We've been before and going again soon. The room was clean and maids in often enough. Last time, we got a full board deal and found food to be fine, plenty choice, but you'll still want to eat it occasionally.The restaurant is right in the basement really, but the decor is nice with palms and plants etc in a lovely setting, very spacious and airy. The onsite shop just off reception was helpful if you are self-catering, but everything is up to all inclusive if you want it. Location is OK, but not right in the very heart of things, but not that far off, really. Staff are great and very helpful. The pool area is nice, and the pool is well kept pretty good sun trap. Occasionally, a little fashion show turns up, and sales thereafter. There are lifts to all floors, wheelchair access, too. As I said, we're going back, we know what to expect, if it was bad, we wouldn't go. I'm looking forward to our stay there. It's three stars, and good enough as it's a base camp, really, rooms have everything you might need. Hope this is helpful to you..

Rooms were clean and also cleaned regularly which was nice. Balconies are great and most have a nice view. No a/c or fans in the room unless you pay extra at reception for a fan which in my opinion should be included in a place like this. The pool is beautiful with lots of loungers but you need to be early to get one. The pool bar is also conveniently to the outside until a certain hour so you dont need to dry off before going there. Very spacious hotel.

Overall… The hotel is okay! Being a 3-star budget hotel, you get what you pay for and it seems some snobby people do tend to forget this. It’s in a great location, staff are really friendly and helpful, and it has everything you need - Shop, bar, pool etc. and the rooms are cleaned regularly. However, there are a few things that you need to be aware of and could be improved: - No AC in the rooms. You need to hire a fan from reception, which is a little pricey considering. - We did get quite a few cockroaches coming in and out throughout our stay. It may just be a local problem, but preventative measures could be put in place. - The food definitely could be improved and we understand everyone’s disappointment in this department. It seemed to be very hit or miss. I have to follow a GF diet, and sometimes I was really struggling to find things to eat. My partner (who practically eats anything) also said the food was disappointing. It is very plain and simple, but as I mentioned you do get what you pay for. I feel that if they give the food department a better budget and effort, it would definitely improve the overall experience. - The corridors are weirdly dark. Walking around, to and from the ‘rooms area’ is very poorly lit. The lights turn off after about 15 mins so you have to press them yourselves as you’re walking around, and they’re not even that bright. I feel like this could be a small change to make a big difference too.

Hotel rooms were clean. Cleaners come every two days who were really polite and helpful. The shop in the hotel was okay for price and the staff were all very understandable. This hotel is mainly for group holidays age ranged 18-25. Didn’t see one child whilst we were there but everyone at the hotel was very lovely. About a 5-10minutes walk to the Veronica’s strip

If I was 20 years younger then yes this would be ideal,it's more geared to young adults.very loud at night and because our room was facing the road on 1st floor we were awake most of the night by young revellers coming home from nights out and then by delivery trucks early morning. The rooms are adequate bt when we arrived floor's were dirty and hadn't been swept.rooms are more like a rundown hostel. Reception area is mank,old stained chairs and filthy floors. No Internet even when u pay 20 for week,20 for remote control and only 2 english channels. Only thing going for this hotel is location and has a nice pool

Great 4-star hotel in Tenerife! Rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday. No tea/coffee facilities but they are available upon request. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. The hotel facilities (pool, spa and pool bar) were great. It’s a 5-10 minute taxi to the centre of town, costing maximum €10 per trip. Close to Siam Park and Siam Mall, both within walking distance but would recommend a taxi. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would recommend for young adults as can be quite loud at night but unavoidable.

I stayed here for a week. On the first night, struggled to sleep on a ground floor hotel room due to guests constantly moving around above making loud noises. After asking at reception. Staff were willing to move us to another room. Our new room was perfect, and had no problems at all after moving. The staff on reception are all extremely hospitable and friendly. The area around the hotel is beautiful, surrounded by green gold courses and natural terrain. The only downside being you have to walk around 10-15 minutes along a main road to get to the town centre, or a short taxi ride, around €4-7. This is not a problem if you don’t mind doing so. The room features are basic, but contains the simple amenities such as hair dryer, safe etc. I did notice a few maintenance issues such as wonky balcony railings, handles on the balcony doors were loose and the fire sprinkler was loose also. The hotel grounds however all seemed extremely clean and looked after, which was nice. Maybe they need to pay more attention to the rooms as I have seen other reviews detailing similar issues. As for the food, it was ok, there was plenty of choice and some nights were better than others. Not all the food looked great but there was always something which I didn’t mind eating. I think this is always the case with any all inclusive buffet. All In all I really enjoyed this hotel and the stay and would come back. Better than some other hotels in the area. Just a few small issues but nothing major. Very nice stay and would recommend!

Not long back from staying here for 8 nights. When I first went to reception to check in the woman behind the desk told me my room had been cancelled since March ! She couldn't tell me much more just that it had been cancelled and was nothing to do with them. I waited for other guests to leave the desk and went back to speak to her and she ended up giving me the key and denied saying it was cancelled although everyone heard her. Not a nice start to the holiday and very unprofessional of the receptionist . Room was nice and big, and had a big balcony. The food was very disappointing. We where full board, so we got one free drink at lunch and none at dinner, so if you get one you need to pay. I'm not that fussy of an eater but I didn't enjoy the food apart from the omelettes at breakfast . I think the food is more catered for Spanish people. Two nice big swimming pools , cleaners out cleaning to chairs every morning and the spa is nice aswell. Communication from staff apart from maybe one isn't great at all, they don't understand much your saying so it can be difficult at times. We also had issues with cleaners not cleaning the room some days, had to go to reception for towels and on a couple of occasions the lady wouldn't give fresh towels until the cleaner arrived, which was a couple of hours later. Overall I enjoyed the Asian restaraunt the most. I ended up eating here a few of the nights because the buffet wasn't great .

We stayed in a suite that was ok but not outstanding. The cleanliness could have been better, the bathroom door didn't close properly. Finding the room was confusing, and the walk was quite far for a 4-star suite. On the positive side, the outside area is fantastic. The pools are amazing with plenty of beds nearby and warm water. The terrace bar was okay, and while the food was on the expensive side with smaller portions, it tasted great. The location is a bit off, but parking is convenient, and the breakfast was amazing.

Palm beach, it's a older hotel that needs a touch of love. Rooms: Nice Size room, I slept great on the bed. I don't mind the music outside at night, but beware, there are loud pubs playing till 4u (I still sleep with window open). Nice vieuw of the sea! Bathroom is old and needs to be renewed. But everything works perfectly. Balcony haves a lovely size. Hotel: nothing special, but clean. Needs a update aswell. Nice (and clean) pool. Lot of space. Food: breakfast was good, the dinner at night is not great. I would suggest too take only breakfast here and eat outside. Overal, Nice cheap hotel. No Luxury resort, but you don't pay for that either.

Overall positive experience. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was larger than I had expected. Beds were comfortable although overall furniture was quite dated. Location is excellent and services (including a small supermarket) were very convenient. Staff were very pleasant and professional. Negative aspects included seeing roaches (which seem to be everywhere on island) and the entertainment at pool which was so loud if you were trying to relax in room.

I recently stayed here and while it was a pleasant experience, I wouldn't choose to stay here again. Upon arrival, the rooms hadn't been cleaned properly; there was hair everywhere, including on the sheets and beds, making it quite dirty. However, the staff promptly addressed the issue and cleaned the room while we were out. The rooms are somewhat dated and the resort is quite noisy, making it more suitable for young travelers than families. On the positive side, the staff were very pleasant and the location is excellent. With some improvements, this place could achieve much higher ratings.

Ideal location 15 minutes walk into las Americas and the same for Costa Adeje. Staff are really nice in the hotel, rooms were clean. We got a nice room on the 9th floor which had a pool and beach view which was nice to have. The food was nice too we only ever had breakfast there. They rent the beach towels to pay €5 at the start of the week and then €1 for every time you replace it so still worked out cheaper than buying one in the shops. Nice little games room with a pool table and that. And they had a jacuzzi and stuff by the pool. 2 min walk to the beach only. Nice cafes and pubs around the general area too. If we go to Tenerife again we will stay in palm beach cause it was ideal for us.

We came here to celebrate a birthday, first day we arrived and my partner left his phone at the desk, receptionist (blonde women) proceeded to steal the phone, tell us she cant access the cameras and after we told her we were going to call the police to access them she told us she found the phone and someone else had handed it despite there being NO other person in the lobby at that time. after this whole incident our room had a leak and the floor was covered in water, they did fix this quickly however the whole experience was overall pretty bad. i will say that the hotel manager ( not sure that this is his title he just booked our activities ) was a very pleasant and helpful guy. would not recommend booking here.

We arrived back in Wales at 1am Saturday 31st August after an 11 night stay at the Gala Hotel. What a holiday. It was perfect from start to finish. And any minor problems were dealt with immediately without any attitude from staff. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff we met but our cleaner of room 563 was fabulous and Joel behind reception. We can't big this hotel up enough to be honest as we didn't have any complaints. And considering it's supposed to be so close to the strip, it wasn't noisy once you closed your balcony door and we didn't have one police incident the whole time. The all inclusive system is all by card so you don't have to wear a band on your hand. And all staff are polite and I could order as many drinks at a time as I wanted, and was not limited to one at a time by each person.

The hotel was okay. We got a room downstairs, no view at all. Next to the path where all trucks drove, at 4 a.m. the trash was picked up, glas was brought to the trash at night and in the morning, sleeping was not really easy. We did pay the same price for a bad room in the hotel and we did not even get a warning about the placement when we checked in. The room was okay, the bathroom could use some renovation. The Check-In was easy and the people at the reception were nice. The buffet: it was big enough but always pretty similar. Breakfast was always the same except for some small changes. There were a lot of times where food was empty and did not get refilled a very long time, especially 1h or even 1 ½h before "closing". The waiters were nice. Pool: Not enough loungers and sun shade. The cocktails were not that good and the bartenders often seemed annoyed about ordering specific cocktails. The hotel was at a pretty good spot, it was loud due to the party mile but that should be clear after some research in advance. They had a special path to the beach which was a good shortcut and only took 3 minutes to get to the beach. Animation was okay, could have been better. Overall it was okay but absolutely not 4 stars.

So I’m currently here on a family holiday half board and I want to be totally honest with this review. So the rooms are ok tidy well presented If you have a car it’s 10euro per day parking. The food is not very nice and all drinks you must pay for which is fine but we are half board so you would expect a water with your meal not great if your on a budget. Staff mostly rude apart from reception especially in the dinner breakfast is not great either but you can have a drink with this. Everything else you need to pay towels safe etc.. The Reason for this review is the staff are getting kids to do reviews and telling them what to write and give good ratings when in fact it really isn’t that great for the money also have to pay for indoor pool.

I'm still at the hotel now. The best bit about the room is the shower! Beds are like planks of wood with sheets on! This is definitely not a 4 star. It's more like 2 stars. Food is basic, even when eating out. Noisey outside till 4am. Bring your ear plugs. The pool is nice but busy. (Obviously its school holidays) Would not recommend this place if you want a relaxing holiday. It's hard work!

