The stay at this hotel was really great. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional, making me feel very welcome. They gave great recommendations and were always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well prepared. The beds were very comfy, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing. The food was also excellent — fresh, tasty, and with a good variety, especially at breakfast. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Big thanks to the whole hotel team for the amazing atmosphere!

We would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you’re looking to stay just outside of Old Corfu Town. The location is great and offers a nice balance of being accessible without being too busy. The rooms were perfect, really spacious and had everything you could possibly need. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, always happy to help and offer recommendations for places to visit around the island. The food was amazing, with a huge range of options for both breakfast and dinner. Dinner in particular was always varied, with different choices each night including meat, pasta, salads, traditional Greek dishes, vegetarian options, and an amazing selection of desserts and breads. The pool area was lovely, with plenty of sunbeds and lots of space, so it never felt crowded. The gym was on the smaller side but still had everything you’d need. There’s also a bus stop just a short five-minute walk away, with regular and reliable buses across the island. We didn’t feel the need to hire a car at all. Overall, we really can’t fault this place and would absolutely love to return in the future.

Bungalow junior suite. Room & Amenities We stayed at Hotel Art Debono in Corfu and overall had a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious and had a cosy, home-like feel. Personally, I prefer a more modern style, but if you enjoy a homely atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable and inviting. Some of the furniture, particularly around the bathroom area, was beginning to show its age and could benefit from some refreshing. The room amenities were fairly good. A 1-litre bottle of water was provided, and pool towels were already placed in the wardrobe, which was convenient. There was an amenity kit and shower cap, although no toothbrushes were provided. The slippers were quite flimsy. The bathroom had several mini conditioner bottles, and the shower area contained a combined body and hair wash as well as a bottle labelled as body and hair moisturiser, which seemed like an unusual place to keep it. One thing I appreciated was the water quality. After washing my hair, it didn't feel dry or heavy like it often does in very hard water areas such as London. Bathroom The bathroom was functional and clean, although I wasn't particularly fond of the pebble flooring in the shower area. It wasn't uncomfortable, but I personally prefer a smoother floor surface. Breakfast Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. There was a very wide selection of both hot and cold items, including English-style breakfast options, fresh and dried fruits, honeycomb, smoothies, and a make-your-own herbal tea station. The quality was good, and there was plenty of variety to keep things interesting over several mornings. Facilities The hotel has a comfortable lounge area with a television, plenty of sofas, and tables where guests can relax with a drink or play some of the board games provided. The pool was a decent size for the hotel, with plenty of sunbeds available. We arrived at the pool around 3 pm after check-in and still had no problem finding space. There were also two shaded canopy beds near the jacuzzi pool which were free to use, although they faced directly towards the pool and surrounding sunbeds, so they offered shade rather than privacy. The pool bar was reasonably priced. By European standards, the prices were very fair and seemed typical for Corfu. We tried some food there and found it to be good and reasonably priced. There is no spa on site. Massage treatments are arranged through an external company, and therapists come to your room when booked through the hotel. Service The reception staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. They weren't particularly chatty, but they were pleasant and professional throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we were offered a welcome drink, and the lemonade was especially refreshing. It was also available during breakfast, which was a nice touch. On checkout, we were given a small farewell gift consisting of three jars of local honey, which was a thoughtful gesture and a lovely souvenir to take home. Location The hotel is in a relatively quiet area. It was around a 10-minute walk to the nearest supermarket and approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot to restaurants and souvenir shops. The location suited us well as it was peaceful while still being within walking distance of amenities. Overall Hotel Art Debono provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. The excellent breakfast, pleasant pool area, thoughtful touches such as the welcome drink and farewell gift, and friendly staff all contributed to a positive experience. Some areas, particularly the ageing furniture and a few of the room details, could do with updating, but overall it was a comfortable hotel that offered good value and a peaceful atmosphere.

A wonderful family owned hotel. Wonderful staff. Exceptional food with a large variety of professionally cooked dishes and fresh salads. A short bus service to Corfu Town or further if you want to Paleokastritsa. Bus tickets available to buy in reception. Local shops and beaches in comfortable walking distance. Local evening entertainment. Large pool. Cannot fault our stay in the hotel. Thank you Debono x

Wow what a fantastic hotel. Food was delicious and so many choices. Staff were so friendly and super helpful. Hotel was clean and maintained well. It was a lovely quiet hotel and the bed was super comfy. Will definitely be back.

