiting for lifts going to all floors . My only negative is I think the hotel is slightly dated but everything else makes up for that . If I stay in this area again I would definitely stay again and I would definitely recommend.

Well what can I say. Most staff rude and un helpful some were really good. Like a prison have a card for your lift and can only go where your card is linked to so my daughter or family couldn't come to our room unless we went down to fetch them. Pool absolutely tiny pool bar served through a window very little choice for all inclusive on your drinks. Rooms horrible with vile brown blankets kettle in room no cups or tea or coffee had to buy a cup. Fridge was warm Rooms not very clean shower freezing then boiling very dangerous. asked for towels 3 times and still didn't get them not one person came to clean our room. Says daily room service that didn't happen. Spa you have to buy a swimming hat before you can go in and outdated and dirty in there. Everytime we walked through reception taking all you would get from staff was shh shh shh. Get a token for your drinks one drink at a time. And the day you leave your token is taken and all inclusive stops. Would not recommend so many more nicer better location hotels there. Paid extra for deluxe room and pool view my room was same as ones that didn't pay extra and my pool view was more of a carpark view with a very little pool so don't pay extra for that.

Can't fault it. Food is lovely. Great selection of hot and cold. Breakfast was great. Amazing choices. The food caters for all pallets. Staff are friendly and helpful. Changed my room without question when I asked. Entertainment is good. Poolside lovely. Very clean throughout the hotel. We won a two day Spa session playing bingo. Excellent day relaxing. Great hotel. Good gym, spa, indoor swimming pool. Excellent location. Bus stop right outside. Taxi rank a few yards down the road. Walking distance to the beach. Shops, restaurants, bars, markets a stone's throw away. Brilliant stay.

Stayed here as a family with 6 of us including two wheelchair users and a baby and was absolutely fine, had no issues with the rooms we stayed on floor 4, the rooms are very dated but there’s nothing wrong with them at all. Food in the all inclusive was okay good choice and usually always something for everyone to eat, dining room is well kept. The outside pool is quite small which I can imagine is frustrating in summer if you’re wanting to lounge by the pool but we weren’t fussed. The entertainment staff are absolutely fantastic they were so lovely and accommodating we enjoyed the games of bingo and the all inclusive drinks. Overall was an okay stay had no issues with lifts and bugs as people have been saying- the previous bad reviews were putting us off and made us very uneasy about arriving but all our worries were soon put to rest when we arrived and saw it for ourselves :)

The food at the hotel was good. The hotel offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to all tastes. Each meal was a delightful experience, thanks to the high quality and variety of the food. The staff at the Dynastic Hotel were fantastic. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and dedication to providing excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's facilities were top-notch. I don't see why we should have to pay additional money to use the indoor pool this should be included or not be so expensive. The entertainment offered by the hotel was also good, with live music, engaging shows. While the rooms were comfortable and clean, a few minor updates could enhance the overall experience. However, this did not detract from our stay. The overall atmosphere and amenities made our visit truly memorable. In summary, the Dynastic Hotel in Benidorm is a good choice for anyone seeking a wonderful holiday experience.

First time in benidorm made very memorable by staying at this lovely hotel. Very light and airy within walking distance from beach. Plenty bars and music venues. Staff very helpful. Hotel very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here

Excellent base for holiday ,me and my wife came here in may 25 ,only niggle we had about the place was with the lifts they were very unpredictable so waited a while sometimes for lift,apart from that hotel was excellent staff friendly food there was a very good selection of food for all tastes ,room was spotless and all laundered both towels and bedding ,hotel is right in the heart of everything just short walk to new town a bit further to old town but taxis available ,we would definitely go back as it was a well earned well enjoyed holiday 5*****

Smart, spotless and immaculate both internally and externally. Every member of staff was helpful, efficient and cheerful. Lovely room with housekeeping to match. Special mention to Dani, all the dining room staff and head chef Paco, the banquets at both Christmas Day and New Year's Eve were spectacular. The range of food on offer every day was wide and good. Would I stay there again, Absolutely yes.

A wonderful place to stay with stunning views and peaceful neighbourhood. If one is touring spain and anywhere on the east coast they need to visit Altea and stay at Pierre Vacances! Best property by the sea. Wonderful restaurants and a beach facing shack right outside. We visited on the Spain Black Day and it was even more serene with little lights and only the sound of the waves to break the silence. The apartment is very comfortable with both heating and cooling options. Great balcony and wonderful view. Very clean and spacious apt. Complete value for money.

Please notice that 70 m2 apartments are nice looking in the photos BUT SMELL ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND UNHEALTHY (building 7 seven 1st apartment floor apt. 306). It 200 meters away from the main building which is the one presented in the photos. They are renovated to a very old building which smells absolutely horrible. Untolerable. ’Service’ is 0 stars at it is non-existing. First the receptionist said she ”cannot make an upgrade” when I offered money to her, us to stay in the main building. THEN she said ”You need to call to where you booked it from” even though I booked from Pierre & Vacances own website!! After calling for 15 minutes to UK she walks outside to say she has talked to a superior and could change our apartment. Where was this half an hour earlier? That ’superior’ apartment had a very strong perfume odour from cleaning products. Not good at all. Still, the ’service’ was the worst. She was the lousiest receptionist I have ever met, with the experience from dozens of accommodations in around 30 countries. First she said TWICE I need to make the call myself. THEN she starts acting like ”she couldn’t say it as I had been upset” about she forcing me to call from Spain to UK with a Finnish mobile phone number (which probably cost me another 50-100 euros as I tried to call for the 3rd time to get my money back - didn’t succeed, only got directions how to make a complaint online). However it was clear it was not worthwhile to ruin my special holiday by staying. Stay instead anywhere else than here.

Apartment was nice had dishwasher and washing machine as well as normal facilities no kettle tho but used saucepan. It was quite spacious with a nice view. A few nice restaurants nearby but supermarket up steep hill and no transport nearby. Not really anything to do in this area so had to get cabs to get out.

We booked this hotel for a family vacation and were pleased to find a 4-star hotel located away from the noisy party areas near the beaches. We assumed this would provide a quiet environment and a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, we were mistaken. First, it’s important to note that the hotel is situated directly above a major bus terminal. This wouldn’t be such an issue if the hotel had double-glazed windows, but it doesn’t. As a result, the loud sounds of bus engines became the constant background noise whenever we tried to sleep. Even closing the windows properly was difficult, as they are, like much of the hotel, quite old. We also believed that booking a 4-star hotel outside the city center would help keep away party groups and rowdy guests. Sadly, this was not the case. The hotel was full of such groups, and the staff didn’t make much effort to separate them from families. The hallways have terrible acoustics, and the doors close with a loud slamming mechanism. Any late-night conversations or door slams echoed throughout the hotel, waking us up repeatedly. Over our eight-night stay, we didn’t have a single uninterrupted night’s sleep. Even if you manage to fall asleep, the beds are not true beds. They’re thin platforms with legs and a mattress on top. Because the legs are so narrow and the furniture is poorly maintained, the entire bed shakes whenever you turn over. When we raised this issue, housekeeping simply provided sticky pads to put under the legs. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, be aware that you’ll struggle to find protein during your stay. We booked a full-board package, but nearly 90% of the dishes included meat or fish. Although the kitchen sometimes added vegetarian options, none of the dishes were labeled, so it was impossible to tell which items were suitable for vegetarians. Another issue was the policy on drinks. Even with full-board, you have to pay for drinks at lunch and dinner. They wouldn’t even serve tap water, which we found absolutely unreasonable. On a positive note, the hotel was clean, the pool was nice (as long as they weren’t blasting loud club music for hours on end—which seems to be a weekend habit), and the dining room staff was friendly. The hotel also offers free parking, and there’s plenty of space and easy access. Overall, the hotel is in desperate need of a complete renovation and furniture upgrade. If you’re a light sleeper, this place could truly drive you crazy. I would strongly advise against it for families or anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing vacation.

We booked this hotel as we were going to a party in La Nucia, and the hotel was in close proximity and an easy place for pick up and drop off. The staff were welcoming and friendly both at the check-in desk and the cafeteria. The rooms were a nice size and generally quite clean. There were just a few things that could've been improved (smears on glass in bathroom and bedroom, a used chewing gum that was stuck on the side of the wardrobe and a clothes sticker on the bathroom counter).

Stayed for 4 nights in March 2025 (room 307) and really enjoyed it. Friendly reception staff and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. The hotel is right above the bus station so getting there from the airport was incredibly easy. Walking distance to all the sights. The room had everything we needed and a comfortable large bed. Good quality basic breakfast option available for 10 Euros. The gym could do with some improved equipment. Brilliant value for money!