Such a disappointment to have to leave this review. The hotel itself we found to be pleasant , well decorated and finished and quite grand in appearance. The location is in close proximity to a busy nightlife should you wish to partake. For the most part we the majority of the staff to be pleasant and helpful , however this is where things take quite nose dive due to the discovery of a very serious and ongoing health risk. The restaurant is infested with cockroach activity of which the majority is located in and around the kitchen door entrance, a strong indication of a very heavy cockroach infestation. Cockroaches and food is an extremely serious matter, they spread Salmonella amongst other bacteria at worst causing Diarrhoea to name just a couple. Throughout the start of our week long break I discovered a handful of cockroach activity in and around the restaurant within the middle section of the tables. As the week went on I found it continued with one even crawling on my leg. We did not eat in the restaurant for two days after this and tried to return for breakfast on Saturday. It was at this stage I discovered the extent of the problem with high levels of cockroach activity evidence by the faecal matter in which they had nested. It was at this stage I raised the issue quietly to a member of reception. The response to this was to provide us with a breakfast voucher to eat at the sister hotel , Hotel Troya instead. Upon arrival it was clear this was a downgrade in terms of food choice in which this hotel too had cleanliness concerns in which young cockroaches were found near the coffee machine. I expressed my concerns and met with the 2nd in command manager the following Day on the Sunday. He expressed understanding and compassion and explained the hotel receives pest treatment on a weekly basis, I explained it may well do however it either isn’t working or is not frequent enough. He suggested we discuss the matter with the most senior manager the following day. By this point we had not eaten within the hotel since Thursday after Saturdays failed attempt at breakfast. The following day we met with the female manager who was extremely rude and dismissive of the situation as a whole. She smirked and chuckled when I explained my concern and her offer to resolve the problem was to “wipe” our bar tab of €45 and offer us a late checkout equating to €65. The explanation given was that the additional cost for an evening meal when staying at the hotel was €3 so therefore this would make up for more than that. I explained it was not possible to find anywhere on the island for an equivalent meal for this price neither was it possible to walk in off the street and pay that price to eat at the hotel. The reasoning was completely irrational. The biggest point I raise here is that rather than appease me and my partner the hotel or At least hotel manager did nothing to resolve the root cause of the problem which was to address the cockroach infestation , protecting the health of all of the guests not just ours. It was not treated as an emergency in which it should have. The attitude and level of understanding of pests in and around the kitchen area especially cockroaches should not be underestimated. I declined the hotel managers not so generous offer and we paid our tab and checked out at 12:00. After this I returned straight to the restaurant and took the video attached. I walked into the restaurant randomly for 3 days of our holiday and found cockroach activity in and around the exact same areas. We have no other choice but to share this review in the hope that others take care when eating here and with the hope that at the minimum the hotel take action to protect other guests. We will take our evidence also to our holiday agent with the view to be compensated for the days we did not deem it safe to eat at the Hotel. I’m only able to upload a 30 second video to highlight the matter however don’t take my word for it, review it for yourselves.

Book a last-minute 7-night B&B stay here with my family (2 teenage boys). Arrived midday, so rooms weren't ready, but we knew this beforehand( the room was ready about 2:30 pm). Alfredo checked us in and gave us the rundown on the hotel, mealtimes, and pools etc, he even called our transfer company( several times that week) to see if they had found my sons bag he left on the bus 🤦‍♂️. Room was a 2 bed 2 story terrace (cleaned every day by the awesome cleaning staff) photos attached. Pools were decent size, and lifeguards were not too strict. They told people off when they needed to. Animation team were good from what we saw. The location was a little bit away from the beach, and the main areas, there was a free bus to and from the beach and Siam every day. Taxi was about 7 Euros to most places or loads of scooters to hire. There is a bit of a steep hill up to the hotel, but perfect to get your steps in. The shopping centres are about a 20/25 minute walk, We upgraded to all-inclusive twice during our stay (€45 per person), which was worth it for the 2 pool days we had. Food was decent with a good variety breakfast was worth having every day. The reception, bar, and restaurant staff were all awesome, happy, friendly, and extremely helpful, genuinely nice people. We would stay here again as it is close to the airport, Siam Park, and Karting club Tenerife. Cheers for a great week in the sun 🌞 😁.

Beautiful hotel. Views and the layout is very picturesque. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Entertainment is average, very good at getting the crowd involved and keeping it entertaining. Food was good. Rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. Need more activities for older kids.

We spent 6 wonderful nights here and couldn't be any happier. The staff are amazing, rooms spacious and food absolutely amazing. We loved to try different country foods every dinner. Would like to say special thank you to Marina (life guard at kids aqua Park) she made our kids holiday very special, absolutely the sweetest lady. Can't wait to come back here. Thank you!

Had a fantastic week here as a family group with three under 12’s. Staff are really attentive and we found something to eat most nights. Rooms are big, but a little tired, fantastic pools, although be aware they are deep, there are options for very little ones though. All in all a great week.

Stayed with 3 adults and 4 kids for 4 nights. I had called the hotel early afternoon the day of our arrival to ensure they would have our room set up for us since we were arriving very late in the evening. Problem #1 of many: it took the receptionist 50 minutes to check us in. We were the only people at the desk because it was 2300. We did not get keys to our room until 2350. My 4 tired kids were waiting in the car with my mother the entire time. He took copies of our passports and said we are good. Problem #2: We were 7 people and when we got to our room, they did not have sheets, blankets or pillows on the 6th bed, so we were short one place for a person to sleep. I called the receptionist and he said “I’m sorry there is nothing I can do.” So we slept the first night with people sharing beds which resulted in minimal sleep for that night. When I reported this to their manager, they told me “well, you could have slept on the empty mattress in your clothes. You did not HAVE to HAVE sheets or blankets. You were very capable of sleeping on the empty mattress, you just chose not to” …. The manager also accused me of lying saying that the housekeepers said we had sheets we just did not see them. And I definitely searched the entire room for sheets and blankets to avoid the nightmare sleeping arrangement we were facing. Problem #3: the first morning at breakfast, I had just sat down to eat with my family and the host came over and told me I was not allowed to have more than 4 people at breakfast and I needed to go to the reception counter right now. So he made me leave my plate of food and go back to the reception counter where I had already spent nearly an hour the night before. They informed me that they only had 4 people of our 7 checked in and they needed more information before they could allow us to eat the rest of the trip. They also had no idea where the copies of my passports were that the receptionist the night before had taken. So, I had to go back to my room, retrieve all the passports and do the check in a 2nd time. Problem #4: we had booked this hotel because I knew my young kids would enjoy the pools and the small water park they have with the slide. One of my kids is 11. We all went to this water park and the lady working the park told my 11 year old she was not allowed to be at the park because the park is not for kids over 10. There was no one else using the park at the time we were there. My 11 year old helps me with my younger children normally and the lady working there yelled at my daughter to leave the park because she was too old. I asked, “so my daughter is supposed to go off and be alone while I am here with my other 3 kids?!” …. And they said no, she could sit there and watch them but was not allowed in the water at all. I, however, the mother, was allowed to assist my kids in the park…. But my 11 year old was not. So this woman kicked us out of the park, yelled at my daughter and made her cry. Problem #5: the resort claims they offer a free bus to and from Siam park. However, the bus is privately owned and allegedly has nothing to do with the hotel. We took the free bus to Siam. We were outside of Siam park to return to the hotel at 1640. The bus was supposed to come at 1700. The bus does not have signs, and they do not have an area identified to be picked up like every other resort has. when the bus arrived, it stayed on the outer row by the taxi lane, was there for 4-5 minutes and left. We waited 20 minutes, asked the park managers where is the bus for this hotel and which one is it… they couldn’t answer. It was incredibly confusing and we ultimately did not make the bus and had to wait in a 40 minute line to get a taxi back to the hotel. I called the hotel about the issue and they said it was not their problem because it is not their bus….. even though they advertise the bus on their property.

What a wonderful hotel, staff on every level were exceptional. Food was excellent, only used buffet restaurant as was so good. Family of 5, got rooms next to each other, paid for sea view, our room did not get sun but did not spoil our holiday. Very clean and exceptional house keeping. Booked A/I only 2 of us had some alcohol. Worth every penny. Only fault we only stayed 7 nights. Will definitely return. This hotel is a must. Just some ignorant guests who put towels on beds.

Stayed here multiple times as a child and always remember what a lovely hotel it was so thought I would bring my partner. Just as I remembered an amazing hotel! Damion on the front desk went above and beyond for us, what a lovely man. The food was amazing each night and the breakfast was lovely. Great location and lovely rooms! will definitely be back next year!

The animation team, Javier, Marta and Yumara were absolutely fabulous and made the holiday. They were so friendly, helpful and funny. They were the face of the hotel and did an amazing job. The hotel is everything that is needed for a perfect holiday. The rooms were small but more than adequate. They were kept clean and maid service was excellent. The facilities were perfect and never ant issues getting a sun bed. The entertainment in the evenings was superb. The food is typically all inclusive and not always warm. All in all an enjoyable holiday.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The food, in particular, was very good. Every meal was well-prepared and delicious, making the stay even more enjoyable. I was very satisfied with my experience and would recommend this hotel, especially for its excellent food.

The animation team does a very good job, we got to know Laura a little bit. A very vibrant and lovely person with a heart for children. The hotel itself is very neat. Nice food and drinks. To top it all of, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

During our vacation in Tenerife, we spent a week at Apartamentos Caribe. The rooms were incredibly spacious, equipped with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and a balcony. Speaking of the balcony, the view from there was lovely. Although the decor was a bit old-fashioned, it didn't bother us at all. our room was cleaned daily, ensuring a comfortable and tidy stay. Apartamentos Caribe also had fantastic amenities to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed their pool area, complete with comfortable sun beds. Additionally, they had a restaurant where we had breakfast a few times, and the food was decent. To add to our relaxation, we even treated ourselves to massages from the lovely ladies downstairs. The staff at the apartments were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location of Apartamentos Caribe was perfect. Just a short walk down the road, we found ourselves at the beach, which was incredibly convenient. Moreover, there were numerous restaurants and bars nearby, providing us with plenty of options for dining and entertainment. Great value for price.

Cheap self catering apartments, cleaners come and change your linen and the staff are great. Pool is busy but there is space. 5 mins from the beach.

We had a 10 day stay here from the 15th of October to the 25th and we had a lovely time. I was with my daughter (4 months and partner) All staff are extremely lovely and polite - reception staff, maids, and all lifeguards. The lifeguards are very vigilant and extremely helpful. They do ensure no-one is disturbing others by splashing / being nosey in the pool but they do use discretion! For example if people are being loud and having fun they let them carry on but if people are being a nuisance etc they will ask them to tone it down. Rooms were basic but very clean. WiFi was excellent for me at all times. They even provided us with a travel cot (I emailed in advance to confirm) Ten minute walk max to the beach. 24 hr shop next door. Would definitely visit again. Areas for improvement: bathrooms could do with a refresh of grout etc but very clean. Air con would be nice but we made do with the fan. There is a sun terrace on the top of the hotel (7th floor) with lovely views

Very clean everywhere and the personnel wonderful. Not so far from the beach. Just need a deep upgrade like, furniture, TV's Chanells, the kitchen. The WiFi is for free but has a poor and slow connection. Whit a few solar panels can be worm up the water in the pool. The pool showers not working. The lights in the apartment is poor. Across the wall you can hear your neighbours especially in the night.

