Me and my partner have just got back from staying here for the past week. I’d like to start by making it clear this hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The food is below average, and very limited on choices. There was a particular member of staff in the restaurant a lady who makes it clear she doesn’t like the English I witnessed her talking about a guest to her colleague and was sticking her fingers up about this guest, which I found absolutely disgusting. There’s a young girl who works on reception who was always rude and blunt, one day she tried to charge us for the hotel mini bus to the drop off at Mythos restaurant even though the mini bus is free through the hotel at set times! Which we had to state to her which then she still continued to argue it with us until we pointed out the hotels bus times which were on a board behind her then she came across like she didn’t realise. The day we were leaving the hotel we got charged 10 euros just to get hotel mini bus down the bottom of the hill to be able to get our transport to the airport which we had paid for in our package! The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so you are limited on being able to go to a shop and get essentials etc, so the hotel does provide a small shop but the shop doesn’t open until 10am and the bar doesn’t open until 11am, and this meant we couldn’t get any drinks from bottle of water or any form of soft drink until this time not even coffee or tea which we found frustrating as it meant we had to stock up from the shop the night before. On the plus side for an all inclusive the alcoholic drinks were good and the rooms were always cleaned very good each day. There is a really lovely man whio works in the bar, he’s always smiling and very welcoming. The Mountain View’s are stunning

We were looking for a quiet fuss-free family holiday in Crete and this is exactly what we found. Everyone at Filion Suites was warm and welcoming. They were friendly and helpful and made sure our stay was exceptional. The rooms are cleaned daily, spacious and look out over the olive trees. There are 3 pools and they are never too busy. There are plenty of sun-beds, and everyone in the pool bar is friendly and quick to serve. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are server in the main restaurant and the food is very good, and there was always something we liked. Although all the staff cleaners waiters and barmen were excellent, we wanted to highlight Regina on reception who greeted us with a smile and addressed all our questions with a typical warm Greek hospitality.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel! We booked all inclusive – and it was amazing: breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were varied and delicious, always fresh. The bar with drinks was available for free during the day, which was very convenient. The hotel is located in the mountains – the views are incredible and the air is fresh. There was a free shuttle to the beach, only about 7 minutes away, which was no problem at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel grounds were well-maintained and green. The atmosphere is cozy, a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The buffet offered a wide variety of fresh and tasty food every day, and the desserts were amazing. There were plenty of sun loungers by the pool, so relaxing was never a problem. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The drink bar was great too – a good range of cocktails including classics like Mojito, Piña Colada, and Whiskey Sour. The bartenders made the experience even better with their great energy and conversation. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

We stayed at Bali Paradise Hotel and had an amazing experience! Everything was perfect — beautiful place, great atmosphere, and very kind staff. At first, we were given a room on the ground floor that felt a bit closed in, but when we asked to change, they kindly accepted and gave us another one — we really appreciated their flexibility. A special thank you to Rameiro, who was absolutely incredible with us — always smiling, helpful, and making sure we had everything we needed. The only small downside was the noise coming from the bar area around 1 a.m. If there were a rule to keep things quiet after midnight, it would make the stay absolutely perfect. We’ll definitely come back one day and choose Bali Paradise again. Highly recommend this hotel!

Very loud disco music usually accompanied by a voice screaming something "entertaining" all the time makes it impossible to sleep before 11pm. This is probably the reason why I'll never stay in this hotel again. The food is ok, but not extraordinary. GSM signal is weak in the area and hotel WiFi is slow (15mbit) however stable. The beach 300m down the hill is small. The sunbeds cover every square meter of the beach, so you won't see the sand until you actually stand on it. It is not overcrowded, but it feels like a furniture store. There is 30m strip of the sunbeds owned by the hotel so you don't need to pay 15€ for the sunbed. The hotel has 2 small swimming pools, closing at 6pm. Why? You can play disco until 11pm, but close the swimming pools at 6? The outside tennis court, ping pong and gym area is mostly useless during the summer due to the hot weather. The price-performance ratio could definitely be better. I think we could have chosen a better place to stay for the price.

We liked the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the grounds are well-maintained, and the staff is polite. Upon check-out, wristbands are not removed, so you can still enjoy meals and the bar. There is also a shower and a luggage storage room. The hotel has a small water park for children aged 6 and up (minimum height 120 cm). There were enough sun loungers on the beach. There’s also a kids’ room for younger children — my daughter enjoyed going there to draw. On my birthday, there was no attention at all — no card, no small gift. The birthday package must be ordered in advance online or at the reception, but this was not mentioned at check-in, even though my birth date was clearly visible in the passport. The process of ordering the package felt inconvenient. Overall, it’s a good hotel for a family vacation, but service for special occasions could be improved.

I stayed at this hotel in May 2025 with my family and had a very pleasant experience overall. Highlights: Cleanliness: The entire property was spotless: lobby, swimming pools, rooms. Friendly staff: The team was welcoming, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Renovated rooms: Some rooms have been recently renovated, with a fresh and modern touch. Terrace and lawn access: One of the best features was the easy access from the room to a terrace and green lawn – perfect for relaxing outdoors. Kids club: Very engaging for my 4 y.o. daughter. Bar: Nice selection of drinks. Downsides: Poor sound insulation: The soundproofing in the connecting rooms was not great – I could hear my neighbor snoring through the door. Cold pool: The swimming pool was quite cold, which made it less enjoyable, especially for younger children. Pool slide access: The water slides are only available for children aged 6 and up. Although this is mentioned on the hotel’s website, I missed this detail when booking through a third-party platform, which was quite disappointing for my daughter. Limited fresh fruit variety: The buffet food was good overall, but the variety of fresh fruit at meals was quite limited. We would have enjoyed less cakes and more fresh fruits. Overall, despite a few small drawbacks, we had a very good stay!

Food was nothing special – repetitive and without much creativity. Definitely don’t come here if you expect any kind of culinary experience. It’s warm, colorful, and there’s plenty of it, but that’s about it. With kids it’s not really a win either – the hotel doesn’t seem to count on families too much. We stayed in September and there were no animations or even basic kids’ facilities. The walk to the sea is quite far and crossing the main road from Heraklion with a stroller felt a bit like an adrenaline sport. The shuttle bus to the beach is fine, but you’re tied to fixed times (10:00, 12:30, 15:00). The beach in Gouves is great when the wind calms down, but after a windy day it was full of seaweed and the waves were rough (end of September). Walks around the hotel are basically impossible – best to rent a car and head somewhere else. For example, Stalis beach is fantastic with kids. On the positive side, the hotel staff were all really kind and friendly. But overall – we probably wouldn’t come back.

I stayed at this hotel, and I must say — it was absolutely wonderful! Despite its rating, the quality of service and experience exceeded all expectations. The food was delicious every single day, and the rooms were always clean and well-maintained. The pools were spotless, and even the outdoor tiles were washed daily — a small detail that really shows their commitment to cleanliness. But what truly made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, always smiling and ready to help. Special thanks go to a man named Dali — the heart and soul of the evening entertainment. Every night, he hosted Showtime — whether it was a quiz, dance party, or karaoke, he brought great energy and fun to the event. What’s even more impressive is that he speaks (if I’m not mistaken) five languages — definitely French, Greek, English, and German — so conversations flow easily no matter where you’re from. He clearly gives his all to make sure guests are enjoying themselves, and his positive energy is contagious. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, clean, and fun place to stay. Don’t let the 3 stars fool you — this place shines bright!

We had wonderful holiday in Stella Village. Hotel provides various activities and facilities suit all age guests. The food is not expensive ingredients but tasty. Broth soup is special provided for lunch and dinner. The highlight is delicious cocktails. It is made like normal bar. Not like other all-inclusive hotel fast cocktails. Even staying 3 nights, I still can't taste all cocktails, need to come back again to taste all. Hotel location next ocean is good, I'm fascinated and passionate by capturing Photo of the light change during sunrise and sunset moments. Overall we enjoyed a lot in Stella Village.

Perfect place to relax, especially for families with children. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. The food is very delicious and tasty, there is a large selection. Every evening interesting performances await guests in the amphitheater. The staff is very kind and helpful. The waterpark is large and recommended for children of all ages. The sea is about 50 meters from the entrance to the hotel, sandy beach, free umbrella and sunbed. I highly recommend it to everyone!

We spent a fantastic week at Stella Village with our three children and are absolutely delighted. It was one of our best family holidays! The hotel is beautiful, the Aqua Park provided all-day entertainment for the kids, and the food was consistently delicious and varied, with plenty of choices for everyone. Walks through the wonderful, well-kept garden were a pure pleasure. However, the greatest treasure of this place is the people. It's the staff that makes a stay here unforgettable. Every employee, without exception, is the epitome of professionalism, diligence, and extraordinary kindness. From the always-smiling ladies at the reception, through the restaurant staff who took care of every detail, to the sensational animation team with their endless energy and great approach to children. In every interaction, we felt treated exceptionally and with genuine warmth. It is this amazing atmosphere, created by wonderful people, that makes us want to come back. The Best Hotel Experience I’ve Ever Had This was, without a doubt, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Everything about our experience was outstanding. The food was absolutely incredible – top-quality, diverse, and available at all times. Whether it was the main dining hall or the hotel’s restaurants, the selection was endless and catered to every taste and preference. The cleanliness was impeccable. Every corner of the hotel was spotless, constantly maintained to the highest standards. The facilities were simply amazing. Multiple pools for all ages, an enormous water park, and countless activities made it perfect for families and kids – but also relaxing for adults. What truly set this hotel apart was the level of service. The staff was kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcome and cared for. The hotel itself is fine, the rooms is good and gets cleaned each day. I also find the staff to be helpful and kind, and the food is not terrible. Also the aqua park is cool. But as I'm laying here at 21:05, and my hotel room is literally shaking from the sound of their ''entertainment'' which tonight is bingo night, they are screaming numbers and repeating them in German & French. Before that it was mini disco, which blasts baby shark at you, with full force. Which I am all for, but right next to your hotel room? I booked the stay with 3 small kids, all of whom are not able to sleep (and neither are we) due to placing us directly next to their nightly entertainment area. Which also seems to be where all the other ''family'' rooms are located. I get the entertainment part but I really don't get that the resort is pretty big, but they put us / families right next to this incredibly loud show, that runs each evening until past 22? As a family with small children, we get very little rest as it is, but even less at this resort. I dream myself back home to a quiet normal night, where the only loud noise is my kids screaming and crying, but in all honesty its more pleasurable than this. EDIT: After asking to change rooms, they gladly helped and we switched rooms, which we are super happy for. They also mentioned that nobody else in the same area complains about the noise, so it's not something they are aware off. I've changed my review from 2 stars to 5 as we are overall happy with the place.

The food is excellent and the selection is amazing! The area can be a bit windy since it’s up north, but there are plenty of other attractions to enjoy – lots of pools, fun water slides, kids’ corners, playgrounds, and more. The whole resort is quite spacious and access to everything is included in the price, even the sunbeds on the beach. It’s truly a paradise for children. Snacks outside of breakfast, lunch, and dinner are fantastic as well. You can choose from fresh vegetables, fruit salads, or classics like pizza and toasties – even vegetarians will be happy. The alcohol is not cheap quality either; they serve well-known brands like Havana Club and Beefeater. And at the bar, they’ll make you a real coffee, not just one from a machine.

Not a Relaxing Stay – Needs Serious Improvement We stayed at the hotel with our extended family – adults and kids – during the summer. From the moment we arrived, the service was lacking. No welcome, no guidance to rooms, and the lobby was extremely hot with no drinks offered. Rooms were spacious but had weak air conditioning and ant problems in several of them. Beds were very basic and uncomfortable. Despite being told we’d get bottled water daily, we didn’t receive any unless we asked. The dining room was overcrowded and hot, with no air conditioning. Food was okay – better for kids than adults. The evening shows were unimpressive, and the Greek restaurant had a nice view but isn’t suitable for families with small children. Although the water slides were fun, there's no shade on the way up, making the ground too hot to walk on without shoes. The music around the pool was extremely loud all day, even in the rooms – not ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. Service overall was poor, and I even witnessed a staff member yelling at a guest over a simple food request. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone looking for a calm or high-quality all-inclusive experience.

Great hotel for family vacation. Plenty of offers for children (pools, kids club, playgrounds). Mini Disxo for children on 6 of 7 days. 3 different restaurants (2 with breakfast and lunch) with all inclusive. Also 3 different pool bars included with drinks and some snacks. The Water Park is right next door and has multiple pools for all ages. Some slides for and access to sunbeds in the park and on the beach are also included. The staff is very friendly, especially towards children. The hotel is a great destination for vacation with kids!

The hotel itself is good for children, there is everything for them, including attractions and activities all day long. Regarding the level of cleanliness in the rooms and the hotel itself, it is very low and needs immediate improvement. The service itself is very low and slow in terms of initial response and also doing you a favor when you come. I also didn't like that they didn't take our luggage to the rooms. Even when we asked, no one from the staff bothered to come and take our luggage both at check-in and check-out. So please improve what I told you.

Beautiful hotel with accommodating staff, pools are excellent and food is good with lots of choices. It’s very typically what you would expect from an all inclusive. It was situated in lovely location, loads of shops . I had a lovely stay .

It is the people that make the place lovely. Although the rooms could use some maintenance, the employees are very friendly and open to the guests so you feel very welcome. The food is good and we didn't need to reservate the Italian and Burger Restaurant long before. In the Minoan Restaurant all the meals are buffet. The only anoying thing is made by the guests by the usual towel blocking from chairs at the pool. We still could come at 10am and had a choice where to lay down. It totally didn't make any sense. Although the entrance in the sea is small and steep, the seawater was very clear and a little bit out, there is the home of a big turtle that lives there. This hotel is at least in Cretean Style instead of concrete modern style.

Don’t bother upgrading your room to the most expensive spec. Payed an extra £360 and wasn’t even better than a standard room which other family members were staying in. We did ask at reception but they told us we can’t move rooms as hotel was full. I would also would like to say how miserable the older chap at the beach bar was and this was mentioned by everyone we spoke to on holiday. We have payed for all inclusive and at times would only let you take1 drink max. I was asking for 2 orange juice one for my partner and one for me and was told I was only allowed one but served the person after me 2 drinks. Hotel location was good and had everything you needed near by. Overall with the rooms, food and some staff I won’t be coming back to the hotel as I had a poor overall experience.

The hotel itself is 4 star. The rooms are not. They are clean, but not what you'd expect from a 4 star. I've stayed in 3 star rooms that are far superior in other hotels. But that is my only gripe. The 2 pools are great and clean. Plenty of sun loungers. And when they fill up, they'll bring more out. Food is incredible! A large selection that'll cater for everyone at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel backs onto a lovely, but rocky beach. Buy a snorkel mask, get into the sea and see all the marine life swimming with you. If you're lucky, you'll see a turtle swimming with you like I did..

