We had an excellent stay, beautiful asthetics and really clean. Kids (aged 3-8) had a ball and loved the fact they could go off to the bar/get ice cream on their own as it was safe was great. We had a private pool but didn’t use it much as there were so many pools to explore. The queues at the bar at peak times were sometimes long but the free mini bar meant that we could bring drinks with us. Will definitely be back! X

A great hotel with really good facilities. Staff are friendly. Stam was lovely. The ice cream was one of the best I’ve had. The waffles are also amazing. The man making Waffles is the hardest working guy in the hotel. My only complaint would be that you have to queue a lot for drinks, waffles and ice cream, more staff are probably needed in those areas

I had an amazing stay at this hotel — it truly exceeded my expectations. There are so many pools and spaces to relax, it never felt crowded. Whether you’re looking to unwind or stay active, there’s plenty to do around the resort. The beach is good — clean, spacious, and just steps away. Overall, a fantastic place for both families and couples. Try the breakfast at the Greek restaurant!! Highly recommended! Thanks Stan for making this holiday special!!

I stayed at the hotel with my tow daughters age 15 and 9. We had a really good time, my tow daughters loved it and wanted to stay for longer. The a la carte restaurants were fabulous just make the reservations in advance because they get fully booked really fast. No words to describe how amazing everything was.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff is incredibly attentive and truly customer-oriented, also when it comes to children. We visited with our 1.5-year-old daughter and found the hotel to be absolutely ideal for babies and young kids. We stayed in early May—unfortunately the weather wasn’t perfect, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. There’s a large, fun play area where kids can really enjoy themselves. The rooms are very practical, especially for families with little ones. The food was delicious and available in abundance. A big thank you to the kind waiters in the restaurant and especially to the lovely Stam for her warm attention. She checked in with us several times to make sure everything was to our liking. At this hotel, you’re not treated like just a number—they truly see and care about you as a person. Highly recommended for families!

First of all, big thanks to all the staff, that includes gardeners too. They work so hard and will always greet you with a smile they just can't do enough for you. Also special thanks to Alex the waiter at the buffet restaurant, he is such a nice person and will always ask how you are and will make you feel appreciated. The food at the buffet was amazing, I never had a bad meal and always had seconds. The A La Carte restaurants were 10/10. But make sure you book these before arrival as they get booked pretty quickly. The rooms are newly renovated and are exactly how the photos are. A nice touch is that the mirrors in the bathroom are all heated so never mist up. Just be aware that there are many stairs but there are lifts. Its still a 5* hotel. I will be returning!

Hotel Review: The hotel itself is visually stunning — beautifully designed with a modern, aesthetic feel. Our room was lovely, everything functioned well, and it was cleaned daily to a high standard. The pool and beach areas were also a highlight — clean, relaxing, and well-maintained. However, there were some disappointing aspects that took away from the overall experience. Despite the majority of guests being English-speaking, communication with staff was a real challenge. Basic requests were often misunderstood, which made service frustrating and extremely slow at times. Location is it quite far out the way and beach is covered with sun beds therefore not the best view. Buses were available but not that often therefore would recommend hiring a car. The buffet was particularly underwhelming for a 5-star resort. The variety was poor, with very limited fish and vegetarian options, and several dishes repeatedly unavailable. Many advertised amenities such as billiards and watersports were closed, and to our surprise, you had to pay extra for things like billiards — despite being listed as included. The à la carte restaurants were the only truly enjoyable dining option, but you could only book them once during your stay. Snack bars were also inconsistent — advertised to open at 12, but rarely did so before 12:30. Overall, while the setting and rooms were beautiful, the hotel didn’t live up to 5-star expectations in terms of service, food, and activity availability. With a few improvements, it could be excellent — but for now, it falls short.

The Hotel and the location were very beautiful, the rooms were clean and modern. The only issue we had was the service, many of the waiters didn‘t speak english. Contrary to many opinions here: we liked the main restaurant a lot and thought it was better than most of the a la carte restaurants. All in all a very beautiful experience, would come again!

We have just arrived back in the UK after staying in summer palace for a week. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and couldnt do enough for us. The bar manager called Arthur really made an effort to speak to us and made us feel really special. He knew what drinks we wanted before we even asked for them. Our room was spotless clean and we had a sea view which was amazing. The restaurant staff were lovely and the food was gorgeous. This hotel is definitley worth a visit. We will be back

Second year here as a couple and going to book next year. The all inclusive is great and has good variety but I would only ask that the allergy information gets filled out properly at the buffet please. Both of the guys at the main bar (the two Georges) went above and beyond for us as well as Billy always taking care of our table. Riggs the entertainer is great at hosting events during the day at the pool and in the main bar every few evenings. The staff make sure you feel well looked after and leave a great impression. See you all next year!

Rooms are neat and clean. Associates are polite and interactive. It's a beautiful hotel with a beach just a short walk away. The breakfast layout is good. Plenty of choices. Bread products, eggs, sausages, and bacon, fresh fruit, yogurts, and roasted tomatoes with garlic and cheese. Many other food choices. Only real downside to the location is that to go see anything like the port, castle, ruins, and shops, you have to take a cab or rent a car. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay, especially if you are here just to relax.

We have just come back for a 3 night break, first off, no way is this a 5 star, rooms are of a 3*, bathroom floor and tiles are thick with scum, shower head filthy and barely throws out water, and the shower curtain has seen better days. The food is the same every day, just nothing wholesome to eat, the chef does cook some fresh food on the grill which is the best thing. Reception, friendly and helpful Bar lady was lovely and always happy. Overall the rooms are not the best and the bed linen is pretty terrible, I’d say a 3 star here at a push, 5 star? No way!!!