Had a great time here. Excellent value with a package for two at £600 including flights with Jet2. Possibly this cheap because of covid. Just a few mins walk to the beach. The building was quite old but our room had new sink, loo, and kitchen stuff. Cleaning was excellent. Pool was nice. In summary, recommended but don't expect a wow factor.

Location is good for tourism, but located right next to local bars and tourists screaming on all night are bound to keep you awake, I am writing this review at 1am as I am sat on the balcony listening to a group of tourists practically shouting at eachother. Photos are far from actual rooms and not as advertised. Seemingly no food available from hotel, bear minimum provided in rooms with no air conditioning. Pool and drinks are unavailable after 7pm and no floaters or balls allowed in the pool. Just to top it off, the beds and couches are riddled with bed bugs, had woken up with a rash and bites every night I spent here. It’s a shame as it’s the only downside to an otherwise lovely holiday. would highly recommend paying slightly more for a nicer hotel in the area, even if this means a shorter stay.

I took the "superior studio with solarium" which cost me 298.80€ for two nights. It's not expensive, but also is not cheap..... but it's far away from the photos they are showing on the website. All the furniture is super old from the 80-ies, the studio was not cleaned properly and had some strange odor, and the breakfast is served in another hotel... It's not that terribly bad, but I don't plan on coming back.

For us we had a group of 8 friends and family and we needed to be close by to the beach, cafes, bars and restaurants which we found Udalla Park was in a great location and a short walk to all of these! The rooms were cosy but still very spacious as well has having our own roof space for sunbathing and relaxing. Very good value for money and the staff were very helpful across the whole holiday! No issues with sleep at all comfy and clean rooms!

We couldn't be happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness was a top priority. Our apartment was basic, but it was spotless and offered plenty of space to relax and unwind, making it the perfect home away from home. There is a separate bedroom, a spacious bathroom with a nice shower, kitchenette and lounge, and a wee balcony looking over the pool. AC: There is no air-conditioning, only a fan option, which you need to request a remote for from reception which requires a 50 euro refundable deposit. Bed: The beds are quite firm but we’re a bit heavier then we should be, so like a firm mattress. Safe: There is a safe which you need to purchase a card for, it was cheap, like 2 euros a day. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. Their tips and recommendations enhanced our visit, making us feel truly welcomed. A good feature of Apartamentos Marola Park is its prime location. Just 300 meters from the beach, we could easily enjoy the sun and sea whenever we wished. Additionally, it’s within walking distance of virtually everything in Los Cristianos and Los Americas, making it super convenient for exploring the area’s shops, restaurants, and attractions. Note: There are steep hills and plenty of steps. However, there are also plenty of Motability options, electric scooters (which are great fun), Motability carts for rent and assisted bicycles. There’s also an amazing little shop next door! The charming lady who runs it has lived in the area for many years, and she shared wonderful local insights and stories. We stayed at this hotel for 1 week. For reference we are 3 adults. We arrived on Saturday night at around 2:30am due too flight delays. Upon arrival was greeted by the staff who was relatively friendly. We were given a room but informed that we must check out of this room the following morning by 11am as we needed to move rooms as the hotel had double booked the room we had booked. Upon arrival you are forced to sign a list of rules, not something I've ever had to do at a hotel before. Upon entering the room discovered that there is NO AIRCON in any of the rooms. They do have fans mounted to the ceiling that can be operated via an app [which doesn't work] or by leavingn a €50 deposit which is later returned. The rooms themselves are nice size but are roasting hot unless you order a portal aorcon unit from a local company costing around €80/90 for a week. The next day we were forced out of our room at 11am and told we could not check into the new room till 4pm! We asked for the air con unit to be arranged for our arrival but staff refused to do this until we had checked in. We approached staff rasing a complaint about the hassel they had caused due to poor room management and requested free use of the safe as compensation for there mistake however this was laughed at and the manager could not be more intrested in this request or the hassel caused. The rooms were cleaned daily and new towels and bedding was provided. Staff also complained to a family that the children in the pool were making too much noise at lunch time playing. This was simply not true as they weren't. Whilst here we have heard/seen several other guests having to wait till late in the day to check in as rooms were not ready. We did not have the breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. I'd be cautious booking this hotel as it's not been as streamline stay as I would expect.

Personally I would not stay here again, firstly when we arrived the staff were extremely blunt and told us that we had to wait for our room even though check in was 2pm. We were told that they were unsure on the time the room would be ready and we had to wait until 4pm with no shower and had to change in the luggage cupboard. Most importantly, the staff would knock on our doors every morning and let themselves in to our room to wake us up. I had signed a piece of paper to say we didn’t want the room cleaned as my friend was suffering bad hip pain and didn’t want to be disturbed. 3 members of staff let themselves into our room two days in a row whilst we were asleep in bed! barely any clothes!! And stood there until we woke up to demand to clean the room. I was shocked and very scared. I asked them to leave as I had no clothes on and they brought a translator into the room to tell us we had 15 mins to get dressed before they came into clean. I honestly do not think the staff had any respect for us whatsoever and recommended that if you are young girls do not stay here !!

Great experience at this hotel. The rooms were very nice. The receptionist Ivan was a saint. He went above and beyond with our queries and help. The pool was very nice with a shallow kiddie pool in the corner. It was cute that we would come back to our rooms cleaned with different animal shapes made with the towels. The only issue we had with the room was with the beds, the were on wheels so kept moving around when we turned over in our sleep and was just very annoying as it kept hitting off the headboard when sitting or asleep on the bed. The location is a bit far from the main strip if you have young kids or are a young couple so I would take that into consideration

AWFUL place to stay!!! Nice rooms but the staff are awful, so weird, they let themselves into your rooms in the morning demanding to clean even when you’ve said no thankyou. They are rude and do whatever they please!!! Only nice member of staff is a young man on the front desk who does the night shift I believe his name is stan. The rest are very weird and think they can just allow themselves into your room even though we have paid for our privacy!! Do NOT recommend!!

Very basic rooms, make sure and triple check what you have booked. Reception staff all rude, bar one lady, bar staff friendly. Food edible, wouldn't go half board or all inclusive if staying for over 5 days ,as the food is practically the same every evening. No option to rent beach towels but they promote that they are trying to be sustainable hotel!! Early check out, 11 am. Quite location, family friendly, very clean

I stayed here for 9 nights with a friend in April. We had the best stay here as the location is fantastic. Straight out of the hotel you have shops, bars and restaurants. Couple minute walk to Veronica’s strip. We booked a boat trip to see dolphins across the road which was €40 each for 3 hours this included unlimited drinks and a sandwich. We visited Siam park which you could get a free bus too and back. Monkey park 5 minutes away in a taxi only €10 pp for entry! The only downside to the hotel was the food in the restaurant. The snack food behind the bar was probably the best where they did toasties, hot dogs and some other stuff which I can’t remember! We never had trouble getting a sun bed during the day. The walls are thin so can be quite loud but I think this is just a herbal hotel thing. I would definitely go back but maybe self catering instead as food around the hotel was cheap and would be affordable. You do pay €1 per cup when you go to the bar but get it back when returned. The rooms are very clean too. Overall a nice stay.

Great if you like: lots of people, poolside games & entertainment, busy pools, noisy (often loud swearing) visitors, children running around & a balcony view of the rooms opposite. Great location for cafes, bars, nightlife and shopping. Staff appear to tolerate Brits (possibly had bad experiences?) but non the less hard working although we found the cleaning staff friendly. If (like me)you prefer a quieter relaxing atmosphere this may not be for you. Cannot comment on the food as we were self catering and found wearing a wrist band to show this interesting 🤔 they need to sort out the swipe room keys which are not reliable.

This only got a 1 star because of the location and the room was a nice size. We arrived and our rooms was not ready and was told to leave our suitcases in the pub area where people was drinking and kids playing i asked about a room where they could be locked safely away and got told its ok cos it as camera's, i found the majority of the staff to speak or understand English and was not really interested because of this. We was all inclusive and food was shocking and the beer was like water I asked for an upgrade which they didn't do but was later told you could buy the branded beers and also burgers, pizza etc. Our room never got cleaned once in the week we was there even though we only asked twice after killing cock roaches. You have to get up about half seven in the morning to have any chance of a sun lounger near the pool as people get there and put towels on them then go out all day so we didn't even try, the hotel just wants to make more money from you even though you pay for all inclusive as I said above about food and beer.

Not the worst hotel by any means. The noise from other guests wasn't an issue for us as you expect that in a holiday resort area. Those complaining about that might need to try book their next holiday in an area that isn't a beach party holiday type area such as Tenerife. What I would fault about the place is the ridiculous charges for damages. Such as a broken plastic chair costing hundreds. You can buy these chairs new for £15. No TV signal at all in our room. No air con at all in the room (only a fan which blows the warm air around), but we knew about this from previous reviews anyway. Road noise isn't bad at all, that's just the 7pm bedtime crew that's complaining about their beauty sleep being disturbed. Safes in the room cost extra. Beds were acceptable. For the price, we done okay. Never really spent any time at the hotel other than to sleep and to have a 20 min swim in the pool one day. Just make sure to be respectful and read the paper you're signing on arrival (they actually gave us two terms which both had different pool times on it), this costed us an hour of pool time. Laying having a drink and the lifeguard told us to leave, never even allowed me to rinse the chlorine off myself and insisted I walked into the lobby wet despite the hotel putting a sign at the door telling you not to enter when wet 🤔. Just seemed like he wanted home. Would have been nice to have been told the pool closes in 10 mins then a whistle when it closes. That way you're prepared and you don't need to quickly grab all your things and drinks and evacuate immediately. Felt kind of rude. Apart from that, it was acceptable.

Do not book this hotel You can't fault the staff, but I would not recommend here The room and hotel itself is fine, the problem is the noise from other guests and the road Other guests , mainly large groups of seedy boozy brits abroad , will be yelling at night, blasting horrible dance music on balcony and yelling , swearing loudly by the pool and from their balcony, boozing as soon as pool bar opens, shouting in corridors, etc etc... lobby area having groups of clubbers and drunk british hooligans coming and going from the clubs I've never had worst nights sleep than my time here And the noise from the road ! Holy he'll, you've got motorbikes, loud cars etc roaring past your window.. and the street has hordes of drunk brit youths thinking they're the funniest people on earth shouting, jeering , arguing and yelling all night from the street.

Have just returned from an 8 night stay. The rooms are dated but very clean. The only downside is the lack of shaving socket in the bathroom and no sockets at all in the bedroom. The staff are very polite and friendly. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful holiday then this is the place. The bar and pool area close at six which make for a quiet night if you stop in.

