When we booked this holiday we were concerned about 3 stars, but we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were basic, but clean and were cleaned every day. The food was very good, surprising variety and very fresh. A very good location, close to the beach and Faliraki city centre. Entertainment girls were doing their best! It was a break dance show one night and 3 beautiful singers another night. A small playground for children is also available. Lifts for prams and a room for chilling and playing snooker is also available. Before the trip, I read the reviews and was very concerned. But can reassure you the hotel is renewed and can even claim for 4 stars. Thank you to all the staff and special thanks to Nicos and Alex! Maria and Tomas

If possible, avoid this place. From the outside, it appears to be a simple, well-maintained budget hotel, but once you get to your room, it becomes clear that guest comfort is not a priority. Hygiene is definitely lacking everywhere. The hotel consists of a main building with pool-view rooms and a few side buildings for guests who didn’t book directly through TUI. There’s a significant discrepancy in room quality - even within the same block. We were initially given a ground-floor room with a view of an inside hallway instead of the garden-view room we had booked. There was no privacy, as people walking by could see directly into our room, forcing us to keep the curtains closed at all times. The room was infested with moths, the air conditioning unit blew directly onto the bed, and the furniture was extremely old. Despite the hotel’s exterior appearance, nothing inside seemed to have been renovated for decades. We complained to both the reception and our tour agent, and about a day and a half later, we were given a slightly better room on the second floor. It had a marginally larger bathroom and a balcony facing the same interior hallway, but at least some sunlight made its way in. The moths were replaced by ants, there was not enough water pressure in the shower during “peak hours” and there was a noticeable smell of mold - but by that point, we were completely over it. On the positive side: the mattresses in both rooms were comfortable, the sheets were clean, and there was something reasonably decent to eat at every meal.

The accommodation was beautiful- on pictures but far from what you’ll expect when you actually arrive. The pictures shown are of the newly “renovated” rooms but you’ll be lucky if you actually get the room you thought you were booking. We checked in at 2am and by the time we realised what was happening it was too late in the night to sort it. Our 3 children were down the hallway from us and we ended up dragging a mattress to our twin room for our toddler into our room and leaving our older children in their prison cell of a room down the hallway. Balcony room can be the view of the car park, the back of the adjacent building or a court yard, if you’re lucky you’ll get a view of the pool. The view of the sea in the day is lovely but you’ll regret the positioning at 5am when the younger guests are still congregating around the pool or screaming in the hallways and you’re trying to sleep. The staff are limited to 1 employee at night so you won’t get any help at night. There is a second building which you can get carted off to if you’re not happy with your main building accomodation, and have a lovely view of the dirt car park The food smells the same everyday day in and day out. We had 1 night when the food was actually decent and edible, other than that you’re better off walking 10mins down the road and finding something reasonably priced. For a family of 5 it ranges from €100-€150 per meal. The catering and cleaning staff were pleasant and welcoming. We found a bug on our mattress and blood on the sheets the second night and asked for a fresh clean mattress the cleaner couldn’t be nicer. The reception staff however - rude! They address the room discrepancy as if it was our booking was our fault when we selected what the requirement was and what TUI provided - a family room! The bed bug - the TUI rep came and dealt with it. The clean sheets - the TUI rep dealt with. The receptionist with the golden orange hair was useless and rude. After this the cleaner was replaced with another cleaner and this cleaner requested for tip at the end of our stay which I thought was very rude. They’re understaffed for the amount of guests they have checked in, the communal areas are constantly left dirty for the shire volume of guests to staff. The toilets by the pool/bar/ dining area absolutely stink of urine no matter what time of day it is, and the floor is always soaked with it. The cups are questionably cleaned - if you select your own glass in the snack bare you’ll be able to see that they’ve just been rinsed and left over syrup from the last drinks. The pool is too small for the amount of guests there is 3 full blocks of guests and never sufficient sun beds - you’ll have to get up at atleast 6am and bag a sunbed if you don’t want to be the AH who puts a towel down the night before. You can do that though because they don’t clean the pool area in the evenings, the floor is sticky and filthy. I think the day someone took a toilet in the pool was the first time it had a “clean” in a long time. There’s broken tiles and draining all around the pool. The hand rail is broken but usable. The children’s pool is about 3metres wide with a wobbly railing and the little splash pad next to it was broken for the whole duration and by the looks of it had been broken for sometime before we arrived. There is a lack of communal areas - so after dinner rather than making space of the other guests coming for their evening meal Everyone congregates in the dining area. There a patio space on the reception floor with 6 chairs - not sufficient. There is a snooker table, you have to pay to use but also one side is blocked by a cabinet. The disused reception area is potentially a communal social area with the sofas but not near the bar or any entertainment. The entertainment is 1 lady and her laptop, you can have karaoke, live entertainers or music bingo.