Staff are 100% focused on providing a good holiday experience. All inclusive buffet is very good with a nice variety each day. Room are clean and tidy with plenty of space for 2. We had room 448 which was in an excellent location with a main pool view and a distant sea view. My only problem was the entertainment team have a very poor karaoke microphone, Everybody sounded muffled which put people off having a go. This is a very easy fix, so Silva Beach Entertainment team - sort it and improve your guest experience. I would recommend the Silva Beach Hotel for an all inclusive Crete vacation 👏👏👏

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at this hotel. We would definitely recommend it others and return ourselves. The entertainment was great and all the entertainment team worked really hard. My daughter loved the kids club and mini disco in the evening. The girls in the kids club were really professional and I always felt happy leaving my daughter in their care. My daughter Juniper especially loved CECILE she was so sweet and friendly and was fantastic with the children. My daughter was really sad to say goodbye to her at the end of our holiday. The kids loved the mini disco and I'm sure we'll be singing the songs and doing the dances for months to come. We shows we watched were very entertaining and professional. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Our room was a bungalow room and we found this modern and well equipped. We really liked the pool near our room with the swim up bar. The pools were a bit chilly but that's to be expected in September. It would of been nice if the indoor pool had of been heated as the pools were too cold for my baby. We spent many days on the beach and it was great to have your own private area. We did have to get there early to get a sunbed on nice days. It was a bit windy on our last days so we couldn't go on the beach but enjoyed the pools instead. It would be nice if their was a bar on the beach to get drinks from. The food at the hotel is amazing and always so much variety. We enjoyed all our meals and especially liked the pasta station in the evening. We visited the Isla restaurant one night which included in our all inclusive package. This restaurant is beautiful and has fantastic views but sadly we were disappointed with the food and much preferred the restaurant in Marina Beach. We would definitely return to this hotel if we come to Crete again. All the staff were so friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were there with our 6 months old and everything was perfect. There was an option to get baby food in the restaurant. They cater for gluten intolerants as well. The allergens are showed adequately and maitre'd was very accommodating and took great lengths to provide gluten free food. Gluten free bread was provided, there were sweets and treats too. There was one time when the bread was in the same container as the meet skewers, but after I told them that that is not gluten free anymore, they removed the sign. Unfortunately too late, my wife already ate a slice of pita and she got sick in the night. The room is nice. The pools are also good, our 6 month old enjoyed the baby pool. The hotel also has it's own beach. The gym is smaller than what I expected based on the photos. I think that is the disadvantage of fish-eye optics :)

We had the best family holiday at the Sol Marina Beach in August. It was our first time in Crete and we loved this hotel - food was great, drinks well made and staff were amazing. We spent the mornings on the hotel’s part of the beach, snorkelling and relaxing, Gyros from the hotel snack bar taken down to the beach for lunch and then the afternoons at one of the pools. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough.

Stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. Staff were nice and the hotel overall is nice also, there's a lot of space to relax and sunbathe. Cleaning service is excellent. Hotel is in a very peaceful location but own car is recommended if you are looking forward to stay in this location, its far away form everything. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for family people with little children that needs baby-pram. However, i wouldn't rate it as a 5 star hotel and I am not convinced its a 5 star hotel anyway. We arrived to the hotel at 2am at night, we weren't offered any snacks. Room's ventilation was very smelly, room was decent but shower had cold water most of the evenings we stayed there, and finally when we requested to check on it, it wasn't fixed. Alcoholic drinks didn't taste nice, not for a 5 star hotel as it's said. Food was decent, loved the desserts but food options were limited. Hotel has a private beach and a free shuttle but its a rocky beach and most of the sunbeds were broken. The beach bar is not free FYI.

For the price that we payed, we were extremely happy with our stay at this resort. I would give it 5 stars in relation to the price Personally, I found the food generally good- there were a few options to choose from at breakfast lunch and dinner, and the food at the snack bar really hit the spot. Some of the reviews say that the food was cold. This was only if a tray of food was nearly finished, and we were glad to see that they continued to refresh the food all the way until the end of the set meal times. They also had options like spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread for people who aren’t as keen to explore local cuisine. There are multiple pools to choose from with ample sunbed and shade options. The pools were a good place to cool off in the hot weather. Generally the resort had a relaxed atmosphere, with a few themed night with entertainment at the bar. It is a bit out of the way of the local town and beaches, but this adds to the calmer atmosphere, and the town is walkable within around 30 minutes. The customer service at reception was efficient, and the hotel were even kind enough to stay up for our very delayed arrival in the early hours of the morning. If you are looking for a very luxurious 5-star resort, then I would consider looking at hotels at a higher price point (you get what you pay for after all). However if you are looking for a relaxed and comfortable retreat by yourself or with friends and family without breaking the bank, then I think this is a lovely option!

Driving back to the airport now after 10 incredible nights at Rimondi. This hotel is everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable holiday. Never had an issue with food, there’s something for everyone. The staff are polite, helpful and endearing. Some even remembered us from last year which was nice. The whole hotel is impeccably clean and so was both restaurants. Overall the value for money is amazing, we loved staying here 2 years in a row. Definitely hire a car from the airport it allows freedom to come and go as you please 🙏🏻

Had a lovely holiday here with my wife and 2 kids (10 and 13). The staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. The 3 hotel swimming pools were perfect. Great atmosphere for families and those enjoying a break from it all. The nearby town is beautiful with lots to explore and good shopping. The all inclusive food was delicious, the drinks were good but then I don't drink much so not an expert. The family hotel room we had was fine but not 5 star. Overall it was amazing value and just what we wanted. I would go again.

We’ve just come back from a stay at Rimondi Grand Resort & Spa, and while there are definitely some highlights, there are also a few things you should know before booking. On the plus side, there’s loads of space to relax during the day, with plenty of sun loungers and access to four different pools. The setting is lovely, with great views, and the regular shuttle buses to both the beach and the old town make getting around easier (though more on that later). The all-inclusive food and drink selection is decent, and Villani restaurant was our favourite spot — you can help yourself to snacks and drinks there all day. Now for the downsides. The shuttle buses are pricey (9€ single / 11€ return) unless you’re heading to the beach, which is free. Even then, the town shuttle only has eight seats, so you’ve got to book well in advance or risk having to take a taxi back. The hotel feels very isolated, so you’re almost forced into town if you want entertainment — because honestly, there’s barely any on site. Food-wise, you won’t starve, but it’s not great. If you’re a fussy eater, you might struggle. The all-inclusive drinks were probably the biggest letdown — very weak, both in taste and alcohol content. And while the all-inclusive supposedly ends at 10:50pm, the bar staff seemed to make it up as they went along. One night we were still being served all-inclusive drinks well past midnight, while another night we were cut off right on the dot. I even have a bank statement showing I paid for shots (which aren’t included in the package) at just gone midnight, while still being given all-inclusive drinks at the same time. The inconsistency was frustrating. Another tip: don’t book excursions through the hotel. We enquired about a trip, then later found the exact same one in the old town for 80€ cheaper. The lady selling excursions at the hotel was also incredibly rude, and at one point when we popped into the jewellery shop, I asked about necklaces and was met with a dismissive look up and down, as if we didn’t belong there. Not a great feeling. Overall, Rimondi has its perks — nice pools, plenty of space, and beautiful views — but between the weak drinks, limited entertainment, and overpriced extras, it left us feeling like it could have been much better. If you’re after a chilled poolside holiday and plan to sort out your own nights out and excursions, it might work for you. If not, you may want to look elsewhere.

We had a wonderful stay at Mitsis Royal Mare! Check-in was smooth and the staff made us feel truly welcome, even surprising us with a birthday cake and wine. The room was always clean and comfortable. Anna at Alegria was amazing always smiling and even teaching us a few Greek words. Costa at the beach was fantastic, always there to help with a big smile, and Maria at the Delfina pool bar made every visit a joy with her warmth and friendliness. Staff at the beach bar were equally welcoming. The main restaurant accommodated us perfectly, and while some dishes at Royal Palm were a bit hit or miss, overall the à la carte dining was very enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!

Exceptional hotel and staff in the main were excellent. Had a small issue with our room but was fixed quickly without asking. That’s a first! Well done to the team. Beds were very comfortable and we had a fan in the room as well as the air conditioning. Much better to have the fan on at night as it doesn’t create that dry humidity that an aircon does. Couple of improvements that could be made are, Toilets use an extremely large amount of water, not sure if that’s the design or not. A welcome drink explaining all the areas of the hotel would be a good touch, how to book restaurant etc. Have to say that the food was exceptional. Well done to the Mitsis team

Myself and my Husband had the most amazing time at Mitsis Royal Mare. On arriving late at night we were taken to our room to drop off the cases, then we went for a nightcap which was needed. In the morning we had to meet with the guest relations, due to my auto immune disease I can honestly say I was totally looked after at all meal times by the most caring and kind staff at all the restaurants and morning brunch. Afrodite was amazing she was kind caring and made our stay so relaxed and I didn’t have to worry about anything at meal times. Also the lovely Lenin was perfect in serving us at meals, Muhammad he was fantastic too. All the restaurant staff are a credit to the hotel. And we ate the most delicious food. The hotel is made from the kindest of all the restaurant staff. The only fault we had was the bed was comfortable but a bit small for us as used to super king size. 5 stars for Afrodite Linir Mohamed and the lovely lady from the Cosmos restaurant and she also served us at the top bar after she finished there., you all made a perfect stay for us. We had a wonderful all inclusive stay at the Mitsis royal Mare. The staff are extremely hard working, friendly and attentive, they really go out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time. The main restaurant has loads of options, all the food was delicious and fresh. We also really enjoyed the a la carte restaurants with our favourite being the Asian and the Italian. The cocktail menu is amazing , especially enjoyable in the rooftop bar. Two big pools to relax at during the day, with evening entertainment by the pool as well. The hotel has its own private beach, lovely clear water, be sure to pack aqua shoes as little rocky. There’s a beachside bar in too so you can enjoy refreshments at the beach. Overall we had a brilliant stay and we would definitely recommend.

The staff is friendly and helpful, they take time of their schedules to talk to you, ask about our holiday, the women working at the restaurant were so sweet and nice we literally wanted to hug them. The food is very good, the drinks are delicious, the service is amazing. First week of September the weather was very nice too and the hotel was not too crowded. The vibe is amazing, the attention to the customer is amazing too. We will be coming back ❤️

We have got amazing new apartments with sea view. We're there with my family and the main point was to rest. Definitely enjoy my time there. We have got the all inclusive I must say the was limited however the food was really good. The animation wasn't the greatest but still fine. Overall I would recommend this hotel to families and couples definitely not a hotel for single people which looking for entertainment.

My family and I (17 of us) stayed here from 16th -23rd august and we had the most amazing holiday. We were initially quite nervous to stay after reading some of the reviews, but we had a wonderful stay. All the staff, particular the hotel mangers, reception and bar staff were all so polite and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Especially Paul and nick who were a pleasure to meet and made our family holiday so special. During our stay we had 3 birthdays and a 40th wedding anniversary and the hotel decorated our rooms and allowed us to go in the church on site so that we could celebrate the wedding anniversary. They ensured that we all had a fab time during our celebrations. The hotel is built on a hill which is fairly steep which can be difficult, but the hotel offers 24 hour transport to help you get around the hotel if needed. Being in the hills gives you amazing views of elounda. We were fortunate to see beautiful sunrises every morning from our apartment balacony and have stunning sea views. The hotel is very clean and the cleaning staff work so hard thoroughly cleaning the pools every morning. Our rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed between daily or every other day. The beach and town is a 20min walk away, there is a free shuttle bus but the walk was lovely. Its a lovely walk around the town & marina to get to a sandy beach with a park and lots of shops & restaurants. We found there to be a good selection of food at all meal times and we all and the children always enjoyed what we ate. The waiting staff always ensured the tables were cleaned and ready. We asked to get a table all sat together at the restaurant for one of the birthdays and asked if we could pay for a cake. The restaurant manger ensured this happened and helped make the birthday so special. I can’t thank the staff enough for all they did and we had the best time because of them.

Had a lovely holiday here, there was a small error on arrival where they didn't seem to have the correct details of our party arriving and had mixed my husbands name up with a completely different family altogether. This somehow lead to us being checked into the wrong room and being told we had to move after unpacking and settling in however this was rectified relatively quickly albeit beginning to delay sinking into holiday relaxation as promptly as we would of liked. The resort was nice, a little attitude adjustment required by some of the staff and advertising things not available might need correcting (steam room full of mops and cleaning equipment). Otherwise we quite enjoyed our holiday. Restaurant staff certainly made up for a positive hospitality attitude in comparison to some other hotel departments.

This year marks the 3rd time we came to Elounda residence. Year after year the wonderful people at the hotel make you feel like you're coming home. We got one of the new rooms and it was really nice, it was close to the restaurant/pool and had a beautiful view of the sea. Getting to the restaurant is just a short walk what makes for a pleasant morning stretch. The all-in formula offers a big variety of different food and drinks, the soda isn't the best but i don't drink it so i don't mind. Going to the sea is a downhill walk on a road that runs through an olive field, i love it (their can be some garbage by the roadside but that's not the hotels fault). Going back to the hotel is a bit more exhausting but what do you expect from a hotel on a hill. I like the physical exercise to let the amazing food you can eat all over town get processed. If you like a good view, good food and nice people i would definitely recommend this place!

This was our second time visiting Evita Resort, and once again it was absolutely amazing! The food was fantastic with so much choice, the service was excellent, and everything about the resort makes for a perfect holiday. What really made our stay unforgettable was the entertainment crew – especially Sam. His energy, friendliness, and the way he gets everyone involved made such a difference. He truly went above and beyond to make our holiday special, and it wouldn’t have been the same without him. Evita Resort never disappoints, and we’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, great service, and an all-round brilliant experience!

There was an issue with the air conditioning however they resolved this and in the showers there was nowhere to put products like a shelf which really annoys me as it’s a very basic thing , also the shower head holder did that droopy thing or was tilting right up at the ceiling so you have to get the pressure right to stop this , the staff were very friendly and the room cleaning was superb and a nice touch replenished water in the fridge daily. Although the distance from town was a mile there was a taxi point and we used the electric scooters (hopp) that you download the app and go , the food was adequate not superb but I have had a lot worse , overall I would come back 👍

As a group of 6 that turned up at 8pm on a Saturday night we were told our rooms wasn't ready due to fumes!!! no apology so we was shipped out to different hotels not the best start. Arrived back Sunday morning where reception apologised for the misunderstanding of double booking which they could have just said that Saturday night instead of lying. 3 days in we were in room 516 and the shower door came clean off the rails and smashed everywhere luckily we wasn't hurt just a few grazes husband went to reception who sent him back with an accident form and 2 plasters followed by maintenance men and 2 housekeepers. No shower door for the rest of our stay no apology no check on our welfare nothing from them when I chased this up the next 2 days was just given towels for the floor. I feel the accident form was just for show and lying in a shredder somewhere. Entertainment and bar staff really good and to be honest the best thing about this hotel, housekeeping good and its a clean hotel. Food aways cold in the resturant no matter if you're in early or late not much choice either but could be because we were approaching the end of season, however Snack bar was really good gyros and pizza were lovely. Pool good and always managed to get sunbeds. You get what you pay for I suppose and was realy nice to see the peacocks wandering about too. Wouldn't class this as a 4 star hotel more a 3.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I travel with my family a couple of times a year, but this place was just a nightmare. If you’re reading this – honestly, don’t book it. We had to wait for hours in the heat to check in, didn’t get the room until 6 pm. The room was in bad shape, the food was awful, and the pool… disgusting. There was literally poop floating in the water. Sunbeds around the pool were broken too. Nothing good to say about this hotel. Total waste of money.

