After thirty years of visiting the island we have stayed in lots of different accommodation and this time it's been a pleasure. Are room is cleaned everyday and the beds are made which is a big thing for us . There's a lovely big pool which is kept clean and the views all around are beautiful. The restaurant has a good range of food so you will always find something you like. The staff are very friendly and work really hard , we can't fault them they are so lovely . We have heard a few moans( the weather , the star rating, to quite !!!) from a couple of people but this is Greece roll with and enjoy it . We are coming back in September 😊

Well we had a blooming super holiday here. Quiet and remote, exactly what we wanted. We booked some excursions before we travelled so we mixed things up when we wanted, taking ourself offsite occasionally. Rooms were basic, but super clean. Bed was sooo comfy (firm). Food was decent, but if you don’t eat meat it was a little limited on occasions. We used the hotel bikes to explore one day. A tough gig as it very mountainous, so tough inclines to cycle. Pool was cold, slightly warmer in the afternoon, but it was used a lot, everyone seemed to find it refreshing. They provide a mini bus (between 10am and 5pm) to the local (very small) beach which allows you to top up on things from supermarket for your room/suncream etc. There are also a couple of restaurants/cafe’s. Be warned there is no shop, kiosk, anything on site at the hotel and taxi’s are expensive. All the staff at the hotel were brilliant, friendly, approachable and engaging, and that can often make or break a holiday. We enjoyed it a lot!

Had a great week here,all the staff were happy and helpful. All areas were clean and well looked after. All inclusive menu was very good,drinks were what you would expect (beer is not strong) for the cost level. Only downside is the rooms are basic and do need updating. Other reviews have said it is remote; yes it is, can't believe you would book somewhere without looking at location on a map beforehand!

The perfect budget-friendly retreat for a peaceful week far from noise and traffic. It is located on a hill and the views are wonderful. I truly wonder about previous negative ratings! The food is GREAT, the variety and the taste as well! The staff is helpful and always with a smile. No problem with the wifi, no congestion, perfect signal in all the Hotel grounds. The free bus service to the beach nearby is added value to the wonderful time we had!

We have just had a week at Kerri Village, we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there, the flowers that was organised for me from my husband were absolutely gorgeous. what can I say, wow, wow, wow it was so relaxing, the staff were very friendly and work so hard there to make sure you have the best time, nothing was to much for them, the food is fantastic, the suite we staid in was really nice, the room was cleaned every day, we will definitely be coming back next year.

Filoxenia is best described as modest. It doesn't have much, but what it does have, it does well. Not a bad hotel if you just want to eat, drink, and lounge. It is made up of two areas separated by a dirt road, each area has a pool and rooms. One area has the reception, and the other has the bar, restaurant etc. The whole hotel was very clean and tidy. Our room was based in the area attached to the reception. The room was nice and modern. But like with many modern showers and basins, they do not drain well. The bathroom would flood partially after each shower, this was an inconvenience. We had two single beds pushed together (I'm not sure if we had the opportunity to chose a single king or queen bed), and one of the beds had the tendency to move away from the other, which was another inconvenience. There was no way to lock this bed in place. The mattresses were of the firm spring type, which I didn't like. That being said, I made do, and I didn't bother asking if I could be given a foam mattress topper. I also understand that you have to pay for AC, it's something like 10 EUR a day. It wasn't hot enough for me to ask about this, but if it is 10 EUR then I think that is a lot. The restaurant was okay. The food was good. The selection was on the smaller side, but this makes sense considering the size of the hotel. This didn't bother me as I eat almost everything. As the restaurant is a buffet, you have to squeeze past other tables with food in your hands to get to your table which is a inconvenience. And that's about it. The staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. It's about a 25 min walk from the hotel to the beach. 15 min walk to town.

The staff were incredibly helpful and chatty when asked questions, the pools were fantastic and the food delicious. I'm particularly grateful to Dennis for helping me out with a wardrobe malfunction just before a wedding. The TV wasn't working but to be honest we wouldn't really have used it much when we had our phones and tablets. I highly recommend this hotel and hope we get the chance to go again some day.

Absolutely loved our stay at the filoxenia, me and my wife Sophia were looked after so well. The food was amazing, the pool was lovely and the location was brilliant. The front desk staff were super knowledgeable and helpful, giving us tips for the area and made out stay super enjoyable! Will definitely be returning!