We stayed here in August, was very hot reaching. 40 degrees. We were greeted by a lovely bus driver who took us to our hotel then it all went down hill when we got to our rooms, dirty and out dated website shows lovely renovated rooms but don’t expect that. Fridge was gross, beds had bugs and bathroom had bugs too and was overall dirty, bedsheets creased and stained very thin like paper, broken t.v on the wall mirror light was broken along with lights above bed which meant we only had one light, walls missing paint and chipped all over, balcony covered in bird poo, for it being a family room we only had two balcony chairs and one dressing table chair which wasn’t enough, asked for fresh towels they took our dirty ones away and didn’t replace so had to go a day without which wasn’t ideal after being covers in cream, sea water and sand!!! Rooms aren’t baby friendly at all, the AC is okay but it will just turn off after a while and you will wake up sweating. The cleaners are lovely and very chatty too however I heard a few people’s things going missing so be aware. The pool was nice but very over crowded all the time kids pool had adults going in and out too much. Hotel entertainment finished around 10:30pm lond music keeping little ones up that late was frustrating. Lots of party people and young groups of teenagers staying here meant lots of rowdy people in the hallways early morning so you will be woken up as rooms aren’t sound proof what so ever, very few kids at this hotel don’t think it’s aimed for family’s s such, Sun loungers were always all taken by 8pm so you have to be early if you want one. Snack bar was tiny had the same three things everyday. The eating restaurant had the same things each day too just slightly different after about 5 days it gets a bit much. Is only two baby chairs in the restaurant so likely won’t get one if needed we had to sit our 12 month old on a normal chair or hold him to be able to eat so wasn’t ideal, if you do have one be prepared for people to keep asking to take it. Staff are super friendly but do keep expecting tips from you, they maintain the pool aera and eating area very well always clean which is a bones after the state of the rooms. Be aware if heading toward the town you have to cross a mainroad on a blind corner with is very busy and the cars here do not stop for anyone. Falaraki centre is really nice lots to do and see is only about 10 minute walk from here also the beach is only a 10 minute walk too. Busses to Rhodes town are easy to catch from 5 minute walk to the main road however be ware during may- sept they are extremely busy. Can get busses to Lindos and Antony Quinn beach too for only a couple euro. TUI rep is in hotel almost everyday lovely lady answered all our questions and queries super helpful. Be ware of people if you’re going out at night beggars on the street with kids will try to take from you.Overall nice area with lots to do but probably wouldn’t overall recommend the hotel just from our experience,

Arrived at the hotel after 3 hour delay Hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport Greeted by frank who was extremely nice Showed us to the room which had 3 single beds in and was extremely small basic and dated The balcony was facing a rural mountain and the patio furniture was rickty and old I was travelling with my partner and 15 year old Son I didn't realise a twin room would only be one room as said sleeps three I thought the family room would be that just one room but it all depends on the country your travelling too apparently as I have never ever experienced this in the past Went to see reception about getting a bigger room and he was not very helpful at all Told me see TUI rep Which I did and at first he was very dismissive I explained the frustration and the genuine mistake He then advised to speak to the manager (didn't get her name ) She was very understanding and accommodating she agreed toswap rooms and we ended up in a deluxe family room with 5 beds And don't charge for the upgrade which I was extremely grateful for The rooms were clean Aircon was great pool was absolutely freezing all the time impossible to stay in for long periods of time The food in the restaurant was lovely good variety of salads and choice Very clean Restaurant staff were very nice especially Stephanie who was so helpful and happy The snack bar doesn't serve ice creams or anything throughout the day And was mainly gyros everyday Not good of you got picky eaters who are fussy The entertainment in one week we had an amazing show of dancers one night that was it Supposed to have karaoke the next night that didn't happen Practically all day every day all that is played is greek music constantly The bar staff were so rude Hardly spoke to you zero manners which was a let down from restaurant staff The lager was so weak it must of been non alcoholic it was impossible to get drunk on it It was served in little plastic glasses Good range of spirits and a few cocktails however depending on what bar staff was on depended on what drink you got I drank Malibu and pineapple and one would only put the liqueur in and not the white rum Absolutely bizarre Not much room in restaurant and bar area So can imagine in peak periods this being a massive problem

Great hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and all areas were clean, and our room was cleaned every day. The food was tasty with different options each day. Nice pools for both adults and kids. Location was perfect and easy to get around.

I mean I really don’t get the bad reviews. We stayed here for four nights and it was amazing. Rooms are clean and spacious, food is very good, some simple foods stayed the same, but main meals were always different. The included cocktails were so good!! The staff was so friendly and helpful, also there was entertainment every day and every evening. There are three pools, some for adults, some for kids. And I mean THE PRICE FOR ALL THIS??? Wow so good! The location is amazing, so close to town and the beach. Thank you!

Spent a week at Stamos with my family and we all had a great time. The hotel was in a perfect location close to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms and pools were always clean and there was different food and drinks available. The animation team, Lea, Johnny and Bob were great - I really enjoyed water polo and volleyball and the family had an amazing time on the Rhodes Old Town trip with Lea