Air conditioning was a ceiling fan. Beds were very uncomfortable. Rooms were clean and functional. Too far from centre of Las Americas, feel as though I've had thorough work-out walking. We were self-catering but there was only a couple of nice eating places nearby. Noisy road outside, if you're light sleeper you'll struggle. Very busy pool area from when it opens at 10am til it shuts at 6pm.

We stayed there for 10 nights and it was better than we expected. The room was large and had blackout curtains which was great. We had a problem with the ac because it wouldn’t work but when i told staff they sent a technician right away! Location is very good and the rooftop area is great. The only thing i could really complain about is that the room was not the cleanest I’ve been in, the floors and walls were quite dirty but overall we had a good stay!

Stayed 2 nights as part of tour of islands. Very quiet hotel away from the busy tourist area at top of main street that lead down to the beach. Appears to be more a business hotel and a lot of sports training students from the college across the road. Buffet style breakfast with lots of options. 15 euros for large buffet style evening meal which was great value. Hotel is a little dated, could do with some new towels and a little care to bathroom fittings but on the whole we had a lovely stay and would return. Beach is around 5mins walk and plenty of shops and restaurants close by.

We came back from a day trip to our room. The electricity was out, when we went down to reception to ask about this. They went yes we know. They failed to inform us. They moved us to a new room, it’s got no lift, doesn’t have a pool side view like we paid for and the doors don’t lock. They advised to use the wooden stick infront of door and this would act as a lock. Absolute joke. The staff are disrespectful, dismissive and no help. We had to go to the sister hotel to speak to a manager. When we got there they advised the manager had finished at 5. Then they took that statement back and said he was in a meeting and can’t do anything today but could maybe visit us tomorrow. We are two young girls who don’t feel safe. The doors to our room don’t lock. That’s a safety concern but they don’t care. Do not book this hotel.

Cannot fault the staff at all at this hotel, we got here and our room was invested with bed bugs, they first came up and sprayed our room and then offered for us to change rooms which was actually an upgrade to previous hence why the grading is a 3 instead of a 1! The hotel is close to most things and if not then taxi’s are cheap enough here!

Only issue we had was the bin men about 1.30/2am . Would highly recommend this hotel ideal location a short walk to the main patch but away from the noise. Will certainly be booking again 😀

Loved it! The hotel/apartment (79) was so spacious , equipped, modern and clean, not much of a view but could see a little. It’s in a great spot where you can easily nip down to the beach within 5 mins as well as go to many of the restaurants near by as well as the one at the front entrance. The staff are so lovely and helpful, the girl at the front desk helped me find my apartment as I couldn’t see in the dark as we arrived at night. I would say if you have mobility issues I would suggest asking for a ground floor apartment as there are many stairs to some apartments like there was mine in 79. At first I thought this would be a challenge for my mum but it actually worked out quite well as we were kind of out of the road and got a bit more privacy. There also is no aircon and can ask the front desk about renting it out, we were lucky in that we were up high and could open the doors and windows in the day. Over all I loved it, there was a lot of different nationalities here and it was great to see a mix of people of all ages, I would 100% recommend

We had an apartment, which was a good size. Nice and clean the food is good and the location is close to the amenities. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom, so it was HOT at night so we had trouble sleeping.

On my arrival, and throughout my stay, the lady at the reception couldn't have been more helpful! (Anna, I believe). Cleaners had big smiles and a fantastic work ethic. Pool bar drinks came strong and fast, with delivery to the sun lounger. The pool area was incredibly clean and well maintained. The room was well equipped for my self-catering needs, although I found myself frequently visiting the front of house restaurant for breakfast and a few meals mid day. The location is ideal, being between Costa adeje and the edge of playa de las americas, gives it the perfect starting point for whatever your plans may be. I'd recommend this place to solo travellers, couples of all ages, and small groups of friends. Thank you for a wonderful time, I genuinely will miss this place. ❤️

Just had a week here Hotel is in a good location for las americas and puerto colon Cleaning was good although towels were very old and need replacing There is no air con in rooms and it’s stiflingly hot even though there are ceiling fans and an upright fan Staff are nice and friendly Pool is quite warm There’s a gym and a laundry €5 per wash there are 2 machines so you can get your laundry done before you go home Would recommend if the heat in the rooms does not bother you The brassarie bar outside was nice good good and priced ok

We had a wonderful holiday here, the apartment was spotless and comfortable for a family of 4, No aircon, but we coped just fine with the ceiling fans. All the staff were very friendly. My kids enjoyed the huge milkshakes which were brought over to you by the bar staff. Pool area was also very clean, and I loved how people weren't reserving sunbeds with towels first thing in the morning. Very chilled atmosphere! Perfect Holiday! .

This is a very nice resort. The staff were excellent throughout our stay. Some of the fittings/amenities maybe a little tired but nothing is too bad. Overall the cleanliness of the rooms and pool is excellent! The staff have made our visit so welcoming. The only downside is the location, highly advised to have a rental car but a taxi to town is about 10 Euro. Another minor complaint that children take over the hot tub area as a playground area. Food is good and reasonably priced. Special mention to the Pool Bar staff, very nice people!

Very good hotel overall, with nice pool and nice apartments. It is very kids friendly, there are activities for kids, a playground and a mini golf with a shallow river. We recommend it for families. Also, there is an outstanding massage service right in the hotel, if you have the chance to book with Michelle, go for it, she is amazing! The one thing that could be improved is the breakfast that is really basic, but it's the only negative point.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was very large and had everything you needed , and a large balcony to relax on. I cant recommend this hotel enough .

The pool is heated so around 24 C and the Jacuzzi 28 C The apartment we got was big with 2 bedrooms and no problems with the interior. What didn't you like about the property? The apartment was a bit dirty and you can tell that this property overall needs desperately maintenance. It had so many rewards until 2019 but it seams like it hasn't been maintained since.

This was our 4th visit to Tenerife and our first time staying at Sol Tenerife. Sol Tenerife consists of two large tower blocks and depending on which side of the blocks you stay decides what you will hear in the evening. On one side you will hear music from Veronica's and on the other side you will hear karaoke from Leonardo's. For us not a problem but some people may find the music too loud and it does go on till about 4am. The rooms were clean and tidy and were cleaned everyday with towels replaced, the only issue was plug sockets as there are only two. We just unplugged the TV and used it for charging devices. The breakfast was standard buffet style with a mix of fry up, continental and lots of fruit and sweet treats. The reception staff are friendly and were very quick to help when needed, we had a problem with a key card and someone came to fix the reader on our door 5 minutes after we had spoken to reception. They have 3 pool tables, a table tennis table and tennis court. The entertainment crew were friendly and funny. There are 2 main pools open till 7pm but no balls or floats are allowed. One issue is the sunbeds, for the amount of guests the hotel can house it does not have enough sunbeds. If your not up for the morning run to secure a bed then you will probably not get one as many guests put their towels on the beds at 8.30 then disappear for the day. If you want a hotel that is in the middle of the hustle and bustle and right next to the beach then this is the place.

Visited march 2023- review based on then Sol Tenerife is a dated hotel in need of a spruce up. The staff here are lovely and the food is alright. What lets the place down is the dated rooms, lack of noise deadening (even from within the hotel you can hear the rooms next door far too much especially in the bathrooms) I’m not going to complain about location noise, if you book a hotel right next to the Veronica’s strip you should know what you’re in for in that respect. Unfortunately during my stay due to the lack of a lifeguard, a man had sunk to the bottom of the pool unnoticed. When a lady spotted him the entertainment staff did not hesitate to jump straight in and pull him out. They immediately began CPR and called an ambulance. After a long while of shouting and screaming the ambulance arrived. I have no idea if the man died or not, he was unresponsive when he left so we don’t know. This was a traumatic experience to watch and it should not have happened. Where were the lifeguards supervising the pool? This is a family hotel, health and safety precautions need to be taken and they need to be stricter. I would still like to give credit to the fantastic entertainment and bar staff who did make a lot of our stay entertaining, but I shall never return to this hotel.

Me and my partner stayed at Sol Tenerife hotel for 7days for a holiday . My first impression was good . They have good enough food , drinks,entertainment ,what I didn’t like is that I found cockroaches in my room and I also heared other people complaining about cockroaches in their rooms , the rooms are full of cockroaches couldn’t get no sleep , and by the way if you are coming here with a family with kids just don’t because the noise outside is bad and you wouldn’t want your kids sleep in a room full of cockroaches. The staff cleans the rooms but I don’t think the staff cleans the rooms properly because I only saw them using a broom instead of a hoover which would be more effective for getting cockroaches out . This hotel is okay for couples only and for people who want to party. This hotel is a 4 star hotel , the food deserves 4 stars but the rooms full of cockroaches deserve 1 star . Over all I’d give this hotel 3 stars or less . The location is pretty good because you are a few minutes walk away from shops , restaurants and bars and more .Here are some proof or cockroaches in the room crawling about !!

I feel the hotel is a bit dated and some renovations would give it keep it at a 4 star hotel, it's also located very close the the strip so noise is a bit of an issue while trying to sleep. The spread of food in the morning is brilliant. The main reason I am giving 4 stars is due to its exceptional staff, everyone was friendly, helpful and just brilliant all round. The staff are a credit to this hotel.

Me and my mum stayed here for a week all inclusive, the rooms were so clean and tidy, bed was changed 3 times while we were there. room was cleaned everyday and always had fresh towels. the food was enjoyable with plenty of choice, the choice of drinks that were included in all inclusive was surprising as staying in an all inclusive hotel before you are restricted on drinks. prosecco and cocktails were all included in the all inclusive. the beach was right behind the pool area with a gate leading out to the beach, the strip, bars and restaurants were literally a 2 minute walk. would definitely go again!!

Great appartments, location couldn't be any better. We stayed bed and breakfast the food was good quality buffet food with a varied choice. Snack bar food again was fresh and reasonably priced. Rooms cleaned daily Staff were all friendly and polite The lifeguard is strict with people playing with balls and no inflatables in the pool ( not a bad thing ) meaning people could swim and enjoy the pool.

Booked through booking.com and got room 211. Search 'duplex in complex andorra'. This was not on classed as Hotel Andorra but the private apartments and it was amazing. But coming back to what we seen to this hotel seemed good, the receptionist was so happy to help us get to our apartment when he maybe didn't have to, happy staff and such a well kept outside. Alcohol price was decent too

Well what can I say we are only home from this hotel & all we can say as a family is we can't wait to come back, the rooms & hotel were cleaned to a high standard every day, beds,pillows linen were so comfortable! Every member of staff were very friendly & made is feel very welcome from the minute we walked in especially the receptionist Mariah she couldn't of accommodated us anymore very friendly & nothing was a hassle so thank you! Lovely lady! We were only supposed to stay 4 nights & loved it that much we extended it over the weekend which Mariah had made notes so when she wasn't there other staff members were able to understand exactly what we were looking & the manager had all the notes he needed to help us stay on longer, the hotel was nearly booked out & we were so lucky we ended up getting to stay in the same room what a view 115 was perfect for a family of 3! The pool was lovely & clean. Breakfast menu there is plenty to accommodate everyone's requirements fresh and brought on when running low, fresh omlettes made how you want, loads of savory breads and treats our son was on cloud 9! Very nice ,well mentaind and well positioned from the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby, and the main street just few min walk distance. The apartment we stay was very nice, with a nice view of the ocean. Nice big room's, full equipped kitchen. Very friendly personal, starting with Julia from reception until the house keeping lady on our floor. Everyone doing everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The only down points will be about the TV size, ( in our apartment was like laptop display) and not even straight. And the second was the air con in the bedroom. Quite simple one with not to many options to control. Each 20 min or soo, you feel the cold air on you no matter the temp you set up. They should review this time to time. Overall we will definitely recommend with pleasure, and we will definitely consider for our next holiday.

