We had a fantastic stay at the Akti Imperial Hotel and would happily return again. The service throughout our stay was excellent — the staff were always welcoming, friendly, and eager to help. A special mention to the bar staff, who were not only efficient but also added a personal, cheerful touch that made our evenings extra enjoyable.
The hotel is kept spotless, and it’s clear the team takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. One of the highlights for us was relaxing on the terrace at the lounge bar — the views over the pool, beach, and the stunning sunsets were simply breathtaking.
This was a truly happy and memorable holiday for us, and we would definitely recommend Akti Imperial to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-run hotel with fantastic views and great service.

This hotel was really nice and we had a great time. Was a bit busy but that was expected with a hotel of this size. The selection of food was incredible. Only problem we experienced was that the rooms were a bit hot. Would recommend staying here

We vacationed in the Rhodes and chose this hotel — and it turned out to be one of the best decisions!
The room was simply wonderful: daily cleaning, cozy and spectacular ocean view. Everything was tastefully arranged, creating a truly paradise-like vibe.
Dinners were delicious and varied, with local fruits, fresh pastries, and natural juices. There's also a restaurant on-site — a perfect spot for dinner with a glass of wine and a view of the sunset.
The pool was clean, with comfortable loungers and plenty of greenery around. Nearby, there are shops, cafés, and tour offices.
The staff was professional, friendly and polite.
We had a wonderful time celebrating our daughter's birthday.
This is the ideal place for relaxation, a romantic getaway, or a family vacation. We were absolutely delighted and will definitely come back again. Rhodes are pure love!

We stayed 7 nights, had a great time. The location is very good, close to Rhodes town. Food was great and very flavorful, we ate at the buffet every night and had no issues. The only feedback we have is that the rooms could be cleaned better, it was generally cleaned but not the best.

We stayed at the Akti Imperial Deluxe Resort & Spa for seven nights in a sea view room (Room 722), and overall, we had a pleasant stay with a few standout moments — and a few letdowns.
The resort itself is well-equipped and makes a strong first impression. Food is available throughout the day at various points around the resort, which is really convenient. The homemade pizzas are especially delicious and became a firm favourite during our stay. Drinks, including beer and soft drinks, are self-service, which keeps queues down and gives you the freedom to help yourself as you go. However, the main restaurant was a bit underwhelming. While there was a wide range of food each night, it felt like there was a little bit of everything but not much of anything. Dishes tended to rotate between lamb, chicken, pork, and fish, but with only slight variations. At times, the combinations didn’t quite make sense — one night, meatballs were on offer in the Italian section, but there was no pasta or spaghetti to go with them.
Our sea view room was cleaned daily, and the minibar was restocked just as regularly. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer, and a small but appreciated touch was the pair of slippers provided. The view from the balcony was a real highlight — overlooking the Aegean Sea, and on a clear day, you could see the coast of Turkey. For aviation enthusiasts, the room’s position also offered a great view of planes on their approach to land, which we enjoyed.
The resort includes some extra features like a 7D cinema and escape rooms, though we didn’t get the chance to use them. There’s also a well-stocked mini market on site selling everything from sweets to inflatable pool toys. For families, there’s a dedicated games room to help keep children entertained.
One thing to be aware of is the tourist tax, which isn’t always highlighted during booking. We were charged €105 for our 7-night stay, payable upon arrival.
Check-out was mostly smooth, but we did experience an unnecessarily awkward moment when trying to return our pool towels. Reception initially told us to take them to the spa, which was fine — except when we got there, it was closed. When we returned to reception, we were told the spa doesn’t open until 10am. We explained we were leaving before then and had already checked out, at which point the receptionist reluctantly took us behind the desk to place the towels into a crate full of others. It left us with the impression that she was being deliberately difficult, which took a bit of shine off the otherwise positive final morning.
All in all, the Akti Imperial has a lot going for it — fantastic views, great pizza, clean rooms, and lots of amenities. There are a few service inconsistencies, but it’s still a solid choice for a sunny, sea-view getaway.