I recently stayed at Evita Resort in Faliraki and while the hotel itself had some positives, I was really disappointed with the restaurant. The food in the main restaurant was extremely poor – very little variety and the same options repeated night after night. On top of that, the food often looked unappealing, which made it hard to enjoy. For a hotel advertised as all-inclusive, this was definitely not up to standard, especially considering the price paid. That being said, I have to give credit where it’s due – the men at the snack bar running from 12-4 every day were fantastic. They made the best gyros and pizza I’ve ever had.

I stayed at Blue Bay Resort in Rhodes for 7 days with my partner. The staff were absolutely lovely – very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I had paid for an upgraded room as a surprise for my partner, but unfortunately the room we were initially given was not what I had expected. I was disappointed and heartbroken at first. I’m never one to complain, but I’m so glad I plucked up the courage to speak up – within an hour our room was changed without any fuss, which I really appreciated. The food in the main buffet restaurant was quite basic. It was enjoyable at first, but by the third day we were getting a little tired of it. On the bright side, the snack bar was amazing and became a bit of a lifesaver! The all-inclusive drinks were also fantastic and good value. We dined at the Greek restaurant on site and we were over the moon with the whole experience! Staff were amazing and the food was fantastic! We definitely recommend dining there The shower room definitely leaves a lot to be desired – not the most pleasant to look at – but it did the job for a quick wash. A big plus for us was the coach/bus trip option from the resort, which was perfect and saved us a lot of money on taxis. Overall, Blue Bay Resort has some really good points – especially the staff, snacks and drinks – but there’s room for improvement on the food variety and bathroom facilities.

We met the lifeguard George, who was amazing with our kids — so friendly, attentive, and caring. He really made our days by the pool extra fun and safe. This hotel really positively surprised me. This was the first time I’d done an all inclusive so I was skeptical, however, I really can’t fault the hotel and I had a great week here. The rooms were basic and a little dated, but they were clean and spacious and made up every day. The pool facilities were fantastic - all very clean, showers and toilets were nearby. There is a larger, deeper pool, a shallower pool and then a small children’s room. Ample sun beds at both the pool and on the beach - which you can walk straight on to. The food was the only thing which let the stay down - it wasn’t bad by any means but just not great. However that said, there was a wide variety of options. This isn’t an expensive resort though, so I understand it isn’t going to be luxury dining. The only actual negative was our on-site restaurant meal. We chose Muses and unfortunately, it was pretty dreadful. Would not recommend- the food was more or less the exact same as at the buffet but somehow worse! The entertainment was pretty good too, and varied most nights. Location was great too - easy busy into Rhodes Old Town and plenty of parking (we rented a car). Overall, very good holiday and would definitely return to this hotel.

Great place for all inclusive hotel. Got it's own beach and loungers but you do need swim shoes as stoney to get in and out where waves break. It is windy this side of island but didn't prove a problem but if you are expecting calm seas you'll be disappointed. It is great for bobbing about in. The food is great, beer is good, the cocktails are cheap and nasty as many other hotels have, if you like them you're landed. The room was great in block 4000s, recently refurbished i reckon. 10 mins from airport and on the flight path for incoming aircraft, with 4 or 5 planes an hour, interesting but could be annoying for some, didn't bother us. Regular bus provided (8€ pp return) to Rhodes town just 20 mins away. Biggest criticism is the music in the evenings, you have the entertainment team doing their stuff (we didn't participate), then there is music at back of bar very loud dance music, and the barmen seem to put on rap music at front of bar, so if you sit in certain areas you get all 3. It is like music torture, awful, awful,awful!! Sort it out. The music is also very modern and not specific to clients but what staff want. None of this is aimed at entertainment team music, that seemed to be very much enjoyed outside on stage area, criticising the bar area music, really off putting given the bar and lobby area are full.

What a wonderful hotel. Ok rooms are tired but very clean and the buffet is basic but big enough to find something to eat for everyone but there are plenty of snack bars on site so I would defy anyone to go hungry. On check in you are given a safe key and pool towel card which is a nice touch, beds weren’t a problem for us as you can always find one. What makes this hotel special is the staff, from housekeeping through to reception, they are all truly lovely and helpful and will go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay for which we are truly grateful. If you like the beach it is minutes away, there are sun beds on the grass and by the pool. The staff really fo make a huge effort to be attentive. As a general summary: the beach, location, cleanliness, and staff left a positive impression, but the management of some services needs significant improvement. The amount of stars is given due to price/performance ratio. Positive sides: - hotel is very clean - staff is friendly - new sports equipment in the gym - tennis & paddle courts also provide equipment - good location - direct beach front with own sunbeds Negative sides: - initially given a room without balcony or even windows (first time I encountered this, especially in such level of a hotel). Next day room was exchanged and free 20-min massage session was offered. But honestly, repacking was the last thing you wish after long journey. - room lacks sound isolation (entrance doors are thin and you hear every step from the corridor) - AC in the room needs maintenance & filter cleaning, as it was making strange noises and odors in some modes - island itself is exposed to rotavirus, but this is not properly communicated to the guests upon stay or arrival. As a result during our 10-day stay 2/3 days were ruined due to struggles of this infection. I would highly recommend to management to make clear communication to guests, about this and request them to disinfect hands in common areas (disinfection sprays were available). This virus was admitted by staff only after second infection, which does not allow you to understand the real issue. (we thought it was food poisoning) We were not the only guests, exposed to this virus but no communication was given. During this situation we had to wait once water for 4 hours (as we were told, because mini-bar service was not working yet), so we had to go to restaurant and pick it ourselves being in bad condition. - deserts were overly sweet and many dishes were highly salty or oily

The hotel was an amazing experience! The staff were absolutely wonderful – every single one of them. Special thanks to Anna and Lela at the reception for their warm and welcoming service. The dining room and restaurants were excellent, with the Italian restaurant being a real highlight. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, with drinks provided in the minibar, including Coke Zero and espresso. The cocktails were great, and the water slides added so much fun to our stay. Highly recommended – we truly enjoyed every moment!

I have been in this hotel for the few times, last vacation was 12/9 - 22/9. The rooms are older but nice and clean. The food is amazing. The hotel has amazing staff, my kids loved it because they were so kind to us. Special thanks to Dorjan in the main restaurant who was very polite and hardworking. The beach bar made the best cocktails and the staff were amazing and smiling, even though it was hot and they had a lot of guests. Our kids still remember them, especially Thomas and Sakhs and the others. The pizza on the beach is luxurious and the staff is amazing (George and his colleague). Thank you to Athina Daramara who is always very helpful. In conclusion, I want to say that the hotel needs renovation in some places (beach loungers, umbrellas and pool area), which is already planned, but the staff, beach, sea and food will make up for everything. The only possible negative I see is the distance from the airport. I love this place and will come back again.

Me and my family were due to visit here in August but my husband was unwell so was not fit to fly. On contacting the hotel it was not a problem to postpone until September. I have worked in travel for 17 years and worked for a number of four operators and appreciate that some want a champagne standard for lemonade money. Me my husband and 2 older girls had the best holiday. The food was good the staff were excellent as was the service. The rooms were nice and are not dated. Not sure what it would be like in August I’d imagine very busy, so may have had a different experience with the pool area are but in mid September there were plenty of beds available. The sunbeds do need to be replaced, there is definitely a technique needed. Overall we had a great holiday and would definitely return.

It was a good experience overall, but I don’t think the hotel deserves five stars. My husband and I spent a week there and faced some issues with the staff — some of them were lovely, but others could be quite rude and sarcastic. For example, during lunchtime, we were finishing our meal when a waitress came over and said loudly, “The restaurant is closed.” We understood and started to finish our dessert quickly. A few minutes later, another waitress came and, again loudly, said, “The restaurant is closed,” and began to take the dishes from our table. I replied, “The waitress already told us,” and she laughed sarcastically. Another situation happened when we went to the restaurant at 2:35 p.m. to have lunch, and the guy at the door said to us, “Look at the time,” implying we were late — even though the closing time is 3:00 p.m. Also, if you’re still eating near closing time, they start turning off the lights, which is really disrespectful. Another issue was that the rooms were not cleaned properly at all. If you like a tidy and clean room as I do, this place is not for you. The bed was made poorly — it looked as if a five-year-old had done it. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly for a week, and the floor was quite dirty. I complained twice, and the housekeeping lead was very polite — she called and emailed to check on us — but nothing actually changed. The staff definitely need training and proper standards to follow. In the end, I ended up tidying and cleaning myself — and when you’re on holiday, the last thing you want to do is worry about making the bed. Also, the dirty glasses and dishes we left were placed by the housekeeper outside our room, and they stayed there for two days — along with dishes from other rooms on the same floor. Apart from that, the food is good and there are lots of options. The beach is very nice, and the service they offer there — such as pizza and drinks — is great. The guy at the gelateria is lovely and very friendly, as well as the staff at the creperia. But definitely, this is not a five-star hotel. :)

The hotel is outstanding, well cared for. The staff are amazing, especially the waiting staff with a friendly and attentive approach. The hotel dining facilities are excellent with beautiful and plentiful of freshly cooked food and fresh produce. And the waiting staff are a credit to the hotel. Great service from the bars with a varied menu of drinks. Our room was cleaned daily and the view across the sea was beautiful. Again, great house keeping!!!! Fridge full of drinks, restocked daily, coffee and tea facilities too. The hotel is situated near a shingle beach. Boat trips available. The swimming pool is clean and relaxing to lounge at with plentiful of loungers. There are lots of facilities to use including shops. The only minus for me is the transfer time to and from hotel. If you’re looking for a hotel based holiday then this is it. Excellent 👌

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I felt well taken care of right from the start. The room was beautiful with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very cozy, and I appreciated the attention to detail from the fresh linens to the complimentary toiletries. Housekeeping did a fantastic job each day. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet had a great variety and everything was fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant Asian, Greek, and Mexican food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. Overall quite a good Hotel. Swimming pools were lush clear blue. Food and drink available. Food bit basic so lived of spaghetti colognes most of week. Grab your a la carte Italian meal which was excellent. Mostly skipped breakfast. Adapted for disabled but sometimes long way round the easiest. 20 euro to old town each way a must. New town not much in it to say youre abroad. If disabled get family room as showers good for 2 people. Our travelling companions said there room had a coffin for a shower

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel people need to know what to expect with Hotel Sunshine Rhodes. Greece itself was amazing, but the hotel experience was very disappointing and in no way worthy of the 4 stars it advertises. The buffet food was one of the biggest let-downs. It was repetitive, bland, and very difficult to put together a decent meal. Lunch and dinner were practically identical, and bizarrely, breakfast included things like sweetcorn and onion rings. Nothing had much flavour, and overall the dining experience felt like a chore rather than something to enjoy. The rooms were dated and poorly maintained. The hairdryer was next to useless, and housekeeping seemed inconsistent at best. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, as if they hadn’t been replaced in years, with only three old, lumpy pillows between us. Sleep was poor, and the air conditioning left us feeling unwell after using it through the night. The lift is another issue — it’s honestly the size of a small cleaners’ cupboard, making it a nightmare to get between floors, especially if you have luggage. The drinks menu was equally disappointing. Only a handful of cocktails were available, all tasting watered down and very similar to each other. Compared to other all-inclusive hotels we’ve stayed in, the variety and quality was severely lacking. To be fair, the staff were friendly and helpful when booking taxis and arranging little things, but unfortunately, this didn’t make up for the rest. The final straw was checkout day. We had a 9pm flight and were assured we could use the hotel’s facilities to shower before leaving. What we found was one filthy cubicle in an unclean toilet, with no hot water, no soap, and no basic hygiene. This was completely unacceptable and left a terrible final impression. Overall, I’m honestly fascinated that this hotel is still advertised as a 4-star property. With so many far better options in Rhodes, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. Greece is beautiful and worth visiting, but if someone asked me strictly about my hotel experience, this is what I would have to say.

This is most definitely the worst hotel I ever stayed in the food was dreadful The drink selection was also awful no cold water through the day and the main bar opened at 10 so We had to queue for at least 10 minutes to get some ice !!! In the 10 days we stayed there we had one breakfast and a dinner there the rest of the time we dined out !! The first room we were putting in was so dated it had sick all up the wall holes in the bedding and the toilet didn’t work It was absolutely disgusting then got moved to another room which was a very standard but slightly more modern room The only one good thing about this hotel is the cleaners in the room were amazing !!! The pool and the beach was absolutely disgusting in the 10 days of us being there we see the pool being cleaned maybe twice !!! The surrounding area within hotel again was not really nice The only bonus that we as a family thanked our lucky stars was the outside of the hotel bars, restaurants and shops if that wasn’t there I believe we would’ve flown home It was that bad… happy to share just some of the pictures that I took

Decor worn but acceptable. Need to use double sheets on the beds as they only use singles and it's a pain. Rooms and outside are kept very clean though. Staff great, all friendly. Pools are great. Food passable, always hot,so that's a bonus.. A great week was had. Expensive to go into Rhodes town though, 18 Euros each way.

We are a Family of 4 who stayed there for a week in mid August with rooms 453 and 455 This very obviously doesn't deserve a 4 stars rating (which we suspect to be either expired or fraudulently acquired). Upsides are the proximity to the beach & sea, and the pools; also the friendliness of the guest-facing staff and their good level of foreign languages Most other things are downsides; particularly the food which is either bland or plain disgusting even for the greek specialities apart from the fruits (but there are not many to chose from). It's very clear that they put the very cheapest items they could for everything; Including the drinks which are too sweet. For example, we checked a sample of food, and found that some would be illegal to sell in France. Closing hours are too early (pool closing at 18:00, every dinner's plates removed from 21:00, even deserts) The beach and sea never closes but there are also never been a single lifeguard at the beach in the whole week (they are at the pools). Also some sunbeds are broken and never repaired Appliances are old and dated. The bathroom doors, the fridge, and the A/C (at slow speed) can get noisy The neighborhood in itself is quite bad compared to what's in Rhodes; Rhodes city is at ~20m drive The quality of the guests varies. There are a few unmannered and dirty people. Some families so fat we witness for the first time they needed multiple sunbeds for each person There are planes flying above very often. You will hear around a few dozens a day (including night). There are not so inconvenient during the day but during the night, I believe it would be hard to sleep for some I am quite confident they are absolutely aware that most of the guests would never come back but don't care since Sunshine took their money already

Have just come back from a week's holiday. Excellent rooms, food very good quality, pools very nice. Beach feels like part of hotel as so close and some evening entertainment is performed on it. The hotel is a little isolated, but there is a bus stop outside to take you to lindos or further afield.