Well what can I say Vista Sur are simply the BEST apartments we have ever stayed in!!! Location is fantastic literally a minutes walk to the beach,shops,restaurants and bars,we had a sea view apartment and the view was amazing!! The apartment itself was extremely clean and well furnished(in fact the whole complex was decorated to a really high standard and super clean) and really well equipped with plates glasses cutlery etc all of which was in excellent condition. There is daily housekeeping and the staff were very friendly and thorough cleaning the apartment daily. Reception staff were extremely professional and helpful especially Juliia who went out of her way to accommodate us. As we had a relatively late flight home it was no problem to leave our luggage in a secure area which had a small lounge and toilet/shower facilities so we could return there and prepare for our flight home. I truly cannot recommend Apartamentos Visa Sur enough and have already recommended it to family and friends should they want a self catering holiday you really won’t beat Apartmentos Visa Sur and we will definitely be returning….it’s 5* all the way for me!!

Great place to stay, we had perfect holiday. Customerservice just perfect, always happy to help. Apartments are clean and aircondition in both rooms was happy surprise. Good location, in the middle of everything. Parking wasn’t expencive for our rentalcar. Bakery downstairs, where you can go buy fresh bread in the morning, lots of great places to eat near. Endless shopping opprtunities, we came home bags full of souveniers and clothes. Swimmingpool was good, big enough and kids loved it. Beach is perfect with kids, nice soft sand and safe to play or have fun in the waves. We are planning already our next trip, absolutely going back!

super beach front and surprisingly quiet for its super central location. I paid for the ocean view (room 206/207) and it’s well worth it as many of the other units looked to face the mall or a wall. The major issue for me was/is the lack of efficient wifi. If you are coming here expecting to work or jump on video calls as a remote worker you will constantly be disconnected or unable to connect. The apartment itself was super minimal but clean and fine. No dishwasher or washing machines were in the unit however. Amazing views and overall would return without hesitation

Had a really good holiday at hotel ole. Visited with my partner for 7 nights in a standard double room. The hotel was nice and clean throughout our stay. However we did not receive maid service for 3 days of our stay which were the last 3 days, besides this the room was lovely and clean and modern. All staff in the hotel were helpful and they couldn’t do enough for you. The drinks and cocktails were very disappointing the cocktails were very basic not what you would want from a resort that is that well looked after and quite sophisticated. Good food and plenty of fresh options which was nice. Pool was clean and modern, always managed to get a sun lounger. Despite these few little things that need improving, I must say the best thing about this hotel is the entertainment team. They are a credit to your hotel, always professional but really do put their hearts and soles into their role, if it wasn’t for these guys I don’t think I would probably return. Diego, Tamas, Denise and Borat (we never got his actual name) were so funny and engaging with their activity’s and comedy shows. Denise did yoga and palates which was nice to relax while in the hotel. I would return to hotel ole and would recommend! :) x

Absolutely amazing experience staff were great From chef’s cleaners, desk and entertainment. Chefs were always so happy cooking absolutely lovely fresh food ie steak , chicken , pork and lamb. Cleaners were amazing come into our rooms every day empty bins making our beds with cute little bows and cleaning the whole room for us and making it neat and tidy. Front desk Staff were always helpful calling us taxis. Entertainment were absolutely amazing constantly setting up activities throughout the day and the nighttime entertainment is absolutely amazing , entertainment staff definitely was the highlight of the holiday. They definitely made it what it was. Location was great. 10 minute walk from the beach and the strip also plenty of activity stores nearby to book what you need also one inside the hotel which the ladies were absolutely brilliant so helpful.

This is an absolutely amazing hotel! The entertainment staff are amazing, and so so lovely. All staff are so helpful, on our arrival we arrived just after midnight and they had a bag with sandwiches, fruits and treats. The food is lovely and made fresh. And the rooms are super clean and spacious. The location is great, 5 minutes from the strip and around a 15-20 minute walk to the area of the Hard Rock Cafe. We will be returning.

I recently stayed here for 10 days with my family, the hotel was always very clean and well maintained. There was work going on throughout the hotel but there was minimal disruption to our stay. The staff were all so friendly and happy to assist where they saw fit too. The pool area was always maintained and very well kept. The bar staff were also so friendly always had a smile on their faces while serving drinks and always happy to have a chat with us. The food was good but did get repetitive towards the end of our stay. The entertainment team were incredible always happy to have a chat and a laugh with you and wanting to get you involved in every activity. They held multiple pool parties and foam parties throughout our stay and even did their own comedy show on our last night which was just hilarious. They really did make our holiday that bit better.

The design and swimming pool were great. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner – breakfast was good, but dinner got repetitive with limited options. We stayed for 7 days, and there were only 2 dinner menus, with not many choices for vegetarians. I’d recommend skipping the dinner booking in advance. There are lots of nearby restaurants at reasonable prices. Also some of the staff at the restaurants and reception weren’t very friendly

Beautiful hotel gardens and pool area. Central location with easy access to the beach. Standard rooms are very dated and a little tired, but they are clean and tidy so don’t be put off, unless you are looking for luxury. There is no air con so bear this in mind. The terrace in our room was huge and has plenty of seating, with a retractable canopy. Overall a very nice place and I would recommend staying here.

We just arrived home tonight from a 10 night stay and loved every minute of it. We are very sad it’s over now. This was our fourth time returning to PS3. It’s great to see how the place is being maintained so well, the gardeners out every morning, the cleaning staff constantly cleaning. For us this children’s pool was the highlight this year with a 3 and 1 year old they absolutely loved the slides and pool. One slide was broken on one day and repaired the following day. My daughter was delighted to see this slide back in action. We have just booked again for next year.

Huge complex. Great size pools and the kids water park is just amazing. Annoyingly if you want a decent sun bed you have to do it early as people do head down for about 8am to reserve them. The rooms are decent size but in need of an upgrade. So outdated, could do with air cons in the room, new furniture, tiles and walls etc. They do get cleaned every day and if you follow instructions you'll get clean towels too. Because the complex is so big it can be a trek to get to the pool if you are disabled etc. I would definitely return as it has a brilliant water park on site for the kids and we really enjoyed our time there.

Lovely hotel, great rooms, nice, clean , airy, fans on ceilings as there is no air con units. Balcony with clothes drying facilities and sun loungers. Walk-in showers. It's not far from the Golden Mile and beaches. Receptionist Segundo checked us in and he was alone on reception when we arrived but worked tirelessly. Overall great value.

My wife and I had an amazing experience, we loved the room and the maids were very nice and helpful. The air conditioning was not working and a very nice girl came right away and fixed it quickly. We had a nice conversation. The buffet has very varied food and the spa is small but very complete. The location is perfect. We will definitely stay here again!

The staff was very pleasant. The rooms are very clean however, balcony is too small for our family.location excellent.food just ok but good selection.bar cue constantly long no matter what time of day.lost all-inclusive on day of arrival and at 12am on check out. So all day no drinks or food for children before flying after paying in a package for this and had to make other arrangements for them.entertainment was good mix up.great pool side activities for kids.pool side showers within toilets for showers on departure from hotel. Variety of shopping brought into the hotel on a daily basis but no pressure. Didn't see our rep the whole time there but the hotel staff were helpful with this.The new infinity pool and use of the spa with all inclusive was excellent!! Adult time away from children while they were having pool side fun with great pool staff security(life guard). One massive downside was the hotel is on the main night time strip so for families with young babies ,not a great idea. Ask for the other side of the hotel. The double class balcony door&TV in the room drowned it out a little. We will come back for sure!!

Hotel is located in a nice place, rooms service and reception are great, we enjoyed swimming pool, entertainment program and food. But their Spa centre (Natural Welness and Spa Centre) is a true scam!!! Never again!The women there don't know how to do neither massage or facial. They just put a plenty of oil with the strong smell or cream on you and that's it. No basic knowledge about massage or cosmetology. I was very frustrated. 170 euro paid for bad mood, I was almost crying when leaving their "spa". Terrible experience!

We really enjoyed our stay here at Hotel Troya. The rooms are really modern and cleaned well. The hotel facilities are also great, with a clean pool area, free air conditioning and spa. The location is in a good spot, just far enough off the busy strip, right across from the beach and a 8 minute taxi from Siam Park! My only negatives would be our hotel room was right about the hotel entertainment, so there was little chance of getting an early night. The pool bar was very short staffed so took a while to be served during the day. Lastly the food wasn’t the best. It was great for lunch but not breakfast or evening meal. Overall i would definitely stay here again and we’re looking forward to our next trip to Tenerife.

Hotel was really clean and well presented. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was big enough and plenty of sunbeds. Great location, just down from Costa Adeje and Veronica’s Strip. It is quite noisy on a night time due to being close to Veronica’s but it isn’t too bad. Wide selection of food on the buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tenerife.

This is a fantastic adults only hotel. The choice of food was very good and the rooms very comfortable. The only thing that let it down was that the entertainment finished at 10pm so you have to go elsewhere if you want the night life. Having said that there are plenty of bars within easy walking distance. It is also a 10 minute walk away from Siam Park if you want to go there. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and very friendly too. We will definitely be back.

