Stayed in the Canadian Hotel for 5 nights. We stayed in the newly refurbished rooms (pay for the upgrade you won’t regret it) and they were stunning, more like a 4 star room! The only downside was the having to pay for air con and WiFi. The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and happy to help. I would 100% recommend the hotel to anyone. It’s a 10/15 minute walk to the strip so quiet enough for sleeping but close enough to walk. The food in the restaurant was amazing ! We went bed and breakfast which is also something I would recommend. The €5 gyros is unbelievable.

Spiros and George were amazing, they 100% made our holiday!! Both of them can’t do enough for you and willing to do whatever to make your holiday the best week! Hotel is beautiful and i would absolutely recommend to anybody.

Had a broken door for the whole trip with maintenance walking into a room with three girls without knocking. Paid for aircon which leaked all over a room as they failed to mention we had to change the bottle, out bathroom door would get stuck and so would need two people to help you out. Overall the staff is helpful however lack of communication.

The hotel is great, especially the new rooms, we were originally in an old room and we didn't like it, so upgraded to one of the new rooms on the ground floor, so glad we did. (There's a lot of extras you have to pay for, so be prepared for €10 per day for Aircon, €3 per person, per day for (poor) wifi. There is a cost for the safe, not sure of cost, then there's the tourist tax at €5 per day.) The only thing I didn't like were the pillows, I couldn't sleep as they were awful, as soon as you put your head on one of them, they sunk, so my head had no support at all, I did ask for different pillows twice, but they just kept bringing the same type, it did actually spoil my time there. The main pool area is lovely, very compact, so luckily we went at the start of the season, when it was quiet. There is another pool which is completely hidden away, that no-one tells you about. We stumbled on it, I told a few people about it's location. The cleaners are very friendly. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels. The thing I found quite odd, was that they would leave your bedding folded up at the bottom of your bed so you had to make your bed yourself. The restaurant is great, lots of very friendly hard working staff. Everyone seems to be called George in Greece. Manager George and American George, are nice guys. Food menu is ok for a few days, but there's not much on for a few weeks, so we ate out most of the time. The Location of the hotel is brilliant. Only a 5 minute walk to pubs and restaurants, and around 10-15 walk to the main strip and beach. This hotel is mainly for the younger generation as the music is very loud and lots of noise in the early hours of the morning. They can be very inconsiderate. I wouldn't come back to this hotel, purely because I wouldn't go back to Laganas. I think it's definitely for the younger crowd. I would visit Zante again, but in a different area.

staff were so lovely they really made us feel welcome from the second we got there. room was decent but if you want something nice then upgrade to the premium rooms as they r lovely x food was 100/10 and the greek night was a lot of fun would not go back to zante without staying here again

Was apprehensive seeing the bad reviews before coming here, but everything went well. The pool is nice and the rooms are better than expected. Staff are reasonably friendly and this is a great location for a group holiday on a budget

I booked this hotel on a whim during from 20th to the 30th September 2024. I went with my son and with it only being a 3 star i did not expect too much. The rooms were basic but comfortable but the stay was one of the best I have ever had. My son only had a couple of months left to live the lady behind the counter put us in rooms next to each other and even though the wireless was only meant to last one week they let it run without charge for the whole 10 nights. Pedro was so nice and had a wonderful sense of humour he lightened a hard time for us. We got to know the other people staying there grouping up at meal times and around the pool. One evening my son had run out of his anti clotting medication which caused him much pain I ran around in a panic when the manager realised he helped me procure more for him. Sadly my son passed 9 weeks later and I wanted to take my youngest son there to walk in his brother's steps but I can't at the moment as it is too sad but as soon as I can I intend to return to this hotel. I wish to say thank you to all the staff for there pleasant and friendly manner. If you are not expecting 5 star service for a 3 star price I highly recommend giving this hotel a try. Once again thank you.

to stay after making a booking you have to pay an extra fee to stay there. The only good thing about the hotel was the pool. The room was mediocre the mattress were solid although it was clean. The bathroom was full of mosquitos and was no shower curtain which meant it would get flooded and have to pay extra for aircon in the mornings around 9 they would play music on the speakers outside of the same repetitive playlist everyday which is worse if u we’re sleeping right by them.