We've just got home from a week's stay at Stamos Hotel and personally, I don't understand what the bad reviews are all about! The rooms were clean and modern. Cleaned everyday and bedding changed every other day. There was 6 of us and we were put in rooms next door to each other. We had a double room and 2 singles in each. This was perfect for me as my husband snores, so I often slept in the spare single bed! The hall ways got very loud on some nights, with girls knocking and banging on doors, screaming and shouting etc, but we cannot blame the hotel for this. Just very inconsiderate people! Luckily my son slept through it. The food was probably the best all inclusive we've ever had for the price we paid. We usually do budget hotels as we are hardly ever there, we eat, we go out for the day, we eat again. There was lots of choice each day, with different nights being different themed. You will always find something you like. My only issue was that the food wasn't really hot, even when it just opens. More warm, but definitely not complaining. The all inclusive alcohol was ok. Plenty of cocktails to choose from. I got quite drunk on the first night, but I did have a fair few! I can't comment on the pool as we didn't use it. We were out all day until about dinner time. The staff on reception were very nice and helpful. The staff on the bar, in the restaurant and the cleaners all kind of seemed like robots though. The hotel is the perfect location. Someone said it was a trek to the beach...please don't believe this, it's not true! It's literally a few minutes away from the town, the strip and the beach. We cannot comment on the entertainment as we were usually in our rooms quite early. There are lifts to the rooms for people who are not good with stairs! It was out of season but still quite busy. If you weren't down for dinner within an hour of them opening, you'd struggle to get a table inside. The evenings were a bit chilly, so we just made sure we were down there when it opened. Please don't let the bad reviews sway you. It really was a decent hotel for the money. Thank you Stamos, we had a great holiday.

very nice hotel, the rooms were very nice and got cleaned everyday. The staff were so nice and genuine. The food was a bit repetitive with the flavours and got tiring very quickly. the entertainers (Bob and Johnny) were the best, very funny and engaged with all the families, Bob has his own custom tshirts that we bought with our names on it. The hotel also had 3 pools, one for children with a children’s slide and one not too deep where they did water activities and one which was quite deep. Many sunbeds too so no fighting over sunbeds. overall very very great experience and very beautiful hotel.

From my experience I have to say this is a great little hotel. I'm a solo traveller, last day of a 7 night booking tomorrow. I was a bit apprehensive after reading previous reviews. Thankfully my holiday here has been really good. I can't fault the hotel for its great variety of dishes all of which has been very well presented every evening. Cleanliness is spot on and the bed is very comfortable. Theres a great pool and the hotel is opposite the beach. Oh, and a zebra crossing literally yards away gets you across the main road. Traffic does stop for you, I had a couple of reluctant drivers, but if I put my hand out to show I was going to cross (before stepping out) they slowed and stopped straight away. The Beach is a mixture of sand, pebbles and shingle, sun beds are old yes, but FREE 👍. You'd use a towel anyway as with any sunbed 🤷. Sea socks cost a few euros and are available in a very well stocked supermarket less than a minute away, it's worth getting them because the sea is gorgeous. Nothing negative to say here, and believe me, I'm fussy 😂

A pleasant stay overall. The staff are friendly, and breakfast is tasty with a good selection. The hotel is right next to a world-famous resort and shares the same beautiful stretch of beach. While many guests prefer the pool, we truly enjoyed the crystal-clear sea. Free parking is available, and it’s just a short drive to the charming Old Town.

A slightly older hotel. Had been renovated some years ago by.way of the glass doors and screens in en suite shower rooms. The shower rooms to us were the only thing that let them down as a little dated but showere were good and warm, towels and sheets changed daily, staff really good and helpful. We just did bed and breakfast and the breakfast was good and catered for everyone just not sure you need chips and beer at breakfast buy as it has an all inclusive option maybe this is why???? Pool area looked good and plenty of sun beds. Pool bar a staff really good. It's a little gem really sandwiched between two other larger newer hotels. Beach over the road with sunbeds and umbrellas bit never used them as we walk a lot and move around so cant comment other than its a good job hospital on the hill behind the resort as its an event crossing the road bar the few under-passes there are!!!!!

The rooms are basic but have all you need. My balcony had a nice view of the pool and sea but the balconies at the back had a close view of wall and roofs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was close to beach, bus stop to old town and shops, bars, restaurants either side. The airport road between the hotel and beach was busy with traffic but there are zebra crossings. The main drawback with the hotel is it didn't have wheelchair access to the reception. Also I had to carry my suitcase up steps on arrival. There was good entertainment 3 nights a week in the hotel.

Aside from the two good men at the reception, the rest of the hotel is unclassifiable. The rooms are dirty and lack basic essentials like soap and shampoo. There's no shower curtain, which floods the bathroom. The window curtains were stained with insect blood, and with no mosquito net, you're forced to sleep with the window open. Air conditioning is an extra charge. The location is a plus only if you have a car, as the hotel is on a hill, making public transport difficult. If you're simply looking for an affordable place to sleep, this might be a good option given the competitive price.

Nice Hotel with friendly people, positioned on a steep hill just outside Faliraki. Book this if you have a car, scooter, quad or take a taxi. To walk to Faliraki is a though 30 minutes walk in the heat. Some touroperators say there is a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Faliraki: this isn’t correct! A taxi costs €12,- just ask at the bar if they can call a taxi. The rooms are basic with a small kitchenblock with some plates, glasses, fridge and a watercooker. At the bar you can buy drinking water for in your room for only €0,50 a bottle of 1.5 liter, so you don’t have to take it from a supermarket, down in Faliraki. The beds are a bit small for tall people, but they are oke. The shower is tiny, but it gets the job done. Cleaning the room, beds and new towels is every 4th day. (You’ll get 1 small and 1 large towel a person). WiFi is only available at the pool and bar. So keep in mind there isn’t WiFi in your room, just make a hotspot in your phone for your kids. Airconditioning costs €7,- a day. Believe me: in high season you need this! The restaurant’s food isn’t expensive and oke with enough choice. The pool is around 15 meters in length and around 6 meters width, with a small and shallow babypool next to it. Max. depth of the large pool is 1.40 meters. Sunbeds are more then enough availabe all day long (the pool is open from 08:00-20:00) So don’t worrie when you came back from the beach or when you wake up late, that there aren’t any sunbeds available. In 12 days, we always had sunbed after we returned from the beach. The restaurant is open till 20:00 and the bar is open till 02:00. We never heard the music from the bar at night, we stayed at the closest corner of the building, next to the pool and bar (room 27). Breakfast we didn’t use, so I can’t give an opinion. Should I recommend this Hotel? Yes, but rent a car, scooter or quad or get a taxi to get to Faliraki centre. Walking is steep uphill/downhill and across a busy road where cars drive around 60 to 80km/hour. Will I book this Hotel again? Yes, very friendly people, basic rooms but oke, situated in a quiet environment just outside noisy and busy Faliraki. Don’t expect a 5-star all inclusive resort for this price!!! You’ll get what you pay for! Price - Quality ratio is very good for this Hotel.