May 2024, the hotel is very clean, spotless in fact. The staff are lovely, including the cleaning staff. The only thing wrong is that the pool water is freezing! Food very good, we had bed and breakfast but paid for 2 x evening meals, which includes wine. I feel that 2.50 euros a day for using the safe was excessive, particularly as they give you pool towels for free. The top floor sun deck is fabulous, with very comfy loungers. A Disturbing Experience at Coral Ocean View Hotel, Tenerife... Where do I begin? My stay at the Coral Ocean View Hotel in Tenerife was nothing short of a nightmare. I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others and shed light on the dangers that exist. 1. **Security Concerns:** - During my stay, I was drugged by an individual posing as a fellow guest. To make matters worse, I encountered a gang of young masked men outside the hotel, one of whom brandished a gun. I immediately reported this to the hotel staff, and the incident was captured on camera. However, their response was inadequate. - The security guard, unfortunately, couldn't communicate in English. Despite my desperate pleas for help, he failed to intervene effectively while the robber attempted to drag me away from the reception desk. 2. **Lack of Assistance:** - I fell ill due to the stress and trauma of the situation. When I contacted Jet2 to report the incident, they were dismissive. - Shockingly, when I requested to use the phone to call the police, the hotel staff denied my request. Even at the police station, I was told to call the police myself—an absurdity given the circumstances. 3. **Reputation Over Safety:** - The hotel's primary concern seemed to be protecting its reputation rather than ensuring guest safety. This callous attitude left me feeling abandoned and vulnerable. - It's disheartening that such incidents are not isolated. Tenerife, as a whole, appears to have serious safety issues. Many people have fallen victim to robbery, assault, and worse. 4. **Urgent Need for Vigilance:** - I implore travelers to exercise extreme caution when visiting Tenerife. The island is far from the idyllic paradise it's often portrayed as. - Authorities should take immediate action—deploying additional security personnel or even soldiers—to safeguard tourists. 5. **Personal Impact:** - The trauma from this experience has taken a toll on my health. Only now, after much hesitation, am I able to share my story. - My son also suffered a similar fate at this hotel. He, too, was robbed and drugged on this island too, embrrassment prevented him from disclosing it until recently. In summary, Tenerife is not the safe haven it appears to be. Let my experience serve as a warning: stay vigilant, prioritize your safety, and don't let this happen to you. The island needs urgent intervention to protect its visitors.

first 3 days were good hotel room, food and drinks were really good, staff were friendly except for the manager Mrs Luz, then they had work being completed right next to the pool and our room, no notice prior to the work being started, staff unable or not willing to tell us how long the work would take. Would not stay again if the work is not finished, the manager needs training on customer service skills as she was rude and not approachable, the staff seemed scared of her and she tried to do the same with the hotel residents too.

I was slightly apprehensive about staying in this hotel due to the recent reviews regarding the works being done on the hotel. While I understand improving the hotel while open will cause disruption I was unsure about how this would affect my holiday. Thankfully the work being done was minimal and we hardly noticed much noise at all. The staff are all brilliant and very friendly and welcoming. We were all inclusive and thought it was definitely worth it. Plenty of drinks to choose from and the buffet selection every night for dinner is a different choice each night. As for the comments about the same songs being played over and over we didn’t hear the same song twice over the course of a week so unsure where that is coming from.

We have now stayed at Coral Suites & Spa 4 times and it is always faultless. We usually stay on a bed & breakfast basis, which is perfect for us. The staff are what makes this place so special, I would especially like to mention Eli who is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the rooms are lovely, the pool is amazing and it's located right in the middle of some beautiful walks, shopping, beaches and restaurants. Love it!

Rooms , service, location all good but , the food let's this hotel down. While there us a good selection nothing is hot. We were fully inclusive ended up eating out after the first couple days . Building work also going on , know this has to happen but, not happy as they started knocking the old toilets down at 08.30, our room was situated above . A letter would have been good to inform us the water would be turned off. Won't be going again

The hotel itself is lovely. Very modern, good size rooms and balcony. The rooms are very spacious and always cleaned to a very good level. Lots of storage and great seating on the balcony. The construction is a big downside, today it even made its way in to the hotel and it became very smoky and dusty. It's so loud, they've tried to compensate by making the music louder but this doesn't work. Also, same few songs on repeat! It's a very mixed bunch of staff. Tatiana was very friendly and helped a lot with recommendations of beaches etc to go. There is a guy on reception there who is without a doubt the rudest person I've ever met in hospitality. He would mutter things under his breath and laugh to his colleagues whilst looking at us, just not the treatment you would expect in a 4*. We had a late flight so used a shower room before our transfer, which was awful. Dirty towels all over the floor, unflushed toilet and hairs everywhere. Just felt like we had been forgotten about even though we were still guests. Overall, the location of the hotel and the room itself is lovely, breakfast has a good variety and staff there are very attentive. But we definitely wouldn't say it was 4*.

My visit to this hotel in August was my second of the year and on both occasions my son and I had a great time. The attention of the staff to the cleanliness of the hotel in all areas was most impressive but most particularly noticeable in and around the restaurant and pool area, probably because are room overlooked that area and we observed the early morning pool cleaning routine. We found all the staff very friendly, professional and helpful with a special mention to Neisa Martin, who worked the bar restaurant area, who lightened up our day with her smile and friendliness, and all the bar and restaurant whose hard work professionalism and overall made our stay such a pleasure. The only downside to this revue is that my findings seem to be common so that it has been impossible to getting until well into 2025, I hope to be able to visit you all sometime the, thank you.

Just back from a week's holiday bed and breakfast. Staff were spot on very helpful breakfast absolutely fantastic choice heard a few bad reviews of the meals from people we chatted to who ended up eating out, so glad we just took the bed and breakfast. Staff within the restaurant at breakfast were like ghosts back and forwards cleaning tables removing and dirty plates cups and all were super nice. We went with the up experience with the infinity pool only ended up going up to that platform a few times as down by the.pool are was really nice more than enough beds for everyone managed to bag the same beds every day, without any fuss. Lifeguards were pretty on the ball with people using main pool for inflatables and balls telling them that they can only use the other pool, a bit strict sometimes! families in with really small children asked to leave when the kid was holding a tennis sized ball bit harsh but suppose rules are rules. All in all fantastic hotel super clean and nice Staff what more could you ask for really.

Fantastic hotel, great breakfast, hotel staff were great, rooms were cleaned daily with fresh seats. Pool was very good, although we weren't advised that the infinity pool was €15 euros per day, and rooftop pool was €70 per day. Location was close to beach and nice bars/restaurants. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes I feel that it was a good all round hotel, with good amenities, only downside I feel was the lifeguard spent most of his time on his phone, disabled lady was trying to get into the pool and couldn't grab his attention, also children playing in adult only jacuzzi pool. Other than the above I would be back.

Visited July 2024 for 11 nights. Hotel has gone down hill. Visited 5 years ago and it was excellent hence return. Inedible evening meals. Processed meat that looked like it had been taken out of a tin, even the chips were awful hard and uncooked, cold, just disgusting. Asked to eat from children menu as the main meals were sooo bad, but staff refused. Had to eat out most nights despite being half board. Cockroach infestation. Being a hot climate does not justify this. Never experienced this before! Poor rooms, old , damaged floors, damaged ceiling, requires urgent updating.Pool side not kept clean, spillages left throughout our stay, rubbish accumulated under bridge in pool. Poor evening entertainment. Reported concerns to Agony, customer service. He was very pleasant and made notes of our complaints but no one ever got back to us. Will not be returning. Definitely not 4 star. They may have changed management as can’t believe the decline.

Great hotel, great location, clean and very friendly staff. The breakfast is great with plenty of options so you won’t be disappointed…. However the new dinner system is awful. It’s now pick a main of the menu with a selection of buffet style starters and desserts. The main menu options don’t offer much choice and options are limited to meat with a side of veg and fries. The restaurant is now empty of an evening with others like myself opting to eat out evening though we had paid for half board. Would defo stay again but only pick the breakfast option ! Great pool area plenty of sunbeds but you do need to put a towel down before 9 to get your preferred spot. Lifts in the hotel are extremely slow with one not working there’s only 2 for about 500 rooms to use. Can take 5 minutes to reach reception from the top floor.

I loved this place. We stayed because my husband was fishing for a few days. I got to walk right down to the beach. Nice pool to cool down. I even got a massage and it was good, maternity massage. The breakfast was okay not great but for the price you can’t beat it. I loved the out of date style with statues. The room was comfortable and cold with ac. Bathroom was good, was able to bathe comfortably. Would def come back ! Very touristy area. I’d go out to dinner in Adeje up north ten minutes. Service was good too , kind staff.

It's been a number of years since my last stay in this hotel. The location, right on the beach and in touching distance of shops and bars , makes this an ideal hotel to consider. The staff are excellent, the breakfast superb ( with the musical addition) but if anything the room was maybe in need of a refurbishment. However I am lead to believe that once The Mediterranean Palace reopens , after its very big upgrade, this hotel will be next. The pool area is excellent and the pool itself wonderful. My wife was very impressed with the aqua fit seasons . Can't wait to return.

All in all was ok but the rooms are in clear need of a renovation, the toilet water when flushing smells. We asked for a late checkout and they couldn't grant us that, but it was clear that the hotel was not even half booked, we even tried to negotiate a room upgrade when checking in but we were given the full price even though the better rooms were not reserved. The morning breakfast menu is ok but it is literally the same every morning... no variation, you get sick of it after 3 days.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Great pool and sunbed area. The bar was very poorly stocked and the service was very poor. We only spent one evening there. There were quite a lot of sunbathers Smoking around the pool area. And not using the designated Smoking area, which we found quite annoying, staff totally ignored this. We will not be returning. Breakfast was great with a good selection. Lunch and dinner had a lot to be desired. In answer to the hotel reply. I DID mention all the negatives to the hotel receptionist and your customer relation person, both said they would get the complaints addressed. I had no come back off either, even though they took my name and room number.

Hotel was clean, safe, spacious and stylish, the room was tidy and comfortable. However feels like it’s opened slightly too soon after the ‘renovations’. There was no gym facility ready which was disappointing for us. Some amenities in the room were missing, or we had to ask for them, like robes/slippers/etc, which you would normally expect from a 5 star hotel. As some other reviews here mention, the shower had a water leaking issue that flooded the corner of the bathroom with each use. The service was a bit lacking as we waited a day for some things to be delivered to the room, with some receptions being incredibly friendly and welcoming, and others almost rude. The food was nothing to write home about. Overall does the job if you want to be close to the lovely beach and main touristy area, however did not incentivise us to return.

I’ll start this review by mentioning I’ve contacted Mediterranean Palace to discuss this further and have been ignored. Hence finding myself here. I struggle to find the words to express my dissatisfaction with this hotel. I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in my fair share of 5 star hotels and I can assure you, this isn’t close! Awoken on the first morning of our stay at 6:37am. An array of loud noises persisted until 8:30am when we left the room for breakfast. Politely asked at reception on our way to breakfast if the building works would continue into the following morning. His response was beyond shocking, claiming no building work was currently taking place yet from that exact position I could see two independent contractors working along with an escalator cordoned off. This was worked on later that day. It was very obvious this hotel had been refit and opened too early! You’ll now be thinking, this is a short lived problem and unfortunately I picked a bad time to visit. This will be resolved once they’ve completed the remaining tasks, for example, building a coffee shop in reception. I shall elaborate further to counter that fact. The room, 6th floor. Lovely view of both the sea and volcano. Balcony reasonably small but the views make up for it. Room itself is fitted out nicely and was in good condition. Zero complaints about the bed. Moving onto the negatives. The room is small, along with the bathroom. Shower is a terrible design. Expect wet feet everywhere in the room if the shower is being used. Tea and coffee making facilities are diabolical, no milk offered, cheap instant coffee. They claim to offer a ‘mini bar’, that transpires to be an empty fridge. No bottled water, not even a welcome bottle. No gowns or slippers. Honestly, I’m surprised they offer towels. The pool bar isn’t great, certainly not 5* standard. We waited, stood at the bar, over 15 minutes for a cocktail to be made. In which time I’d nearly finished my drink that was poured when ordered. This wasn’t because they were snowed under with orders. It was made very apparent, along with the attitude faced at reception, the staff truly do not care. Breakfast is average at best but does have a nice seating area outside which I did enjoy. Along with the coffee served int he restaurant. Same can’t be said for the orange juice, which unfortunately, whilst lovely on the first morning, had maggots in for the following two mornings of our stay. Cleanliness should be paramount and this kind of neglect is inexcusable in my opinion. I tried to resolve these issues with both reception and the dedicated customer relations personnel. I was faced with no real apology or effort to resolve the issues. This left with no option but to request a refund for my remaining two nights and check out. This was refused! Maybe I over paid at €212 per night bed and breakfast but truthfully, I would’ve been equally dissatisfied at €120 per night. I would strongly advise anyone considering Mediterranean Palace to think twice. I promise, you’ll be gravely disappointed.

