We enjoyed our stay in the resort , huge shout out to the restaurant manager Mr Savvas who always made sure in person that we have some vegetarian meals to eat .. thanks for that ! 😊
but we were disappointed to know while checkin that our room was across the road and not at the beach front building ( which is a lot nicer). We had booked looking at the pictures of the beach resort. It should have been clearly mentioned while booking and unfortunately the rooms in the garden wing are always noisy.
Nothing related to the resort but a fun fact : On the last day of our stay we also got to experience bit of earthquake in the middle of the night .. well there is always a first time for everything ..looking back at it just feels like a bad dream ! 🛌 😅🫣
But overall it was a good stay ! 🥰

Where do I even begin?! From the second we arrived at 3 AM and found a beautifully prepared meal waiting for us in the room, I knew we had made the perfect choice. Sun Beach Hotel doesn't just tick boxes — it goes above and beyond in every possible way!
💫 The staff? Absolutely INCREDIBLE. Every single person we interacted with — from the always-smiling reception team to the kind and lightning-fast waiters — made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. You can tell they genuinely love what they do.
🎭 And the animation team?! WOW. These guys are next-level entertainers — funny, professional, creative, and full of energy. Every night brought something new, exciting, and polished; it felt like we were getting front-row seats to a high-end show every evening! During the day, you're spoilt for choice. The activities start in the morning and are seriously worth waking up for (yes, even on holiday!). Stretching, darts, archery, ping-pong, beach volleyball, and the super fun French ball game kept us smiling and moving — every activity run with energy and passion. There’s never a dull moment here!
🍽️ Now let's talk about the food. It was phenomenal. So many delicious options, changing daily, always fresh and beautifully presented. And those pancakes made right in front of you? I was hooked — didn’t miss a single evening. Ever.
🧹 Hats off to the cleaning team, who are the unsung heroes of this hotel. The rooms, communal areas, and even the poolside loungers were spotless. They clean before you even know something needs cleaning — pure magic.
🎁 And just when I thought they couldn’t impress me more — we were given a farewell gift that left me speechless. No spoilers, but it was so thoughtful and heartwarming, it genuinely made my day.
Even after checkout, the generosity continues. You can store your luggage, keep using the hotel facilities, grab a fresh towel, shower, and still enjoy the last hours of your stay like a VIP. Need to keep stuff secure? Just €2 for a locker — easy and safe.
🛍️ Bonus tip: there’s a great shop just across the street with super fair prices. You’ll find everything from snacks and drinks to swimwear, souvenirs, and even cat food (yes, feed the adorable little hotel cats 🐱!).
✨ I’m telling you — this place has everything: warmth, fun, relaxation, cleanliness, delicious food, and a team that genuinely cares. They didn’t just give me a great holiday — they gave me memories I’ll treasure forever.

We spent our 2024 summer holiday here. We loved it. The highlights of Sunbeach Resort, from our point of view, were the exceptionally helpful staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the animation team were amazing, especially the kids club.

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Sun Beach Resort. The experience was positive and relaxing, with a few areas that could be improved to elevate the overall standard.
Highlights:
The lobby area is fresh, modern, and offers stunning views over the sea – a great first impression. Service in the lobby was excellent.
We stayed in apartments with balconies overlooking the sea, which was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are of an older standard, but clean and well maintained with good housekeeping.
The location is ideal, about 7 km from Rhodes town and around 6–7 km from the airport. There are beautiful walks to nearby villages with shops and restaurants.
The restaurants offered well-prepared buffet-style meals. The selection was okay – not outstanding – but we didn’t get tired of the food during our week. It was also very helpful that we could switch our half-board option from breakfast and dinner to lunch and dinner, as we usually skip breakfast.
Areas for improvement:
We had planned to do some exercise and saw a beach volleyball court listed in the description, but unfortunately, it was not available during our stay – which was disappointing.
The gym experience was below expectations. A ping pong table had been placed in the workout area, attracting kids and teenagers, making it hard to focus while training.
The gym equipment was outdated and lacked basic free weights and mats. The space felt cramped, although the treadmills and bikes were in good condition.
No cleaning spray for equipment was available, which affected the sense of hygiene.
Other amenities:
The pool area with the infinity pool was very fresh and calm, and the poolside bar added to the relaxing atmosphere.
Final impression:
This is a very good hotel with friendly service and a great location. With some attention to detail and updates to the gym and activity facilities, it could become an outstanding destination.
And if you are disturbed by noise, be aware that inbound flights are flying above the Complex

Overall good experience. Friendly staff and helpful. Special mention to the ones in reception and restaurants.food is a bit repetitive. Amazing housekeeping staff and good location. Rooms are a bit smaller but still okayish. Please note that there are lots of cats in that place