This hotel is the king of fake reviews. Anyone praising the food here is lying. It’s nothing but slop. The chicken tastes old, the fish stinks. The meat is tough and stale, the potatoes too, everything is badly seasoned and completely careless. The vegetables taste like canned food, the pasta is totally overcooked… Nothing is nicely presented. Every dish is absolutely basic, more boring than what you’d cook at home. If there’s ever something special like tacos, only a tiny amount is made, and only the very first guests at the buffet get any. As another cost-cutting measure, the trays with the slightly better food are often empty and refilled very slowly. Real, fresh food like fresh orange juice is not all inclusive.. I was worried I’d gain weight on vacation, but now I’m not concerned at all. I’m just glad if I can find something I can force down without disgust. And it’s not just me—everywhere people are leaving large amounts of food uneaten because it tastes so bad. You have to find a table yourself, depending on luck and speed. Often you end up searching for quite a while. Some of the staff are unbelievably rude. Once, when we were still sitting at our table just 10 minutes after the end of meal service, they simply cleared away everything left on the table. Today, when I wanted to get a coffee, the same waitress came from the side, shoved her cup under the machine in front of mine, and didn’t even acknowledge me. The free drinks are the cheapest sugar syrup mixes imaginable. The so called wine is mixed in a mashine from concentrate, water and carbon dioxide. The hotel itself is pretty run-down. In our room, the balcony door rattles nonstop in the wind, as if an angry wrestler were trying to break in. The bathroom smells like sewage, there are no shelves in the closet below 6 feet to put things away, and on the balcony there’s no way to hang anything up to dry. In the bathroom, there’s only a bar way up above the toilet. When you shower, the water from the shower/toilet combo runs right out into the room. I don’t know what the cleaning staff actually clean, but the floor is clearly not part of it. The "fresh" towels are damp, I try not to think about it too much. The way to the “restaurant” is very long, since it’s in another building next to the hotel. You have to walk through blazing sun to get there. The room safe costs €3 per day. The tourist tax (€10/day) is only accepted in cash. The only positive aspects: the beds are comfortable, and the beach is great. But the beach also comes with a caveat: several times a day an old guy recklessly shoots through the swimmers and snorkelers with his boat to pick up victims for his boat tour. That's an accident waiting to happen. When I think of the vacation we had last year at the Palladium for the same price, I want to cry! This hotel is an absolute scam!

Filthy - Steer Clear. We stayed for 1 night in August 2024! Do not book if you want an enjoyable holiday! So, it was the first holiday abroad (all-inclusive) for me and my eldest son in 16 years, my younger twos first holiday abroad and my first solo holiday with my children. I wanted it to be special but the start was far from it. We arrived around midnight to be greeted in a clean hotel reception with friendly staff and were shown to our room. The first thing we noticed as we walked through the complex was the awful smell of sewerage and that smell continued into our room. As soon as we turned the lights on we saw the disgusting state of our room (507). The two single bed mattresses were extremely dirty and stained, so much so me and the youngest two slept on the double bed and my eldest spent the night sleeping on top of our two suitcases! The door frames and skirting boards were rotten and the bathroom seemed grubby and the supposed recent makeover incomplete. The vents were dirty. There were ants in the room and bathroom. We couldn’t help but notice another smell too. The next day (my Birthday) we complained and were offered an upgrade at their sister hotel. We went to visit and whilst the other hotel was amazing we decided to stick with the Sunrise Hotel, after they said the mattresses would be replaced. We spent the afternoon in the pool (it was pleasant but the metal guide/handle into the pool was insecure and wobbly). We then explored the food - it was basic and not to our taste or expectations, not helped by the awful sewerage smell. The drinks were watered down and warm. The smell seemed to intensify when visiting the onsite shop - which my kids renamed the stinky shop. There was not enough sun beds and the ones there were clearly needed replacing. We went back to the room (the mattresses had not been changed) to have a shower to find it did not work correctly - water was coming from the tap but the mixer part did not work. My eldest then decided to see what his other smell was and pulled out me of the cabinets out to find this awful mess (see photo) which looks to me like human baby poo! That was the final straw and we were upgraded to the other hotel and then managed to enjoy our holiday. Sunrise did say they would get the manager to come and look at the room but this didn’t happen. The photos you see on the website are nothing like the room we had (apparently a superior family room - it definitely was not & if they class it as that I’d hate to see the standard version)! It is false advertising. The beach was attractive but there was the awful smell. So my advice is steer clear! How can they run a hotel with such disgusting poor standards?! The only good thing is them arranging an upgrade to a different hotel.

3rd time of staying at The Sunrise and each time we stay it only gets better. Beautiful hotel with a stunning view and on the beach. On arrival we had a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room. The staff are really lovely and extremely helpful. There are 2 pools and a separate bar for over 16s only if you like it a bit quieter. The food is amazing and always plenty of choice. We always come for the Greek Easter and the restaurant was done out beautifully and everyone joined in The Easter celebrations together. For us it's the perfect place to stay for our holidays, I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel. Looking forward to our next visit already!

What a holiday! From the second we walked through the door we were welcomed so well all the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The pool and bar area was very nice and relaxing including an optional beach bar and area which was a massive bonus. The food was amazing which included local cuisine which we loved! The rooms very clean and nice sea views and even gifted with wine and fruit on our first day! William is the best bar man in Greece always very friendly. Definitely reccomend to anyone looking for a lovely getaway me and my girlfriend had the best time!

Very friendly people who works here, very welcoming. Rooms were nice and clean, with housecleaning everyday. Free water in the room, which was nice. Very delicious and a great variation of the food. As a vegetarian, they had a lot of great options. Also really appreciated the different pool areas, they had something for every person. Kids and families, people who enjoyed a more quiet and relaxed atmosphere and also a pool for people who enjoyed music and more. All together - great vacation, will definitely time back. By the way, they practically forced us to right a good review and give them 5 stars, by sitting us down at a table, telling us what to put in and to give them 5 stars. Not that i don’t mean what i wrote in my review, I just found that very odd and intrusive.

Stayed here the past week. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. It looks it from the outside but that’s as far as it goes. Our biggest issue being that local cats are allowed to roam the restaurant during meal times. One evening a family seated next to us had a cat repeatedly jump onto their table while they were eating & the hotel staff did nothing to stop it. We also regularly found food to be barely warm at best & sometimes completely cold, regardless of how early or late we ate. Only one small bar for evening drinks, unless you sit in the food court area but that is not good enough for what is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Evening entertainment takes place in a mock amphitheater which looks like it’s been built by a DIY enthusiast on a bad day. The evening “shows” are acts your local club would be embarrassed to put on (apart from the dance group who were amazing). The hotel is isolated & in a very run down area. Just a couple of restaurants & small supermarket within a few minutes walk. Don’t book a taxi through the hotel reception as it will cost you double than if you book it directly. Nice pools though & the animation team work hard to provide activities during the day.

This is not a true 4-star all-inclusive hotel. At best, it feels like a poor 3-star. The staff often seemed uninterested and unhelpful, which sets a bad tone right away. Food was generally bland, cold, and uninspiring — most of the time it was just “meh.” On one occasion, when I asked about the cold food, I was told to use a dirty microwave to heat it myself. (Is this seriously a standard for a 4 start all inclusive??) Cold meat being served this way is unacceptable at any standard. The corridors around the rooms felt neglected, with cleaning trolleys and bin bags left lying around. We stayed near the maintenance room, where staff would smoke inside, and the smell filled the hallway and even seeped into our room — very unpleasant. (and unprofessional) During the day, staff would sometimes play their own loud music at the bar while the “entertainment” team played something else just a few meters away. The clashing sounds created a noisy, confused atmosphere that was more annoying than enjoyable. On top of that, the grounds often had a sewer smell, and overall, the staff seemed to do the bare minimum. Positives: there was a snack/food bar available throughout the day, lots of loungers by the three pools, and the beach was close and very nice. A few staff members did stand out — some ladies at the table service and most of the reception staff were friendly and helpful — but unfortunately, they were the exception rather than the rule. Overall, I left disappointed. This hotel does not live up to its 4-star promise, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re expecting a high-quality all-inclusive experience.

On arrival the reception team were welcoming and took us to our room. Our room was modern, clean and spacious. There are multiple pools which are also clean and there’s always sun beds available and the drinks are lovely. There was lots of variety with the food and different places to eat from throughout the day. We had a late flight on our last day and wanted to extend our check-out time and Cara and Ourania were extremely helpful with our options, they were so friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any couple, I would say it is also good for families as there were lots of young children during the time we stayed.

We stayed here as a couple for our 2nd wedding anniversary and overall had a good time. We arrived late about 10.30pm and was greeted very warmly by the reception staff. Our bags were taken and we were told to take a seat over by the lobby bar and someone would be over shortly. We were offered a drink and told there was food at the snack bar. This was a good start and we felt very well taken care of. After about 30 minutes we were taken to our room, which on first impressions looked good. Yes, some areas a little dated but fine. We were given a lovely bottle of wine in the room that was a nice touch. The room was of good size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little cramped in my opinion. We didnt realise this until two of us were in there. In the morning we went to the balcony thar was a good size and had a nice view of the hills in the distance and of course a sea view. The communal areas are spotless and some good areas to have pictures taken. So, off to breakfast. Option to eat inside or outside. The breakfast itself was very good. Even the fussiest of diners shouldn't struggle. There was a bit of everything and eggs cooked 5 different ways. One thing that would have been nice would have been to have other options of sausages for the cooked breakfast as these although nice were mostly hot dogs. At lunch and dinner the main restaurant had a very good variety of foods. Everything from pizza, selections of hot meats, fish, salads, cheeses, cold meats, occasionally themed and much more. The beach restaurant also had excellent variety. Not as much as the main restaurant but still very good. Not just the usual burger and chips etc. We went to two of the a la carte restaurant's. The Asian and Italian. Both were excellent. Food and service. The option of branded alcohol too I thought was very good indeed and the cocktails are made to order which is brilliant. If its busy you are asked to take a seat and someone will come to you but that's fine. Its part of the service. Tge beach bar and lobby bar all work very hard. The beach is ok. Its not all sand and going in the sea is a bit difficult, so as others mention sea shoes are a must. If you forget them there is a market near by. The market is definitely worth a visit too for other things. Overall the hotel was great. We did have 2 occasions when waiting staff just left us at the table without a drink and when they served the table next to us we felt they just ignored us as they had seen us come in. Other than that a nice memory in Rhodes. Would we return here. Maybe, maybe not. We'd have a think about it as it was quite expensive for what we got. If we did we'd probably stay at one of the bungalows.

I don't even know where to begin. Me and my husband booked this for our honeymoon/ my birthday and disappointment is an understatement. We arrived quite late to the hotel. We did not received a warm welcome at all. We were chucked an iPad to fill put a questionnaire and then was sent to our room. Wasn't told basic information. Was not showed around. We couldn't book any of the restaurants as they were all fully booked. We even tried to to get a spot at one being it was our honeymoon / birthday, but no...they couldn't accommodate. The breakfast buffet was stone cold every morning, we actually decided to stop going down for breakfast. I nearly slipped over on the floor as the floor was wet and hadn't been mopped up. The buffet for evening food and lunch was the same every day. The entertainment was next to none. There was so much for kids, but nothing for adults. Myself and my husband were bored. The general attitude towards me and my husband was vile. We believe it was because we were younger, and they respected their elderly more which is fine, but no need for rudeness. You always had to fight for a seat on the balcony at night time. There was no air-conditioning in the actual inside seating area where the bar was which was so uncomfortable. The day time entertainment was so repetitive, to the point where it was the same music and same pool dances every day at the same time. There was lots of kids in the adult pool, but no management to stop this which was super frustrating as the kids pool was just around the corner and empty. The inside pool/spa was very small and intimate which is great if it is just you and your other half but not so great if others are in there. The overall service for us was just shocking. For what we paid for this holiday, we were very disappointed and would not go back. We had a later flight so we asked to keep our room on for the last day. They wanted to charge 400 euros, which is just absurd. They let us keep our room until 12 eventhough our flight was at 8pm. So we sat in the inside bar for 6 hours. Nobody asked if we needed anything or if we were okay. We had to go up and order our own drinks. We were just looked down upon for being young. This is what it felt like. We also placed towels on sunbeds for 10 minutes whilst I went back to the room to get my phone. They had removed our towels from the sun beds. We would not go back here. It is beautiful. Don't get me wrong and it was so clean...but just not the service or experience we wanted for the money we paid. When we left...we didnt even get a goodbye.

So disappointed in this resort. We previously stayed at the Grecotel in Corfu and it was amazing....this place is not. Rooms, hallways, elevators all need renovation. Currently the air-conditioning is not working. The first room we checked into last night had hot air coming out of the AC vents so we waited about 1- 1 1/2 hours for them to put us in another room just to have the same EXACT thing happen. We had to sleep with the sliding doors open and of course woke up with mosquito bites everywhere. If the resort as a whole is experiencing issues with their air-conditioning, we should have been notified of this when we checked in yesterday. The 2 meals we have had so far at this resort have just been mediocre at best.While the hotel staff are extremely polite and the ocean view and pools are very beautiful, that cannot make up for all the other things listed in this post. I would NEVER stay here again. It's so bad my husband is looking for a room elsewhere. Again, I cannot describe my level of disappointment at this resort compared to the one on Corfu. The one on Corfu is a 10, this is a 2.

The Hotel was fantastic. Lovely facilities, friendly and helpful staff who all spoke very good English. They really looked after us, upgrading our room (which was amazing) and leaving us complimentary wine, champagne, a fruit basket and a gift bag of local products. The location felt perfect with quick easy access to both the airport and the old town. Being situated so close to the beach was great, with only a short walk to a watersports hire centre. Food was good every night and the decor of the whole hotel was very tasteful. The courtyard area near main reception had a "wow" factor that made it feel like we were part of an old ruin, very relaxing place to sit. Our only feedback on what would have made our stay better was that the pool was too cold for October temperatures and that the spa, though nicely decorated, was incredibly overpriced for what was actually on offer there. Charging for the privilege of using the "adults only" section felt like a bit of a con. There wasn't a lot to use in terms of the facility and the massages didn't live up to the price. As with the main hotel the staff were always professional and friendly.