We booked this hotel knowing it was up out of town, and was a walk, so know it won't suit everyone. Great base, right above the bus station and 2 mins walk from the train station. 10/15 min walk into the old town and avantie beach front. Hotel it's self feel like a city break hotel, rooms really great size, air con - best I think we have ever had abroad. Bathroom great size, and shower brilliant amazing pressure. Room has 2 double beds, and extremely comfortable brilliant. Pool area really nice and pool bar really reasonable priced, Julia the server was just lovely. I would 100% book this hotel again.

Rooms are large, clean with an excellent bathroom and large walk-in shower. The location for us was excellent, away from the boom boom madness of benidorm. Most of the clients are workers/business. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is an excellent choices for evening meal and breakfast with the food being hot or cold..not tepid like other hotels can be. I would use this hotel again.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The food was downright horrible — the same soups and mains for 7 days straight. Pork and cow ribs? A complete waste. The only halfway decent things were the potatoes, bread, and onion rings. The juice machine only works in the morning; after that, you’re basically drinking water from the rinse system — it tastes worse than pool water. Dinner? Good luck finding where it’s served, because it changes daily. Sometimes both places are open, and they decide where you eat based on how your face looks. No explanation, just judgment. Communication is a nightmare — you have to say everything twice before anyone listens. Room service is a joke. I’m still waiting for a reply about my missing clothes. And the “Do Not Disturb” sign? Just decoration. Housekeeping ignores it completely. Noise is constant — every morning, it sounds like the beds in the rooms above and next to you are being dragged across the floor. This place clearly gave up on itself. It’s like it’s trying to go out of business on purpose. First and last time. I honestly need another vacation just to recover from this disaster.

Absolutely love this hotel, 3 times I have stayed here and have always been made to feel welcome! My kids also enjoyed being here, the staff are very friendly any problems they sort prompt and quickly! Very child friendly, great entertainment everyday! LOVE that the pool is emptied, cleaned every night. Food is great to. If you want a kettle etc on request they bring straight to your room! I will be returning again 🙂 great view of the 3 pools! 43 floors, fantastic view.

I did a getaway trip with my aunt and sister and we all loved it. We had the most amazing view and loved the friendliness of staff and other guests. The food was a bit hit or miss, but we didn’t really go for the food. We had breakfast and dinner here and went out to eat lunch and tour Benidorm. Loved the pool and little cafe there as well and it’s a nice walk to the beach! Price was affordable and hotel was quiet and clean. I would recommend to others I know.

Lovely hotel & the sky bar is my favourite. Sea view rooms are better in the old building. In the new building you can hear street noise at night time from the bars & clubs down below. If you have an end apartment, it's a shame because it's like a penthouse room. I had to move the next day but then I got a sea view. The only thing was we could hear the lift all through the night because it was broken, on my last night. My new room was then by the lift. There is two lovely beaches nearby & up the road there is a great supermarket, about five minutes away, on the right hand side of the hotel entrance. You can buy cheap beers & Spanish foods, in the supermarket there is a microwave where you can warm food up. They had large trays of sushi if you're bed & breakfast it was ideal. There wasn't much for children at the time. It would be brilliant with a few waterslides for kids.

Extremely Disappointing Stay The rooms were incredibly outdated—while we didn’t mind that, the hygiene was appalling. Dust covered every surface (which I had to clean myself!) and there was used shower gel left in the shower. The doors were covered in dirty smears, and the balcony railings were covered with vomit from the previous guest. Breakfast was a nightmare: we stayed on the 33rd floor, it took 15 minutes for the lift to arrive and another 15 minutes going down one floor at a time in a cramped lift. The view was the only redeeming quality, offering a beautiful panorama of the city. The staff were rude and unprofessional, often ignoring guests or chatting and laughing among themselves, making us feel uncomfortable. It’s a 45-minute to 1-hour walk to the city centre, but that didn’t bother us as there were nice bars and restaurants on the way. Cheap cabs (€8-€10) are an option. Overall, I’d never stay here again. A disappointing experience in every way except the view.

Unfortunately over half our group of 41 contracted a virus during our stay. Another group of 30 also were sick. I believe other hotel guests were also sick. I felt unwell after visiting the spa. The hotel management offered Doctors and tests (results not yet available) they also offered room service for those unwell. I waited 45 minutes and 1 hour for food to arrive in the room. Otherwise the food was good, the staff and service was friendly and polite. Hotel has a great location and a great spa. The lifts are oddly configured and often had long waits at busy times.

My friend and stayed in this hotel during the bank holidays for 3 nights. First I would like to start off by saying that the reception staff were amazing and were always around to help if we needed anything.This goes to the beverage team as well especially Alfredo who was so amazing and sweet. The buffet food was also amazing ! Regarding the hotel itself we don’t believe that this is a 4 star hotel for a couple of reasons; 1.There is no coffee station in the room where people can have a couple of warm drinks in their room which most hotels do even with less starts 2.The Beverage team do not have the best English so it took us a while to explain to them what we needed for a drink . The one main limitation of this holiday is the area portrayed with the private bar and the chairs and sofas outside on their website which apparently does not exist as of now, We were checking out yesterday and upon check out a lovely receptionist advised us that this area was still in progress which I thought was unfair even though it’s not the staffs fault .Please note that people would book this hotel mainly because of this area as it’s gorgeously portrayed on their website but then they come to the hotel and it’s not actually there. Unfortunately we didn’t leave as happy as we thought we would because we paid a lot of money for a 3 day holiday, probably around £700.00 with the flights and only breakfast included in the hotel . I believe that area should not be on the website as it’s wrong that it’s still in progress which is what people would not know when they book the hotel 🙂

We visited and stayed here as a coach trip and had 2 nights. The hotel is undergoing renovations but didn't really impact on our stay. we had a lovely room with a balcony and sea view. The food was buffet style but plenty of options to choose from.

We spent the night of December 31st here and had a fantastic time with our small kids, it’s a in a great area, close to the beach and the rest of Calpe. I was very surprised that they had a beautiful gala dinner that night with a live concert, kids allowed! And everyone looked like they were having fun. We are for sure booking for next year or the next time we visit. Calpe is definetely a place to visit with family and friends. There’s lots of see and this hotel had great service, a beautiful spa for adults, unfortunately no indoor pool for kids during winter BUT they had an outdoor pool (for summer) so we’ll have to come back then! I loved our room, overlooked the water, we had a large balcony, honestly, I couldn’t complain about anything - it was perfect. OH! Breakfast buffet was included - that was a fantastic added bonus!!

Location was excellent. The rooms are big & bright, large tv, kettle, comfy bed, spacious balcony and really powerful shower with a choice of two heads. The breakfast had a good choice of food and plenty of tables to sit at. The lifts are fast and there are five of them, one of which shows you the city and sea as it rises. The staff on reception are lovely they really know about Benidorm and they are so helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day and kept to a very high standard. I will be back.

Went to Planta 20 (rooftop terrace) at Hotel Madeira Centro. Open to non residents. Lovely panoramic views over benidorm. Was expecting it to be pretty busy as it was not long before sunset, but got an outdoor seat straight away. A pint and a Sangria for 8.50€ which is just the same as many places on ground level.

Stayed here from the 10th March till 16th March 2025, we had an emergency and the receptionist notta got a booking with no issues. We had stayed here before, and again was not disappointed, the rooms, staff food and maid service sis spot on. Would highly recommend this hotel as it has spoiled us and find it hard to stay anywhere else

I booked direct with the hotel a double superior room with balcony. I never received confirmation of my booking prior to travel so I emailed the hotel to confirm my booking. They replied say they had already sent me confirmation...which they hadn't but what I found strange is that they still hadn't sent me any confirmation of booking. When I arrived I was charged another 19€ per night parking which I personally think should be included. After I'd checked in and got to my room I'd noticed 2 single beds and no balcony so I went back to reception and said I think there's been a mistake that's wasn't the room I'd booked. The receptionist very rudely turn her screen around and said that is your room and we have no more available. Moral of the story is make sure they send you the confirmation so you don't get shrewd on your arrival. Would I stay here again......not a chance. And the breakfast is terrible.

Our 2nd year staying at the Avienda Hotel. I really enjoy the hotel. It's location on the edge of the Old Town and so close to the beach is brilliant. All of the staff are helpful, friendly, and polite. Our friend who travelled with us is coeliac and her diet was carefully and considerately dealt with by the kitchen and restaurant staff. The food on offer is fresh, tasty and varied. The bar is well stocked with branded drinks. This is an excellent hotel and we will return.