Love this hotel! The closest town is within easy walking distance and from there it's easy to get to other towns on the island. We had a beachfront apartment which had stunning views across the sea. It was set a little away from main hotel next to the beach bar. We were all inclusive guests. The package is great, we didn't want for anything during our stay. The buffet has a varied selection so there is always something to cater for whatever you might fancy The staff were so nice, thank you so much to Nikos who really went above and beyond. A real credit to the hotel :)

Very enjoyable stay. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and well positioned close to one of the pools. The grounds of the hotel were attractive and well maintained and there was lots of space for guests around the two pools. The nearby beach was also pleasant and the beautiful sunsets were a highlight each evening. There was plenty of choice of food and drink at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality was always good. Car hire is the best way to explore other beaches and resorts on the island as the location is a bit removed from the main tourist areas. Excellent value for money.

This is a fabulous resort with something for everyone. We spent a wonderful week at Mitsis Norida. As a family of 4 with 2 young children, we were provided with amazing customer service and facilities to enjoy and relax. The children's entertainment includes water slides, kids’s club, kids’ pools, playground, kids’ disco and the list can go on. The kids’ club and disco are amazing and our 6-year old wanted to attend them every day. The food is also amazing and with plenty of choice. The resort is incredibly clean and the views of the sea are stunning. Lastly, I would like to say that the staff at the resort are amazing! They are always smiling, very friendly and ready to help. They are great with kids too! If you are looking to spend a carefree holiday in Greece, we highly recommend Mitsis Norida :)

We’ve stayed at a few Ikos hotel and this one by far is our absolute favourite. Fixed any problems asap and superseded our expectations. Great service clean delicious food and overall many beautiful with excellent staff just the best resort ever: our stay here compelled us to visit the other Ikos resorts and as nice as they were this place was our favourite.

We stayed at Ikos Aria and while many aspects were beautiful — the setting, facilities, and generally kind and respectful staff — we experienced a repeated issue that left a sour note. On the first two days, two members of staff touched our daughter’s hair, out of curiosity or admiration we felt it was inappropriate. We let management know and staff were reminded. The next night a member of management touched our daughter’s hair again. Staff members touched our baby’s Afro-textured hair without permission. While they were apologetic when corrected, this repeated invasion of her personal space made us feel uncomfortable and even hesitant to leave her in the crèche where we can’t correct people’s behaviour. We raised our concerns with management and were offered a massage, deluxe area access, and beautifully thoughtful touches including special menus and warm greetings from the head chef — all kindly arranged by Karina. These gestures were appreciated, but what we truly hope to see is proper staff training around cultural sensitivity and personal boundaries. Afro hair is not to be touched without consent. Ikos Aria offers many five-star features, but this repeated issue took away from what should have been a completely relaxing and respectful experience.

We stayed as a family of four in June 2024. Loved: The hotel itself is lovely, very clean and the gardens are immaculate. We stayed deluxe and it was never an issue to get a sun bed. The staff go out their way to help you - one evening our waiter went to a different restaurant just to get a bottle of the wine I liked. Booking the Tesla was really easy. We also took the pedlo out to the island which was a hit with the kids. Didn't love so much: We booked a pool view room with private garden. What we got was a pool view room but only if you walked right to the end of the garden and looked to the left. Appreciate it's a minor point - we just expected to be able to see the pool from the room. Restaurants were hit and miss. Some of the evening meals were fabulous, others were quite disappointing. We also found the buffet to be akin to any other all inclusive, rather than a step up. The sunset cruise. Not sure why they call it 'sunset' as you can't see the sun - it's on the other side of the mountain! It was also very windy and overcrowded. We did laugh though. When leaving, we didn't get our deluxe gift. We also noted that when we arrived, the children's welcome pack wasn't in the room. Just felt like a lack of attention to detail. Considering what we paid, I'm not sure we would return.

Everything has been outstanding. Staff are extremely friendly & accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The word NO doesn't exist in their vocabulary. The live shows are very entertaining. They are the epitome of professionalism and customer service.

Very clean hotel but not a 5Star Hotel. Rooms have been nicely renovated. Views are Great! Breakfast horrible. Has nothing to do with a Five Star breakfast. In 10 minutes by foot you are in Town where you get better breakfast. Please don’t book this hotel if you can’t Walk up a hill or down. Ways are very steep.

The first look at the hotel looks great a bit dated now tho but for the Location is great the views are amazing the rooms are okay the bathroom needs sorting out specially with the shower and the way it's been put in they are clean but definitely not a 5 star hotel 4 star after talking to the locals they say maybe 20 year ago 5 star but on the island itself there no 5 stars. ( from the locals) Plus only a 5 minute walk to town. The food was alright nothing special really some of the waiter was not so good one didn't really understand then told me to go to the bar ask for some water it never come one just passed it on to other one and walked off he didn't really do much apart from stand and walk around looking lost the bar tender on the day had no clue on how to do drinks the Manger had to come in and tell her how todo it apart from that all the other are very hard working and helpful. Some of the pools tiles are starting to lift up and I have got a small cut on my foot because of this. The room maids are good just need to change the towels more often rather then every 2 days or so apart from that yeah no complaints. My overall experience here was good just need to put that little bit in and make it a 5 star and push the service to the next level most of the staff are very friendly and welcoming and hard working I like to give my full honesty opinion and I will never sugar coat it in any reviews I do. The grand blues beach hotel was a good stay I would recommend it I would stay again very breath taking views from my room.

Very nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms. The food is varied and good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The entertainment is particularly great. Whether by the pool or in the evening. Always fun. The hotel beach is very rocky and not recommended, but a hundred meters away is a very nice sandy beach with boat rentals and jet skis. The path up to the restaurants and reception is really steep and strenuous. But you can call a golf cart to take you up. Another positive thing to mention is that there is a very large selection of all-inclusive drinks and only branded drinks are served and not cheap booze.