Lia, Daria, and Chrissie were absolutely exceptional ... truly the “angels of Charlie” of this hotel. From the moment I arrived, they made everything seamless. Any question, any request, no matter how small or big they solved it with efficiency, kindness, and a smile. Their professionalism and warmth set the tone for the entire stay, making me feel genuinely cared for. The room itself was stunning... spacious, elegant, and perfectly prepared. Every detail was thought of, and it felt more like a luxury home than a hotel suite. Thanks to Lia, Daria, and Chrissie, our stay was effortless and unforgettable. They’re THE dream team, and the hotel is lucky to have them!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the receptionist was so lovely I'm so sad I cannot remember her name (blonde with glasses around 4-8 October) she was so fantastic, so professional, the pools were lovely, the rooms were clean (actually very clean!!) and spacious, area was lovely, only 15mins bus to Rhodes centre, 1hr walk to centre if you want to get your steps in and you can take lots of photos on the way! There were lots of seats but the pool side but we were off peak, we will be back here!!

Rooms are nice but hotel is far from a 5 * hotel, more like a low 3*Reception gives basic speel on arrival and got a lot wrong and was very basic. No info on tour reps etc. Could have been as we were late night arrival. Food is ok, basic, and for an all inclusive there is limited choices. Drinks are not all inclusive, and the all inclusive stops at 1200 in the bar. Some staff are great, mainly the day staff but the night staff upstairs are too busy chatting and seem quite aloof. I waited 15 minutes for a drink as I approached the bar to be, quite rudely, informed it was waiter service. Pools are a bit grubby and sunbeds are nearly all knackered. Location is ok, right by the main road so get road noise all day. Also building going on at the top pool so digger was chugging about for 3 days. Spa is very good but very expensive, £120 for 70 mins massage. But so good. For me I wouldnt go back. Far too expensive for what it is, a bssic 3* and can get far better next door. PS. Massive shout out to Jet2 for helping with our flt back when my Wife slipped and hurt her back, couldnt have been more helpful and gave my wife a row to herself.

From the moment we arrived at the Amus Hotel & Spa in Rhodes, we were made to feel so welcome. Every single member of staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely went out of their way to make our stay special ... nothing was ever too much trouble. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views from our room were simply breathtaking ... the kind you never get tired of waking up to. The hotel’s facilities are excellent, with a great choice of bars and restaurants onsite. Each one offered a brilliant experience with delicious food, a lovely atmosphere, and staff who were always professional and eager to please. It really felt like we were looked after at every turn. The spa, which is onsite but run by an external company, is also well worth a visit. The facilities themselves are amazing and add an extra touch of luxury to the stay. The treatments were very enjoyable, though it’s worth noting there is a little pressure selling from the spa team. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall quality of the experience. All in all, the Amus Hotel & Spa exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-quality, and friendly place to stay in Rhodes, I can’t recommend it highly enough. Staff friendly , but not good at giving information. Instead you download the app and hope for the best. We had a room with a pool and at best was a 3 star. The hotel itself was lovely, but the rooms didn’t match up, especially the bathroom. The shower was very small and dated , so had to use the shower that was in the bath. Water shuts down at a certain time of the day , which nobody informs you about, but they were clean. We could smell sewage where our room was, which was very unpleasant. You have to buy drinks for your room as extra if you want them , which should be included in a 5 star hotel. The food wasn’t up to much , same things every day, but breakfast was the best. Beach bar food was the same thing everyday too. The toilets in the hotel itself were lovely and the pools were nice. Not much on offer regarding excursions, seems to be just trips to Lindos or Rhodes . Rhodes was lovely , but wouldn’t bother with Lindos as not much there . Overall , a nice hotel and we enjoyed our holiday, but it’s not a 5 star hotel in my opinion. Our 5 star stay in Turkey last year was much better and soft drinks mini bar was included!

I spent a truly wonderful week at Lindos Imperial Hotel, and it was one of the most relaxing holidays I’ve ever had. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and always greeted me with a smile. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a perfect stay. The buffet meals were fantastic — there was such a wide variety of delicious food every day. It could get a little busy at times, but the quality and taste made it absolutely worth it. The hotel’s pools were beautiful and there was a lovely beach just a short walk away. I also enjoyed the spa very much — I had several massage sessions with Dalika, who was truly wonderful. She’s not only professional and skilled, but also has such a warm and caring spirit. Each massage left me feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Overall, my stay at Lindos Imperial was exceptional. Everything from the service to the atmosphere exceeded my expectations, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again next year!

We stayed at Lindos Imperial Resort &spa for a truly relaxing holiday, and it was everything we hoped for. We came at the end of the season to avoid the crowds and it was the perfect choice! The hotel was peaceful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious with so many options. We enjoyed both the outdoor and indoor pools, spent time in the sauna, and I treated myself to a lovely spa experience. My treatment included a body scrub, massage, and facial all of it was amazing! Dalika took wonderful care of me throughout the session. She was kind, professional, and always had a warm smile that made me feel so welcome. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Where do I start...let's start at the beginning. When I checked in, I had to pay €70 in tourist tax. This was a shocking amount and apparently the cost coincides with the star rating of the hotel. I went into the restaurant to have lunch whilst my room was finished and cleaned. As I sat down, the food was cold and there were ants on the table. If the restaurant were outside, I could forgive this, but it wasn't. The food at lunch and dinner was always cold throughout my stay, it didn't matter whether I was there when the restaurant opened or an hour after, it was cold. Moreover, the food was repetitive, BBQ ribs 3 times in a week. It was bland and flavourless and it was stuff I can get at home. I had a chicken nugget for lunch and it tasted funny so I opened another one and it was grey. The chicken was grey 🤢🤮 When I stay in a Greek hotel, I expect Greek food; spanakopita, souvlaki, yovetsi, but there was only one "Greek night" where they did Gyros. The Gyros had more onion and bread than meat. If you want decent Gyros, you would have to leave the hotel and walk to a taverna 30 minutes away towards the aquarium. My room overlooked the generator for the hotel. When I booked a "land view" room, I was expecting to see a garden, not a cliff side with the generator on it. When I had a shower, I noticed that the floor was covered in black mould. It was vile. The shower was luke warm. The WiFi was only available in reception, the main bar, restaurant and roof pool, it didn't stretch to my room and I was lucky if I had 5G signal so I was completely cut off from everyone at home. The cleaners didn't clean anything whilst I was there. I would leave the sign on the door that asks for it to be cleaned, and all they did was make the bed and give fresh towels. None of the surfaces were cleaned, the back mould was evidence that they didn't clean the shower and they didn't give you fresh sheets. The hotel staff allowed the stray cats to wander the corridors, meowing at all hours of the night. The hotel staff, barring a few, were rude and obnoxious. There was an objectively good looking barman who would just slam my drink on the bar and when I said "thank you" in both English and Greek, he would just grunt at me. The power went out one night, due to the weather, so the generator started, and where did I say that generator was? Right outside my room. It sounded like the Russians were coming. I always take ear-plugs with me which protect against 27 decibels and I could still hear that generator with the ear plugs in! The "entertainment" every night was repetitive and boring. My first night was bingo where you could win a cocktail (because even all inclusive guests had to pay for cocktails). The prizes should have been an experience on the island or a cash prize or something but a cocktail? Then there was a lot of "dance nights" just pithy discos. As mentioned earlier, there was a Greek night where we got to see traditional Greek dancing and that was good and worth seeing, however other than that there wasn't anything great. The "entertainment team" were nice people, however they would change the activities last minute. I was expecting a music quiz one night and it was changed last minute to another "dance night". I can honestly say that I hated every minute of being in the hotel. I enjoyed the activities outside of the hotel (the ones that weren't cancelled due to the bad weather). I don't know who gave this hotel a 4* rating -maybe it was the ants- but it doesn't deserve it. I will never stay in this hotel again and honestly, I doubt that I will ever visit the island again.

We had a Bungalow here and wi-fi wasn’t working!!! So, some bungalows have a wi-fi, some don’t. It’s weird because hotel’s wi-fi works even when you eating in near by restaurants but doesn’t work in it’s own bungalows lol I guess it just can’t reach that point where bungalows are, but hotel itself has good connection. There is a lot of steps in hotel and around. That whole area is pretty hilly, but beautiful. There is another thing I don’t understand - Breakfast is delicious, a lot of choices and perfect food, tasty! Stuff is friendly! But there is no control over who’s eating, they don’t check if you paid for breakfast when you go to eat, which kind of made me feel like an idiot paying breakfast in advance and everyone just comes eating it lol Hotel is clean, you have people working on it every day. It’s right next to many beaches and bars! Pools are clean! They have shows going on at night, traditional dancing, or free gambling for cocktails. Always someone different. Pretty fun! Cocktails very delicious. Christos is the guy that should be a manager there, he is born for professional service and managing situations.

Overall the stay was okay, but definitely not a 4 star hotel. The staff were very friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant and helped us with what ever questions or minor requests we had. The view is quite stunning and the location I guess okay, considering the island. There’s quite a variety of restaurants and shop within walking distance; same goes for beach. There was a surprisingly good variety of dishes for dinner and not all drenched in oil. Lots of vegetables and good options at the salad bar. Really appreciate the amount of fruits as well. Some activities planned every night, so that was a bit of fun. The downsides are firstly the rooms. They are in dire need of renovation, as a lot of the furniture is old, walls/ floors chipped, old moldy looking fixtures. The doors also ancient, not sound proved at all so one can hear everyone passing corridor, talking and most annoyingly, dragging luggage at 6 am. Indeed, the wifi signal is almost non-existent, could barely get some signal close to the balcony.

Had an amazing holiday here!! We were welcomed by staff and they helped with our bags up the stairs and also down into our room! All staff are amazing(reception, bar, restaurant, pool and entertainment)especially the entertainment team Mattia, Margherita and Zoe who made us laugh non-stop! They are all very polite and friendly people who definitely made the holiday and hotel experience a lot better, trying their best to keep everyone entertained… just a shame about the equipment that they have been provided with in the evening as it was a big struggle for them to use and breaks up a lot when using the microphone. The views the room with a partial sea view and in the hotel is beautiful and food is okay too, definitely not for the more picky eaters. The room we were in was alright and did the job it just needs a refresh with the bathroom/shower. The WiFi did not work in our room but it did on the balcony and around the hotel. Overall had an amazing experience (again mainly down to the team at this hotel)!!!

The hotel is quite good, actually very nice. The rooms were cleaned every day. The only downside is that the food was more or less the same, there wasn’t much variety in the dishes. Other than that, everything was excellent, and the view was wonderful. From the room you could clearly see the bay and the sea.

Worst experience ever. For couple of days we had only cold water when it was already cold outside. It made me sick. Then for whole day the electricity went off. Food is mostly the same the whole week. And quite cold. But the worst - bed bugs. When we told the receptionist the manager said well I don’t see it. Location is okay. It’s a village, not much to do, but honestly I do not recommend this hotel. The conditions are not sanitary.

I would give the hotel 3.5 stars. Our room was very basic, with the bare essentials like a fridge, T.V., hairdryer etc but this was fine. The room was also very clean. However, our shower was poor - the holder for the shower head was rusted, so came away from the wall a couple of times which could be frustrating. Alongside this, the showerhead was also similarly rusted/damaged so all of the water would come out of the side of the head. This isn't something we mentioned to the staff as it was bearable, but is a shame it hadn't been picked up prior to our stay. The bedroom had a lovely balcony overlooking the main pool and the air-conditioning in the room was great. Sheets/towels are changed every 3 days, which from a sustainability perspective is excellent. The food was okay - their was a good selection of foods to choose from, including salads, stuffed vegetables and plenty of meat/fish options also. The food was quite basic but was tasty, although at times was samey and I was ready for a change by the end of the week. It would be good if the foods could be labelled with allergens as my friend is gluten intolerant, although I'm completely understand that this is a small business so this likely isn't possible. I wasn't a huge fan of the ice-cream, and the wines weren't particularly nice, although the cocktails were very good as were the soft drinks options. We enjoyed the location - there is a beach just a short walk away from the hotel. There are plenty of local shops & restaurants by the beach also, a couple of which we tried and enjoyed. There aren't many bus connections available - there is one bus that goes to Corfu town (A7), that you need to pre-book tickets for at Alexandros Bikes which is by the beach and is €4 each way. There is another bus but I can't remember where this goes! There is also a sulphuric smell, particularly sitting in the outside seating area, however I don't think this is something the hotel can control and is likely due to the older plumbing on the island. The staff are also very friendly & willing to help - multiple times we asked the reception staff for help and the woman manning it was really helpful, answering all our questions and helping us navigate the buses & our trip to Aqualand! This made us feel very welcomed and did really come in handy when it came to getting out & about. Overall, I have to say this didn't feel like a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is in a good location, situated on a hill with a nice view, and it’s only about a 10-minute walk to the beach. However, there are several downsides that made our stay less enjoyable. One of the biggest issues is the very strong smell of sewage around the hotel, especially near the dining area. This was extremely unpleasant, particularly when eating. Transportation is also quite limited – the only bus connection goes directly to Corfu Town, so getting around without a car is difficult. The rooms are clean, but not very functional. The shower is very small with a curtain that constantly sticks to you, and there is no space to put toiletries. There are also no wardrobes or shelves in the room to store clothes, which makes longer stays inconvenient. The dining room is small and often overcrowded. Breakfasts are repetitive, and desserts were frequently missing. Drinks are served in single-use plastic cups, which is shocking and environmentally unfriendly. There is very poor mobile reception and the Wi-Fi does not reach the rooms, so staying connected is a challenge. On a positive note, the staff are kind and always willing to help.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! There were nine of us in total—including two little ones (aged 3 and 1)—and we spent two unforgettable weeks at the hotel, making memories we'll cherish forever. We'd love to return. Staff: 5/5 First off, a huge thank you to the incredible staff. I apologise if I’ve got any names wrong! Our housekeeper—Abgengia, I believe—was simply fantastic. She kept our room spotless and was so thoughtful and warm with the kids. My little ones adored her and even drew her a special picture! Demetrius from the food and beverage team made an immediate impression. He went above and beyond every day, especially with my 3-year-old—her face lit up every time he was around. And Nicos? His cocktail skills are top-notch! Always ready to help with a smile and happy to fulfill even the most specific requests. There were 2 ladies in reception who were also very friendly and accommodating! Food: 4.5/5 The food was excellent—fresh, tasty, and varied. We were spoilt from breakfast through to Dinner. The staff made sure everything was well stocked and clean. And those grill nights? Not only did they smell divine, but they added such a vibrant energy to the evenings. Entertainment: 3/5 The resort featured three pools, including access to an adults-only one—so finding sunbeds was never an issue. Entertainment-wise, there were only two themed nights during the week: a Friday duet and the Sunday Greek night. The Greek evening was an absolute highlight—interactive, lively, and full of special moments. We just wish there had been more of that kind of entertainment throughout the week. Hotel: 3.5/5 We stayed in a family room and were initially impressed with the space. However, we did come across a few maintenance issues—like a shower that caused flooding, a loose toilet seat, and a less-than-comfy mattress. Unfortunately, one night my daughter was woken drenched and cold from a drip from the ceiling over her bed. It took nearly 12 hours for us to be moved rooms. We were surprised to see the new room had similar maintenance concerns, but thankfully no leaks. Our extended family in other rooms had similar minor issues, but since we didn’t spend much time indoors, it wasn’t a major problem for us. I would also mention that the furniture in the family rooms weren’t toddler friendly. I.e sharp corners, and slippery floors. Outside of the room, the hotel grounds were gorgeous. The beach and local shops were just a short stroll away, and the overall setting was beautiful! We would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the hotel as a family from September 26 to October 1, 2025. The weather was wonderful during this time. The hotel staff are very helpful in every way, especially the guest relations manager, Christina. We received a complimentary room upgrade to a Family Comfort Garden View, for which I am very grateful. The hotel grounds are very green and well-maintained, and the beach has perfect soft sand, which is very comfortable for families with children. The food is varied, delicious, and offers a wide selection. The rooms are in good condition, although some of the furniture could use renovation. Room cleaning is also of good quality. The only, but very unpleasant, incident that happened to us at the hotel was a case of personal insult based on nationality from the doctor, Pandis Christos, whose medical office is located on the hotel grounds. The doctor told me, as a Ukrainian, that he likes russia and that putin will pay my bill. He did not apologize for his words. For this reason, I do not recommend visiting the medical office at the hotel due to the unprofessional behavior of Pandis Christos.

