I have stayed in many international hotels throughout my life, both for work and for holiday, and this one is up there with the very best.
All the staff right across their organisation were very friendly and so helpful when you needed it.
The location of the hotel is like one you would choose for a movie that requires vistas of the mountains and the sea.
My only recommendation would be to centralise the kitchens for the buffet area so that it is not soooo far to walk to get your food. However, the food is so enjoyable that you need a little walk to burn off the calories from the amazing food that you can eat.
The choice of salads is the best I have seen on offer in any hotel.
Like I said, I loved the attitude of the staff in the hotel and they enabled my partner and I to have a wonderful holiday.

The rooms.. are not maintained unfortunately.. for 5 stars hotel you’d expect more.. and better.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location deserving of 5 stars. The staff are all welcoming and helpful, the food in all the restaurants was delicious and varied, and the service by the pool and beach was always delivered quickly and with a smile. Small details like plenty of free bottled water, fresh fruit platters and free snacks by the beach really help elevate the experience. We would definitely return.

Tonight a colleague and I attempted to visit one of the beaches here. According to the Greek constitution, and law, no beaches in Greece larger than 6 meters are considered “private” and SAFE access to the public CANNOT be hindered by ANY private persons or business.
A locked gate prevents safe access to both beaches. Upon requesting the night guard to open the gate for us to pass, we were spoken to in a completely unacceptable manner by him, and told to “go bt the sea”. Again I have to remind Grecotel that SAFE PASSAGE to beaches must be guaranteed to all persons, and there isnt a passage on the direct coast.
After I informed the night guard of our rights as citizens to enter the beach by any means, he threatened us with the police. If it wasn’t close to midnight I would’ve obliged, but at the time I couldn’t. The behaviour of the guard was incredibly threatening towards a young female (me).
This interaction was all captured on camera, and will be passed on to the relevant authorities as soon as possible. I urge Grecotel to re-educate their staff before they face fines or legal action.

Corfu Imperial, A Grecotel Resort to Live – Review
(Stay: 16–20 July 2025, Swim-Up Junior Bungalow Suite)
We stayed at Corfu Imperial in a Swim-Up Junior Bungalow Suite, which had a shared pool with only three rooms. The view from the balcony and pool was absolutely stunning and made our stay feel very special.
The resort is clean (I would rate it 8/10), and the restaurants — especially the breakfast restaurant — were excellent, truly a 10/10. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and the customer service was perfect (10/10).
There are three private beaches: one for adults, one for regular guests, and one for villa guests. A nice touch is the free “hop-on, hop-off” boat that takes guests to the sister resorts’ beaches.
We loved the outdoor cinema on the small island connected to the resort — such a beautiful place to watch a movie under the stars. The resort also has many water sports, kids’ programs, and fun activities that can all be booked easily through their app.
Every day, there is a free shuttle service to Corfu Old Town, making it easy to explore the area.
Final thoughts:
Corfu Imperial is a wonderful resort with great food, friendly staff, and beautiful views. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Corfu, and I would definitely come back.