A fantastic week at the Grand Blue Hotel. The photos on the website really don’t do it justice! If you have mobility difficulties I would definitely think about where you would like your room and it is quite a ‘hilly’ resort. However there are buggy’s that taxi you around the resort. The entertainment pool was a favourite of ours and it had a brilliant atmosphere. My partner particularly liked the water polo! The beach is a little small but in a short walk you can reach parts of the sea that are perfect for snorkelling. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the closest town where you will find bars and restaurants. This was very handy if we weren’t fussed on the evening buffet but on the whole the food had something for everyone. We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous hotel and we will definitely be back!

If this is what qualifies as a 5-star hotel, then I’d love to know who’s handing out the stars — because this place barely scrapes a 3. The fact that we paid premium prices plus a tourist tax for a so-called luxury experience feels like a joke. Actually, no — it feels like daylight robbery. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to stay in a hotel that time forgot, look no further. From the moment I stepped into the hallway, I was greeted by flickering lights and carpets that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since the early 2000s. Nothing says “welcome” like dim lighting and mystery stains. Things only got better once I entered the room — and by “better,” I mean worse. The air conditioning didn’t work, which was great because who doesn’t love sleeping in a sauna? I thought I’d cool off with a shower, but surprise! The shower handle was broken, so turning it on was completely out of the question. Naturally, I tried to call the front desk to ask for help. But of course, the room phone didn’t work either. Honestly, at this point, it wasn’t looking good. The only real positive was the staff at the pool bar — friendly, helpful, and actually seemed to care. Massive credit to them. Bottom line: this hotel is pretending to be something it’s not, and charging luxury rates for a budget-level experience. Save your money, your patience, and your sanity — and book literally anywhere else.

Do your research before booking. I thought I had, but definitely not enough. The hotel is very tired and has areas all through not occupied. In its day, I can imagine it was worthy of 4 star. However, in 2005 3* at best. The pros are > Lovely initial reception area. Nice pool area. The food in main restaurant is fresh with plenty of choice. Themed nights mean a variety offered. The panoramic views are superb. Spa has great reviews and appears clean and well presented. I've not used. It has a gym adequately stocked with mostly cardio machines Car hire and cycle hire at bottom of the rd. Not so good > Reception staff are unhelpful and pass the buck. Sending you on errands to get your own milk, tea bags, coffee and water that's unfortunately not been replenished in your room. The fridge pops in the room and water are not included in the all-inclusive. (We were not advised). No information apart from restaurant opening times given on arrival. There is no map or advice on the area. The lifts often don't work. The public toilets soap dispensers are frequently broken. Empty of soap went on for days. House keeping do not change dirty teaspoons. Made a tea first day the spoon was still there stained on day 4. We asked 4 times for the sofa bed to be put back into a sofa which was never done. We did ourselves in the end. Ants in room. Even in my medication box. The plastic cups around the pool are awful. Should be using reusable plastic. All inclusive drinks are OK at best. Pool bar closes at 6pm. The pools close at 6 pm, which is ridiculous. The lifeguard blows her whistle, and the both pools are cordoned off with rope!? This is the best time of day. Come on 7pm would be far more appropriate. Towels on arrival were damp on the bed. No finesse to anything carried out in our room. Blaze attitude from housekeeping when I asked for water to be left. Sick in restaurant left there for over an hour with tissue on top.if it. Absolutely gross! Witnessed a senior staff talking in a very demeaning manner to one of the waitresses in the middle of restaurant in the evening. Not enough staff behind the bars. Long queues. Impatient people evidence. This hotel is clearly short staffed with an awful lot of improvements to make. We have spoken to our jet 2 rep who was very good but not too surprised I have to add. We both feel very let down with our holiday but are making the best of it. Los is beautiful and we have ventured out and hired bikes which was fun. Jet 2 haven't taken this hotel on motor too long and are very aware this hotel is not 5 star!! Ps the sky bar is great as are the bands that play there. We are frequently travellers and the good reviews suggest younger crowds perhaps who maybe have not experienced 5* service.

A Wonderful Stay at Kipriotis Panorama Hotel We recently returned from an unforgettable stay at the Kipriotis Panorama Hotel, and we’re already missing it. Nestled in the hills just above Psalidi, this hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views over the Aegean Sea—and the sunsets? Absolutely magical. Each evening felt like a postcard come to life, best enjoyed from the terrace or one of the stylish Sky bar. Speaking of bars, a special mention must go to Zanetta and Rana, who made every visit to the bar feel personal and fun. Their warmth, professionalism, and great energy added so much to our stay. In fact, all the staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming—it made a big difference and gave the place a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The hotel itself is spacious and beautifully laid out. Everything feels open, airy, and clean, with plenty of spots to sit and take in the surroundings. The pools are fantastic—well-maintained and offering both lively and quieter areas depending on your mood. And just a short stroll away is a lovely sandy beach, perfect for a refreshing dip or a peaceful moment in the sun. The location is also ideal—conveniently close to Kos Town, making it easy to explore the island or pop out for some local culture, food, and shopping. Another thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated was the shower room available for guests with late afternoon flights. It made all the difference, allowing us to enjoy our last day to the fullest and freshen up before leaving. Overall, the Kipriotis Panorama Hotel is a perfect blend of natural beauty, warm hospitality, and practical comfort. We left with wonderful memories and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable escape in Kos.

Visited in September 2024. The food was lovely - lots of choices, clean spacious room but outdated, and brilliant views. Our room was downgraded which wasn't a good start. There were two pools but small and it was difficult to swim as they would hold daily activities in the pool so you'd have to either stand in the pool or get out. People were not interested in taking part yet the animation team would go around forcing people to join. The cocktails were shockingly horrendous they really need to improve. The beach isn't the best. I personally wouldn't class the hotel as 5 stars, it is in my opinion more of 3/4 star.

