Corfu Imperial, A Grecotel Resort to Live – Review
(Stay: 16–20 July 2025, Swim-Up Junior Bungalow Suite)
We stayed at Corfu Imperial in a Swim-Up Junior Bungalow Suite, which had a shared pool with only three rooms. The view from the balcony and pool was absolutely stunning and made our stay feel very special.
The resort is clean (I would rate it 8/10), and the restaurants — especially the breakfast restaurant — were excellent, truly a 10/10. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and the customer service was perfect (10/10).
There are three private beaches: one for adults, one for regular guests, and one for villa guests. A nice touch is the free “hop-on, hop-off” boat that takes guests to the sister resorts’ beaches.
We loved the outdoor cinema on the small island connected to the resort — such a beautiful place to watch a movie under the stars. The resort also has many water sports, kids’ programs, and fun activities that can all be booked easily through their app.
Every day, there is a free shuttle service to Corfu Old Town, making it easy to explore the area.
Final thoughts:
Corfu Imperial is a wonderful resort with great food, friendly staff, and beautiful views. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Corfu, and I would definitely come back.

An exceptional property that delivers on discretion, comfort, and consistency. The three private beach access points are immaculately maintained, with seamless water taxi connectivity. Breakfast is extensive.
The seafood restaurant is outstanding in terms of service, quality, and taste. The Greek salad is possibly the best on the island, and the Italian restaurant is exceptional. Only the Greek restaurant falls below the otherwise impeccable standard.
Service throughout is polished and professional, and the in-house beauty salon is superb.
A distinguished hotel that comes remarkably close to perfection and in most areas, quietly achieves it.

Very nice hotel with beautiful facilities and friendly service. The pools are great, the food is great, the location is awesome, the employees are friendly. Some areas need improvement: beaches get very crowded during the day. They try to find you a spot but sometimes you have to then share a single chaise. They remove people's stuff that is unattended for a while which is a good thing. But in one instance we were placed somewhere by the attendant and then the original people came back after a while and got mad at us for "taking their space". I don't need this kind of stress when I am on vacation and definitely not in this price range!
The breakfast service is also often very crowded, just not made to handle the amount of people. This is not the fault of any worker and everyone was super nice - it's more of a design limitation.
The buffet dinner was very good - the food quality and variety was just exceptional.
And absolutely every employee is fantastic and friendly from the moment you pull up the driveway.

Absolutely Best Hotel in Corfu!! Filled with gigantic Beautiful Olive trees!! What a treat!! The location of the Hotel is an absolute dream. The property has everything, several beaches, restaurants, gelato shop, beach bars, outdoor cinema, and Eva palace hotel nearby also with a beautiful beach spot. You really don’t need to leave the property. We stayed in a bungalow. It was lovely to have our own heated pool. Staff was super polite and friendly. They have a beautiful green peninsula which I couldn’t take my eyes off. It was so beautiful to take photos and so hard to digest such a spectacular rich view. It was really like a dream being surrounded by by so many olive trees in one spot. We absolutely loved it. Absolutely recommended!!

This hotel experience truly depends on the exact room you book, it honestly feels like three completely different hotels in one. The standards and styles of the rooms vary drastically.
We originally booked a Deluxe Bungalow, but when we arrived and saw the room, we were shocked. It was nowhere near what we expected and we couldn’t imagine staying even one night. We immediately upgraded to the 2 Bedroom Roc Villa with a private pool, which was a huge difference and beautiful compared to the previous one.
However, to enjoy our stay, we ended up paying more than double our initial rate. It’s important to know that not all rooms reflect the same level of quality, so choose carefully. The Roc Villa made the experience worth it, but without that upgrade, it would have been a completely different story.