Ideal place for a get away. Staff are great, big shout out to Ben who works the nights, very easy to get on with. And the chap who looks after his cousin in the day. They’re good people and always seem happy to help. The rooms were clean, mattresses were nearly new and very comfortable, the air-con units are really good and is worth the additional fee given the price to stay here is low. I recommend you get a taxi driver on WhatsApp, ask the staff on reception and they’ll sort it out. €10 to Faliraki square, split that with your group and you’re golden. The hotel feels and was safe. In fact, the island has nearly no crime. Views of the sun rise are spectacular. My wife and I have found our annual hide away. Thank you to all the panorama staff and owners. Really happy. Oh, bring bug spray!!

Very friendly and helpful staff . Pool area clean and always a sunbed to lounge on . Rooms are large and equiped well enough ( not if you want to do ‘Proper’ cooking , but ok to prepare and store snacks) . No cleaning equipment , so take dishcloth / washing up liquid or buy there . Clean enough , a bit ‘tired’ . My aircon was a godsend ( but remember you have to pay about £40 a week for it ). Felt comfortable and safe there as a solo female traveller . A bit of a hike to shops / bars / beach , so unless you plan to get a car you’d need to be happy to walk 25 minutes each way ( and a big ish hill to get back up and enjoy the view ) . Decent full size fridge in room . Sheets and towels changed once in my weeks stay and bins emptied once . This was fine for me . I would stay there again if I was planning to get a car - but otherwise I wouldn’t . Taxi 10euros from Faliraki to panorama studios .

Good size hotel rooms with kitchen facilities, close to a restaurant, 15 minutes to town only. I wouldn't recommend breakfasts there as long as you expect some more than toasts only. Very quiet area so great choice if you're looking for some rest. From some of the rooms also a great view. Very friendly staff members.

Family-run hotel, all staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a bar/restaurant on site next to the pool which serves good quality for food for a fair price and is open 8am-10pm daily. They also offer room service (at no extra cost) which is a bonus. There is also a small shop on site with basic groceries (food, toiletries and other essentials) which is open 24hrs a day which came in handy, although slightly more expensive than other shops in town. The room was clean and in good condition upon arrival, and cleaned/replenished frequently throughout. Had everything we needed. The shower doesn't have a full door/curtain so the floor gets quite wet after using it but otherwise no problems with the room. Free WiFi is available on site and is generally alright however can be temperamental. Aircon was not included so the room did get quite hot at times, but just about manageable and saved €10/day. The hotel is located on a large hill and all shops/the beach is a 30minute walk. The hotel does offer a free shuttle service to and from the beach, 3* a day, which was an added bonus and something we didn't know about before coming. The pool was lovely and hygenic, we always found sunbeds, however alot of them don't have shade or an umbrella. Overall a great hotel, lovely staff the 3* rating doesn't do it justice!! Would recommend

Amazing staff i am really bad with names but they were great the people in reception were lovely and kitchen staff and the taxi guy everyone was great kind and helpfull. Hotel its self was clean the room was clean we got a free upgrade. The self catering facilities were not good no microwave no actual cooker and minimal space. Fridge was good tho. Cutlery etc wasnt clean when we arrived Food in the actual hotel was good if u wanted to buy it we had a few take outs brownie n ice cream , pizza , brrakfast buffet (10 euro pp self catering) breakfast was a bit pricy but good had on last day everything else was good price and really tasty too. Free taxi too faliraki town at 11am 3pm 5pm was great They have 2 resturants and an ice cream shop all that were great.

I’ll start this review with my positive experiences; Charlie, the kitchen staff and reception staff were lovely and were there to answer any questions you had. Charlie was amazing and did lifts into Faliraki centre three times a day, so handy! The place is quiet and you never seem to fight over sun beds so easy enough to get them in the morning as well as in the afternoon! Now with the negatives; Rooms were very disappointing, bathroom door wouldn’t shut at all and kept swinging open, had complained to the reception and was given a clothes peg to close it shut?? Bathrooms were also prone to flooding when using the shower, water had got everywhere, bath mats were of no use unfortunately. Towels were also not changed as per their timetable, out of the 8 days we were there they were changed once? Pool area was mostly clean with plenty of beds however found that the pool was quite dirty with lots of grit and dirt at the bottom that you could feel when swimming, found a hair extension also when swimming, wasn’t the best experience. Food for half board was lacking, very little choice to choose from both breakfast and dinner. Overall, a budget hotel that has many things to improve on. Great staff but lacking basic and functioning amenities.