The best place in Kos. Premium services, amazing panorama and views, very calm place and peaceful. The food was amazing , very tasty and a reach selection of many types of food to please everyone, very clean, spotless, clean rooms , beautiful spa. Great reception and friendly staff. We stayed here on an all inclusive basis and had a really good holiday. The food is abundant, with a large variety of choice. It is freshly cooked and well prepared. Everyone will find something they like. You could use the buffet all holiday without getting bored. The bookable restaurants are only worth doing if you are on all inclusive as the menu prices are steep for what you get and not value for money if paying direct. We found the staff here to be friendly, polite and always wanting to make your stay as good as possible. We had an issue with one of our rooms initially which was sorted to our satisfaction with a minimum of fuss. This hotel and its grounds are immaculately clean and well cared for. Virtually everywhere you go is spotless. It makes the environment very relaxing. The water feature around the outside dining area has a nice aesthetic too. The private beach is a bit grey and pebbly but the view across the water to Turkey is nice if a little hazy. This beach faces east so it is better for morning sun bathing. The sun loungers in the beach area are not as comfy as those around the pools. The pool bar is well placed and has an extensive drinks menu. The 1930s bar near reception is a quieter place to spend the evening with cocktails outside in comfortable seats. For me it is not 5* though as there are some annoying niggles which they should sort out. It is basically down to a lack of staff. Most annoying of all is getting to the Lagoon restaurant to find that there are no tables available. This is not because they are full but because there are lots of tables that have been vacated and not cleaned and reset. They need to get on top of this because it is a real negative. In addition, there is never enough staff at the pool bar resulting in long waits in the sun for drinks. This could easily be rectified with a couple of extra bar staff. Overall, though, we had a really good holiday. Would I recommend it? Yes, but with the staffing caveats above.

It's an unfair comparison but I had visited ikos only weeks earlier which is simply outstanding. This has a different price point and once you accept that you can accept its offering is not the same. That said whilst the rooms are tired and in need of an upgrade this is a great reasonably priced hotel and excellent for families. Biggest problem was cold sea water pools and for this reason alone I suspect we wouldn't return

I spent over a lot of money on a family holiday and was very disappointed with our experience. The queues for meals, especially breakfast, were absurd—almost like a scrum just to get food. By the time we returned to our table, the food was often cold. Some days, we decided to skip breakfast altogether. The coffee served was lukewarm most mornings. Our family room felt tired and outdated. Initially, there was a third bed that was too small, but it took a couple of days for them to address this issue. The drinks package was advertised as including branded options, but we only started receiving those after raising our concerns. Entertainment was limited to just an hour, and there was little atmosphere afterward. The waitstaff at the pool bar seemed disinterested; I had to ask multiple times for a drink one evening, despite it not being busy. Additionally, I was uncomfortable with the continued serving of foie gras, which I believe is an outdated and unethical practice. Be cautious of the photographer who may approach you, as they try to sell you a package of 12 photos for €130. Lastly, trying to relax by the pool was nearly impossible due to the noise from lawnmowers and strimmers. Overall, I would not recommend this resort. If you can, invest extra and opt for an Ikos resort, as we did last year. This place does not live up to its four-star rating!

We recently stayed here for a week and were blown away by the hotel and the service we received. We arrived at the hotel around midnight after our flight and were greeted by front desk staff who took our bags and led us to the restaurant where we were given a complimentary buffet dinner, which we were grateful for after a long flight! Our room was very comfortable, with all the amenities expected. The hotel is stunning, exceptionally well maintained with plenty of pools, bars and restaurants as well as beautiful views across the sea. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel that will take you into Kos town, or there are plenty of e-scooters around to rent, which is what we used. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and could not do more for you. Our only small comment would be for the pool loungers to be more carefully monitored. Hotel policy seems to be that you cannot reserve pool loungers by placing towels on them, but we were confronted by a French family who insisted that they had “booked” our loungers. A sign did go up beside the pool a few days before we left stating that unattended towels would be moved after 30 mins but we did not see this take place. I think it would help if this was more carefully kept an eye on so people aren’t able to “reserve” a sunbed all day with towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this or any Grecotel hotel to friends and family.

Really impressed with this hotel. Rooms were good though the Tv could be better. But the service is outstanding. Staff are so positive and helpful and this is what makes a huge difference. Food is excellent., both at the main buffet restaurant and at the separate lrestaurants. Location is great, with lots of sun beds around pools and also on the beach. Beach is pebbly but that means it’s great for snorkelling. Strongly recommend for a lovely relaxing break

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this hotel is for all it has to offer, especially as we are still here and travelling home tonight. The staff are so hardworking but remain happy, efficient and polite. The sense of feeling welcome never left us. The chefs and dining staff performed wonders at offering us a massive choice of meals, more or less 24hrs a day. The quality of the food is superb. The housekeeping is first class and the beds a so comfortable it's unreal. Along with the beach buggy hire which is part of the complex, you can hire bikes, scooters and cars too. We had fun in a buggy. Kos town is lovely too, and full of historical interest if you're that way inclined. We came here at the very start of the season, so its been a mixture of rain and breeze along with the improving sunshine. The place is quite full as its Easter break, however the hotel is spread so well, you never feel crowded. We will be back for sure. A top quality hotel, with top quality people working in it to make everyone feel a bit special.