Great hotel food exceptional lots of choise.however a bad experience in the restaurant one of the staff tell male black hair stud in his ear wish I had got his name very rude and nasty to me and my 13 year old granddaughter over where we sat .uncalled for because he had to clean the table from a previous diner.my granddaughter was very upset more because she wanted to give me a nice day because it was my birthday on that day.it is not correct to shout at a child and a senior citizen shame on him.the restaurant was very full on the breakfast meal and I would not cause a scene in front of my granddaughter or the other diners.however the hotel other staff were friendly and excellent .the accommodations were very good definitely would give it 4 stars and have recommended it to many people .also is a exceptional location .we will be booking again stayed in the hotel last year this time we stayed in rhe apartments on half board great apartment.rooms are spotless the cleaners work very hard.beach is about 3 minutes away .step out of hotel and you are in the precinct.lots and lots of shops. Tapas alley 5 minutes away .popeye restaurant down that road there is a 1 euro larger bar lots to do and see in benidorm. Never a dissapointment.

The rooms were okay. Bathroom was very dated but serviceable. Shower was excellent. There are NO coffee/tea facilities in the room. No iron. Ancient fridge that literally pumped out heat so had to be turned off as the air conditioning is not switched on until the summer. You couldn't write it. We kept bottled water in the bathroom sink in cold water. The breakfast buffet was okay and we had dinner 1 night but that was quite poor and I wouldn't recommend it. The bar had a fantastic choice at really competitive prices. The bar service was exceptional. The location is superb.

The selling points of this hotel are the location, food, and amazing staff, especially Dani, who was an absolute angel when my partner was taken ill when we stayed last week. She is a real credit to your hotel :-) The first room we had was one overlooking the internal courtyard, and although spacious, it was far too hot. The fridge in the room didn't work and was pumping out heat which acted like a radiator and along with no AC (not switched on at that time of year), made the room unbearable (especially when ill). Having said this, we changed rooms after a few nights for a small surcharge and the staff were very accommodating. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and WiFi throughout. The location of the hotel, which is centrally located in the Old Town means you often get noise at night, but hey, it's Benidorm. The food is lovely with great variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the staff are very kind and helpful. I'd definitely recommend I'd you're looking for a hotel with a great location, great staff and food.

We have been in this hotel for a week, and I have to say that everything was very good, the location just a few minutes from the beach. The room they gave us had two large and comfortable beds. The buffet is very correct. And regarding the staff of 10, with special mention to Marivi at reception, Alexis in the dining room, and Camila who is a charming person who always exudes friendliness. If I return to Benidorm I will definitely repeat.

Stayed for a week in August and can not recommend the hotel enough. Rooms clean and modern but a tight squeeze for 3 (my husband, myself and my son) Food was great , we had breakfast and food from the pool bar. Staff were exceptional, couldn’t help enough, friendly and efficient. Walking distance to some lovely restaurants. Lidl next door, 10 walk to the beach and the buzz. Beach is not ideal, pebbly and the water is fairly rough. My mother in law couldn’t have stood up in it, so not great for very young g or old. Recommend though we had a great holiday.

Not a bad hotel but not 4 star. The good points were the staff were very friendly and it was generally clean and modern. So, to the not so good. There is need of a bit of TLC with woodwork needing painting and some corner trims on the walls were bent, leaving very sharp exposed metals strips, which could easily cut someone, especially children. Accepting it was out of season the pool bar and entertainment were limited to weekend and even then they didn't open the pool bar and we saw one average singer. The pool itself and jucuzzi were ice cold to the point we couldn't use it. The maintenance men started working around 9 which may jot be a problem to most people, but if you wanted a lie in, it's not good. On our last day, the entire pool area was shut for a wedding for the whole afternoon, which I didn't think was acceptable. The location is about a 15 walk to the beach so isn't ideal but we are more pool people anyway. All in all I would imagine it's a lot better in peak times when everything is open and the pool may be a bit warmer.

Thank you for a great stay at this hotel. I came for a few weeks together with my grandma. In this time I had to extend my stay several times due to unplanned events, and I experienced both standard and deluxe rooms. Overall it is a top notch hotel, modern, spacious rooms(even standard) with all you need, and great views of mountains from balcony on any side of the hotel. Staff is friendly and very helpful, most speak well English. Most importantly, it is a super clean hotel, and it felt nice to never have to worry about finding bugs or hairs or such from other guests when checking in to a new room. I would like to highlight the heartfelt, great experience of having Claudia as the cleaning lady on 2nd floor. She gave me the warmest welcome and a warmer goodbye. Interactions with her every day gave me such joy. Also the man with the glasses in the restaurant, gave exceptional service. Especially travelling with food allergies, I highly appreciated his skill and genuine friendliness, he was ready to take care of everything - with a smile. His service was one of the best I have experienced in customer service. Everything is very close, grocery store Lidl right next door, larger supermarkets and some shopping, along with restaurants, all 1-10 minute walk away. The beach is also quite a short walk away, right above 10 min walk. Bus stop close by. Everything you need. Only downside I experienced was that due to there being a lot of sports teams visiting this hotel, sometimes it can be noisy on some rooms. Staff was very accomodating in finding a different room if that happened though. Otherwise, it was super quiet, as there are usually mostly pensioners visiting, at least at this time of the year. The hotel in general was quite quiet and nice, not much drunk people or parties aside from music and some fun for people in the bar/cafe for weekends. Never heard noise from this in the rooms however.

We have been here a few times now. It's the top hotel in Albir and costs more, but location is great and overall a great hotel. Rooms could do with an update and there are no hot drink facilities in the room unless.you ask for a kettle ( but you have to find or buy a cup!) Food is really good compared to the other hotels in Albir.

Never felt so unwelcome from the moment I've walked into a hotel! The reception staff in particular were blunt, quite aggressive in their tones and probably some of the most unhelpful hospitality staff I've ever encountered. I wanted to change room the first night which took all day for them to know which rooms were available apparently. They also wanted to argue about my choice to change room even though I said I'd pay. When I left my sunbed for like 5 minutes the lady on reception tried to move my stuff because they can't be reserved. Which is fine but other people were literally leaving their stuff all day there... The restaurant is depressing, food is not nice and once they run out they don't replenish so if you don't get there quick there's not much left. One of the coffee machines in particular tasted like mud perhaps needing a good clean. The juice in the morning juice tasted like water. Then to top it all off the reception staff refused to even ask the minibus driver if they could drop us down the road for our transfer, saying they didn't stop there even though the minibus went right past it and stopped there before on one of my journeys. I accidentally left a pair of shoes and my adaptor in the room when I checked out and our flight wasn't till later. When I asked for it I was told nothing was handed in, they let me use their adaptor but wouldn't let me keep it even though mine was taken and my phone nearly died before I got to the airport and had to buy another one. It may come as a suprise that I will never be returning. The views are the best bit about Sun Palace. Everything else was very disappointing.

Good points: 1. Reception is good and helpful; 2. Bed and pillow are comfortable;3. Location is nice, close to the beach. Very disappointing points: 1. Food is definitely not qualified for a 4 star hotel: breakfast has limited choices, the meat looks bad-quality so we didn’t eat, bread is not freshly baked but pre-baked. Lunch is terrible, don’t eat lunch there! Dinner is ok for 3 star, salty and you need to buy many drinks; you could enjoy a very wonderful dinner outside with the same amount of money. 2, entertainment is not good for a family with kids, maybe more suitable for old people; 3. Sound isolation could be better; 4, indoor swimming pool is not free.

This hotell has some really big issues to overcome: 1) The walls between the rooms are sound insulating just as much as cardboard. 2) They have a bar and a disco inside the atrium, making it impossible to sleep at night 3) Their breakfast is terrible. Low quality and few options. The juice tastes artificial, so does the yoghurt. Coffee is tasteless and machines are not working well.

Nice Christmas break in Albir. The rooms were spacious, but shower head in the bathroom would not stay in the bracket. This was reported but not fixed, so we lived with it for the 4 nights... not the end of the world but expected more from a 4-star hotel as it made showering a chore.The hotel was busy, and the dining staff worked very hard, but on Christmas day evening dinner, they couldn't cope and the experience wasn't good. They were understaffed for the quantity of guests. This didn't spoil our vacation, but we did expect better from again a 4-star hotel. Information on meals ( Christmas Eve and Day) and entertainment were sparse, and we didn't know what to expect. We did get cava, and there were more dishes available on these days. The plus side was that bar prices were good, buffet meals were good enough and the hotel location , although on a hill, was good for walks to Albir, and if you're up for it, Altea. I'm not sure if we would return

Having just returned from this hotel, leaving a day earlier than planned. The room was ok although the duvet on my bed was soiled, we had a loose toilet seat, the bathroom door wouldn’t close, the enamel in the bath was peeling. It was the dining area that was most upsetting. You had to queue for ages to be seated and then found there were no glasses for juice and no bowls for cereal. Had to wait for fried eggs, by which time the rest of your breakfast was cold. The same with evening meal, they didn’t seem to have catered for the amount of quests they had. We were once accused of not paying for the water we had with our meal the previous night, when we did. It was embarrassing as it was said in public. So many people complained, I felt sorry for the staff as they were rushing around trying their best. They obviously didn’t have enough staff for the amount of quests.