We recently spent a wonderful week in a family bungalow, which offered a beautifully peaceful, quiet setting and a fantastic sea view! The housekeeping was excellent - our room was thoroughly cleaned every day, and the fridge was consistently restocked. Loved the refill water bottle to use at the many refill stations scattered across the resort. All the à la carte restaurants were good; the Greek restaurant was our favourite for food, while the Seaside Grill offered stunning views and great live music. The Italian restaurant was a perfect, easier walk in option for lunch. Although the reservation app was down during our stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure we got all the bookings we wanted anyway. The buffet was also great for breakfast and lunch, as it was never chaotic and featured lovely outdoor seating views. The pool areas and bars also great with fantastic selection of cocktails and draft beer. The adults only pool section was especially nice, with continuous drinks service at the sunbed. We also took a day trip out to Corfu Town! The reception desk booked our taxi for us which was cheaper than what the Uber app was quoting. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Nice and clean hotel, however the food is lacking for a 5* resort and is reflected in my overall 3*rating. The Buffet food was barely warm, lacked greek dishes and tables were tightly packed in. We stayed in a preferred club room and appreciated the separate lounge for breakfast, we booked through TUI which informs also breakfast at one of the a la carte restaurants when booked via the hotel app. This was not an option during our stay. There were only two a la carte options open in the evening during our stay, we enjoyed our meal, service and setting in the Seaside Grill. Reservations for these are only by app in the evening and places go quickly. Two a la carte options also available during lunch, without reservation. The Italian was our favourite at the lagoon pool. We experienced lots of families with under 5s which the hotel clearly caters well for (something that was not clear to us before booking). All spaces are family friendly although during our stay there were some spaces less frequented by families namely the lagoon pool (which also has a small adults only pool). Drinks service around all pools were good, and we only saw a queue at the lobby bar. The app (which you download on arrival) states the hotel is 100% smoke free, this is not the case with smoking happening in all public areas, outside restaurant seating and the preferred lounge, the hotel also has ashtrays around the main restaurants contradicting the detail within the app. The resort is set into a hill, with short sharp inclines and steps, however also has wide pathways and staff also happy to take you around in golf buggies. It has a fabulous view of the bay and is an easy 20 minute taxi to Corfu town. We had a small issue with our room that was unresolved but other than that the staff were really friendly and provided good service.

We stayed at Dreams Corfu Resort & sadly this is not a hotel we would return to or recommend. We booked a bungalow with Preferred Club access, however we really didn’t feel there was much benefit or difference that justified paying the extra cost. The first two days of our stay, our room was not cleaned at all until we eventually had to call reception and ask for it to be done. This was especially frustrating as we were travelling with our 7-month-old baby and expected a much higher standard of service from a resort of this level. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was for the à la carte restaurants, but unfortunately getting a reservation was almost impossible. Guests are expected to use an app to make bookings, but the app simply does not work properly and we heard many other guests complaining about the same issue. We were told reservations could only be made on the day, so because we have a young baby and were awake throughout the night anyway, we tried booking at 1am, 3am and 6am — every time there was zero availability. What made this even more frustrating was walking past the restaurants in the evening and seeing them mostly empty. Staff were also unwilling to help with bookings, leaving us stuck eating in the buffet restaurant most nights. To make matters worse, on our second to last evening my husband suffered food poisoning after eating from the buffet and sadly spent his entire final day in bed. The hotel itself and the location are absolutely stunning, which makes this even more disappointing. There is definitely potential for this resort to be amazing, but unfortunately the poor organisation, lack of customer service and dining issues completely let the experience down.