Wow Mitsis Ramira. Firstly all of the staff are 5 star ⭐. A special mention to Marjana who looked after our room for the 11 days we stayed.what a lovely lady. Linda housekeeping manager who had time to talk to us another lovely lady. Miltiadis and Behzad these two lovely men are a credit to the Ramira, they bring so much happiness to your holiday they certainly did for us. The long serving gentleman down at the beach bar is another special man sorry forgot your name, I believe he has worked at the Ramira for 45ish years extraordinary . The reception staff are so kind and helpful. And a big thank you to Athina who was so kind and got my wives walking stick back to her after she had left it behind at the Ramira. Athina is such a lovely and helpful lady who is part of the management team. A big thank you to all the staff in all the bars and restaurants. We were both looked after extremely well. This is one of the finest all-inclusive resorts I have ever experienced. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and the hotel itself was remarkable—accessible, situated in a tranquil area, and truly perfect. The hospitality was outstanding; although we encountered a check-in issue due to my oversight, the gentleman at the reception reassured us and went above and beyond to ensure our reservation was correct and that we were in the right place. Fortunately, we managed to check in within 15 minutes despite the minor hiccup. Upon entering our room, we were welcomed with fresh towels, clean sheets, and spotless floors; the room was impeccably tidy. There was no dust on the surfaces or smudges on the windows, and this level of cleanliness was maintained throughout our stay, with regular cleaning and fresh towels provided. Our room included a mini fridge that was consistently replenished. The buffet offered an impressive variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone at every meal, and the cocktails and soft drinks available in the bar areas were excellent. The entertainment was enjoyable, featuring different acts and shows each night that catered to families. The staff were exceptional, from the reception team to the restaurant and bar personnel, as well as the guest relations team and shopkeepers; all were friendly and incredibly helpful. A few staff members truly stood out and enhanced our experience, and while I could list them all, it would be quite extensive, which speaks volumes about their hospitality. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the guest relations team, who reached out to discuss a birthday package upon learning it was my birthday during our stay. They surprised us with a cake and a complimentary bottle of bubbly delivered to our room, which genuinely made my day. Currently having a week's stay here and I have to say it's so much better than I expected. The hotel is spotless, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is lovely with a huge choice. The animation staff I have to give a big thumbs up!!!! They are so friendly and have the majority of the guests joining in the activities. A big shout out to Chico and Carlos who are amazing at their job. I have only one downside at that it the hotel tax which for myself was €120 which I felt was extortionate. Apart from that I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was my first time in Greece and I truly recommend it! 🩷 Beautiful surroundings, delicious and beautifully presented food, tasty drinks 🍝🧁🍦🍹 The rooms are cleaned daily. There’s a large pool and a jacuzzi (unfortunately, the water was still cold 🥶). The staff were very kind and helpful. The same goes for the animators (Chico, Carlo, Ben and Max) - always smiling, friendly, and creative with the activities 🎤💃🧘‍♀️ I hope I’ll get the chance to visit this hotel again. Highly recommended! 🥰

Service can do no wrong!! They would do anything for you, and everyone was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Faultless service, really. The location was perfect for us. Beach front, pool if you wanted. Multiple car rentals local to the hotel that will drop off and collect rentals on request. Buggie, car, cycle rental shop just a walking distance down the road. Kardemena is on the quieter side of the island, with Kos port and Lambi being a little more populated and touristy. Kardemena was great for us, the Sovereign specifically due to being in walking distance from the busier Kardemena Port, which has lots going on restaurant and shops-wise, but also quiet enough that the nightlife never really disturbed us. The food at the hotel was perfect for anyone who consumed meat, fish and/or dairy. Just a great variety, every night. The freshly made omelette for breakfast were my favourite, the endless coffees were my partners favourite. For vegetarians, again, lots to choose from. Unfortunately, not so much for the vegans except bread and salad/fruit. Vegans wouldn't go hungry, but they also wouldn't experience as much variety and exotic choices as the rest of us. (But I guess thats just vegans anyway). Rooms were great. We stayed in a simple twin with a side sea view, and it was lovely. We were out most of the time but had everything we needed, and it was a comfortable stay. The overhead shower is poorly positioned, as it soaked the floor and toilet seat every time. We used the side shower head instead, opting to hold and aim so we could avoid the soggy toilet paper and slippy floor. This was the only issue encountered and was avoidable so it didn't cause too much of a problem for us. Room service, again faultless. Lengthy review, but it was our first time in Kos, and it was the first time in Greece as a whole. Loved the hotel, loved the people and loved the opportunities we had there. I would gladly stay again, and would happily return to Kardemena in a heartbeat.

Step by step honest review on our 7 day stay in a Bungalow at The Sovereign Beach Hotel Reception staff, absolutely lovely, approachable and very helpful ( hope you find your Snow ❄️ Holiday and enjoy your visit home to see your Mam and your trip to Italy) Bar Staff, not the happiest but kept us topped up with Tequila in our Margaritas so can't really complain 😁 Restaurant staff are outstanding at there jobs and so polite, service with a smile. In my opinion the food is fantastic, with a tremendous choice for all. The chefs are all really nice and friendly and chatty as well, so it's a pleasure to eat in the restaurant. The Bungalow was quite basic for the extra money we paid and the swim up pool was like ice, so did not use it. The sun had gone by 11am but the hotel can't control the weather. Cleaned daily if needed. Shower is located to far along the wall, so the whole floor gets wet, so could be moved to help this issue. I would probably not pay the extra to stay in the Bungalow as if was not luxury but most of our days were spent at the beach. Location 10/10. Private beach 10/10. Pool area 10/10. Staff 1000/10 So overall... Hotel fabulous,Location fantastic, Staff amazing, Food delicious, Cocktails 😁, Beach superb and will definitely be back. Thank you all for Making our Anniversary a special one ❤️