SPA REVIEW:Freddie was my therapist today at the spa at the resort and oh my I cant speak highly enough. I walked into the spa and was greeted by Sophia. She was so kind and knowledgeable about the services products and tailoring services to your needs and wants. I was scheduled in last minute at the end of our stay which was great as they are very busy. I arrived 5 minutes before to fill in my medical form and was introduced to Freddie. The man with the magic hands. He greeted me with a warm smile before showing me to the most cozy relaxing room. Instant comfort. He helped me on the bed and made sure I was comfortable the whole way through which at 6 months pregnant is essential. I had a hydra facial today and it was honestly the most relaxing experience ive ever had to the point I fell asleep. Freddie was so kind about that and gently woke me at the end of my treatment and helped me up. My skin feels amazing !!! The spa is beautiful. The staff are wonderful within the spa. This is not included in the all inclusive package but well worth the money!

Stay: September 8–15, 2025 ☀️🏝️🌸🇬🇷 🧿This resort exceeded my expectations with its beautiful environment, excellent food, and welcoming staff. From the very beginning we felt comfortable and well taken care of. 🧿The room was spacious, quiet, and had a large terrace. The amenities met all expectations — very comfortable beds, air conditioning, a small fridge (perfect for keeping water cool for the beach), a safe, and fresh towels provided daily. 🧿The resort feels like a small village, with a main restaurant, a restaurant near the beach, several pools with bars, and a large, well-stocked shop. The all-inclusive service was excellent: a wide variety of buffets, different types of meat each day (pork, beef, duck, fish), and plenty of vegetarian options. I especially enjoyed the dolmades (served both hot and cold), the delicious moussaka, the local olives, and the feta cheese. The main restaurant was always spotless, and the staff were friendly, smiling, and very attentive. 🧿The pools were well maintained, the beach sandy, and the adults-only zone was a big plus — the loungers with mattresses were extremely comfortable. We spent a lot of time at the pool bar, where the bartenders were not only hard-working but also very funny and made the stay even more enjoyable 🩵 🧿 The location of the resort is excellent — close to a market, tavernas, and the Korission Lagoon. A trip to Kerkyra Town is definitely worth it. Overall, a wonderful holiday experience — highly recommended, 10/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I will start with the positive. The Spa was wonderful and Lisa was an excellent therapist. She was so experienced and made me feel very relaxed. The staff in the restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. However the resort is in need of renovation. The rooms were very basic and need freshened up badly. There are plenty of aqua and beach activities but they were all done in French, so I couldn’t participate because couldn’t understand what they were saying. Anywhere else has always spoken in English. The bar near the pool and beach was supposed to be open to midnight but it never stopped then nor did very loud music until 1-1.30am in the morning. I complained about this on several occasions and was told it would be sorted, but it never was. On one occasion when I phoned reception (which I was told to do) they actually hung up on me. There was a horrendous smell in the toilets at the main restaurant and other places around the resort. The food was good the first week, however the second week the choices were poor and there was only one choice of vegetable for dinner each evening. For the cost of this holiday it was definitely not up to standard and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Worst holiday ever

Stayed 29th sep -7th October The resort itself is lovely. 3 pools to choose from all with plently of sunbeds for people. The adults only is fantastic as well if you just want peace. The room was okay. For me its just a bed to sleep and enjoy my day. The cleaning service dont come till late breakfast/after. Which is a little pain as you want to eat and then get ready to go out to the pool as you arent allowed to wear beach/pool clothes to eat. Unfortunately does have a small sewage smell not massively bad but noticeable at first. They have lots of activities during the day to get involved in if you want to. They have a spa on site and that was fantastic. Mariana was the lady who completed my massage and she was fantastic. My back felt amazing after it. Also done the professional photos and that was fantastic as well. I cant comment on the drinks bar soft drinks as i dont drink. The gyros restaurant was absolutely amazing, the food and the staff were welcoming. The italian restaurant was okay. The salad and pizza was amazing but the main and pudding was unimpressive Unfortunately. Otherwise i did really enjoy my time some bits were meh but other then that i would come again as it had everything i needed for a relaxing hoilday

This was the second time we visited the resort and we wasn't disappointed. The resort had had some updates over the winter and these were excellent. New restaurants and main pool update. The place is clean and the cleaners very attentive to keeping our room spotless. The area is lovely and access to the beach easy, with many local great eateries to choose from outside. The whole place was very friendly and special evenings added to the ambiance. The resort caters for all types of clients, we were travelling as an adult family and enjoyed the relative quite of the adult area and pool, this was made extra special, buy our regular bar person Sakis, who made us feel welcomed and entertained throughout. My wife had her 50th Birthday there and Sakis made it that much more special by having a cake made for her. He was brilliant! The food is second to none, with themed nights, from local to Asian, delicious, something for everyone. The rest of the staff showed true commitment to making the clients' stay a pleasurable one from greeters at the restaurant to reception and bar staff and we are all looking forward to visiting again in 2026.

Hotel lovely, lots of pool areas - we spent a lot of time at the quiet adult pool- Sakis the bartender really looked after us and the restaurant at Elia's was excellent- you need to book. All spotless, rooms cleaned daily, staff very helpful and most had very good English.

Second time at this hotel, we went last year and loved it so much we came back with our extended family. We had such a wonderful stay here this year as well. So much to say about how lovely the hotel and staff are. We felt very welcomed and there was so much for the children to do. We stayed in one of the older style rooms which was comfortable. The grounds are very green with lots of spaces for children to play. Highlights were: New pool and lobby bar, lovely sun loungers and wonderful to sit out on in the evening to listen to the live music or just have a relaxing drink Picking your own vegetables for breakfast in the kitchen garden, the kids loved it and a really relaxing way to start the day Greek night when dancers and musicians came to perform- children even loved more than the mini disco. The hotel is right on a beach which was relatively quiet and lovely to go for a peaceful early morning swim. The food was very very good as well, lots of vegetables and lean meats alongside pastas and child friendly options. We would absolutely go again and have already recommended to friends.

Apollo Palace Corfu exceeded our expectations in every way. Our double room was spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping that left everything perfect. The hotel’s gardens and outdoor areas are beautifully kept, offering a serene environment for relaxation. The new large pool is a true highlight, spacious and inviting, perfect for a refreshing swim after a day of sightseeing. The main restaurant impressed us with its variety and quality of food. We especially enjoyed the Thursday Farmer's Breakfast, a charming event that features fresh, organic ingredients sourced from the BIO Farm. Speaking of which, the Thursday BIO Farm experience was a delightful and educational visit that allowed us to connect with local farming traditions and taste incredible organic products. Tuesday evenings brought live soul music to the lobby bar, creating a relaxing and enjoyable ambiance. The BBQ night on Sunday was another highlight delicious grilled dishes served in a friendly atmosphere. We also loved the authentic pizza from the Italian restaurant, a perfect complement to the excellent food throughout our stay. Philippos was very approachable and thoughtful, always attentive to guests’ needs. The lobby bar served a wide selection of excellent drinks, making it a great place to unwind. We highly recommend Apollo Palace Corfu for anyone seeking quality, comfort, and warm hospitality.

A pleasant experience. I’ll start by talking about the good parts of this hotel, because overall I was left with a nice impression. 10/10 for the view – the sea can be seen beautifully from many parts of the hotel – from the dining area, the lobby, the rooms, and the pool. The complex is very large and they have golf carts to move around, since it’s located on a hill. They have 3 pools – the 2 adult ones are big, have an amazing view, and are very beautiful, and the children’s pool is just as nice. The food is varied – it doesn’t excel, but it’s not bad either; with so many options, you always find something to eat. The staff is nice, especially the Asian staff. At the resort’s gate, there is a bus stop. Less strong points, or things I disliked and think should be improved: The fact that the water is not drinkable – it’s horrible, and we had to buy bottled water daily from the market below. That wouldn’t be such a problem, but not being able to have a glass of water at breakfast because the only option available tastes awful is unpleasant. The beach is quite narrow and very poorly maintained – rocks, dirt, the sunbeds are pretty dirty and not well-kept. It’s nice that there are so many cats, but more attention should be given, because some of them are sick, and they were roaming around the dining hall between people’s feet and near the plates. Since it’s such a big complex, I imagine it’s hard and expensive to maintain, but some aspects deserve to be improved – for example, certain details in the rooms – semi-broken or dirty doors; shower gel dispensers that come off the wall

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aeolos Beach Resort – Corfu We stayed here in September 2025 with our two young daughters and had the best family holiday ever. The resort is beautiful, with a private beach that’s perfect for kids, lovely pools, and breathtaking views. Our girls’ favorite part was the golf carts driving around the resort – such a fun and convenient way to get around! The restaurant had delicious daily options, always fresh and warm, and the snack bar and bars were great for drinks and light meals throughout the day. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We can’t recommend Aeolos Beach Resort enough for families, couples or friends – unforgettable memories and we can’t wait to return!

Overall the experience was good.The only thing that was really a bummer was the fact that despite ordering two rooms for ourselves and the kids and specifically asking to have a side by side or at least within the same vicinity the hotel was reluctant to provide us with rooms in close proximity which really dented the entire experience leaving us with a situation where the kids were too far away and could not really interact with one another especially during the evening time. Though I went to the reception and explicitly asked to upgrade or downgrade or whatever it needed to allow the rooms to be in close vicinity it wasn't catered and this has really dented our experience. from the location perspective it's a great place next to the beach but the rooms facing the beach are on the main road which means that trucks and buses are a part of the atmosphere when sitting in the room which really negates the whole experience of being in the nature.

Had a fantastic week at Akti Beach club. We stayed in the adult only area. Our room was really nice and cleaned daily. The mini bar was a welcome surprise. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was really nice with something for everyone. We used the main restraunt once as they had a much bigger selection of different dishes but it was very busy so we kept to the restraunt in the adult area. There was different entertainment each night. The bar was a nice area to sit and relax. The cocktails were pre mixed in a plastic bottle. They were nice, if the staff shook the bottle properly, if the didn't, it was undrinkable. The beach is awful, dirty, full of rubbish and there's rocks everywhere. There's a free shuttle bus from reception to Kardemena which is 10 mins away. Its a lovely town with a gorgeous beach, plenty of bars and souvenir shops. We had a late return flight, kept our room until 6 pm for €50. You can use the All inclusive until you leave the hotel which is great if your flight is late. Loved everything about Akti beach club.

The hotel its self is a massive place. The rooms are clean and tidy. There area in which the hotel is located is quite a trek away from the nearest town. The hotel does supply a free bus service for this. The food is good but quite repetitive. The moring breakfast rush can be quite a show. The lady maken the omelettes is really slow and sometimes having to wait upto 15-20 just for your turn. We stayed in the adult only area with a shared pool these rooms are a good size but the pool area is shaded so not alot of sun in that area. The drinks well there's plenty of choice available the only issue is the cocktails are from bottles and sometime undrinkable. On checking in your given free pool towels and a safe key which is a plus. The only issue that we had was when it rained the front area of our hotel room had flooded and we couldn't leave and we had to place a towel up against the door to stop the rain from coming in. I would definitely say its a 4* not a 5.

Everything you could want here. Firstly the staff are amazing from the cleaners to the managers everyone is so helpful and will try to cater to all your needs. The rooms are nice and are cleaned everyday with new bedding/ towels. The food choice is great every day something different you will never go hungry and will always find something you like to eat. Plenty of beds and different pools dependent on if you want to chill or have fun. A few minutes walk to your own beach area with plenty of beds. Snack bars and drink machines close by at all times to refill at your own leisure.

15 years me and our family have been coming to this place and it only gets better, we honestly could recommend this hotel again and again. We're already looking to book again next year. The food, drinks bar staff are excellent the hotel manager George is a true gentleman and I forgot to mention the gardeners who have done an amazing job with the plants , palm trees and the whole gardens throughout a large complex a big well done I say to them. Trust me when I say this place is perfect for all families and couples and if you see a bad review from someone it's totally nonsense. Thank you again akti for making our holiday memorable 💖

We already had high expectations given the good reviews, but Akti Beach and its team exceeded them!! Both the food and the facilities were excellent. The kitchen team varied daily and always prepared delicious food and plenty of it. The service staff (waiters, cleaning ladies, reception) which you deal with a lot as a guest, was very friendly despite the fact that some guests can be very rude. The rooms were neat and clean, with comfortable mattresses and excellent air conditioning. Some tips: - spend a little extra and get a room with pool access, which is fantastic! - if you are not traveling with children, go for the adult only! - go for a beauty treatment or massage at the spa, it’s next level! We will definitely come back!

I felt like sharing a review about this hotel. Overall, the hotel is not bad: the territory is large, well-maintained, and full of greenery — from roses to banana trees. It really makes a nice impression. The food is also good, thanks to the chefs! I especially want to highlight the wide selection of fish dishes — every day there was fish in any form, plus cheese and olives — simply amazing! Very tasty 🫶 Special thanks to the bartenders as well — the cocktails were made professionally. The pools are also great. However, unfortunately, the room we were given was a complete disappointment. Cleaning was done only every other day, and even then barely at all. The bathroom was shocking: mold on the tiles, very slow-running water, and a terrible smell caused by the mold. The room was constantly dusty — even above and under the bed there was trash left from previous guests. The soundproofing was also very poor. The room really needs urgent renovation. I truly hope the management pays attention to this, because it is very important.