Very unfriendly reception, the only friendly guy is the one who works at the bar. Toilet is total catastrophe. The sheets are full of little bugs. AC was never cleaned, barely works and they charge it 10 euros per day. The cleaning lady is thief, do not leave your stuff in the room. The only good thing is the pool. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Rooms had bed bugs, shower flooded the bathroom, plug sockets not working, table legs break to easily, bunk beds face the wrong way, wouldn’t let us wait at the hotel until our transfer beacuse we was eating/ drinking in the reception. we also had multiple accounts of money and other valuables being taken from our room

Wow what a incredible place. The reviews from some people on this hotel are so harsh. We honestly had the best stay. The room on level 3 no 307 modern and clean Everyday the cleaners came in when we wanted it to be done by the door sign. The staff make this place 5 star ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ The receptionists ladies are incredibly friendly and would do anything to help they have a great sense of humour. Big shout out to georgie we laughed and had a great banter conversations always smiling and greeting us with her bright personality she will go that extra to help. Kitchen staff for breakfast they work so hard and will do all they can to make things go smoothly amazing ladies. Breakfast was lovely enjoyed the 8am morning's for it to beat the other guests. Bar staff lovely blokes and good food at the bar. Area is lovely quiet away from the busy areas and only a 5 min walk to all the bars and restaurants. Area was just right for us. Honestly you won't be disappointed at this hotel for it's service, lovely staff, clean pool and clean rooms ❤️ Been a nearly 2 weeks since was there and now got the holiday missing blues of Hotel petros 👌

The kindness ,thoughfulness, and helfulness of the hotel in accommodating the requests which I know has made our friend feel so much less nervous about staying there alone has been second to none. We had 10 nights in this lovely place. I found the room we stayed in needs updating the bed was rock hard and the pillows where hard the bathroom definitely needs updating. Breakfast is very basic if you like ham and cheese for breakfast. But the rest of the hotel was great the staff were amazing. I would stay here again but a better room.

Only one word can describe this particular accommodation and its staff: INAPPROPRIATE! Since our arrival, we have been faced with chaos. Absolutely no organization, non-existent cleanliness and room service. We had to ask several times for our room to be cleaned (room cleaning was referred to the property's amenities), basics like toilet paper, clean towels and sheets were missing! In general, no rules of hygiene are followed, as well as the rudimentary common quiet time. The staff of the accommodation were completely indifferent to the complaints and needs of their customers. In fact, on our last day, after we contacted the reception about our complaints, they answered us in a very ironic and aggressive way, completely ignoring the responsibilities and obligations that one has when taking on the responsibility of managing an accommodation! Unfortunately, the photos are more than deceiving. There were plastic drink cups and beer bottles floating around and in the pool, which no one in charge bothered to pick up. Please, think very carefully before wasting your money on this "hotel". Better to spend a little more money for another decent hotel that will meet your basic needs. Disappointing experience and unfriendly towards any category of people and pets.

Ended up booking this hotel last minute as we had an issue with our original booking and were currently ‘homeless’ in a different country for 6 nights with no where to stay so for the price this was the only option we had, as we arrived the staff were aware of our issues and were very warm and welcoming, they offered us a drink on arrival and were very lovely to us. We had to change rooms at one point as from booking such last minute they didn’t have the same room free for the whole 6 nights but they still managed to give us other options such as moving rooms rather than just cancelling the booking. Staff members such as the owner and the cleaner helped us carry our suitcases from room to room which was very helpful of them. The Rooms are very modern and are a nice size the one and only down fall is the air conditioning. The menu has a very wide variety of drinks and food so there is plenty to chose from.

From start to finish we had a lovely time. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They did their very best to ensure our stay was the best it could be- they went above and beyond to make all feel welcome. All staff followed policies to ensure that every guest regardless of age got a great holiday. The rooms were clean and comfortable with the added benefit of air conditioning at no extra cost!! The location is idea as it’s near enough to the main bars but not on top. The kids loved the pool and the slide. Thank you Steve, Julie, Carlo and team.

Too loud music all day until midnight for no obvious reason. Guests of low quality with complete lack of respect to hotel rules and other guests that keep making noise after midnight with the tolerance of the hotel management. Poor cleanliness. Doors without handles. Showers without doors windows that do not close. NOT FOR FAMILIES

We had a lovely stay at Zante Plaza Hotel & Apartments. It’s a great value for money overall. The food was good, with a decent variety, and the cocktails were enjoyable too. Being on the all-inclusive package, we appreciated having drinks available from 11:00 to 23:00. The highlight for us was having access to three different hotel pools, which made it easy to find a nice spot to relax throughout the day. We also had access to food and drinks at two of the hotel’s locations, which added flexibility. The location is excellent — just a short 2-minute walk to the beach in Laganas, and there are plenty of bars and souvenir shops nearby if you’re in the mood to explore a bit. Nothing fancy, but everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