Wow ....this hotel definitely deserves the 5* lux rating it has. From 1st arrival to leaving everyone and everything was perfect. Plenty of sunbeds at any time of the day and beautiful pools. We only stayed b&b so can't comment on what the evening meals were like but the breakfasts were perfect. Beautiful yoghurt, creme brulee, pastries, fresh honeycomb, help yourself selection or you could order off the menu and it was really good. All staff were super friendly with the exception of the lady on the desk as you go into the breakfast restaurant, she looked like she didn't want to be there, only spoke to say Kalimera (good morning) and so quietly you could juat about here her, she needs lessons in how to smile. Anthony the porter was so so lovely, always smiling, saying hello ma'am/sir if he saw you. Rooms immaculate and cleaned everyday by lovely staff who again were always polite and friendly. Only downside to this hotel is it's location to Kos town. We were led to believe it's 30 mins walk to town, it's definitely not.. it's at least 1hr and a taxi each way is €10 which works out quite expensive if you do this everyday. Maybe the hotel could lay on a shuttle bus throughout the day/evening. Taxis can be hit and miss especially when it's bad weather. You can hire bikes from reception and they arrive within 15 mins, we did this a couple of times and they were great. The beach across the road is quite pebbly and rocky so you need some kind of beach shoes if you want to go in the sea. Overall we had the most amazing, relaxing holiday but doubt we would return due to the location.

Unpleasant Stay So Far – Mouldy Room and Poor Customer Service I’m currently staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. The room has a strong smell of mould, which has made it uncomfortable to stay in. I brought this to the attention of the manager, expecting at least some effort to address the problem. Instead, I was told the hotel is “fully booked” and that there are no other rooms available—unless I pay extra. That’s very frustrating. It makes no sense that if I don’t pay more, there’s no availability, but if I do, a room suddenly opens up. This feels manipulative and unfair. The manager showed no real concern about the mould issue or my comfort as a guest. At this point, I’m still staying here, but I would not recommend this hotel based on the service and the lack of basic cleanliness. Hoping for some kind of resolution, but not holding my breath.

Booked this hotel for our honeymoon based off of the excellent reviews and photos, but honestly was a little disappointed. It claims to be 5 stars but I would seriously question that, it just didn’t have the polish and service of a true 5 star hotel. The pool is incredible but beyond that the hotel is fairly mediocre. The rooms are unusual with strange glass showers and bathrooms, the fixtures didn’t feel premium, and the water often ran cold or low pressure. Robes were included which is the only 5 star bathroom element, although they were scratchy and rough. The food was bland, and frustratingly not very Greek at all, not even the Greek salad was nice! And not a gyros in sight!! The food felt very basic and bland and cheap, no wow, and not especially high quality, definitely not 5 star quality. There was an a la carte restaurant option but we weren’t allowed to book as it was full, we asked nicely on account of it being our honeymoon but despite promising he’d he would try no one ever got back to us. In terms of drinks, everything felt cheap and watered down. Cocktails were served in children’s soft play style cups and very weak, or very harsh with cheap alcohol. The drinks at the main bar were better and in glass but still tasted cheap. I’d say the bar staff lacked the attention or customer focus one would expect at a 5 star hotel, they seemed disinterested and just didn’t have the level of service you’d expect. Annoyingly the drinks in the room are not all inclusive, and even if they were our fridge was empty. Most drinks are included but not all, given the price I’d say it should have all been included. A special mention for the wine, awful. All the wine served is as cheap as can be, the rose and white was acidic and harsh and just disgusting, with a vinegar taste. The Prosecco was also awful and didn’t taste nice at all. Very disappointing. I would say to stay here but not all inclusive and enjoy local food establishments but this is impossible as this hotel is so remote there is nothing around it at all, so your only option is to eat and drink in the hotel. The pool is nice, although arctic in temperature, but beyond that I can’t be very positive, it is worth staying here but only if you can get it at a very very good price, it’s only worth half what they charge to stay I would say.

One of the best hotels in Kos. I took an All inclusive deal for 4 nights and 5 days and it was worth every penny. The views, food and staff, all of it was 5*. They even upgraded us to Sea view room + offered A la carte 4 course dinner at their Asian Fusion restaurant Soya and I cannot say it enough, the food was one of the best I ever had. The chefs were from the Philippines and they made it as authentic as possible. The infinity pool and views of Sunrise from the hotel is a sight you can never forget and if given a chance, i would like to here again. The hotel is just 15 minutes from the Kos town and there is a bus going every couple hours both ways so its super easy and you do not even need to book a taxi. A big thank you to the team at the Hotel and I highly recommend it.

This hotel had such amazing potential but was so let down by service. A beautiful place with a gorgeous infinity pool and really lovely food throughout but thats where the positives stop. This was a big trip for us as we got engaged during our stay here and we were unbelievably disappointed in the lack of any acknowledgment from the staff. You would hope that there would be something whether a small message in the room or a congratulation gesture but we didn’t receive anything until we complained at reception as was told it was my partners fault because he had informed them it was a surprise even though they were aware it was to be done at the beginning of our trip. We only got to use one of the a la carte restaurants as the receptionist told us the asian restaurant was closed the night of our booking even though it was in fact not. The staff members at the poolside bar are fantastic and really friendly but the bartenders in the main bar are frankly rude and make you feel like you’re being a nuisance for ordering a drink. Really disappointed in the feeling and service of this hotel and would definitely not return.