Great hotel right on the beach. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Many food options within walking distance. If you are driving, there is no on-site parking, but there is a carpark a block or so over or you can try your luck finding street parking. We had the breakfast buffet which was great for the kiddos with many options. We got the suite with a "queen" and bunks which had a beautiful view of the beach.

I booked this hotel as a little 4 night getaway for me and my mother-in-law and Hotel Brisa did not disappoint! We had a very early flight out and we arrived at the hotel at around 11am (which was obviously way before check in), staff were helpful and let us use the luggage room to put our cases in and we enjoyed a couple of hours at the pool. Staff updated as soon as our room was available. I booked us the frontal sea view room and there was definitely wasn't any complaints the view was beautiful and to sit on the balcony and hear the waves crashing was so relaxing. The room was very spacious, and was equipped with a kettle with selection of tea and coffee, a safe, a fridge, a hair-dryer and basic toiletries. We were half board, and the food was fab, there was lots of selections for breakfast both hot and cold. As for evening meals, there was completely different choices everyday and something to suit everyone. I also would like to make a special shoutout in this review to one of the staff members called CARLOS, he was so friendly each time we entered the dinning room he always had a smile on his face. CARLOS also made THE BEST Mojitos I have ever tasted, he went to every table each evening and let guests try it and safe to say, that was then our favourite drink the whole holiday. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay and we will definitely be back Hotel Brisa!!!

Helpful service, great location (although loud on Saturday evenings), delicious food, fish, meat, vegetables, seafood, etc. every day, definitely everyone will find something for themselves. In the room a kettle, fridge, plenty of storage space. Daily cleaning. Very well-kept hotel. Possibility of borrowing an iron for free. One day we had to leave the hotel before breakfast hours, so we asked at the reception for a takeaway breakfast - we were surprised when we got a whole bag of nutritious food with bread and even cutlery. I highly recommend!

Unfriendly and unwelcoming check in on Tuesday. Breakfast discusting. Coffea not real and Nestlé. There were pee stains on the toilet from the guests before. Shower only half clean. No welcome water. They don't have normal bedsheets what covers the blanket, only a sheet what's laying loose over and under it. I expect a bit more from a 4* hotel. After telling the reception, he didn't even apologize for the inconveniences. Location, mattress and view were good :)

Short break spent 2 days in bed with food poisoning. I had the carton milk on my muesli in the morning but the afternoon I had loss conscious 5 times in 4 hours, vomiting and diarrhea. The housekeeping was sent to the room to change bedding and towels. As I was leaving I told the guy about the milk and how I'll I was, he didn't seemed bothered and no notes made, then he asked me for 6 euros?? We had a suit and a coffee machine in our room that took pods, the first morning we had a coffee each, the following morning no coffee had been topped up so I asked if we could have 6 more pods for the rest of our stay. It was on leaving they charged me for the pods. So if you have no kettle in your room I'd request one and buy your own coffee, tea & milk. I'd expected to been able to make a drink at least. We were on the 1st floor, if they had entertainment at the hotel it was very noisy. Apart from that the hotel was clean and rooms nice, bit small but lovely view over the sea.

We arrived as a party of 10 late at night and were greeted with a smile with the man on the service desk. Checked in (5 rooms total) with no issues and were told they had saved some food for us as we were late arrivals. It was a lovely touch as we'd been travelling all day and none of us had eaten. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, had good, comfy beds and a small sofa and chair. We also had a balcony with two outdoor chairs and a table. The bathroom was also nice and spacious and had a really good shower and bathtub. Facilities in the hotel were also really good. We stayed All Inclusive so we had access to three buffet meals a day, all really nice with different selections every day (breakfast had different pastries and cereals each day, plus the usual cooked breakfast options, dinner and tea had a full grill section different every day which was fantastic - great variety) There was also a snack bar out by the pool which did family friendly options like pizza and burgers. Also nice. The pool bar was good and the indoor bar was cosy. The all inclusive drinks selections weren't huge but it was enough to keep you going, including a "Cocktail Of The Day" The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I would definitely visit again The only real negative I can think of is the rooms didn't provide a kettle. Apart from this though, all was fantastic. Thank you

Do not stay here. We arrived here with family, 12 of us in total and paid for all inclusive. Food was sub standard and repetitive. The all Inclusive drinks package is awful. 1 option for a beer, and a few local spirits. They offer you an option to upgrade which was €280 extra, but there was absolutely no difference. No cocktails on the all inclusive, not many options for kids for drinks, snacks. The snack bar has the same few items everyday. There was two members of staff who were honestly brilliant. But the remainder spoke to you like your were in their way and just pure ignorant. I asked the bar staff on day 1 what difference is there if I upgraded to all inclusive + and was told to go and ask the front desk for a list, to which i was then told to check behind the bar there’s a list. Honestly no one wanted to help with anything. Entertainment for kids is horrendous, usually there is activities on for the kids around the pool however there wasn’t. The life guard wouldn’t allow any sort of inflatables in the pool for the kids. All in all, the worst experience I had in Benidorm in over 5 visits. Would never stay here again.

Clean rooms, most staff were great. Couple of male staff were rude but you cant have everything. There was always something you could find to eat in the dinner hall. All inclusive rules were a little stupid but wasnt intolerable. Drinks list wasnt bad. All in all, was a good holiday. Would definitely visit again.

Maybe it’s a bit to far out for some people to walk but there’s taxis and buses available. There’s also a supermarket two minutes up the road. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights, the rooms were poorly cleaned as we had to be moved to another room, I've blonde hair, and there was black hair over the floor and in the shower and there was stuff skit up the skirting board and wall. Our window was broken and wouldn't lock. Our balcony door was broken on our 3rd night we where able to lock it up until then it looked like someone had booted it from outside as you can climb easily from one side to the other and when requested for someone to come fix it, no one was sent so my husband took pictures and went do to reception and he was told they would have no one until morning to looked at it which wasn't acceptable we hadn't had our dinner and didn't feel comfortable leaving our room with the door broken, so we were giving a new room. The hotel also doesn't cater for English people for the time of year. Food was all Spanish. Our walls were paper thin, people in the room beside may aswell of been in our bed when being intimate as their bed was bouncing off our wall making our bed move to their motion at 3am. We did enjoyed our holiday benidorm is a very nice place and we would go again, but I wouldn't say this hotel is 4*

Cleanliness of hotel is 10/10, we stayed mid Sept and the pool was quite quiet with plenty of beds around it free. The hotel is good distance walk from the new town and strip but taxis are really reasonably priced however your within walking distance to loads of shops, restaurants and bars. Would recommend this hotel however was not too fussed on the food during buffet.

My family are staying in hotel next door and they have a much better experience even thought its a 3* Cockroaches in the room when I arrived and in general not very clean… Wouldnt reccommwnd and wouldnt stay again for that Kind of money…

Stayed here for three nights in the new built deluxe building. The room we had was spectacular. We didn’t do the all inclusive package as we like to wander and try different places. Breakfast buffet was ok, food was a bit cold unless you asked for a fresh omelet. Service was friendly and well informed. Parking is available at an extra cost, my vehicle got scratched while there even though there appeared no cars close to it. We intend to revisit this hotel in the future for a special occasion, maybe even give the all inclusive a try.

Food and drinks were excellent, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets halfway through. Staff so friendly and helpful and the entertainment team worked hard. We love Levante Club Hotel & Spa! This is our second time here and can't fault it at all! Food is really nice- there is always something for everyone (who says it's not true, I wonder what super chefs they have at home). Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels every day (even though we don't leave our towels on the floor to "ask" for fresh ones). Who we love the most is the bar staff - LUCIANA, DAVID, HANNA and JEAN. No request is an issue for them, always smiling even during very busy times. And can't forget about the Twelve Entertainment team - JONNY and MAR! Every night they made us laugh and do "special" rounds, but it wouldn't be a holiday without them! We want to say huge THANK YOU to the team, who always make our holiday special and can't wait to come again.