From start to finish, our experience at the Zante Plaza Hotel was absolutely incredible. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and always went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Especially Pano who spoke perfect English and made our stay perfect.The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you’d expect from a great holiday hotel. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach and right in the heart of Laganas, close to all the best bars, restaurants, and shops. Despite being so central, the hotel felt safe and peaceful, especially around the pool area which was spotless and a great place to relax during the day. The food was very good, with plenty of variety and fresh options every day. We especially enjoyed the themed dinner nights and the drinks available at the all-inclusive bar. Special thanks to the entertainment team — they brought great energy and made our evenings so much fun. Whether you’re visiting with friends or family, Zante Plaza Hotel offers great value, a friendly vibe, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Only thing it has going for it is the location. Staff are rude, food was very undercooked. 2 of our groups doors didn't even lock on arrival Pool is very sharp at the bottom we all cut our feet. Told staff but they not interested Some of the rooms (the ones with a physical key rather than a key card) are a lot worse than the others even though you're paying the same price Few plug sockets blew up when plugs plugged in Continuous problems with door handles breaking throughout the week Very bad experience would not recommend at all a lot better hotels for the price will not be returning

We have been there twice before and it was an excellent family hotel with incredible staff and service. It still has excellent staff and service but sadly, young drug kids who show no respect for other guests with drunken disrespectful behaviour seems to have now taken over, such a shame.

I visited last August, wonderful hotel, staff are so caring and so kind, they go above and beyond to make you feel so comfortable. I stayed at the luxurious apartments, all inclusive. Our room was beautiful with what felt like I had my own private pool. Food was out of this world, Im missing the cakes very much. Location was fantastic, beach round the corner, shops, restaurants and bars on the doorstep.

I recently stayed at this hotel and would like to share an honest review to help future guests set the right expectations. The hotel itself is quite old, and this is evident in the condition of the rooms and furniture, which are very outdated and in need of renovation. Due to the high noise levels, I would not recommend this hotel for families or those seeking a peaceful environment. It may be more suitable for teenagers or groups of young travelers. In my opinion, the hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star property. However, there are some positive aspects worth mentioning. The food was plentiful and varied, cleanliness was outstanding — truly a 10/10 — and the staff were generally very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Ymeri from the kitchen and several other hardworking staff members from Albania, who were always kind and professional. Unfortunately, one staff member stood out negatively: Niko, who worked at the outdoor bar, was rude, arrogant, and lacked basic courtesy. Overall, while there were positive moments during my stay, I believe the hotel would benefit greatly from renovation and improved staff training in certain areas.

Hello! Me and my family recently booked this hotel but seeing the reviews we had lower expectations. But as soon as we arrived we saw completely another thing. Yes, the rooms maybe need a bit of renovation, but the staff was really helpful…the cleaning staff the reception the people who worked in the kitchen were the stars of this hotel. And only for them i will really recommend this hotel, especially the albanian staff the most polite and kind people ever.

First time in Zakynthos. Was the beautiful holiday. The hotel was perfect. Staff were friendly. Food was amazing. Had to compliment the chef as it was so delicious. So many options. Drinks were strong and good selection. Hotel was clean. The rooms were clean and were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Only the bathroom needed a makeover. But other than that perfect. Pool was also clean and lots of deck chairs out for guests. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Came last week for 5 nights for one it’s all inclusive but the food was absolutely horrific we ended up having to eat out for every meal the only think edible was the Greek salad and scrambled eggs and beans at breakfast the rooms are old and out dated our beds were not changed once only made we were brought fresh towels once the cleaning staff knocked on our door and I said one second please as I was stood their fully naked she then continues to open to door and have a full conversation with me clearly being able to see that I’m naked and trying to cover myself the toilet seat was broken the whole time so cleaners clearly can’t use their eyes to ask maintenance to fix it which we had asked the cleaning lady to do the first time we saw her the only good thing about this place is the very friendly staff and reps and the cleanliness of the main lobby and pool area the pool is also cleaned every day by what we saw but if your thinking about bringing a family definitely do not it’s just full to the brim if loud teenagers who come back at 6am screaming drunk but don’t worry because you’ll then also have the night time security screaming ten times louder then them and banging on doors of people talking past 11pm to keep you awake I get it’s a policy that their is a quiet time past 11pm but shouldn’t that also count for the man screaming a lot louder