This is a comfortable hotel for a holiday, but it does not deserve 5 stars – the level of service and food is below that of many 4-star hotels. Check-in takes a very long time, and the staff shows little empathy towards guests arriving late at night. The process should be improved – for example, the tourist tax could be collected on another day. The deluxe room is standard – with no signs of mold or unpleasant odors. Slippers and bathrobes are provided. Cleaning is done every two days, but towels are not replaced. Once we even received two extra towels with stains, which was quite confusing. Beach towels generally don’t need daily replacement. The beach is sandy with a gentle entrance to the sea, but unfortunately heavily littered with seaweed, which is not cleaned. There are enough sunbeds for everyone, though the shuttle car to the beach runs rarely. Food at the hotel is its weakest point – the selection is limited and worse than in many 4-star properties. Ice cream is available only at the pool bar, and for dinner instead of fresh fish they sometimes serve fish sticks. Coffee from the machine tastes worse than instant, and lamb or seafood dishes are problematic. During the day, bars offer sandwiches and pizza, which is a convenient option, and lunch can be enjoyed at the beach tavern. The hotel’s location is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet – within 3 km there are fields and a power plant, so you won’t find city noise here. There is no public transport stop by the hotel, but a shuttle to the town is provided. On site there is also a small shop with souvenirs, food, and clothing.

This 4 star all inclusive hotel is not far off the mark. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed with bath/shower. The room though however had a distinct lack of power outlets with the necessity to unplug something to use any personal items. The bathroom has a hair dryer but no other power outlet. Food quality was good with some changes throughout our stay (12 nights). There is light entertainment most nights. Free shuttle to beach and back regularly. Public bus to Kos town stops at the Hotel. Staff were all very helpful and pleasant. The property is clean and spread out. There are lots of amenities for free all described in promotional literature. Even though this Hotel is a 4 star Hotel it attracts the Governments luxury tourist taxes for most of the peak season , so factor that into your costs along with the type of room you need or require. All.in all a very pleasant stay at Mitsis Family Village. One last thing , this a family resort so expect to see lots families , so if you are looking for a quieter option Mitsis have many options in the area.

Exceeded Expectations—A Relaxing Family Escape We’ve just returned from a 5-night stay and genuinely wish we could have extended. This hotel surprised us in the best way. We’ve stayed in plenty of 5-star hotels over the years, and while this one may not have the same polish on paper, the experience was just as good—if not better in some ways. Yes, the rooms are a little dated, but both the Swim-Out Maisonette and the Standard Mountain View were fantastic: spacious, cool with excellent air conditioning, blackout blinds for a restful sleep, comfy beds, and a great shower. The buffet food was consistently tasty. It’s not à la carte, but there was always something fresh and enjoyable, with plenty of variety. Staff were outstanding—friendly, helpful, and constantly working to keep everything running smoothly. Their energy and kindness made a real difference. There were always plenty of sunbeds and shaded areas available, both by the pools and on the beach, which made relaxing effortless. The location is remote, but the local bus to the village is quick, reliable, and just €2 per adult—easy to navigate. Before arriving, I was anxious after reading mixed reviews, but we’ve been thoroughly impressed. A lovely, peaceful break that exceeded our expectations.

The bars are fine, the beach is big and clean with sun loungers and umbrellas (free of charge). The restaurant has a good choice of various dishes. The beverages are OK. The sea is fantastic with picturesque views to islands and mountains. Highly recommended. The only thing which must be changed: the smoking must be prohibited throughout the hotel and the beach area! There are a lot of smoking people, spoiling the air and poisoning the people!

We had a lovely stay at Mitsis Family Village. The views were stunning, especially from the infinity pool overlooking the sea. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the direct access to the pool from some rooms was a great bonus. The beach area was well organized with plenty of sunbeds. The room was very nice with a balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at the beach was good. Drinks at the beach and pool bar were always fast and good. On the day we arrived there was hair and pieces of glass on the floor. There was no shower gel. We left a note for the cleaning lady and asked at the reception. We received it 2 days later. The luggage room is always open and unsupervised, so be careful.

We are halfway through 10 nights at the Ramira. I will make this review very simple. Good points, the staff are exceptional. A big shout out to Militaldis and all the staff. Militaldis you are hilarious and make everyone happy. The rest of the staff are all happy, from the cleaners to the management. The food is tasty and there is a good selection of drinks. Booking the A la carte restaurants is easy. The entertainment has been good. The hotel is easy to negotiate, every area is within a minute walk. The rooms are a bit dated, but are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. Nice sea view from our sea view room. The fridge is restocked and the cleaners are excellent. Nice pool areas. Free safety deposit box, good wi fi. I will state again the staff are wonderful and the hotel has a lovely vibe. Bad points - none. Keith & Kim

We had a very pleasant stay at Mitsis Ramira in Kos. The hotel is beautiful, with a wide variety of food options. The buffet was consistently good, and we especially enjoyed the à la carte restaurants – the Italian, the steakhouse, and the brunch. Themed nights such as Asian night added a fun touch, and the beach restaurants (gyros and salads) as well as the crêperie (savory and sweet) were a great bonus. The evening entertainment was nice, with the Pop Icons show being the highlight during our stay. The pools are large and beautiful, though we found them quite cold – probably because they are very deep and take longer to warm up in the sun. What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was lovely, friendly, and professional. A special thank you to Giorgios, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra enjoyable – we truly appreciated your kindness and professionalism. Booked this hotel through TUI for our holiday. Also it was my wife's birthday so needed a place to go. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. In the Dinning area we had Noah who was always catering for us paid particular attention to my kids knowing what they wanted when they come for their meal. The rooms were always cleaned. The Kitchen Manager Mr Costa was really intentional when l told him it was my wife's birthday. He helped decorate the table, baked a cake well paid for it and made the evening special for her by singing for her. The holiday Owner did not spare any expense he gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate the occasion. She was indeed very happy. The cleaners also went all out to decorate the room with flowers. The hotel was a short walk to the beach very clean and lively. I would recommend this hotel anytime.

The rooms are clean, a little small, but they have everything you need for your stay. However, we were disappointed by the buffet, which is really poor quality with the same dishes every day, which is a bit disappointing considering we're paying quite a lot for the all-inclusive package. I think it’s made for the german/english tourists who don’t eat real good food. Also, the cleaning ladies are very noisy and intrusive. For example, even with the "do not disturb" sign on the door, they still come into your room... Otherwise, the hotel is well located and calm, close to the beach and with lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

One of the first things that I do when booking a holiday is check the reviews and initial Reviews of The Tigaki Beach Hotel were very mixed. You have to factor in those who just moan for moaning sake and then couple that with others who literally are happy with a barn and a bail of hay on the floor. Upon arrival at the hotel check in was a little, slow. The main reason for this is the Tourist Tax that TUI Do not tell you that you have to pay. That is roughly €70 per room per week, so for my family of 5 (who had two rooms) it was €140. This was not detailed anywhere on any paperwork when I booked it with TUI so this did frustrate me a little. Once this was out of the way (and I felt €140 lighter) I was surprised by the hotel condition and the grounds. It has clearly undergone some serious refurbishment and this is evident in the clean communal areas and very well kept grounds around the pool. We were directed to rooms 2205 and 2206 which wasn’t in the main hotel but was in the opposing building which overlooks the pool. Upon entry to the room (which has a shared locked corridor) I was bowled away with the quality of the accommodation considering the price we paid for the holiday. The rooms did have kettles and fridges (despite some of the other reviews saying it didn’t) and I have to be honest if you want to make yourself a cup of tea in 40 degree heat then crack on, but if you don’t, like we didn’t, we used the free bar and this is covered later on. There claims to be 4 pools and to some extent this is correct there are four however two of them are large normal size pools and two of them are children’s pools one of them being for babies or toddlers perfect for all children of all ages. I don’t believe the pools are heated however this isn’t a massive issue because once the sun starts blaring down you are glad of a cold dip. There are plenty of sun loungers and didn’t have an issue in getting one. The all inclusive offering is very good, the food is excellent and the snacks are also very good. I really don’t understand some of the older reviews saying that the food wasn’t fantastic. It was superb and I didn’t have any issues any day and neither did any of the children. The bar is open from 8 am where you can grab coffee, cold drinks, beer and wine which is all available on tap. You can also grab cold coffee and ice cream throughout the day and as much of it as you want. My tip would be to take a cold flask with you so you can pour yourself a beer and it will stay cold as the temperature was touching 40° on most days. From about 6 pm in the evening there are cocktails available and a range of other drinks to suit your taste. The room itself was comfortable very well appointed with excellent facilities. The hotel is opposite a fantastic strip of beach however beware that the Sun loungers on the beach are chargeable at roughly €10 each. Tigaki is a lovely little town and has some lovely bars and shops and well worth a mooch. We didn’t eat there because we had all inclusive, but there was some lovely restaurants. There is also a tour shop in the town and I would recommend that you book any local tours here rather than using the tour operator you flew with because the prices will differ significantly. The three island Cruise is really quite excellent and well worth €120 for five people. There is also a free bus which takes you to the water park “lido” which is a superb water park - but spaces are limited to get there early. Tigaki Beach Hotel is a fantastic location and I would really recommend this hotel to anybody in the future.

If you wanna be among thousands of other tourists, this is the place to go. Not quiet, not clean, not fun. Lots of sunbed squeezed into a very narrow beach. The street through the village getting there is full of junkie gift shops, and expensive food places. Also lots of loud music. We prefer something quieter and less touristic like Lagada Beach on the south side of Kos.

Lovely holiday, the staff are all lovely, very polite and helpful. We had a lovely room with our own sun loungers which was cleaned daily. Food considering it is AI was very good plenty of choice. A few negatives not enough space around the pool for the number of guests and more sunbeds needed. No information in the rooms or reception regarding meal times, bus details etc, there is a button that can be pressed to let the cleaners know whether you would like your room cleaning, it would be good to be informed of this, we found it by chance. There is a TV which is nice but only rolling American/European news channels a channel in English with something other than news would be good. Overall a lovely restful holiday in a great hotel and i would be happy to come again.

This hotel is perfect if you’re after a relaxing holiday by the pool with the option to explore nearby. The location is great – just a 30-minute walk or a quick 6-minute taxi ride (around £8) to the Old Town or Dolphin Square. The staff were absolutely lovely, especially Poppy on reception. She was always happy to help and really went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The restaurant offered a different menu each day, with a wide variety of tasty, high-quality dishes. Our room was clean, comfortable, and included a balcony, which was a nice bonus. There were a couple of small downsides. There weren’t enough sunbeds available unless you reserved one early in the morning, which meant we sometimes had to sit in the bar area instead of relaxing by the pool. Also, all-inclusive drinks ended at 11 p.m., after which you had to pay – something we didn’t expect. There’s no entertainment during the day or evening, so the atmosphere at night was a bit quiet. If you’re looking for nightlife or more of a lively vibe, you’d need to go next door to the bar or head into town or Dolphin Square. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The positives far outweighed the negatives, and we’d definitely consider coming back!

A lovely 4 star hotel about 1 mile from Kos town. We couldn't fault the fiod, both variety and quality, every meal was a delight. The staff were helpful and friendly. We hired bikes front a local bike shop for the week, the ride into Kos was on a cycleway and was flat so easy to complete.

Me and my sister have just got back from our lovely stay the staff were friendly and very helpful from day one the food was exceptional with lots of variety each day was very clean throughout the hotel and the rooms which got cleaned everyday the location of the hotel was perfect as you could hire bikes just a few minutes walk from the hotel from only 5 euros a day! it’s roughly 25 minutes walk into Kos town so not far at all and there are a couple of beaches either end we would definitely recommend staying here as we couldn’t fault it :)

We got special treat as one of us needed gluten free food. The hotel arranged th rooms as to each person need. All with a welcoming smile. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous hotel, lovely grounds kept beautiful growing their own fruits and vegetables. Rooms were nice and kept clean. All pools really nice and good sizes, although understandably busy (we visited in school summer holidays!) Food was lovely, especially lunch and dinner, breakfast could improve and was a bit samey each day. Self service for beer, wine and soft drinks which was great, only thing was this meant if you wanted a different drink eg cocktail the wait could be long as the bar with only one serving. For us, couple of things to improve on… there’s only one ramp which is right next to reception, which means if you have a pushchair or wheelchair you have to go all the way up to reception to then get to the top pool or restaurant for example. Another thing was I requested a cot on my booking, I then emailed a few days before to re confirm and didn’t get a response then didn’t receive a cot for our whole stay. We worked it out but just something to bear in mind if your baby won’t co sleep. Most of the staff were nice, especially the bar man who worked his socks off all day! Reception supervisor was a bit rude to my husband at check out but we all have bad days . Overall a great experience at this lovely hotel close to the beach…. I’d probably say it’s the lower end of 4* but still a great stay and gorgeous hotel !

4* Hotel, fantastic food, the staff never stop working and can not do enough for you. It's clean and tidy and a beautiful location. Loads of food options, inside and out and also has a street food area. I have stayed all over the world and this hotel is just as good as some 5*. We had a late arrival and food was finished, however we had lunch in the fridge. The room is spacious, cool and was all new. Only problem was some families reserving sunbeds, despite signs saying do not. However I told the staff and they removed the towels and allowed other families to use the beds. EDIT* Now returned home, again, unable to find a reason to complain about the hotel, however some guests (Mainly German speaking) are rude, pushing in at the bar or dinner, taking up multiple sunbeds then not using them, letting children run around in the nude at all times of day or night. A small bunch were very rude, but also had no idea I spoke German and have the ability to understand. Last issue is parents letting children run around holding glasses or plates, running around hot food and drinks in the dining area, at least 4-5 plates and or glasses smashed per day due to children that I personally observed, parents, control your children. Also don't forget some people (Stupid English) as we were called understand and can speak your language. Thank you

I find it hard to recommend Casa Paradiso with the underhand practices in place here. We had booked a bungalow but were given a room in the main building with no explanation why and we were not the only people that this had happened too. Mysteriously a few days in our 'booked' room did appear to be available.. but front desk were not helpful in explaining why and pushed it off to the manager who didn't make themselves available. Beware that you might have to fight for your room you've paid for!

Beautiful hotel and really kind staff. We stayed in the family bungalow which had everything you need and always kept clean and tidy. The whole hotel is kept to a good standard and the pools were great, the small children's pool was a hit with the girls Always plenty to choose from for the food and the meal in the restaurant was gorgeous. As mentioned the staff were super friendly and very attentive, always friendly and welcoming. The only negative isn't really on the hotel but the guests and the sun beds, theres signs saying no reserving the sun beds but unfortunately this was done all the time. People putting towls down in the morning and leaving them unoccupied for hours not allowing anyone else to use them. Would love to come back to such a beautiful place.