Faced a wall and was woken up by cleaning staff squealing and laughing at silly times of the morning outside..... ask for pool side. Excellent hotel. We have just returned from two weeks there. We are Scottish and there were very few Brits staying in the hotel (which can be a good thing). The other residents were mainly elderly Spanish, so the hotel was very peaceful at night (we're 50 & 51 which was great for us that there were no Stag or Hen parties staying here). We were made to feel extremely welcome and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean (no tea or coffee but that didn't bother us) and the buffet breakfast was very good with enough British choices. The downstairs bar is absolutely beautiful but the drinks were slightly pricey with smaller measures compared to nearby bars, which meant the bar was often quite quiet. All of the evening entertainment was in Spanish which was fair enough but still enjoyable. The pool areas were excellent and fairly quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location which is close to the beach and local bars and restaurants and is a short walk into the Old Town but is far enough away from The Strip so there is no hassle and we felt very safe. Highly recommended and we would happily return. Many Thanks! 💕💕💕

Location is 10/10. What a lovely hotel, so clean and modern and all the staff and just so nice, will defo be coming back. We was half board and just loved eating here, we put lots of weight on as so good !! We had a side view room which was really nice. Bathroom is really big and it had a really good hair dryer . They give you x2 small bottles of water everyday. (only downside, no kettle and the fridge didn't work)

I stayed at the innside twice in four weeks. I had arrived approx 13:30. Booked single room I was told by reception there were no single rooms available and was offered another room. Then to be told none of the other rooms were available. Only room available was upgrade in which I had to pay another €90. Travelling alone this is quite high charge and confused why there was no single rooms left yet I had booked this. To be offered no free or reduced cost for upgrade particularly since I stayed at Innside hotel only four weeks since is not acceptable. Lovely hotel but this time cleanliness was not to max spec as before. Food not has good. Breakfast has better selection than evening. Never commented before about hotel on my last stay has all was very good. So not happy about being charged €90for upgrade on a 3 night stay.

Not a 4 star hotel. Problems from the outset when we arrived. After a long flight and travel it took us nearly 25 minutes to check in. I was then asked to sign my life away with a form that was written in Spanish and then asked ‘why I wouldn’t sign it?’. The receptionist then described what it said to me in English and then when I received a copy of it in English it said something completely different from what they described. The rooms are very basic and the carpets look like they were last replaced in the 80’s. The sunbed system is set up to create arguments - they open at 10am and it’s every man for themselves! Picture people running and jumping over themselves to get a sun bed. The service (aside from one nice lady) has been poor; you ask for a drink and they look at you like they have just asked you fly you to the moon. They are also intent on making you pay the minute you receive your drink instead of opening a tab. It feels like they think everybody is going to a runner, even though we are staying at the hotel. There’s more rules in the hotel than some schools have, it doesn’t make for a very relaxing experience. Update: waited 35 minutes to get a pint. They repeatedly refuse to serve you at the bar and then send you back to the sunbed and then ignore you. Breakfast was complete mess this morning with no tables prepared with food spread all over them and my partner was told to cover up, despite there already being multiple people sat at breakfast with similar tops on. The people next to us yesterday waited 55 minutes for a bowl of chips to arrive and it took them 25 minutes to order……

What a fabulous hotel. Directly on the sea front. Immaculately clean throughout, rooms very comfortable slept very well. Great bathroom and shower. Breakfast had something for everyone well presented with plenty of choice. The staff were lovely, especially Carolina, who is an asset to the hotel. She was always smiling and very attentive.

Hotel very warm, to the point it’s too warm so you have your window open. AC doesn’t blow cold in the winter. Be aware smoking on the hotel balconies is allowed and the smoke will travel into your room if you’re close, which we are and it goes in our window. Our hotel room now reeks of weed and cigarettes. Won’t be back, thought this was a better hotel than in the strip but it’s not worth the extra. Avoid.

Our adventures Around

Central location and honestly couldn’t recommend the Cimbel highly enough to anyone visiting Benidorm. It’s not a budget hotel so if that’s what you’re looking for move on and consider alternatives. Pool is perfect, deep and very clean. Plenty of sun loungers available around and also tables and seating allowing you to watch the views of Benidorm pass by this beautiful hotel. Staff always happy to help and have a great welcoming smile whenever you need to talk to them from arriving through to check out. First floor rooms on the front are all small pool rooms, these we would book if visiting in the future, they just give you a little more space. Our first room we had to change as previous guests had smoked in it, that’s the only negative aspect of our stay and after quickly talking to the team on reception we had an alternative room and it was absolutely perfect! Bathrooms plenty of space and shower is super powerful just how we like it! Dual sinks allowed for both of us to get ready together with no issues. Breakfast is amazing! Plenty of choice, amazing orange juice and lots of hot coffee…. The variety of fresh fruit and pastries on offer is great and constantly refreshed, make sure you try the pink coated jam cakes they are amazing!

This is amazing I’ve come from the UK with my Nana and it is amazing we are on the 12th floor with sea view and it is lovely we are right near all the shops. Food is amazing! There is a jacuzzi and about 1 pool and 3 “Pools” it is absolutely beautiful and I definitely recommend and it is quite flat and the fair all year round is right behind it.

When myself abd my husband arrived We were made to feel very welcome, a nice touch for my husbands birthday the hotel had a bottle of bubbles awaiting on our arrival with a little bowl of sweets , the room was always cleaned to high standards, the only downside was paper cups for coffee in our room. Great rooms - decent size, recently refurbished? Clean floor. And able to leave bikes in room Location - very central. Couldn’t be better. Overall ambience is great. Very close to five stars overall. The reason for dropping a star was food for vegetarians was limited particularly when looking for high protein options. And for dinner all drinks including water were paid for. There should be a free water option. A bit more noise travelled between rooms than normal so I could hear not particularly robust socialisation happening in the next door room. Overall I’d highly recommend.

Junior suite (Room 724). Exceptional room, spacious with two toilets/two bathrooms, living room and huge balcony overlooking the sea. Impeccably clean, rooms serviced each day, very comfortable bed and pillows. Room was air cooled and quiet. Hotel staff all friendly and ensuring your stay is enjoyable, breakfast is superb with wide variety of fresh fruits and cooked foods. It's an expensive hotel but location is right on the beach, quality of room and public areas makes this a good choice for a romantic break or a special holiday. Adults only hotel, so mainly older clientele.

Our first time in Benidorm. Went to celebrate a big birthday. It was an absolutely brilliant experience and the Riviera played a massive role in our enjoyment. This hotel is special. Mixed Experience – Some Hits, Some Misses We’ve got mixed feelings about Villa del Mar. Our room was a big let-down — definitely not 4-star standard. The TV barely worked, the shower door was broken, and there was damage around the door frame. We reported it to reception, but nothing was fixed during our stay, which was disappointing. That said, the rest of the hotel was actually really nice. The cocktails were amazing, no queues at the bar, and the food was good too. The chill-out bar was a lovely spot to relax, and the location is perfect — right by the beach and close to everything. Entertainment wasn’t great, though. The area where it’s held feels quite tired and in need of a refurb. Some of the staff were lovely and very friendly, but a few were quite rude, which left us with a bit of a sour taste. Overall, we enjoyed parts of our stay but wouldn’t rush back unless the rooms and service improve.

The hotel Villa del Mar is an excellent hotel with a great concept for their guests! The all inclusive concept has many possibilities in drinks and food. Hygiene is very good! Everywhere where you look everytime there is someone cleaning something. The food in the restaurant is excellent! And is worth all the 4 stars! The manager Joaquin is a great, hard working and friendly man. The whole team is working good as well. Entertainment is also really good. Every night there is something else to do! The rooms are big, clean and lovely located of you are in the front. Then you have a view over the sea. At the other side you look at the swimming pool. We definitely recommend a stay in Villa del Mar 👍

The Hotels Location is ideally placed just a small walk to lots of bars and restaurants but not a rowdy part of town. Not the best H10 I’ve stayed at for food but it was plentiful had decent choices and fine. Breakfast does need improvement fruit juices weak, and husband said omelettes not great. But we will happily return

We stayed at this hotel for three days, and as soon as we arrived, the staff was able to resolve an unexpected issue in the shortest time possible. The staff was very kind and helpful at all times. The rooms were well-equipped and very clean. The hotel's location was very strategic, very close to the city center. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We also had the opportunity to spend an afternoon at their pool, which was very clean, and we enjoyed a drink. The view was fabulous. I highly recommend it.

Starting to pack as it's nearly time to go home and we really don't want to. The Hotel is stunning. We're in a Superior Suite with Sea View and the room is gorgeous and the vista quite amazing The Food in the Restaurant is simply amazing with a real wide variety to suit all tastes. Didn't really use the Roof top pool and terrace as the beach is right across the road. What really makes this Hotel shine are the staff. They are so warm and welcoming and always with a smile.. A couple of things that I think could do with attention are 1/ Would be nice if the Hotel enforced their dress code of 'no shorts' in the restaurant at evening meal. The web site does request long trousers. 2/ Please implement a Smoking ban on room Balconies and at the outdoor seating area. There's nothing worse than having smoke wafting in your face when relaxing. Despite these 2 minor gripes my wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in what we feel is the best Hotel in Benidorm.