First thing to say is the staff here are fantastic. Very friendly and helpful The hotel seems to be spread over two sites right on a tight bend of the main road into Tislivi. We stayed in the newer building. The room was spacious with a balcony. I would say it's a bit tight in the shower/toilet. It was advertised that there were 3 swimming pools. Well one of those pools is a small toddler pool. The other two were a decent size seemed clean no complaints. There are bars near both of the big pools and local beers and spirits are included in the hotels all inclusive deal. Food is breakfast (7.30am to 10.30am) lunch (12.30 pm to 2.30pm) and dinner (7.30pm to 9.30). We went mid May and at no time did we have an issue getting seated. Food was OK if not outstanding. Salads and cheese were very nice. Bread was always available as we're both hot and cold drinks. Hot food was available at all three meal times. Not always to my taste but I always found something. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk into town. Not all of the road has a footpath. Be careful. We never did the walk after dark. There is also a bus running between Tislivi and Zakynthos town.

Would definitely go back there was lovely kept gardens, they had three pools one for younger children. Staff were polite and very approachable if you needed anything they would sort it. They had a shuttle bus to take you down to the beach or it was a nice flat road you could walk down. The food was brilliant there was always something for everyone.would really recommend this hotel. We stayed for two weeks. Thank you to all the staff. We had a fantastic break away

We booked a one week stay at Diana Palace for the beginning of the season. We had a lovely time overall. The room was great and very clean. We would definitely recommend getting a room with a hot tub as it makes for a good relaxing time after a day of visiting around the island. The food at the buffet restaurant was amazing, with a lot of variety every day and freshly prepared meals. There's something for everyone including children. A big shout out to Elena for the entertainment every night which made our stay very enjoyable. It is also a very good way to connect with other vacationers. The hotel also offers very good tours around the island. Thank you Ian for all the great advice and helping us organise some of the tours we booked. Finally, the island of Zakynthos is definitely worth visiting even before the peak season. A lot of activities, bars, clubs and restaurants only open from the 1st of May but there's still many things to see as it's one of the prettiest Greek islands we've went to so far.

An Unforgettable Family Getaway at Diana Palace, Argassi! We recently stayed at Diana Palace in Argassi as a family of four—myself, my wife, and our two children—and we truly had the most incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made us feel welcome and at home. The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk down the road to the beautiful beach, which was a huge bonus for the kids. The hotel grounds are stunning, with two lovely pools that are ideal for both adults and children. Whether we wanted to relax or splash around with the kids, there was always space and a perfect vibe. When it comes to food, Diana Palace exceeded all expectations. The restaurant offered a huge variety of delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, catering to all tastes and dietary needs. Every meal felt like a treat, and even snack times were thoughtfully prepared with tasty choices available throughout the day. Our kids especially loved the desserts! As for the drinks—exceptional! Whether it was a fresh juice in the morning, a refreshing soft drink for the kids, or a well-mixed cocktail for the grown-ups in the evening, everything was top quality and served with a smile. All in all, Diana Palace is the perfect family hotel. We made wonderful memories, enjoyed fantastic food, and felt completely relaxed from start to finish. We would absolutely return—and highly recommend it to any family looking for a mix of comfort, beauty, and fun in Argassi!

We recently stayed at Diana Palace Hotel in Zante and had a mostly enjoyable experience, with a few areas for improvement. Highlights: Ana and Stathis at the pool bar were absolute stars. Their customer service was phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and always made us feel welcome. The pool area itself is fantastic: very clean, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing. Entertainment and activities were led by Eleanor, who was brilliant—full of energy and enthusiasm. However, some of the equipment could use a bit of TLC. The darts were worn out and the water basketball net could do with replacing. The spa was another high point—lovely atmosphere and the girls working there were incredibly welcoming and skilled. A real treat! Our room was fine and cleaning standards throughout the stay were very good. That said, I was quite disappointed with the room setup. We booked a family-sized room but were given two rooms with 4 beds for 2 adults and a baby. Since our little one wasn’t ready for a bed, we had to rent a crib for an extra €5 per night, which felt unreasonable given we’d already booked a family room. A baby changing facility would also be a helpful addition for guests traveling with young children. Food-wise, while the taste was generally great, the variety was lacking—it became repetitive fairly quickly. Late night entertainment was mediocre. The singers weren’t much better than the guest karaoke participants, so not really something we looked forward to. All in all, there’s a lot to like about Diana Palace, especially the people who work there, but a few small changes could make a big difference.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Diana Palace! 🥰 The hotel is full of life, and booking directly came with great perks like a free transfer, a safe deposit box, and a lovely welcome sparkling wine in our room. We stayed in a newly renovated room, which was modern and comfortable, though there is also a non-renovated block 💯 The hotel has two pools—always lively but still great for relaxation. The all-inclusive package offers food all day, with plenty of options from the buffet, making it a great value. Drinks were standard for an all-inclusive, but the wine was particularly enjoyable. Our favorite night was the Greek Night, and on other evenings, live music added to the atmosphere. While we loved relaxing at the hotel during the day, the nights were perfect for exploring beyond Argassi—taking a walk to the beach, dancing at Magic Club, or playing mini golf. The resort is small but well-located, just a short distance from Zakynthos Town. The highlight of our stay was the incredible concierge, Ian, who arranged the best turtle tour for us and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Overall, Diana Palace is a fantastic all-inclusive hotel with great service, a lively atmosphere, and a perfect location for both relaxation and adventure! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My stay at Diana Palace Zakynthos was fantastic. From the warm welcome and smooth check-in to the modern, comfortable room with a private-use pool, everything exceeded my expectations. The buffet-style meals were delicious, offering a variety of Greek and international dishes. The hotel’s two outdoor pools, three bars, and entertainment programs created a lively yet relaxing atmosphere.