Amazing, Friendly and helpful staff, Charlie’s shuttle took us right up to Faliraki’s beautiful beach where you can take boat trips, jet skis, kayaks, and many other water sports! The hotels pool is beautiful, clear and practically empty despite it being mid August. Bedrooms were simple but pleasant, with the cleaners coming in every morning! Thank you for such an amazing stay.

Our experience was okay. Would probably not stay again but was good for our holiday and first time to Rhodes. Pros: - staff were extremely lovely and welcoming. Couldn’t fault them at all and they really made our holiday. - small shop which made it good for snacks late at night, beers and cigarettes and was reasonably priced. - location was great and was around a 15 minute walk into Faliraki meaning it was easy to get to and from at night (the road there was well lit meaning you felt safe to walk at night) - a little bar that was open very late so if you didn’t fancy going out but wanted to relax and have a drink this was available to you. - rooms were cleaned everyday and we were offered new towels. We had an incident with a smashed glass in the room and this was dealt with promptly. Cons: - room was incredibly basic and I felt didn’t really like what was on the booking website. There was a few incidences with cockroaches but this is likely because there are bugs outside not an issue with cleanliness. However, the room is what ruined it for me. Additionally. The walls are paper thin so you could hear chairs moving, switches being turned on and off, toilets flushing and you can imagine what else going on at very early hours of the morning meaning it was difficult to sleep. - the food that was included wasn’t really that great. It might be personal preference but the breakfast was mostly sweet bits meaning I didn’t really feel satisfied in the morning and the dinner was not a very large selection without only 1 main offering and was often cold as was served 30 minutes before and placed under a hot lamp that wasn’t really effective. - had to pay an extra €10 per night for air con and the rooms were borderline unbearable heat wise at night. All in all my stay was pleasant but if you are looking for a couples/semi peaceful break away I would not visit as there are often large groups of drunken adults or large families around (night and day) with nothing much to occupy young children meaning that it gets very loud and un relaxing at times. However I feel this was my mistake booking a hotel that wasn’t specifically for couples.

Amazing, authentic Greek experience. Personal speaks English, German and French. Very friendly people. They have free shuttle bus to near sand beach and airport. Nice pool with lots of sun beds. Hotel has zero-waste table with products left by guests(spf creams and other stuff) - very thoughtful and helpful.

What an unexpected suprise this place is. Amazing food, restaurant standard, you really couldn't want for more. Staff are helpful and lovely, they really do go the extra mile. Communal areas have a chilled out vibe. Having the best time here presently and could not wish for more. The Greek night was so entertaining and included in the price we paid. All in all the family ought to be very proud of what they offer to guests. Yes you are close to the airport but I don't find this a problem.

We had a lovely family stay here. Collected from the airport, welcome drinks while they put the finishing touches on our rooms. Nothing was too much trouble. Stayed half board, lovely set menus or a la carte. Definitely recommend.

This is a really exceptional and special family run hotel with a warm friendly vibe and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are also very warm and welcoming. As for the food all I can say is WOW ,the chef George one of the sons is extremely talented and will even personalise your food to fit any dietary needs. After my 5 week stay there I can see why nearly every one I'd talked to return year after year. Highly recommend 👌(Mary Larder)x

**Absolutely Terrible! Do NOT Stay at Happy Days Hotel, Rhodes – It’s a Nightmare!** Where do I even begin with this disaster of a hotel? From the moment we arrived at **Happy Days Hotel**, it was nothing short of a nightmare. First off, **the taxi drivers are unbelievably rude**—a horrendous start to what was already shaping up to be the worst vacation of my life. **The hotel itself is an absolute disgrace.** It’s nothing more than a glorified hostel, and honestly, it doesn’t even deserve a 1-star rating. If you’re looking for anything remotely resembling comfort, cleanliness, or modern amenities—look elsewhere! The entire place is in serious need of an upgrade. **The hallways and rooms are archaic and outdated**, like they haven’t been touched in decades. I felt like I was staying in some abandoned building from the 1980s. You’d think a place calling itself a hotel might have **basic furniture**, but no. Instead of a double bed, they’ve got two **single beds shoved together**, leaving you to sleep uncomfortably. **And get this—the room has NO AC!** If you want air conditioning, you’ll need to fork out **€9 a day for the privilege**. In our case, that meant an extra **€45** for five days in an already overpriced room. Ridiculous! As if that wasn’t bad enough, the **TV didn’t even work properly**. What kind of so-called “hotel” offers rooms with no functional entertainment? We were sweltering in the heat, with no way to cool off and nothing to distract us. The **reception area is just as bad, hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable. The staff? Incredibly rude and unhelpful**, which just added to the frustration. And don’t get me started on the **outrageous tax** they demand before you can even check into your room. **€25 for no reason at all!** It feels like a scam, honestly. Then, the worst part… **cats.** Stray cats roam around the premises, aimlessly wandering, which is both unsanitary and unsettling. There were flies buzzing around the so-called “breakfast,” which was an embarrassment to say the least. They literally serve **cut bananas** with flies crawling all over them. **Disgusting!** As for the **bathroom**, don’t expect any decent amenities. There was **no soap, no shampoo, no conditioner**, just **two tiny bars of soap for five days**. Is that what they think counts as “service”? I honestly couldn’t believe what a terrible experience this was. **Do yourself a favor** and avoid this so-called hotel at all costs. **Happy Days Hotel** is an absolute joke, and I wouldn’t wish this nightmare on anyone. There’s no way this place should even be open for business. **DO NOT STAY HERE!**