Lovely hotel. We wanted somewhere that was comfortable, and calm. If you want to be in the middle of everything this may not be the hotel for you, but it's not so far out that you can't access everything you want. The rooms are well-proportioned and clean. The restaurant is as good as it can be with a buffet system. It's just a few minutes walk from old town. There's a taxi rank on the way, and a cab from there to the strip is around 8 Euros. I think you'll struggle to find a hotel that's much better than this one in Benidorm. We loved it.

The staff is very professional and helpful. Speaks English very well. The hotel is luxiorious and the views amazing. A surprising thing is a lot staff you don't normally get in other hotels like perfumes for the pillows, tooth brushes, comb, even umbrella for the beach... You can even change the type of pillows or choose how you want your room to smell. I can't say a bad word about any part of the stay.

Good hotel. WiFi do not work at all in some floors. We tried to get help 4 times but we ended up using WiFi from the lobby. The pools are not heated and very cold. The ”water park” for the kids did not work at all either. Overall good but they need to fix some issues.

We love the hotel. Great for family stay with kids. We come here a few times per year. The only thing i would change - please raise the lamps 5 cm higher in the breakfast area near fruits area! Otherwise it is a disaster for tall people of 190cm. The lamps have sharp edges and are hanging around 185cm above the floor - excactly at the blind spot. You won't notice the until you hit your head.

Extremely disappointed with this hotel! Advertised as an adult hotel, this appears to be more catered for pensioners. I felt that the service from the staff was extremely disappointing. There were no “friendly staff” as noted by other reviewers, they all appeared to be more inclined to attend to the local people who occupied the hotel. The food was lovely, I can’t fault it but the restaurant was often dominated by paying locals who would also eat in the restaurant, especially at lunch time, and it was very obvious that they received a better service and attention from the staff. One local who would very often eat in the restaurant appeared to be a little crazy and would sometimes shout at guests passing as she ate. On one occasion she made a point of shouting at my family and I, as we queued alongside the long queue of locals outside the restaurant, and the locals even spoke to her about her bizarre behaviour but when I raised the issue with the restaurant staff, they didn’t appear to care and didn’t bother to speak to her and allowed her to sit on her own eating whilst making strange gestures to the guests as they passed. The pool was cold and visibly dirty with what seemed to be moss sitting at the bottom. The atmosphere around the pool was a bit of a joke. Stefan, the pool attendant was extremely rude to guests and many people I spoke with commented on his rude behaviour, particularly towards people who left their beds for any reason. On one occasion, Stefan shouted to me whilst I was in the pool to ask if the empty bed belonged to me as he appeared annoyed that someone had left their sunbed unattended for more than five minutes. It was evident that most guests were disgusted with the sunbed situation and people appeared to be afraid to leave their beds unattended fearing that their towels would be thrown off by Stefan who routinely scanned the poolside for any beds unattended for more than five minutes. I would not visit this hotel again, the location was great, amongst the busiest part of Benidorm, which I loved but I found that the hotel was extremely overrated.

I would like to thank all the staff from the reception, dinner, pool, bar and cleaning team for a wonderful stay here. One of the cleanest hotel I have stayed in and I felt the staff were lovely and so helpful especially our cleaning team on the 6th floor who helped me find the local market through the help of Google translate and helped keep our room spotless. The restaurant staff I found very pleasant and unlike another review I felt there was no issue attending to non locals. The food was lovely. The pool man was certainly on top of folk that left sunbeds however as long as you were just nipping to the loo or quickly back to room to grab something it was fine. Our group booked 3 rooms and we were all on the same floor, two together and the other was at opposite ends which wasn't a problem. All rooms are sea facing and the hotel is only one street off the beach. Our group had various ages from 30s to 60 year old and although the ages of the guests varied I would say the majority were certainly 65+. There is entertainment on every night also and a quiet lounge bar in the lobby. I didn't use the gym or bowling green.

Just returned from a 9 day stay at the Don Pancho and We can not fault anything . The hotel is an oasis of quietness in the lively resort of Benidorm . I have been to Benidorm for over 50 years (since a child ) and have stayed in many different hotels but this is the first time in the Don Pancho . We will be back . The staff are so helpful . A special shout out to Stefan at the pool who ensures that everyone gets a sun bed ( and is so attentive looking after elderly guests) . Demetri in the restaurant too was very friendly . The food was excellent and piping hot . A great selection and the fish from the hot plate especially delicious . We enjoyed the entertainment too . Some acts were better than others . Pablo Bloom was fab as was Roy Orbison and Melvin.Thank you Don Pancho We will be back.

First the good bit but please read on:- Superb, quality , high end hotel with great attention to detail and we feel should be 5 star however , the service lets it down. Do not pay by cash around the pool. First 2 times we did our change totalling 12 euros was not returned and despite raising this with guest relations nothing was done about it. 3 further instances of very rude staff including a young Spanish girl on reception. I doubt the hotel will register this but they should and then they should .

We stayed here with our small family on 2017 and again in 2025 (last week). Both times we were blown away. Customer service is great, the rooms are very clean, there's so much to do for the kids & food is very good. All the staff are helpful and seem to enjoy what they're doing. The waterpark is great, the zoo is brilliant, we were even blown away by the medieval show we attended which was also included. Both visits for us have been top notch and we will definitely return next week. Highly recommended if you have kids younger than 12yrs.

This was a brilliant resort. The staff were always friendly and helpful. They all worked really hard and never stopped. The pools were a bit small for my taste but there was a water park 10 minutes walk away that was included as part of the package. The food and drinks were good, My only real complaint would be the layout of the buffet. It was all laid out mostly along one side of the room so people tended to queue for one station and cause a massive backlog. If they had separated the stations a bit more it would have reduced congestion. The Zoo is amazing. Well laid out and all the animals look well looked after and are active, we went at different ones of say and saw something different each time. The water park was a good size and never felt overcrowded. Good selection of slides, a big main pool area and several young children's splash pools.

We spend 8 days there as a family and in total we had a great time. The place is truly made for families and has a lot of activities for kids. The zoo and the water park are really great. And the big playground in the zoo is a huge plus. The rooms are super, enough space and a little terase. All places were clean so far. The food for such a big hotel was also fine and you could always find something you like. There are two pool areas and they are absolutely fine. The stuff was not really friendly especially at the main reception. The wifi you have to renew every four hours which is a bit annoying and quite often it is not working properly (it is annoying when you need to work a little). The app was not working properly as well. We could not properly book the restaurants and the spa. The Kidsclub was super cool and they took good care. In general the team of the animation was ok but did not convince completely. Cleaning the room was just superficial which is not okay if you stay a whole week and 2 days they forgot our room completely. But the women who were cleaning the rooms were super super friendly and polite. Especially in comparison to the rest of the stuff. Our daughter loved the vacation and for us it was okay. Most probably we would not repeat it as for me the service is one of the most important points for creating a holiday mood. Question: what is happening with all the food the guests are not eating? Is it thrown away or can you somehow reuse it afterwards for the zoo etc. This was quite shocking how the guests were overfeeding and just eating the half of the plates. Thanks, Dankeschön

Really great for the kids. Long queues at all bars that need sorting, can be 20 minutes to get a drink, only 1 staff member on most of the time. Great choice of food in buffet. Some really excellent staff at times, but also experienced a couple of rude ones too. Carlos in particular was fantastic. So helpful and friendly, he couldn't do enough to help us. The zoo and water park are fantastic, although, again, queues to get food or drink just far too long. Lots of evening entertainment, cant be faulted, lots of variety and fun for the kids. The foam party in the pool was amazing all the children and adults loved it.

Having stayed nearly a week at this resort, we had enjoyed ourselves. My daughter loved the water park and the zoo. The service in the restaurant always has a good choice of food but can be hit and miss, However, you can always find something. Carlos Antonio was very helpful with our service in the restaurant and was professional and happy. The train that takes you to and from the waterpark, zoo and resort is very handy and it's free. All the wonderful cleaning staff work so hard to make the beds everyday and make sure the rooms are clean. Was easy to book taxi from the main reception and all the staff was very helpful when answering questions. There alot to do here and I would definitely recommend it for families with children.