All round a very good hotel, but it falls short of a true 5-star experience. We had a great time, but most of the issues came down to understaffing and the lack of adults-only areas. The Resort: Decent-sized resort where everything is just a few minutes’ walk away. The lagoon and adults-only pools were freezing during our visit, so they were mostly empty (and also looked a little dated compared to the other pools). Thankfully, the preferred club and seaside pools were heated. The preferred club pool was quiet and we never struggled to get a bed, so it was worth it for us. The seaside pool was a bit more chaotic with kids playing. Room: We had the bungalow with sea view and couldn’t have been happier with it. Perfect size, lovely patio, and fantastic housekeeping. Food: Only two à la carte restaurants were open in the evening, which really isn’t good enough for a resort of this standard. Overall, the restaurants were decent, but the Greek restaurant was okay at best. If you’re looking for great Greek food, you’re better off going into Gouvia. The booking system (and the app in general) was atrocious - it almost felt purposely designed to be difficult, likely because they don’t have the capacity to cater to everyone. The buffet was just okay on our first night, but improved each day. By the end of the trip, we were genuinely impressed by the food there. As other reviews mention, though, it could often feel like entering a chaotic crèche because of the number of babies and young children screaming. There’s not much the hotel can do about that, apart from perhaps offering an adults-only seating section in the buffet area. Drinks: Preferred club was worth it if you’re a drinker. Being able to grab your own drinks from the lounge definitely made a difference, even if the lounge itself felt a little sterile. Many of the bars outside the lobby bar closed around 6pm, which is far too early. As a result, most people ended up sitting in the lobby for the evening, which wasn’t the most atmospheric setup. Entertainment: Very basic overall. Mostly background music up at the veranda. The theatre karaoke and Greek dancing nights were good, but they struggled to keep a crowd, which made things feel a bit awkward at times. Staff: Easily the best part of the resort. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, especially considering how clearly overworked and stretched thin the staff seemed throughout our stay. All in all, we had a great time, but the luxury sheen of the welcome we received on arrival wore off as the week went on, revealing more of a 4.5-star experience than a true 5-star one.

Not a 5 star experince - Be careful when booking this hotel we didnt realise that most of the facilities were working, at best, to 50% active - Only later did we find out that we had booked the 2nd week of there new season so must have been still in "wake up / recruitment mode." It's funny the price nor hotel description reflected this, we expected a Dreams Crofu and spa resort not at best a 3 star half functioning hotel. We arrived late and were welcomed very friendly by the reception team, as we missed the evening meal they added a late buffet which was a nice touch. Unfortunately thinks went down hill from there very quickly. Our room was more of a mile away ocean over there type view, nice but hardly sea view room. Our middle to left side view was of the staff quarters/ housing block with washing drying and the team relaxing and smoking most days/nights. The other side was a partial sea view but not as described or as we request a sea view room. Day 1 early gym session to set us up for the day - Gym was in darkness @ 7am I tried in vain to find lights or someone to help so I and another guest carried on regardless using phone torches and making the best of a bad job. (Probably not health and saftey recommended but we booked to use a tge gym) Next day similar but this time another guest really went to town on the hotel staff and things were put right from there. Pools and water attractions. The only heated pool was packed with screaming children and, i assume the adults who all appered to be smoking and vaping everywhere! I'm not sure how this can be considered as 100% no smoking as per policy, this was advertised in all the material and still states this in the Dreams Corfu app. Also not sure how smoking is permitted around children and all the pools? Maybe in designated areas but lying in your sun bed in the middle of a pool area doesn't scream Luxury resort to me. We didnt/couldnt stay at this pool location so ventured back (a fair trek) up to the the other pool area. The only time we ventured back was on a rain day when everyone stayed inside the hotel and we had a fully heated pool to our selves for hours. As for the other pool area to say these were not heated is an understatement, more like very cold to freezing, and at one point I thought the bar and customer area was still closed? Overall and for the full week this pool area i think called the lagoon was very understaffed, so much for the poolside bar service. On average it was an hour between asking receiving and been asked again. The mermaid swim up pool bar, again highlighted as a special added feature of the resort, was closed all week maybe it was so old in the pool it just couldn't be used? This agajn was a fairly consitent theme of our stay with many of the higlighted added features either working to 50% strength or just closded off. Key items included all the advertised water experinces, boat rides and attractions. I do understand we were early jn the season but as I stated this was not mentioned nor reflected in the price or the descriptions hence why we booked. This was our first time in Corfu and based our experince with Dreams corfu resort and spa, unfotruenatly may be our last. Considering i must have been a regular annoyance in reception and I don't feel like I should really spend my holiday complaining and asking why is this not working, who is smoking in the restaurant etc. things were never really taken seriously all very pleasant but no follow up. Overall not a very great experince and definately not a Dream holiday resort. Thats without evening mentioning the token gesture on site restaurants or the terrible Greek (Yaiyai Greek restaurant.) Do yourself a favour and stay clear of this place there are loads of other hotels on the island.