Not normally one for reviews but seeing as I’m going to be putting in a complaint I believe this warrants honesty. Came here in 2022 and we had the best time ever! The children enjoyed it; I loved it! So much so we tried to book again for last year but the hotel was undergoing renovations. So we finally managed to get here again this week/year. Currently staying here for a week with my two children who are 15 & 12. Second time I’ve stayed here and thought it would be better after the renovation; however it’s awful. I would not recommend to anyone. We have had to move rooms 3 times due to the room flooding from the design of the new bathroom. The aircon doesn’t work in all rooms. The televisions don’t work. The telephones to call the reception to let them know you have a problem - are temperamental. Some of the staff are rude. No music around the pool during the day = no atmosphere. It doesn’t have to be blaring but at least something in the background. No floats or anything allowed in the main pool - only in the kids pool (which is big enough for a one car parking space). You claim you’re a 5 star hotel but there are better hotels to stay at that are very close. All inclusive means all inclusive but you cannot get all your drinks from the kiosk bar you have to pay for them (which the prices are ridiculous!). €6 for a slice of pizza. €3.20 for a plastic cup of Fanta. It just seems to be one thing after another here and I’m looking forward to going home as I would never stay here again based on this.

I'm currently booked in for a family off 4 for October this year I would like to give a massive compliment and thank you Amalia for such a great service and her communication throughout my booking. She was a pleasure to deal with from the start to finish. (Through email and phone). Answered all my question and helped me choose the room what i was after. Basically listened to my needs. First time stopping in Tenerife and couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Our stay was absolutely fantastic with the most professional and friendly staff who are tentative to each guests needs. Special mention to Lorena and Louis from the hospitality of the hotel. They couldn’t have done anymore for us whilst making us feel so welcome and cared for. They both put a smile on our faces everyday. David, one of the chefs, makes both breakfast and evening meal enjoyable with lots of character when make the food fresh to your order. The entertainment at the hotel is second to none, always something going on throughout the day and night to suit all guests, abilities and needs. Debbie was amazing at getting people involved in the activities and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back to stop here.

I’m not long back from a delightful holiday in this hotel. I booked this trip last minute as a treat for myself as I wanted to escape to a dream place for a beautiful holiday in the sun, and this hotel seemed perfect. Tigotan did not disappoint. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean and all staff worked so hard daily to keep the hotel looking beautiful. All staff are so lovely, pleasant and welcoming. Staff will do everything to make sure you have a lovely stay and are so accommodating. The entertainment is great with something for everyone, whether that’s aqua aerobics, cocktail tasting, water basketball, water volleyball or foam parties. The vibe here is laid back and relaxing yet fun at the same time, I feel completely renewed after this holiday. Both breakfast and dinner provide a great range of choices, which is great if you want to try something new. The chefs also take such pride in their work and are lovely people. This hotel is great if you have dietary requirements like me, gluten free options can be provided if necessary. Thanks to the young man who always checked in to make sure that I was being catered for. And a huge thank you to Lucille (my favourite waitress) she was so kind and always took the time to chat to me everyday and check-in with me. She was also wonderful at her job and attentive to everyone’s needs at breakfast and dinner. All round I loved my holiday here, thanks so much to all staff for all that you do. I hope to be back soon once I have saved up again!

Room was amazing we had the Romance Room and it was perfect. Food was nice and staff were all friendly. The two pools were fabulous with entertainment and light music all day. Myself and my partner stayed 7 nights in hotel. Location is perfect, rooms very good and very very clean but most importantly the food was magnificent!! From loads of meat, fish, vegetables, salads, sides, fruits, deserts, barbecue, we couldn't decide where to start and it's very delicious, even my very fussy partner was very happy! Hotel is offering loads of activities suchlike tennis, football, gym, pool, pool with salty water as well, animation every night. Bar is also lovely with many choices of drinks. We are definitely coming back!

Hotel is large, rooms are basic, unfortunately no aircon in our room. Food is normal quality as you’d expect for this price range, pizza was very nice. Bar staff are understaffed and very rude, the cocktails come from a machine with very little alcohol in. Pool is very good, and ample sun beds available. Hotel is clean and the animals there are good. Location is 10 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from the clubs. Loads of people, of all ages, 3/5 star.

The staff were amazing and so friendly and welcoming! Food was pretty cold the whole time we stayed unless we got there asoon as the all inclusive started and wasnt cooked the best! Rooms were okay to sleep in but not very big, there was 2 of us aldults and 1 child and we felt very cramped. Theres also no lift which was a massive struggle for me with a toddler and a pram! Would have been more helpful to be on the bottom floor. The hotel itself is beautiful and the pools, garden and all the kids activites were amazing!!

Our stay was wonderful! The entire hotel staff provided an exceptionally high level of guest care and help, even arranging for a rental car to be delivered to and picked up from the hotel, saving us time and trouble. The food and beverages were excellent, with the service staff very attentive. Our adjoining rooms were refreshed daily, and the hotel design/decor is almost magical.The pool was cool, clean and refreshing. Access to shopping and beaches was very convenient. Highly recommended for other to experience first-rate holiday or business guest care.

Hotel amazing. Breakfast, amazing. Pool amazing. Just don't book dinner/half board as, it is not on the hotel grounds & not 5 star. It is in a separate restaurant (beach club)& they give you a set menu choice which, is not edible or suitable. It is a choice of a piece of breaded chicken escalope with chips, a bit of tough beef, or filled pasta of their choosing. Not really a choice. We are here for 10 days. Definitely Not a la carte dinning. It probably cost £3 per meal. We asked if we could order something off the menu & told, no. So, there you have it. We thought by booking 5* & paying a higher price that, the food should be of 5* quality. They advertise a 1* mitchilin restaurant too. Very frustrating when you book a 5* holiday & think you will be well catered for within the hotel as, this is what we paid for. Been very unsettling having to walk to restaurants away from the hotel & pay again for other meals. Such a let down for people with limited mobility. But, apart from that, the hotel is great. It is spotless & spacious accommodation. Staff are pleasant & helpful. Just a pity about the dinner.

Great hotel. We visit Tenerife every year, and Europe Villa Cortes is our favourite hotel. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The view from the balcony is great and all of the staff are very friendly. The pool is large with a waterfall. There are usually plenty of sunbeds available, and the pool is normally quiet. The buffet breakfast provides a large variety of food choices for everyone to enjoy. There are two great chefs available to cook you food on request. There are tennis courts and a spa available for an extra fee. The location is great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself is beautiful, though I recognise that its style might feel dated for some people. The room was wonderful, as well as the overall cleanliness of the spaces. The pool is also great, very clean and spacious, and never felt overcrowded. Elena from the pool bar really made our days whenever she was working there, always with a kind word and a friendly energy. We hope she lives a happy, fulfilling life and think her work should be recognised. Everything else about our experience felt painfully mediocre, considering the price. As someone who has considerable experience both with staying and working at 5 star establishments, Europe Villa Cortés fell short of that description in almost every way. The biggest issue of all was the staff. There were two particular instances that really stood out: at 6 pm we went to the pool bar, only to be refused our drinks. The young man arrogantly told us that the bar was already closed, however, stood there with another staff member for another half-hour. We later found out that the bar only closed at 18:30. The same young man refused to bring us drinks to our beds by the pool, only to do exactly that for other guests near us. The only difference between us and those other guests who got served by the pool was that they spoke spanish, while we didn't. The interactions with most of the staff seemed tinted with this attitude... we kept being subjected to cold stares and attitudes by staff who, the very next second, were warm and welcoming to someone right next to us. We understand that language barriers exist, but having the quality in our service suffer for it is simply unacceptable. In fact, some of the staff had very rudimentary knowledge of english. Everything felt as if it had seen better days... in fact, Tenerife itself felt like a place that must have been incredible... twenty years ago. The food was also mostly mediocre, with some good standouts, but nothing worthy of note. We also found the lack of activity throughout the hotel to make it feel even more uninspiring. There is such a thing as too quiet.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hotel Sir Anthony exceeded our expectations in every way, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that’s often missing in many 5-star hotels. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. On our first morning, the duty manager greeted us at breakfast with a simple yet perfect line: ‘Where would you like to sit; this is your home.’ It set the tone for the rest of our stay. The food was fantastic, and the facilities were top-notch. We booked a superior room, but spent most of our time relaxing by the pool, where there were plenty of high-quality sunbeds, parasols, and attentive service on hand. I also took advantage of the free gym at their sister hotel, which was spotless and well-equipped. Despite the central location, the hotel was quiet at night, making it an ideal retreat. Having stayed at several other top hotels in Tenerife, I can confidently say that this one is the best by far.

The hotel features lovely decorations, a beautiful swimming pool, and is in a convenient location. However, the room appeared to be poorly maintained. Breakfast was good, and the service was excellent. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. From Hotel's response 'During your stay you haven´t reported any maintenance issues. We are sorry to know that you have found our maintenance below standard, but we would have liked to be informed so we could have solved any problem.' My additional response: The hotel's response was disheartening. It seems the room maintenance is reactive rather than proactive. Instead of conducting regular inspections and addressing issues before they become noticeable, the hotel appears to wait for guests to report problems. This approach not only affects the room's functionality but also its overall aesthetic appeal. While we didn't encounter any significant usability issues during our stay, I believe the hotel could improve on the general appearance of the room. Details like floor tiles, grout, and door frames could benefit from more attention. While it might seem excessive to report minor issues like loose grout or scratches, a five-star hotel should strive for excellence in all aspects, including preventative maintenance.

One of the best hotels that we have visited in the world. We are not golfers as the majority of guests are but that does not detract from any part of the experience. Many hotels bill themselves as 5 star and are not; Las Madrigueras is a true 5 star establishment. Rooms have fantastic views, with spacious balconies and quality furniture. The whole hotel has shaded seating area throughout. It was 34/35 degrees for most of our stay, so this was a godsend. Restaurant and food quality and choice are superb. The pool is wonderful and never busy, if you like to swim. Finally the staff. Exemplary, friendly, professional and happy. The clientele are mainly well heeled Europeans and British. If you want a quiet, unspoiled break, this is a great choice. Not for everyone but most of the guests have been back here for the last ten years or more. I think they like to keep it a secret... and no wonder!

