I have traveled all through Egypt for 6 years, and el gouna twice.
The place in nice, the more approachable place in red sea from cairo.
The rooms and the atmosphere are perfect.
But the service should be better. It is suffering from trained personnel ranging from bar man to water sport facilities.

It was a fantastic vacation. Starting from check in, through all my stay. The location is beautiful and so peaceful.
Room was nice, spacious, fresh, with a nice terrace with beautiful lagoon view. Breakfast was very good with lot of options, dinner was quite good too.
On the down side, spa was absolutely bad,my worst massage ever, and a pointless coconut scrub . Really cant understand how this can be a sheraton spa, clearly no training is required/provided for the masseuse. Also sales staff continusly boder on the beach while relaxing, offering services
Overall is was a great stay and would defenetly like to return!

This hotel provides magnificent conditions for your vacation. It is a 5 star all inclusive facility beautifully designed based on ancient Egyptian architecture.
Excellent food, very comfortable rooms and exceptional service.
We would like to highlight the front office manager and staff, and especially staff in the Miramar restaurant and bar.
Joseph and Moussa from Miramar restaurant treated us as family, same as the bar staff Mohand, Toka and Refa.
And special thanks to Ehab from the family beach - he was always there for us. They all made our stay enjoyable, relaxing and an overall pleasure. This surely is a hotel we would love to come back to.

The resort is very nice. Lots of greenery, lagoons, and the environment is very calming.

The hotel is fantastic. The service is especially great. All the staff is very friendly and attentive.
We particularly enjoyed sitting in the Pharaoh's Bar in the evenings. Besides a pool table and board games, they offer handmade cocktails made by the bartender, Aysam. We sampled our way through the menu, and every single cocktail was amazing. Aysam is incredibly kind; he greeted us warmly every evening, taught us a few words of Arabic, and mixed cocktails just for us, tailored to our tastes.
Also the Animation Team is very friendly, funny and offers great acticities such aus foam parties, sports and bike rides through downtown. If you want to have a fun time, go and check them out.

I highly recommend this hotel and RedCSports (Ingy and Moon - who organized everything for us). It has everything and the staff are amazing. The sports equipment in the hotel is properly maintained (eg good table tennis rackets and balls) and the staff are always eager to help in any way they can. The food is simply incredible - I have never been to an all inclusive resort like this which puts an effort on quality. The other great thing about this hotel is that it has something for everyone - if you want action and lively atmosphere or quiet and secluded, the hotel caters to your needs
I short, this was the most amazing holiday I have ever had - I cannot fault any aspect of it - it was simply perfect. Highly highly recommended from a very seasoned traveler. Don’t bother looking elsewhere in El Gouna - just come here!

My Partner and I arrived on the 11th of April and are here for 10 days!
As soon as we arrived we haven’t lifted a finger, the transfer dropped us off, the security looked after our bags and we checked in with reception staff who were so informative with our stay.
They upgraded our room for free to in the middle of the resort, right next to the main pool and the absolutely amazing hotel entertainment staff. We arrived late evening and still had time for the buffet which has the most amazing selection and so much option from Meat to fish to so much selection of salads and desserts!
During the day the Hotel has boards up with the schedule of the activities throughout the day with the amazing, lovely, friendly entertainment team.
Mimi, Sam, Tof and Ge have the best upbeat vibe that brings everyone energy up, they make sure everyone is included and involved with every activity!
You can tell they are big family and they make you a part of the family, we are only on our 4th day out of 10 and we already think we may extend !!
To all the staff and team we appreciate you so much for making our Holiday !

The weather can make or break a beach holiday, so if you’re considering your holiday time based on the likely sunshine and temperatures, here’s an idea of what you can expect:
- January and February are the coolest months compared to the rest of the year at 9-22°C.
- There is a boost in temperature in March, reaching 13-24°C.
- There is a rather large 4°C rise in April to 17-28°C.
- The weather breaks past the 30°C mark in May, reaching 21-31°C.
- June is the true start of the Summer temperature, hitting 23-33°C.
- The peak weather happens in July and August at 25-34°C.
- The temperature begins to decline slightly in September, sinking to 23-32°C.
- October is when the temperature drops back to below the 30°C, at 19-29°C.
- November is the last month before winter and it shows at 15-26°C.
- December brings the year to a close with a cold (by Egyptian standards) 11-22°C.