I stayed at the hotel with my family for four nights. Rooms: Let’s start with the fact that you can hear everything from outside — there’s a lot of noise during busy seasons, including music playing until midnight and sounds from neighboring rooms and hallways. The room design is outdated but functional. We’re a family of five, and the room size suited us well. It was clean. After reading reviews about the elevators, we asked for a lower floor, which turned out to be a great decision — the elevators are indeed very slow. Staff: The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Location: The hotel’s location is excellent — close to the beach, fairly central, with a supermarket and some shops nearby. When we wanted to go further out, it was difficult to find a taxi that could accommodate five people. After waiting a long time, we decided to take a public bus instead, which turned out to be affordable and convenient. Food: There was plenty of food and a good variety, but unfortunately, it didn’t suit our taste. However, the dining room and all public areas were clean and well maintained. On one of the days, we took the hotel shuttle to the Robin Hood Hotel, and it was a very pleasant day. Overall: Our biggest issue was the noise — it was hard to relax in the room due to constant sounds from outside and neighboring rooms at all hours

Fantastic Family Holiday – Something for Everyone! 5 stars We stayed at Hotel Tropical Splash in Costa Blanca as a family of four with two teenagers (15 and 17) and had a brilliant time! The hotel was very clean throughout—our room was cleaned daily, and the staff worked incredibly hard to keep the entire resort tidy, even with so many guests around. The buffet-style food was great with plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was also a snack bar open most of the day, offering everything from quick bites to ice cream, which our teens especially enjoyed. The location was ideal—only a short 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach and a bus stop just outside the hotel. Buses ran every 15–20 minutes to Benidorm or the Old Town, and at just €1.60 per person, it was a budget-friendly way to get around. Staff were also happy to call a taxi if needed. We booked the Ultra All-Inclusive package, which was packed with extras like access to the zoo, water park, spa (for over 16s), and even a medieval show. We also had the option of dining in two on-site restaurants or a selection of off-site cafes. We mainly made use of the spa and zoo, but the package offers fantastic value—especially for families with younger children who want to make the most of all the included activities. Before arriving, we were a bit concerned after reading some of the negative reviews, but thankfully our experience was completely different. We had a wonderful week and would happily return. I was really hoping to give 4 stars to Magic Tropical Splash Hotel & up until our last 24 hours, I was going to. Firstly, I think 3 stars is fair for the hotel. The rooms are a really good size, good amenities, very clean but are a little dated (personally not a problem for me - as long as things work - which they did). The pool area is great. Again, clean, tidy, enough space & activities across the day. The standard of the drinks for a 3 star all-inclusive was also a better standard than I had expected, AND staff were polite & helpful. For the food, it was average but plenty of choice. We stuck to vegetarian as we had read multiple reviews about illness after eating here, so we wanted to play safe considering we were only there for 4 days. Unfortunately, my friend chose the chickpea stew at lunch to find it had fish in it (another side issue - food like salads & stews aren't clearly labelled for dietry requirements) & later that early evening was badly sick with diarrhoea all through the night. As we were checking out the next day but not being picked up until 7pm, I requested at reception for us to have a small room my friend could rest in as she was still being sick. The senior reception staff & hotel duty manager did arrange this free of charge however not before me having to ask & explain 3 times. They didn't show any sympathy & told me I couldn't be sure it was the food here. They felt on the hard defensive with a little bit of sarcasm thrown in, rather than working to help us regardless of what had happened. So, all in all, yes I would go back as it did have highlights, but the reviews here about food, from my experience, need to be taken seriously. Stick to veggie or just do bed & drinks.

I can honestly say that after some of the reviews, my wife and I were worried, but having stayed here for seven nights, I can honestly say it's been amazing. Our two girls are sad to be going home tomorrow. It is not the hotel's fault or the staff's fault that some people cannot look after their children and let them run wild. The rooms are fantastic; everything you could possibly need. We have stayed in four- and five-star hotels with worse rooms. The food is actually quite good; there is absolutely something for everyone. We personally loved the entertainment every night. We did sit one night and listen to a group of people badmouthing the show and swearing while our young children were there. In my eyes, if you don't like it, then go, but everyone around them enjoyed it. The fellow who walks around and makes sure the kids are safe, etc., is fantastic. Our girls personally thought he was brilliant. I see people writing about the pool being cold; it is, but it's an outdoor pool. It's lovely on a warm day. It didn't stop us from enjoying it. We will definitely be back; in fact, we can't wait.

Review: Magic Tropical Splash – Disappointing Experience I recently stayed at Magic Tropical Splash and unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. Management and Staff: The overall management was quite unprofessional. Issues that were raised weren’t handled appropriately or with any real concern. While the bar staff were lovely—friendly, helpful, and a real credit to the hotel, the same can’t be said for the restaurant staff, who were often rude and dismissive. Safety and Conduct: One of the most concerning issues was observing lifeguards taking photos of children in the pool on their personal mobile phones. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious privacy and safeguarding concerns. Food Quality: The food was another letdown, with some dishes served undercooked or raw. This is not only disappointing but also poses a health risk, especially in a family resort. There are a few positives—such as the nice pool area and the friendly bar staff—but unfortunately, they were overshadowed by the more serious concerns around staff professionalism, food safety, and questionable conduct by the lifeguards. Would I return? Sadly, no. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and implements changes to improve safety, service, and overall guest experience.

We come here year after year sometimes twice a year. This time it was with my husbands mum, aunties and uncle. We always get the club rooms. Love the rooftop pool and bar. On the 2nd night we were in the lounge to midnight took a drink back to my room so got there about 12.05am we had security at the door at 12.25am saying if we didn't keep the noise down he would phone the police. We were talking. We took thus further and the hotel said they had it down he came at 3.30am which is nonsense. Was supposed to hear back from the hotel but still nothing. Put a dampener on the rest of our holiday. I always give this hotel a great review but disappointed this year.

We have just come home today 😥 and had a great time. The staff are all lovely, drinks are great and there is a good variety, pink lady cocktail was a firm favourite. We found the entertainment to be really entertaining and the football pitch was a great bonus. The pool is lovely albeit a bit of a labyrinth trying to navigate around the sunbeds which are just everywhere. It's pretty much if there's a space one will fit then one goes there. Very haphazard and felt like you were on top of each other, no personal space. I was shocked at the state of it come 7pm! The mess the guests left was disgusting but that's not the hotel's fault at all, plenty of bins around. Bracing myself now but.....I found one downside to the hotel was the food. Not saying there's not a lot of variety or that it's not fresh, the fruit and cold meats, salad and cheeses are delicious, good job really because that's all my daughter ate. Snack bar toasties and burgers are winners. Breakfast was generally good too aside from cold pancakes. I just found the standard to be a bit low and bland. Some strange dishes too for example baby carrots and pickled onions in a beef Rogan josh 🤔 and mushrooms that seem to be cooked in vinegar. Also it didn't help that I got food poisoning on Tuesday and couldn't face anything then. So yes we did eat out a couple of times. Great location to have a couple of evenings out. The bars across the roads are good for live acts and 12 mins to the beach. Kids loved it and already want to come back. Overall I'd say it's exactly what I'd expect from a 4 star all inclusive in school holidays.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Me and 1 of my friends. This hotel is more of a family hotel don’t really see younger people in this place. Only bad point we really had was the WIFI in the room was not good at all and the shower pressure wasn’t the best. Apart from them 2 issues everything was perfect! They had really nice cocktails on the all inclusive offer. We upgraded to the club room would recommend that we was on the 21st floor lovely view we had up there, we also had a private bar on the 24th floor that only club members can use, this is a self service bar and was really good up there. The food was ok but wasn’t many option to pick from. But overall it was a good stay and would come back!

A great hotel, especially for the family. While dinner and snacks are served at great times, it would be nice to have a menu in advance as some of the items available are not to everyone’s taste. Rooms are clean and spacious with plenty of room for 4 adults. Evening entertainment is fantastic with plenty of variety. Tom from the entertainment staff is an absolutely fantastic host with a great personality. Karaoke is definitely one to try out! Thank you for a great holiday!

We recently stayed at Flamingo Oasis Hotel in Benidorm, and I’m sad to say the experience was very disappointing, especially for a family-friendly hotel. I’m sharing this to help others make an informed decision. 1. Rude and Frustrated Bar Staff I understand it’s a busy time with many people on holiday, but being busy doesn’t justify poor service. Bar staff were visibly annoyed, and I often felt uncomfortable placing an order. One particular incident stood out—a guest asked for a drink not included in the all-inclusive package, and instead of politely informing them, the staff member responded rudely. It felt like they didn’t want to be there or serve guests at all, which is not what you expect from hospitality staff. 2. Poor Cleanliness & Limited Food Options Plates in the restaurant were often dirty or had food stains, and I had to search each time for a clean one. Glasses at the drinks counter had a horrible rotten egg smell, making it difficult to drink even water. Additionally, food choices were very limited—far fewer options compared to other family resorts we’ve stayed in across Europe and even other parts of Spain. This was especially disappointing considering the hotel’s “all-inclusive” offering. 3. Room Issues and Hygiene Concerns Our room was uncomfortably hot, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly. We reported it several times, but nothing was done. While the room was cleaned daily, the bedsheets were never changed during our stay. This was particularly concerning since we had our 4-month-old baby with us. Thankfully, my wife had packed our own throw and towels for the baby’s hygiene. Towels were replaced but not cleaned properly—they had a terrible smell, again similar to egg wash, as if no detergent had been used. It was unpleasant and unhygienic to dry off after a shower with them. Final Thoughts This hotel may look appealing on the surface, but basic standards of hygiene and hospitality were lacking. For the price and its supposed family-friendliness, we expected much more. I wouldn’t recommend Flamingo Oasis, especially to families with young children. There are better-maintained and more welcoming options in Benidorm and across Spain.