Impressive foyer kept that way by the overly fussy manager who doesn't like guests messing up his area. Rest of the staff are brilliant and very helpful. Including tourist tax, if you want aircon in the rooms for a week they charge €88 cash on arrival. The booked room with a pool view can be seen in the pics attached. (It's somewhere behind the impenetrable forest). Rooms cleaned regularly and plenty of hot water in the powerful showers. Nice quiet resort and great pool area. Amenities are very limited with civilisation (of sorts) an hour walk away.

A great hotel. I only had bed and breakfast so I can’t comment on the rest of the food but I thought it was very good and the selection of some of the items varied slightly from day to day. The room I had was clean and the pool always had plenty of sun beds available in both sun and shaded areas, at least when I went in August. The hotel and pool areas on the whole were very clean and the staff were friendly as well. The only slight negative was the extra cost to use the air conditioner in the room. Albeit small, it was unexpected.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the breakfast was generous and tasty – I especially appreciated the variety, although I’d suggest adding avocado to the menu. The coffee was surprisingly good. The reception and kitchen staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, there were several aspects that left a negative impression. There are some odd rules – you’re not allowed to take your coffee on the terrace, and you’re only permitted to consume drinks purchased from the hotel bar. If you don’t comply, you may be met with disapproving looks from the staff. Air conditioning is not included and costs €8 per night. I also paid an extra €40 per night for a room upgrade, and that’s where the issues began. The hotel presents a very different image online compared to reality. Most of the standard rooms are dormitory-style, with tiny bathrooms that include an outdated tub. Only one bathroom photo from the standard double room is shown online – the rest are from superior rooms, which feels misleading. Cleanliness was not up to expectations. I found hair in the bathroom, visible dust in the room, and while the bed linens and towels were clean, they were noticeably yellowed and worn. The pool area also needs attention – it clearly requires renovation, and the smaller pool had greenish water, which was not inviting. Lastly, while the reception and kitchen staff were kind and professional, the bar staff seemed bored and amused themselves by gossiping about guests – something we overheard multiple times, which was quite uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel has potential, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, transparency, and customer experience.

Really enjoyed my stay at Happy Days Hotel overall. Nice location, pool area was well kept and always managed to get a sun lounger or comfy bean bag under the tree. The room was very pleasant but found the glass door and wall a little strange as offers no privacy at all. The website and reviews I read before said you have to pay for the aircon in the room but we were given it included with the room which was a nice touch but don't know how often they do this however. The food was ok and we had breakfast every day but it wasn't particularly varied but enough there to keep me satisfied. Only had one evening meal as we like to explore different places but again was ok. A couple of slightly negative points were when it reached 10am the air con was turned off in the food hall and felt like you were being hurried out or sit and be hot. No sitting in the bar area unless you brought a drink and we were asked to move as we didn't want to buy a drink. Air con in the room only went to 25* which never felt cool enough.

Unfortunately, we have more or less negative experience with this hotel. It is clean yes, but the cleaners will not be pretended to work definitely and work, throws only waste bins, towels for the whole week, nowhere is wiped and slowly will not give you a new soap and we paid for the Superior. A wardrobe with a few straps where the safe is located in an absolutely inappropriate place, you have no better stacking of a dwelling- a shower close to the Superior room and I note that my husband and I are both slim. The hotel is definitely calm on a quiet Mîsta in the wild, unless the rude children come. You will take care of fun. The staff is nice -all inclusive - it is complicated from ice cream of 3 types, from alcohol I tried only ouzo, other alcohol rather not, then it is what, every taste and what I have. Food is definitely not for busy clients. And if you choose this hotel, I recommend borrowing a car. The receptionist told us on Saturday that we should ask on Sunday if it is going to go out the check out and then on Sunday it tells us that it wants 35 euros in 2 hours ... incredible. We tried this hotel, but unfortunately not really good.... The swimming pool is one open until 17:00 and one by 18:00… for me I do not recommend.

Me and my wife love everything about the Meliton Hotel, it is so clean and peaceful, and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Food is not always a great choice, but we always found something we liked, and it was always well cooked, and Harris the chef is such a lovely guy , so a big shout out to him. There are 2 pools and they are spotlessly clean and well maintained and a sun bed is always available, the beach is about 20 minutes walk away, but the hotel do provide a minibus at 10am to take you to the beach and it picks you up again at 1pm to get you back for lunch. This hotel is perfect if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday, and we highly recommend it, you really can’t do better for the price in our opinion.