Good - plenty of healthy food options, good salads - pretty fast drinks service - lovely bar on the beach, friendly lady who ran the bar - children’s facilities are good Bad - cleaner walked into the room without knocking - Room wasn’t ready until an hour after advertised - reception called our room 35 mins before check out to “remind” us to checkout which I seemed a bit unnecessary - two times I called reception from the room no one answered. - because nobody picked up at reception, ended up wheeling my luggage up a steep hill to get back to reception for checkout - rooms are not soundproof enough, I could hear people walking above us and talking outside - location of the resort is in the middle of nowhere, some people might like that

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is very good and 3 kilometers from the hotel there is a thermal bath. The service is very friendly and helpful. The manager of the main restaurant George is amazing. The waiter Anastas is great and friendly. The rooms are luxurious but we couldn't flush the toilet or close the bathroom door. There are ants big and small everywhere. Lots of cats running around the hotel grounds. The food was good and the gluten free food was lovely to eat. Overall the stay was lovely and the sea was clean. We will definitely come again and it was very nice.

Hotel is clean, rooms are clean and facilities are great. Reason for 3 star.. all inclusive... food was not great. Due to buffet style the food has lost all its flavour, its dry and not tasty at all. Even Greek salad was a 1*. Drinks and cocktails very basic and not strong alchol. Lack of lighting in the rooms. Rooms cleaned every day to a very good standard however you find ants in rooms due to location. There's only 1 toilet per pool and restaurant area so can have a queue. I would stay here again on a room only/ bed and breakfast basis. Local bus right outside. 2 euro/ 15mins to Kos old town. Plenty of great dinner options, reasonably priced. Private beach area very good also

We were on holiday for two weeks at the end of September. It was magical ,special and luxurious . Food was amazing all staff were friendly and professional especially our housekeeper room with a view to Turkey was great . We spent most of our time on beach as we love snorkeling . But pools looked amazing . We loved it so much we are hoping to come back 2025. So look forward to entertainment it was fabulous x I can't find anything negative . Well done . We travel a lot but this is definitely in our top 3 .. can't wait to come back ,😁😁😁😁

The food was nice, some of the staff here are lovely and are a credit to the hotel, however we did experience quite alot of issues here which didn't make it worth the money we spent. There was constant electrical faults In our room wires actually sparking in the night. Our shower didn't have any hot water for the first day and the rest of the time it was on and off. The staff by the swim up pool were handing out snacks to all the couples so my partner went and asked as we were all inclusive. They told us they were out and we needed to go to the other side of the resort but kept serving the other guests. We felt we were treated differently here. It's a shame because the facilities are excellent and everything was so clean.

I stayed at the hotel in May and had an excellent experience. At first, I booked a room with direct access to a pool, which turned out to be a great choice because the ocean was still too cold for swimming. Being able to step straight into the pool was very convenient and made relaxing much easier. The daily dinner buffet was delicious and had a good variety, but after the fifth night it started to feel a bit repetitive. For the last two nights, we changed to a room with a whirlpool. Looking back, it was not really necessary since the ocean and the pools were more than enough for us to enjoy. One of the most memorable moments was watching the sunset from the beach, which is directly connected to the hotel. It was a peaceful and beautiful way to end the day. Overall, everything was well organized and truly enjoyable.

I must say im not one for being happy about much or leaving a positive post about anything, but this hotel surprised me in so many ways. The hotel itself is beautiful New in feel and has an abundance of beautiful water features and swimming pools. The plantation, the lay out and the naturistic feel was very good. My main positive is the buffet. I've been to hotels everywhere thankfully through work and business but I genuinely mean this; its probably the best buffet food I've ever had. Fresh wild caught fish everyday, pigs killed fresh and delivered in many different ways, a variety of veg, salad and the presence of the head chef out and about over dinner is quite nice too! The two kids parks are brilliant. One for older kids and my 18 month old had the kids club park too run around in too, parents allowed in both of course. Lastly the staff, all over. Outstanding. The waiters and waitresses are incredible, the organisers for the kids parties and the adults entertainment also was brilliant. My overall experience here frim start to finish was very good! The only negative i have and I did travel in may so my fault more than the hotels The pools are a little cold, and theyre not 100% kiddy friendly but my 18 month old enjoyed them regardless and the shallow pools are fine for getting by!

We had a lovely time here, a perfect switch off retreat. The room was modern and clean. Ours opened out onto the pool with a swim up bar. They don't top up the tea and coffee in the room. Also, water isn't included for the room but purchased from the on-site shop. Being a foodie, I was worried about the food on an all-inclusive, but it was all good and seasoned perfectly. Thursday night was Greek night, and we had a traditional Greek feast with music and dancers in the outdoor restaurant for this night. which was great. There is no entertainment here, but we were free to enter the Gaia Royal Hotel next door, which does should that suit. The short walk down to the beach takes you past the petting zoo and the crazy golf. The perfect beach and crystal water of the Mediterranean with drinks from the beach side bar was a great addition to watching the sunset. There is a bus service if you walk 5 mins to the main road, or rental cars from the hotel at €60 per day, which we found for €30 at mastichari town, which also had a wonderful white beach and lovely little shops.

Well there were some pros and cons. We came for our first family holiday with our 8 month old child. The staff and people were mostly nice. The bar staff serving drinks by the pool are usually miserable but the waitresses are lovely. The hotel was full of Germans. No issue there although some are very rude, some also nice. The room was nice in appearance however had some real practical issues. The fridge didn't work, the air con didn't work and was dripping causing a leak and the safe didn't work. This meant 3 different engineers had to come out which I had to keep chasing reception. I felt like I spent half my holiday asking what was happening. There is also an issue with bugs and ants coming in the room. The food is pretty average. Very much caters for the Germans. Breakfast is always ok as there are eggs, toast, beans etc. Lunch and dinner can sometimes be repetitive but occasionally some good food. The restaurant is fairly small but wasn't ever overwhelming busy. The all inclusive is a bit questionable. You can get the basics but it's almost half board as they have separate 'extra' all inclusive things so not what we were expecting. On the pro side, the pool area is lovely, and clean. Really nice pool and the beach is fantastic a short walk away. Read some bad reviews about the zoo/farm but it wasn't too bad. Overall a nice holiday but certainly not a 5 star hotel, perhaps our standards are too high