We had a lovely stay in a level, marina view room in the Melia. The room was very comfortable and the staff were exceptional. In particular thanks to Gloria and Rokio in the lounge who took such great care of us and in helping to cater for my food intolerances. It is worth paying for the level service which includes free drinks, tapas, snacks and is a lovely place to retreat to for a rest. The hotel restaurant is very good and staff, particularly Juanjo, are friendly. The restaurant is waiter service and there was a good choice of food included in half board. We have stayed at this hotel before and will have no hesitation in returning.

The staff at the level were so friendly, the level itself is child free area, free breakfast wine beer Coca Cola etc. the breakfast is really good, so many options with smiley staff making fresh omlettes. It wasn’t just continental breakfast but had bacon, sausage etc. the little things go along way, for example the cups are refrigerated to make sure your drink is ice cold. The sun does go behind the hotel but you just sunbathe near the pool. The chairs could be a bit more spaced out as it does feel a bit close together. We were situated quite far from the level but we didn’t think it was that bigger deal. Hotel staff are so pleasant, rooms are super clean, bed comfy (although pillows are fairly soft). Overall worth every penny.

My dad had a very serious fall during our stay, and the hotel staff offered no assistance, seemingly avoiding responsibility. We had to call emergency services ourselves. Instead of enjoying our time at the hotel, we spent it at the hospital. Initially, the hotel mentioned they would address our poor experience, but when we tried to extend our stay because my dad was still in the hospital, they offered a room at a higher rate than our original booking. The guest experience manager admitted to being aware of my dad’s fall from the start, despite another staff member claiming no one knew. They also refused to investigate the cause of the fall. On the day we were supposed to check out, they sent someone at 9:30 AM to ensure we left on time. The entire experience was terrible—there was no compassion, and the hotel is overpriced. I do not recommend staying here

First time in Benidorm, was slightly apprehensive about what it would be like… the hotel was beautiful, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and very helpful.. the rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfy. The breakfast choice was huge and everything was fresh and well presented. The hotel bar was comfortable and the drinks were great value however, the roof top bar is a must.. nicest cocktails I have had in a long while. To be aware - the lifts can be slightly confusing and there is building work on the new wing of the hotel, which never bothered us (but worth being aware). Overall I would give a 5/5 and would most certainly stop again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Port Benidorm Hotel. It was spotlessly clean throughout, the food was delicious with a great choice each and every day. The roof terrace bar is absolutely beautiful with views of the most amazing sunsets over Benidorm. The location of the hotel was 10/10. Yes, there are building works whilst they are building the extension, but the main structure is now in place, so the noise was minimal and certainly didn't disrupt our stay and time at the pool each day. The staff were all wonderful and hard working, and i have booked to come back in October this year.

Perfect location with a sea view and 2 minutes walk to the beach. Been to lots of hotels in Benidorm and this one is by far the best one. Food was great and bar was fantastic with a different cocktail every day 🍸🍹I’m pretty sure this will be our first choice next year.

Lovely hotel and location, great staff and great food but cold plates with hot food on self service was a bit disappointing. This is my second visit to this hotel and I will be back however; the new extension looks onto buildings at back of hotel so not sure if you would get a sea view from that position. I'm sure that once completed we will have a better understanding. Would recommend that the hotel provide a small flyer advising people of local bus/rail services at their disposal, particularly if on a budget and not wanting to taxi to local destinations.

Location great, close to everything. Thin paper walls. If you are in the last floor you will hear the kitchen noise and anyone who is in the corridor. If you go during “Semana Santa”, you won’t be able to sleep due to the drums and music outside until very late. Everything can be heard from outside, even if you are in the top floors. There’s only two little elevators for 26 floors, with capacity for four people. Creating long waiting times, and squishing yourself with other people. Super expensive for what it is. If you pay for having dinner included, you will have very little options to choose from (3), not even one drink included, you have to pay extra for that. At least the waiters and waitresses are nice. It smells really bad in the corridors and elevators. Like something is rotten. After leaving the hotel we get an unknown charge on our card of over 100€ (when we haven’t used anything from the mini bar, nor broken anything, the drinks at the restaurant were paid with cash). The walls have creases everywhere, in the very VERY thin balcony there’s humidities in the roof. The only good thing is the views.

I’m very disappointed with this hotel, the hotel is the worst experience I ever had in my travel to Spain in past few years. First of all, I booked the room with sea view, the sea view feather was specially mentioned on their website, there is nowhere on their website said the sea view room is not guaranteed. However, when I arrived they told me there is no sea view room available, what they said on the website is not guaranteed, what a joke! you paid extra for the sea view room and you’re told it’s not guaranteed, I never been to any hotel can’t give the room what you paid for. The even worst part was after I complaint, they said they can only give me the room for 1 night(instead of 3 nights), and it’s non-sea view room and I have to argue with them again, they’re just tell you you’re not guaranteed to get the sea view room. In case the hotel tried to argue here, I also attached their website booking which there is no mention you’re not guaranteed to get this type of room. Secondly, the other review mentioned of sewage smell and noise is accurate, the hotel is by the road and very noisy, and we stayed in 2 different rooms and both have the unpleasant smell. And the hotel is no where near 4 stars. The only thing positive about this hotel is centrally located, but it there’re many other hotels nearby to choose from.

Great location but the hotel itself looks like a rundown block of flats. Thin walls so the people next door kept me up and even being on the 11th floor people outside kept me up every night. Room looked and felt very old and warn. Chips out of the wall and marks all over. Balcony wasn't worth having as so tiny and just full of broken tiles on the ground. Bathroom mirror wasn't cleaned very well before my arrival. If you want a chilled night in there's nothing in the hotel but a small bar.

Beautiful view overlooking the marina and the castle. Very close to everything, all the hustle and bustle with areas to visit. A good paella wasn't too far to get for great service. This place provided what was simply needed for a week's stay. Not too far from casino and areas of interest. The view is the selling point. Afterwards best to travel along coast up to Valencia and visit the cities along the way.

Great location by Marina and great views from our room on the 15th floor. We have views over Marina and Castle Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included in price and has a varied choice to suit all. And lots of cakes and pastries 🍰😋

I had a really nice and pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very nice, we had a sea view suite, the balcony was really big, I think because the room is at a corner so the balcony was L-shaped so it was very long and big balcony, the hotel is right at the sea front, so when I sat at the balcony and looked right at the sea , I felt like I was on a ship, the room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable, it is just flawless. The jacuzzi and sauna was also very nice, though there were 2 occasions when I went to the sauna, it wasn’t turned on and it was such a big disappointment. The hotel provides towels at the swimming pool but there is no clear sign and indication of where to get a towel, so might need to go inside the restaurant bar to ask. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly, breakfast and dinner were delicious though buffet breakfast selection was a bit limited, the location of the hotel is very central, and very close to the Sandy beach, it is a very nice hotel I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely hotel right by the port. Our room was the junior suite and it had a magnificent view of the sea and the beach. I would recommend a room facing the water as the port side can get very crowded and loud at night. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Two little pools. I would definitely return here.

We had a lovely time here. We went with the premium sea view room and it didn't disappoint. Biggest minus was that the tvs seemed a bit old and there was no fridge except the mini fridge so storing your own items was not possible. Otherwise, great help from the receptionists as well as the staff at the breakfast center and pool area.

The good points are it has an excellent location, a very clean hotel and would recommend booking the Spa. The bad bits, I treated us to a junior suite but unfortunately this room was not suitable for a father and teenage son. This particular room has a bathroom which is completely open plan with clear glass around the shower and no toilet door, this resulted in us using the toilets in the bar area and also having to leave the room when my son wanted a shower. Another issue for us was it clearly lists on booking.com the room comes with a sofa bed, this was not the case and on arrival there was just one double bed, after complaining at reception (who argued with me) they finally placed two single beds in the room and promised to move us the following day, unfortunately we didn't hear anymore regarding the move and I didn't pursue further as the receptionists were argumentative. The reception staff argued that I should have informed them that I required two single beds, however I was expecting the sofa bed so two singles wasn't required. The room is probably more suitable for couples, but even then I can't understand the toilet not having a door.

Really enjoyed our stay, rooms were great, very big bed (memory foam) fantastic views of the marina, if you want the sun on your belcony in the evening then best to have a room on the marina side, the trade off is you will get a bit of noise from the bars across the road.