This is highly recommended hotel if you are looking for peace and harmony in the beautiful countryside. You'll need to rent car or motorcycle if you would like to explore surroundings. They will provide with full service as described on booking.com and you could relax and feel like at home. It's a good value for money and quite popular hotel among people and I booked 16 days about 4 months before i arrived at Meliton Hotel. I checked few times availability and all July dates was fully booked. It was second time when I was here. After it's just 10 minutes driving distance from airport and taxi price is starting from 16-23€ one way but bus ticket will cost you less than 3€ but you should find bus timetable. In the meantime you can rent scooter from airport and go with the flow and enjoy freedom! Overall experience: Very kind and helpful people. Check in and check out was very quick and rooms was clean and spotless. All toiletries was provided and missing ones was topped up later. Also bed was large and comfy. Air-conditioning was simply brilliant and they installed truly powerful aircondioner in my room. Swimming pools are large enough and they do a good job to keep them clean at all times. I enjoyed my time here very much and felt like at home. Some guests can be noisy but they don't try to distract people but it's interesting to watch them talking to each other and such lovely interactions makes this hotel alive. You will see a lot of cats here. Meals: It's 3 times a day and you can expect to receive locally resourced food from gardens. Fresh food every day. They will cook authentic and delicious Greek food and it would cost separately more elsewhere. Menu is limited but absolutely acceptable for the price overall. Personally I expressed acknowledgement and compliments to the chef. I heard same from few hotel guests too. Sure thing, there is a little shop where most important products are available for sale. You won't find many shops around and shopping should be well planned if you wish to buy more. The Best advice from me is to book day trip by ferry from Rhodes port to Marmaris, Turkey and that's very interesting shopping experience. However Meliton Hotel will provide full information about available tours and transport. Honestly I would return back here third time because I enjoyed quality food, service, peace and happiness. This was main reason why I returned here second time and feel grateful for everything I received from Meliton Hotel.

For me, Meliton should be 4 star hotel. The location is perfect to sightseeing if you have car because it's in the center of the Rhodes island. The cleanliness in the room is spotless. They clean rooms every day. Food was a little bit repeated but always fresh and really good. The reception and the whole crew was sooo kind for every guest which we really appreciate that. We really enjoyed entertainment part. There were greek night and karaoke night during our stay. We've got really spacious room for three people with beautiful view on the greenery, quiet pool and also partial sea view from our balcony. I do not recommend this hotel! I have traveled to many countries, but this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When we arrived, we were not given the room we had booked. Instead of a double bed, we received two separate beds, even though we were a family with a small child. We requested a double bed but had to wait 3 days for a room change. We also had to pay extra for air conditioning, even though this was not mentioned on Booking. We paid for an all-inclusive package, but after 10 PM, everything had to be paid separately. The room didn’t look like the pictures, there were small insects inside, and it smelled like urine in the bathroom. Cleaning was far from satisfactory. The food was repetitive and bland. Every day it was the same things, poorly cooked. They served plain pasta without any sauce, and traditional Greek dishes like hummus, souvlaki, or gyros were completely missing. Desserts were disappointing – only some doughnuts once and hard biscuits as snacks. The ice cream was served only during snack time. Drinks were very limited. If you asked for a whiskey, they would pour you a tiny 20 ml shot, barely covering the ice. If you asked for a proper drink, the bartender would refuse, saying the owner was watching and didn’t allow it. No activities or entertainment were organized for the guests, and the owner was constantly watching people to see how much they ate or drank – it made us feel very uncomfortable. In short: poor service, bad food, unclean rooms, and a greedy management. Definitely not worth the money. Stay away!

Absolutely appalling experience – avoid at all costs Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. We experienced a serious security breach when someone broke in through our balcony, and despite reporting the incident multiple times to both staff and management, no real concern or action was taken. To make matters worse, we had reported that our in-room safe wasn’t working from the beginning of our stay, and again, it was completely ignored. We had to change our flights to attend the police station, and the hotel showed no sympathy or support – not even offering a room, food, or a drink while we dealt with the stress of the situation. Staff were unhelpful, dismissive, and made it very clear they couldn’t care less. They didn’t even assist us in contacting the police to help us manage the chaos this situation caused. When we asked for assistance contacting airline as needed to change flights there was no care and was moaning the whole time. The overall service was poor throughout our entire visit. The food was genuinely awful, and any requests for help were met with indifference. This hotel clearly does not care about the safety or wellbeing of its guests. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone – we felt completely abandoned and unsafe. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere.

most staff were very lovely, the cleaner was a sweetheart, yet some staff could use a lesson in social skills and how to manage situations. the hotel is a 25 minute walk to the beach and has a free beach bus that has scheduled times to and from the beach/hotel. it is easier to take the bus as there is a dual carriageway between the hotel and the beach. there are many ramps as alternatives to stairs for disabled access.

You will certainly not be getting a 5 star rating from me. I have never stayed at such a poor excuse of a hotel. I have no idea how you have such a good rating online, I can only think that the reviews must be fake! The customer service is appalling! How can you expect people to return when the staff treat you as if you are an inconvenience to their day? I had to make the receptionist aware that we had arrived to check in 3 times because she was too busy chatting to her mate. The shower curtain in the room was disgusting, the shower was not adjustable so could not shower properly. It had to be detached in order for us to actually be able to wet ourselves. The hot food was cold. The salad bar consisted just of cabbage, no other salad bits in sight! For the price we paid, the variety of food was poor. Breakfast was the same thing every day, and no fresh fruit was available. There was no butter at the buffet, I had to ask for it. The amenities were broken, ie the the pool table was not available for use because it was "broken". The staff said there were no cues available. We managed to play one game of table tennis, and when we wanted to play it again the next day we were told the ball was broken. My partner cut himself on a sun lounger where it had been broken and not repaired or replaced. We removed 3 such broken sun loungers to where the pool table was so that nobody else hurt themselves on it. They were then put back by staff, with a total disregard for customer wellbeing. The only positive thing about our stay was the actual pool. I will never return to this place and I will let everyone in my path know that they should never waste their money on this excuse of an accommodation. Other people felt the same, and their concerns were just shrugged at by staff. Know that I will be putting this exact review on Google, and anywhere else I can so that people can be aware. Although, you only post fake reviews anyway, so what good would that be?