I spent a week at Gardelli Resort and had been looking forward to it for a long time. The photos online made it look amazing — but unfortunately, the reality was very different. - Misleading Presentation The promotional photos are not representative of what you actually find on arrival. The hotel’s surroundings were dirty and noisy, completely at odds with the peaceful escape I was hoping for. - Room & Facilities Issues Our room’s air conditioning didn’t work, which made sleeping very uncomfortable in the July heat. The elevator was constantly broken, which became a daily inconvenience. - Pool Situation If you want to use a sun lounger by the pool, be prepared to wake up at 5 a.m. to reserve it with a towel. Every lounger was “taken” early in the morning — yet no one was actually at the pool. This was incredibly frustrating and poorly managed. - Food & Atmosphere The food was nearly the same every day with very little variety. Adding to the discomfort, loud techno music was played almost constantly. This is not a relaxing environment, and it’s definitely not a place I’d recommend for families with children. - Inappropriate Staff Behavior What disturbed me most was the behavior of a “manager” at the pool bar who seemed to focus on young women, offering them free drinks and clearly trying to flirt. It was uncomfortable and felt inappropriate. - Not a 4-Star Experience Based on everything I experienced, I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel is rated as 4 stars. The quality and service were far below that standard.

The food at the place is absolutely disgusting!!! A booking of 5 of us paid all inclusive for 2 weeks, I ate breakfast once, evening meal 3 times maximum. Most of the barstaff are lovely, the management are absolutely vile! If they can try and charge you extra for ANYTHING they will. I wouldn't feed the food on offer to my dogs. Such a shame because the hotel itself & the location are perfect.

The bartender Adonis looked after us very well and was very generous with drinks always serving with a smile and a laugh. Thank you so much to Julia as-well, she goes above and beyond with her service as a waitress and she is very kind. They both deserve a raise!!!

The rooms were very good. The hotel has two pools, a restorant, a bar, a snak bar and another bar close to the sea to the big pool. The food was also good. The staff was lovely. And the manager of the hotel was very kind and helpful. If I ever came again in Zante I will came back there again.

It was a beautiful place to stay! Lovely Breakfast, lunch and dinner service with variety of food options. Staff were lovey! Two of the young girls (Alessia and Giulia) were very welcoming, getting us involved with the Activities that are provided throughout the day! Also made sure too chat with people during the Entertainment, dancing and laughing with us all making our experience a great time! Very friendly people! I would defiantly recommend this hotel as a place to stay! Beautiful area too with shops near by.

AluaSoul Zakynthos holds a very special place in our hearts — it is the only resort we keep coming back to. Last year alone, we visited three times, and this year we are returning again, this time bringing friends with us to share the magic! It is definitely a solid 4-star resort, though it could easily be seen as a 4-star-plus. The rooms, while they could benefit from a light refresh here and there, are very comfortable. We always upgrade to the best sea-front room — the view is absolutely breathtaking. There is also a private beach just down a set of rocky steps, with the clearest water and so many fish. It is a hidden gem for swimming and relaxing. The food has always been really good, with a huge variety in the main buffet-style restaurant. There is something for everyone, and it is a true all-inclusive — beer and wine are even available on self-serve taps in the restaurant, which we love. What truly makes AluaSoul special though, are the people. We have made lasting friendships with the staff and stayed in touch with many of them. Maria, Mania, Toni, Alex, John, Alejandro… just to name a few. They are warm, fun, and full of banter — always there when needed, but also right in the middle of those lighthearted, unforgettable moments. It is rare to find so many great characters in one place — and it is a huge part of why we keep coming back. Highly recommend this resort if you want a relaxed, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable holiday experience. Counting down the days until we’re back!

