Tulum

A true paradise escape, Tulum's sensational coastline offers picture perfect beaches of soft talcum-powder sands and sparkling turquoise sea with vegetation softening the magnificent rocks that frame the coastline and provide areas of seclusion and privacy for many lazy days.  If this doesn't grab  your attention then paramount to a Tulum escape is also the magnificent history to be discovered along the way and the impressive location of Mayan ruins facing out over the beautiful coast.

This is primarily a beach lover's paradise with fairly unspoilt surroundings making this a beautiful location. A variety of luxury and exclusive hotels can be found in Tulum along with lovely beach cabanas. The luxury hotels provide a great deal of in-house entertainment and a variety of restaurants but Tulum town centre also has many value restaurants frequented by locals too.  Tulum is a popular location that is perfect for relaxing beach life and as the base for a wider exploration of the Riviera Maya.

Activities

Tulum's Mayan history is most evident in the fabulous location of the Castillo ruins. Perched on rocks looking over the shimmering sea, this is a popular jaunt for day trips.  Other Mayan ruins can be found close by in Coba and with the coastline stretching all along the popular Riviera Maya, there is always more than enough to see and do.

Boasting the second-largest coral reef in the world, the Riviera Maya opens up a world of beautiful marine discovery via 600 miles of coral reef, clear waters for snorkelling and viewing the many species and cenotes (sink holes) and caves for swimming. Adventure parks also boast many thrilling aquatic experiences, both natural and man-made to suit all types of holiday-maker.

Shopping, dining, entertainment and fabulous wildlife, mangroves and natural terrain make this part of Mexico such a stunning holiday location.