This hotel is a complete joke. The photos online are from the main building, but that’s not where you’ll actually stay. Instead, you get escorted to shabby rooms that look more like a cheap roadside motel, far from the advertised hotel itself. The reality is awful: it takes forever for warm water to come through, there were no bedsheets or toilet paper provided, and the room was filthy with visible mold. The door was half broken, and the shower was so tiny and grimy that I didn’t even feel safe using it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. False advertising at its finest.

Inclusive Minds Specialist Tutoring Service

We were a bit sceptical at first as we had some problems with our room (the ‘double’ being two single beds pushed together that were different heights and our window not being able to close) however the hotel was very helpful and gave us a free upgrade and sent maintenance the next day to fix our window. Hotel staff really made our experience, being very kind, friendly and helpful. Drinks were very nice with an option for sex on the beach, Diagoras special (rum based cocktail) and most spirits and mixers. Food was nice however was a bit repetitive (majority the same things but a couple different dishes each night). The hotel is a 15 minute walk from most bars and shops and is spread over 3 sites with 3 different pools. We loved this as we could move around these different sites and still get our all inclusive drinks at two of them! We didn’t mind walking back and forth as it only took a few minutes however the hotel did also offer a golf cart which went back and forth all day.

Just had an amazing week here. The staff could not do enough for us, so friendly always say hello and stop and talk to us. The hotel was so clean our room was made up every day. The food was great lots of choices.. the cocktails were great our favourite was number 7 lol. We wanted a small hotel with lots of places to see and visit and white olive Lindos did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.

Overall the hotel was really lovely-rooms were comfy and clean and the staff were wonderful and so friendly. Food on the all-inclusive buffet was better than expected and a great selection. Only downside would be the pool area is very busy and quite tightly packed in-lots of big groups taking over the pool and playing loud music, so not the best spot if you want a peaceful break, but definitely more advice for potential travellers rather than a critique of the hotel!

I had an amazing week at this hotel. There was almost always access to drinks, ice cream, milkshakes, and delicious food. The staff were friendly, and the pool area was great. The location was also perfect – close to both the beach and a store. The air conditioning in the room was a big plus, though it sometimes got warm because housekeeping left the terrace door open, which turned off the AC. The food was incredible – tender meats, fresh fish, great sides, and delicious desserts. Definitely a highlight! There’s also a tennis court and small gym, but these were quite worn and didn’t match the rest of the hotel’s quality. Overall, a wonderful stay that I’d gladly recommend!

Second time staying at this hotel, first time with my son and second time with my partner. On both occasions it proved to be a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The pool is fantastic and also quiet and relaxed. The food is excellent with a good selection of Greek authenticity. The location is perfect, quiet and with easy access of places like Lindos. Minutes from a gorgeous beach. Without hotel entertainment it would be unbeatable in our opinion.

We travelled from Embonas, the roads to Pefkos leading to this hotel are beautiful. The location is very good, away from the busyness and noise of the strip (don’t worry it’s not Ibiza) so it is super quiet. It’s a 5-10min walk to the beach or to the main stretch of bars. An easy walk for families with children. We were lucky to have a room with a view of the pool and the coastline. Staff carried our luggage to the room and later gave us a complimentary bottle of Rosé and fruits, very unexpected. Customer service is excellent, staff are very good at remembering faces and even your room number, perhaps this is because we stayed in October where there is less holiday makers but still a rare, pleasant surprise. They are very attentive, always smiling. The hotel is not too big so getting around is easy, please don’t expect pool-side waiters to be getting your drinks order, it’s just quicker to get it yourself at the bar. The food is medium-quality (expected) and overall tasty. Based on the size of the hotel the variety was great, not too big, not too small and always warm. Meat, fish and veg dishes like spinach pie are flavourful and taste fresh. Desserts are just within the okay bracket but the mains are worth going back to for seconds. Breakfast is good if a little safe, scrambled eggs for example lacked seasoning and were over-cooked (we all prefer them creamy with salt & pepper right?). I really enjoyed pouring my own lager and mastering it. Coffee is good from the machine and you can ask for alternative milk. Listed free cocktails are enjoyable enough, failing that you can pay a little extra for something more familiar like Mojito. We had a really good relaxing stay and the hotel is excellent value for money. The only few oddities, not negatives, were the shower screen is small in the bathroom so if you’re not careful you can get the bathroom floor wet. There is also no arm/handle for the second shower head so it is just lodged behind the shower spine (might be a Greece thing). We played tennis on the court (free) but 2 out of the 4 balls were ruptured which dampened the experience. Finally, each glass pane in the main building has an annoying caution logo (!) which kind of ruins the aesthetics of the building. I recommend this hotel and Pefkos is a great destination for couples and families.