Amazingly good hotel for the price. The only downside was lack of maintenance and lack of staff. The bar staff are happy to assist and the measures are great. The restaurant staff are over worked and need another 5/10 people to help clear tables and turn them round quicker. When we arrived the toilets at the main pool were fine by the time we left (Aug 25) we were down to 1 urinal male and 1 cubicle. More maintenance staff needed. This didn't lead to queues but needs to be addressed. The shuttle bus to the "beach/town" great only downside is the list goes out at 6pm. The queues start at 5pm to get on it. No issue with sunbeds but if you want the free shuttle be prepared to queue. On the subject if transport. A taxi is 10euro from port to hotel "George" is 15euro dont use George from the card at reception unless you need to. Do not let the bad reviews get you down unless you only look at the miserable in life this place is cheap and cheerful if they invest in staff it would be great

I hate to say it but this hotel is not a 4 star. Holidays are what you make it but for the price we paid (700 per room for 5 days all inclusive) it's disgusting and severely overpriced. Whilst the swim up pool rooms are OK, the rest of the hotel feels very 2 to 3 star. The older barman is incredibly rude. Not once but twice to my face, and makes you feel like it is a hassle to serve you drinks. I ended up going back to my room as he was so rude. The food is mediocre. The main bar area has a sticky floor. Entertainment crap. Some of the staff (in the shop) are lovely. Reception is also quite rude. I am sure there are many better hotels in the area. If I were you, I would take the reviews as they are... we booked this last minute and didn't really do our research. I wouldn't come back here if it was free!! Very disappointed in the hotel but the island and people are lovely.

If there is one thing you take from this review…. stay well clear of this place!!! We had booked to stay here for 7 days but had to get Jet2 involved to switch our hotel after day 2. Our bed was filled with bedbugs, myself and my partner woke up head to toe with painful bites (I even had an allergic reaction on my face from these bites!!!!) Our bedding was also covered in various stains. Our bathroom was covered in black mould, those in HMP would have a cleaner shower than what is at this place! The staff were really rude and unhelpful apart from the lovely lady who works in the little convenience shop. The bar staff question you if you order more than one drink (I got a drink for both myself and my partner and was told that I am not able to do this but they will “let me off” on that occasion). If your room is up the hill, you will be expected to walk all the way to the other side of the resort every time you want a drink as they only open the main bar and none of the small bars are ever open. My partner got a glass of wine and the glass was visibly filthy, he then took the glass to the manager to complain and the manager took the glass off my partner, stuck his finger in the glass and simply walked off. In the whole time we were there we did not see any of the pools get cleaned once. The food was always served cold even if you were there as soon as the buffet was open and was sometimes not cooked thoroughly. People were getting food poisoning from the food. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle service to take you in to Kos town but I would steer clear as the bus broke down twice on our 7 minute drive into Kos. This was a running issue upon further conversation with other holiday makers. We were not the only people to be transferred to a different hotel during our stay and definitely not the only people who complained. Make of that what you will. It is such a shame because looking at the older reviews this hotel has not always been this way and the views were beautiful but other than that, this place has nothing else going for it.

I recently stayed at Aegean view aqua resort and spa and had a lovely experience. The views were absolutely stunning—you could watch the sunrise and sunset each day, which made the setting feel truly special. There were six pools to choose from, so it never felt crowded, and the variety of food on offer was great throughout our stay. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Our room was clean and comfortable, though we did hear of a few guests experiencing issues with cockroaches—thankfully, the staff responded quickly and offered room changes. There were also quite a few cats around the resort, which added charm, though some did seem to have fleas. Overall, it was a beautiful, relaxing holiday, and with a few small improvements, it could be perfect. I’d happily return and recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay, but a word of warning.. some rooms are over half a mile up hill away from the main bar/dinning area, so people with mobility issues will struggle. Staff very friendly and helpful, decent food and drink, and entertainment was good

We were really disappointed with our stay. Although the hotel is advertised as 4 stars, in reality it’s closer to 2 or 3. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis, but unfortunately the overall experience was far from what we expected. Despite a wide range of choices, most of the food was bland and poorly seasoned. Dishes that were supposed to be served hot were often cold. Many items looked unappetizing in the buffet trays and seemed dry or overcooked. The poolside snacks were very limited and not tasty at all. There were supposed to be themed dinner evenings, but in reality there were none – or maybe one or two at most, and even then the food didn’t reflect the theme. The drinks in the all-inclusive package were extremely sweet, and every bartender made them differently, so there was no consistency. The hotel itself clearly hasn’t been renovated in years. It’s generally not clean, especially around the pools, which also had cold water and no anti-slip strips on the steps. The toilets in the common areas didn’t even have working locks. The hotel beach was dirty and full of trash and cigarette butts – it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. We were supposed to have a room with a double bed, but instead we got two single beds that kept sliding apart. There was also a noticeable lack of entertainment. There was a stage with sound equipment, but it was almost never used. In other hotels we’ve stayed at, there was usually some live music or evening shows, but here there was nothing going on. We’ve been to many Greek islands before, but we’ve never experienced anything this disappointing.

After a week at Smy Kos Beach & Splash, we are back home and I’d like to share my impressions. Cleanliness & Room The room cleanliness was good overall, although the towels were dirty and didn’t smell fresh. The cleaning staff was always friendly and tried their best. The room itself was very small for three people and three suitcases. Hotel & Dining Area For a four-star hotel, I expected something different. In the dining area there were drink dispensers and unstable, uncovered tables. If the tables were covered, the tablecloths were often dirty, and water was dripping from the air conditioning on the ceiling. The buffet often offered the same dishes, and unfortunately it was easy to see how much food was being wasted. The evening chefs, Khan and Qasim, were very friendly and always tried to do their best. Overall, most of the restaurant and bar staff were friendly, but the reception staff were rather unfriendly and uninterested – except for Ilias and Alex, who were fantastic and always had a smile on their faces. Environmental Concerns What I really disliked about this holiday was the massive amount of plastic used in the hotel. It felt like time had stood still, as if they didn’t know how harmful plastic is for the environment. Plastic straws, single-use plastic cups – and I don’t mean reusable ones, I mean the kind you use once and throw away. Plastic cups were seen everywhere – on the floor by the pool, even in the pool. Instead of ashtrays, you’d be given a plastic cup with a little water inside. Entertainment & Animation We really enjoyed the animation team. There was plenty of daytime entertainment, but you could easily avoid it if you preferred. In the evenings, there was always a one-hour show, which was absolutely fantastic. The animation team led by Matilde was sensational – super friendly, professional, and always in a good mood. Especially Piotr, Emma, and Federico were incredibly friendly. The shows that Matilde plans and choreographs are an amazing achievement. Also, the sound and evening atmosphere created by DJ Laris were top-notch! Conclusion Thank you for the wonderful week. With less plastic, more cleanliness in the dining area, and some modernization, we might come back.

7 night stay at end of Sept 2025, block B Junior Suite. Overall we had a perfectly pleasant stay, the hotel has some really good points and some areas for improvement. Pros: 1. Location of hotel and our block is excellent for the beach, which is miles and miles long, perfect for long walks on soft sand! The beach is also peaceful and no noise pollution from water sports. 2. The hotel setting was pretty, they take excellent care of the grounds, the plants and trees are beautiful. 3. Food was nice when it was freshly cooked at the restaurant, such as grilled fish, pork, fresh spaghetti in cheese wheel, roast duck. Their desserts, specifically the baklava were great. 4. Cleaning staff and restaurant staff really friendly and ready with a smile! 5. Well maintained pool areas 6. 15 minute walk to Lido waterpark and convenient for buses into nearby towns 7. Generally good location for amenities, 20 min from airport and about 20-30 mins to loads of historic sites by car. Things the hotel could do better on: 1. Some of the reception staff could do with some customer service training, they seemed very fed-up and we felt unwelcome on arrival. 2. Drainage around block B was smelly 3. 7am every morning the cleaning staff were very loud and shouting by the back of the pool bar which was irritating when trying to catch up on rest. 4. Cleanliness levels were not up to a good standard, the bathroom in particular needed a very good clean and our kettle had not been checked (people before us had left coffee grounds in the kettle and it wasn't rinsed). Cups were only replaced once during our stay. Although they did a good job of cleaning floors and replenishing towels and loo roll, often we didnt have enough towels for 2 people. 5. Landline phones in the room were dead so there was no way to call reception, in the end I would rather not have to deal with reception anyway. I would recommend the hotel for its location and overall amenities including on-site car rental service and excursions. I would like to point out to the hotel that having a welcome arrival with information provided to us at check-in on hotel amenities and timings for meals etc would have made a huge difference.

This is our second consecutive year at this hotel, and I can assure you it's a pleasure to stay here. Luxurious, clean, with respectful and professional staff. Bravo, it's just perfect! A special message for the animation team: we loved you. This team is there all day for guests, and they put on magnificent shows in the evening! Stayed for 7 days, 2 adults (wife is pregnant). Room - Junior Suite All Inclusive Overall a very pleasant experience. Shout out to the Entertainment Superstar Elena, who brought fun and energy every day, engaged amazingly with all guests, and cannot be faulted. Food was great quality, varied, plentiful and fresh. Chefs/waiting staff polite, always greet you, quick to clear plates. Cleaning staff always smiley, and did a fantastic job cleaning the rooms daily. Room: junior Suite - Only down side is air con is on a timer for all rooms, you can pay to upgrade but in my personal opinion, air con should be included as standard, even with a "fair usage" policy off needed. Besides that, room was modern, shower had high pressure, great temp (can get very hot, be careful), good view from balcony, very comfy bed, pillows etc, flat screen TV, tea coffee kettle included. 2 pools, both clean, plenty of sun loungers, had the sun all over for most of the day, close to bar (shout out to Stathis, top barman!) Overall: would recommend. Did not experience anything mentioned in any negative reviews.

This was hands down one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. The so-called “entertainment” was nothing more than an excuse for the entertainment manager to be rude and openly single people out in front of the crowd – uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. When I raised the issue, management couldn’t have cared less. In fact, they were dismissive and made me feel like I was the problem for complaining. Furthermore, she refused to allow me to partake in activities, shouted at me on more than one occasion and is extremely sexist towards men. The drinks were just as bad – cheap, watered down, and barely drinkable. You’d get better quality from a corner shop mixer. On top of that, some of the staff were outright rude, with zero interest in basic customer service. It felt like we were an inconvenience to them just by being there. Overall, the place wasnt what i had expected. If you value your money, your time, and basic respect, stay far, far away from this hotel.

WOW what an amazing hotel in a great location. Room was clean and comforable. The entire hotel was spotless and cleaned every day The staff were absolutely outstanding and couldn't do enough for you. The food choice was great and varied The entertainment was excellant. Couldn't fault the hotel in any way All the staff were amazing but 2 members deserve a special mention. Kelly at reception went above and beyond what I would expect her to do I injured my knee doing Greek dancing on day one. She went and made an ice pack for me and when the swelling went down she gave me directions to the nearby pharmacy who were very helpful and gave me the tablets I needed. Within 2 days I was totally pain free to enjoy the rest of my holiday. The other person who deserves a special mention is Elenor. She was the Queen of entertainment and brought so.much fun and laughter during the day and early evening before outside entertainers came to the hotel to wow the guests

Great overall experience! The location of the hotel was great and includes a car park. Also can’t complain about the food or the rooms. What stood out the most was the service we received from Christos, who always greeted us with a big smile and made us feel very welcome from day one. Christos even went above and beyond by making us some traditional Greek coffee which tasted amazing. Thank you Christos and Diana Palace for a great stay!

We had 55 guests join us at our amazing week at the white olive elite hotel in Zakynthos for our wedding, and what a week it was! The hotel was so helpful with luggage, allergies with meals and just all round a friendly bunch. The rooms and hotel felt very clean every day we were there, and nice and spacious. The all inclusive buffet was great, catering for friends and family with allergies and other needs. Food was generally hot and fresh and also quite varied which I liked. The location was ideal for us, just a 5min walk away from the beaxh and around a 10min walk to town and the strip. So if we wanted to go somewhere more lively it wasn't too far. The pool area was also great, with good snacks and drinks on offer. All inclusive drinks were fine, although they did do premium cocktails for a bit extra which were amazing! The hotel felt very safe as there was always security there at night. The hotel even provided some nice wine and a fruit platter to the room for us on our wedding day! I think all our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing I would say was that when you were outside by the pool, there wasn't that many toilets close by, especially if you were less able but there were some about 2 mins walk away for most guests. Thanks for an amazing stay and wedding week to remember!

We spent a week in this hotel in September 2025. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and also smaller and cozy, which I liked for Greece. The room was fine, quite a standard one – I wouldn’t classify it as 5 stars, but still, it was okay. The view wasn’t great, but we didn’t spend time on the balcony anyway. I liked that everything was connected to a touch display, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the cleaning was always done well. The food was varied and tasty, although I still missed a few things. We wanted to have a proper traditional Greek gyros for lunch or dinner, but it was never served. Yes, there was a small plate in the snack bar, but it wasn’t the authentic Greek one. At breakfast, I missed some fruits like watermelon or pineapple – there was only hard sour fruit that wasn’t really edible, but otherwise breakfast was fine. Lunch was also good. Dinner probably had the most variety and the biggest selection, so I would say the all-inclusive service at this hotel was overall fine. I was a bit disappointed that there was hardly any entertainment at the pool. The animators came around just a few times in the whole week and only asked if anyone wanted to play darts. We never saw any aqua aerobics or other activities in or outside the pool, so the animation program was quite weak. On the other hand, I liked how everything was comfortable, quiet, peaceful, and cozy at the hotel – maybe a bit more entertainment would have been nice for others, but the calm atmosphere suited me. At the pool bars, there was a menu with alcoholic cocktails, which were tasty, but if you wanted something like a mojito, you had to pay extra. I was a little disappointed with the attitude of some of the bar staff at the pool – sometimes it felt like they didn’t even want to be there, and often they didn’t smile at all. On the other hand, I really liked the blonde lady who always greeted guests in the hotel restaurant with a lovely smile. The reception staff were also pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the Greek night on Saturday by the pool – that was very nice. Overall, I would rate the whole week positively: the hotel is beautiful, the food tasty, the pools great. We really enjoyed our stay – thank you for a wonderful week.

A week of vacation spent at the White Olive Elite Laganas hotel was wonderful. Excellent food, well-kept territory with plants, clean room that is cleaned often. Two swimming pools for relaxation and 300 meters to the sea beach with turtles. Very good location of the hotel on the edge of Laganas - so the nightlife is not heard, the widest beach and turtles nearby. I definitely recommend the hotel for a family vacation.

We stayed here in June and had a great vacation! I'm convinced this is one of the best hotels on the island - new, clean and with enough sun beds for all guests. Rooms were cleaned daily and service was excellent. Some guests from an island nation were loud at night, but I still slept well. Highly recommend!