definitely an interesting experience…. (PLEASE READ!!!!!) NOT A 5 STAR!! Me and my fiancé spent our first holiday away together at Gaia palace for 7 days.. the hotel itself is nice, very quiet as we went in may, nice clean environment, lots of variety of sunbeds, shaded bed areas, but we werent thrilled with the actual experience within the stay. First off we arrived at about 12:30AM, had to pay the tourist tax straight away which cost €15 per night for just 2 people which was an absolute joke especially after reading some of the reviews which said they only paid €4 per night, we arrived to the room absolutely knackered ready for some sleep only to find the bed SOAKING wet, it took them ONE HOUR! To come round and give us fresh clean bedding. We knew that they definitely knew the cleaners put on wet bedding as the porch door was left open so it would dry off by the time we arrived .. which meant there were loads of ants and spiders now roaming the room. The receptionist told my partner who complained twice , once about the bedding and secondly to complain about how long it was taking to which he responded “it’s a bad time”. We also had to change it ourselves as apparently there was no one around to help. The room and shower itself was clean and spacious but the first night the shower completely broke so they had to then come and resolve that problem. For 5 nights we were both woken up at about 6am sometimes earlier to the cleaners literally just chilling outside our apartment door laughing, talking really loud and slamming things which wasn’t pleasant at all especially since once someone steps out of their room you can hear everything and quite annoying to say the very least. We also had one experience where the cleaner knocked on the door once but we weren’t sure if it was our door as the walls and door itself are quite thin, my partner went to get up and she just walked in saw me in my bikini and just said “okay” and walked back out … The food is very naff and repetitive, the same exact thing down to fruit is served every morning for breakfast, mostly always cold- I’m pretty sure the only thing that was changed was the filling in the omelets they served. Lunch and dinner is pretty much always the same except on Thursday is Greek night and they serve gyros. And we had an “Italian” night on Monday which was just a different assortment of pasta and doughy pizza . The salads they served were the exact same everyday which was dry old looking salads, dry cucumber, a lot of cheese and deli meat assortment and bread, fruit and veg were often very dry and repetitive , not a lot variety in terms of meat- mostly fish, chicken or beef which was dry most of the time We woke up pretty much every morning with quite a poorly tummy which could also be a result of the pure sugar drinks - The drinks are shocking. If you don’t pay for the “ultra all inclusive” you are served basically syrup with a-load of off brand alcohol. Very sugary and sickly off brand ‘coke’ and ‘lemonade’. Cocktails are served between 6-9pm and you only get a choice of three unless you want to pay to have one earlier or a different choice - which is just ridiculous for an ‘all inclusive hotel’ . The drinks are incredibly strong and sickly after about 2 of them. There are two onsite little shops which serve branded drinks and snacks which is nice but when you pay for an all inclusive I feel it should be a case of you still get decent quality drinks. I must also point out the hotel is in the middle of nowhere! Just surrounded by 2 other hotels, and cow fields, there is a bus stop at the top of the road but I’d suggest getting there early as the buses were rammed by lunch time. The beach is nice- we didn’t actually use the beach bar but there were a lot of sunloungers when we went to watch the sunset. It’s only a short walk passing the “Zoo” which absolutely stank. We didn’t go in as we heard ALOT of bad things being said about it and didn’t want to leave upset.

Got back from a wonderful family holiday on Tuesday! Gaia Palace Hotel really made our Summer! The rooms were lovely and the cleaners did a brilliant job of maintaining them. The hotel grounds are BEAUTIFUL - so much greenery and so well kept. Everything on site is an easy walking distance and there are multiple pools (which were a hit). The location is peaceful and quiet, as is the overall atmosphere. Every member of staff across the hotel were great especially the restaurant and bar staff (a special shoutout to the guy overseeing the daytime buffets - I didn't catch his name - who was always ready with a hello and a smile and super efficient with restocking). The food was delicious and there's SO much choice. The beach is just a short walk too and a great way to spend the day and watch the sunrise. All round perfect week away and a little bit disappointed to be home so soon. We will definitely be back!

Exceptional stay – our new favorite getaway! Everything was amazing! A true oasis where we fully relaxed. The design is stunning: elegant yet cozy, with a sense of approachable luxury. The staff were incredibly kind and professional. We loved the restaurant area, and the food was tasty and well presented. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back. It’s officially our new go-to place!

Very stylish hotel with exceptional staff and hospitality. I arrived in poor health due to food poisoning. Hotel manager Christina gave me such a warm and concerned welcome, ordered extra special food for me and constantly enquired about my condition. What an extraordinary effort! The room was also gorgeous and special for our honeymoon. Fortunately, I was able to enjoy this beautiful hotel and the friendly staff again very quickly. Thank you very much, we will be back!

Well for me was it my very first time in Greek so I did learn Greek in Order to communicate. But surely in that Hotel everybody spoke fluent English. The service was splendid and everything super organized and top cleaning service. I have traveled the world already , but this hotel has a high class service by far the best I’ve witnessed and I did already stay in big hotel chains before such as Hyatt etc. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help with everything.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here at the start of October 2024. All who work there that we interacted with were extremely kind, thoughtful and attentive! The room was clean and beautiful! The breakfast was wonderful and we had a meal there a couple of times which was also excellent. A very peaceful place and we definitely hope to be back!

10/10!!! If you want to feel comfortable from the very first second you come here. Everyone is so friendly and you notice every second that everything is done to make sure you have the best time on vacation! Super well-maintained pool and beach area, an incredible breakfast and great rooms. Gladly always again!!!