Was an okay stay. There was no lift so you would have to carry your bags to your room. The bed had some mold on the corner that looked like it had been there for a while and all they did was replace the bed. Most of the staff are friendly enough and the location seems okay for where it is but I felt the overall experience did not reflect a 4 star experience. IMO I'd look elsewhere for a luxury stay as this place gets very loud in the later evenings and has none of the standard facilities a 4 star would usually have.

I’ve stayed at AluaSoul for a week and have really enjoyed my experience. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was great. The entertainment, good. Something for everyone. Alessia and Giulia were amazing ! They ran some of the entertainment throughout the day and were so welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay here again !

Myself and my partner stayed at AluaSoul for 1 week from 27th May, and sadly we were a bit disappointed with our experience considering this is supposed to be a 4 star resort. When we arrived, we were immediately being upsold to pay for the My Favourites Club option which is €55 per day per person (we declined). No one offered to show us to our room, then we had to call down to reception ask for water as there was none left for us in the room upon arrival. The receptionist gave us a small bottle each and then added they don’t usually give them out from reception, I felt quite awkward about this but what do they expect people to do after travelling for hours?! Water is the most basic thing you can give your guests… All very odd! Furthermore, the food was not good. I’m vegetarian and was finding a lot of the salads had bits of ham in them which was frustrating but even my partner struggled with the meat options - all looked very unappetising and the sauces were often gloopy. There was also a problem with birds flying in and eating from the buffet which was really off-putting. The pool area was nice enough, although small details like sticky dirty side tables by the loungers was a bit of a shame - could have done with a bit more TLC. However the lady at the pool bar was very nice and was always generous with the rum in our cocktails! One highlight I’d like to mention is the two girls running the entertainment at the hotel. They were absolutely lovely, super funny and engaging and I always looked forward to doing yoga with them in the evenings. Thank you Alessia & Giulia, you made our stay!

The friendliest place to stay! Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are super comfortable and the air con keeps you at a good temperature. Swim up rooms are luxurious with a big sun bed and large patio area for sitting out in warm weather. Main pool area is large and clean, with sun loungers, tables & chairs, and fire pits. Good drinks variety with local wine, beer and good cocktails - highly recommend the Castelli cocktail in particular! There’s a good variety of food for all three meals, which is tasty and hot. Fresh cook station at lunch and dinner produced some fantastic pasta and grilled meat/fish. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they bring a smile to your face every day! The evening entertainment was wonderful and we had an amazing time. There is a supermarket open late a short walk away with all your holiday needs and it’s only a 5 minute stroll down to the beach! We organised a snorkelling trip via the hotel with Divers Paradise and it was amazing! We plan to return next year to get our open water certification for scuba, and will be staying at Castelli! We also organised massages through the hotel and they were just brilliant - I only wish the curtains around the massage area were a little more opaque!

The hotel was filled with elderly people—so much so that my boyfriend and I felt uncomfortable even trying to relax by the pool. Getting a sunbed was practically impossible because everyone would reserve one early in the morning with a towel. It’s unbelievable that the hotel allows this. The hotel is located in Laganas, which for the English crowd is comparable to Chersonissos—not a great place to visit with your partner. Luckily, we were there just before peak season, because otherwise it would have been unbearable. The other side of the island, near Zakynthos Town, is much nicer. We were given a room upgrade, which looked decent and had a balcony. However, the shower didn’t work properly—the temperature kept fluctuating. A guy at reception said he would send someone to fix it, but no one ever came. We also complained about the room cleaning, which was really not acceptable. All the glasses (throughout the entire hotel) were dirty, still with drops from previous guests. The cleaning staff only mopped the floors and ignored everything else. This feedback was also completely ignored. The food was okay, but the selection was far too limited for the number of guests. The dining area has a few nice tables, but if you arrive a bit later or just have bad luck, you end up sitting right in the middle of the buffet. My boyfriend and I hated eating at the hotel, even though we had booked all-inclusive. In order to keep some kind of holiday feeling during our meals, we often chose to dine outside the hotel. A real waste of money—and we’re still quite disappointed about that. The all-inclusive drinks were very disappointing, and if you wanted anything of decent quality, you had to pay extra. There was also one staff member who really brought down the atmosphere. She spoke to us in a childish and unfriendly manner. She was an older woman with a ponytail who was overly cheerful with elderly guests but not at all with us. The owner, on the other hand, was incredibly kind, as was his family. They genuinely try to help and are very hospitable. All in all, this holiday was unfortunately not a good experience for us. We tried to make the best of it, but we don’t look back on it with joy.

Such friendly staff in this gem of a hotel, hidden away from the hustle of the nearby strip. Food was of a high standard and there is nightly entertainment. Only a five minute stroll from Laganas beach or thirty minutes from Cameo island in the opposite direction.