We have recently returned from our holiday. I must say this hotel is lovely, the rooms, pool and golf were excellent. Really friendly staff and good food. Negatives with this hotel is there was no information in the rooms, meal times and general info about the area etc., also there was a lovely piano bar but unfortunately there was no pianist, so entertainment was not available. As the hotel is located quite away from facilities I think they have missed an opportunity having no evening entertainment.

We had a lovely experience at Hotel Vanilla garden. Firstly we were greeted by Pedro at reception who gave us welcome drinks and advised us on how to get to our room. When we entered the room we were pleasantly surprised by the size, the cleanliness and the comfort of the room. The bathroom was clean and of a good size and as was the balcony The pool area is fantastic, with music playing quietly through the day. Sunbeds are comfortable too and the jacuzzi around the corner is a nice touch. The DJ set and pool party on Wednesday and Saturday was also a nice touch. Bar staff are all friendly and can’t do enough to help. There are 2 aspects of the hotel which resulted in a star being lost. First one is the selection of food. Although 90% of what is available is tasty and good quality, a couple nights we struggled to find anything we fancied due to the small amount of choice available (small buffet area) and so we ate out a couple times. The breakfast sausages also weren’t great and the bacon and fried eggs are only available from the show cooking counter. This didn’t massively impact us and we were still mostly happy with the food. The last point (although I believe the area was having some water supply issues at the time so this could be the reason) was that the pressure from the rainfall shower was awful and the temperature was difficult to get right, so I ended up using the handheld shower most of the time. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it’s amazingly quiet for its location and everyone here is lovely. I would definitely come back to this hotel without hesitation and if you’re looking for an ideal place to stay in playa de las Americas without all the noise, this is the place.

Just had a very pleasant 1 week stay at this hotel. The rooms and hotel itself were modern and clean with surprisingly good sound isolation and the staff was friendly. It is a smaller hotel which we enjoyed as it was quite and not overcrowded. The pool was big enough and if you did not sleep in, getting sunbeds (we went in 2nd half of September) wasn't a big problem next to the pool. The hotel also seemed good in case you would consider staying for a workcation or just business as wifi quality was very good in the rooms and the rooms even had an ethernet connection.

I had an amazing experience and stay here. Junior suit no. 139 has an incredible view when leaving the room in the mornings. The view from inside is the pool area, great for people watching and enjoying the pool party. Private terrace with sun loungers and jacuzzi, sun all day long. Hotel is clean, spacious and the staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. Greeted with a glass of Cava on arrivale and welcomed with an ice bucket and bottle of Cava, bowl of fruit and mini bar in room. Nothing is too much bother. Smoking is permitted on the balcony. This is an Adults ONLY hotel, located right next to Veronica's Strip but far enough away you don't get caught up in the crazy there. Excellent hotel. You don't see this one mentioned by all the social media 'stars', it truly is a hidden gem and I hope it remains as such.

Had the best week stay here! We had the standard eco room and there was not much more we could have asked for. Huge bed, effective air conditioning and lovely view. Cleaners do a deep clean everyday, pool area is immaculate, and staff go above and beyond. Cheap cocktails and even a happy hour! No rush for sunbeds too! Will be again soon :) Location is 5 minute walk from the beach and 20 minute walk to the Golden Mile. Siam park also in walking distance!

We have just came back from our stay at Vanilla Boutique hotel just over a week ago, it was a lovely hotel, very clean and the food was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were cleaned over everyday by housekeeping and the staff in the restaurant were so attentive and lovely, our weeks stay could not be faulted. However, upon our check out day, we enquired about a late checkout as our hotel transfer was at 5pm and the hotel required checkout by 12pm. We were informed it was 7 euros per hour extra we could pay to keep the room. Upon 3pm housekeeping entered our room to which we explained we had booked for late checkout. We were then bombarded with calls from the middle aged dark haired woman from the reception to our room demanding we leave the room and being extremely rude to my partner over the phone after we had spent thousands of pounds at their hotel. Then we quickly checked out and left to which we were met with a passive aggressive attitude from this lady at the reception, the same lady I had previously enquired about the late checkout with!! We were looking forward to giving a substantial tip for our lovely stay, but this idea was retracted after the receptionist abusive behaviour. Her customer service needs serious improvement. Their may have been a miscommunication due to the language barrier however her behaviour towards my partner over the phone was unacceptable. This made our plans to return to the hotel in 2025 unlikely. The hotel needs to deal with the receptionist.

With a couple of days to go before leaving to go back home my wife and I are pleasantly enjoying life here. The area is nice and quiet , the staff are very friendly and understanding. The rooms throughout are of an adequate size and kept clean and tidy. From our apartment a taxi which can be called by reception will take less than ten minutes to get to the seafront and shops . 👍

Was quite a surprise when we got there. As instead of 4 beds, we got 2 beds and a foldable sofa. Now the sofa bed wasn't that bad. But the fact that we paid a lot of money for it i was not that happy. Room service was ok. We only got it 7 out of the 10 days we were here, but that didn't really matter. Location wise, the apartments are located on a steep hill, which was a small pain to climb, but otherwise, it's set in a beautiful location surrounded by beautiful views. So vibrant and colourful, not like the average grey UK sky. It's about 20-30 minute walk from the big supermarkets like tŭ-trebol and Marcadona so you can get cheap food, but its abit of a walk. There is a mountain , montina chayofita , where you can see the whole of los-crystianos it was well worth it. It was only an hours walk. Overall, the apartments themselves and the location it was in, plus the non-stop sun, made it well worth it. We also made a visit to the dormant volcano. It's a 2 hours bus ride to the volcano, but the views are lovely. We didn't take the cable cars to the peak of the volcano, but if you have the money, it's definitely an option. The pool here was amazing for the first week of our holiday it was quiet, but im guessing August is going to be very busy. The water is clear, and the pool itself is quite large. Overall, I would recommend it despite its drawbacks.

Just spent a wonderful week at granada park. Our room was basic but had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. Lovely big balcony over looking the pool. My only issue was the beds are quite firm which I dislike. The staff were lovely very easy to talk to especially the staff in the snack bar who always made the kids smile. The snack bar itself is very reasonably priced and the food is good we ate breakfast here most days. There was some building work happening which was barely noticeable and in the night it's so quiet. the pools were big and alot of the time empty so we had the area to ourselves. Absolutely loads of sunbeds and parasols. I'd love this hotel to maybe have had some entertainment so we could enjoy the pool area a little more. The hotel was about 20 mins walk into the center of Los cristianos and taxi took less than 5 and was usually around 6-8 euros. Overall a very pleasantly surprising budget holiday and I'd happily return.

A nice apartment complex with swimming pools everywhere, a calm atmosphere and good but simple apartments. Mine did not have air conditioning but in April a through draft was enough to keep a comfortable temperature. The location is well situated and reasonably priced. There is a small convenience store inside and bars and restaurants within an easy walk. There is a taxi stand beside the Columbus Hotel.

Absolute dump. In serious need of refurbishment. Staff were down right rude. Can't even say goodbye when leaving. Bar staff brilliant. Beds hard. No hot water apart from one shower if lucky. Beds were minging, one hard pillow, shower was bogging. Wouldn't let my dog stay in it. The reception may say why did you not come say anything well maybe if you were a bitore friendly and approachable as i said can't say cheerio! We come to Tenerife every year lately we have noticed in most hotels or apartments they are lacking cleanliness or needing upgrading this one is no different rooms are adequate although ours was supposed to be 4star and should be rated 2star. Pool is nice however you pay for sunloungers and no parasol so no shade. It was noisy round the pool and we were at the front above restaurants and football field although windows were able to keep noise out windows had to be owned as no air con and it was way to hot. Won't be coming again. In fact we are going elsewhere to try s different island.

Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough ! Honestly I have told all my friends and family about this hotel ! Rooms are clean & spacious. Very safe area with security. Cleaners very friendly and left the room spotless every second day. The hotel supplies a big hairdryer in reception for the guests and also can rent a curler & hair straightener. Only down fall of this place is that there is no air con . Only a fan in the ceiling. This didn’t effect us as we came in April but may affect on hotter months during the summer.

Ants in the rooms. The hotel staff knows about it, but don't do much. First, they started to blame us for bringing food into the room, while the kitchen was part of their amenities. Then that we are living food leftovers all over the place (at that moment we spent only one night and didn't leave any leftovers). Then they said they would apply some gel against ants. When we returned there was no trace of any gel applied and ants still were there. Eventually, they moved us to another room and applied gel right in front of us. The ants still were there but just a few, compared to the first room where ants were everywhere including the bed and us during the night. The lady manager was rude, had no empathy, and referred to our nationality and country of origin stating that we don't have insects, which is absolute nonsense. In her words, it's OK to live when ants crawl on you when you sleep.

My recent stay at Los Cardones Boutique Village in Las Americas turned into a nightmare due to the shocking behavior of the hotel manager, Joaquin. On our second day, when we encountered issues with our room, including a broken door that wouldn't open, Joaquin had the audacity to blame us for the problem. Rather than addressing the issue professionally, he chose to deflect responsibility and hurl accusations at us, creating a hostile and unwelcoming environment. Adding insult to injury, Joaquin's unprofessionalism reached a new low when he resorted to swearing at us and started accusing us of taking drugs, further demonstrating his complete lack of respect for guests. His behavior was utterly unacceptable and made our stay at Los Cardones Boutique Village an experience we would rather forget. Moreover, Joaquin's intimidating demeanor left us feeling scared to leave our hotel room, robbing us of the sense of security and comfort that should accompany any hotel stay. To top it off, Joaquin attempted to charge us 50 Euros in cash for the broken door, a fee we believe would have gone straight into his pocket, highlighting his unethical conduct. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel until they address the reprehensible behavior of their manager and prioritize guest satisfaction over baseless accusations, verbal abuse, fear-inducing behavior, and unethical charges.

Perfect little spot in Playas, a real little gem. 10 minute walk to the strip (or 2 minutes if you hire an electric scooter) 30 second stroll to the beach. The rooms were nice and modern and surprisingly quiet given the location. The staff were pleasant and didn’t bother us at all throughout the stay. 12 of us stayed here on a stag do recently and spent most of the daytime around the pool listening to our own music and drinking beers with no complaints from staff, couldn’t ask for much better to be honest, definitely prefer a set up like this to a hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Positive points: beautiful place, very good breakfast, friendliness of the staff always ready to help. Negative points: despite the apparent cleanliness, we found cockroaches in the apartment which made us uncomfortable to continue in the accommodation. Some guests went against the rules to be in the pool, marking chairs with towels without being there, eating and drinking in the pool. Despite that, we enjoyed the experience overall.

beautiful hotel. we had one of the apartments on the top floor and it was absolutely stunning, with a huge balcony overlooking the sea. food and drinks were superb and staff were welcoming. pool was salt water which i liked, just try not to get it on your hair! will definitely visit again. close proximity to golden mile.

Very good location ; next to the beach, shops, restaurants and supermaket. The room was correct but not exceptional. The bathroom was big and fonctionnal. We were happy to have a fridge to keep our food and drinks fresh for the next days.

Great location, so close to everything you’ll need. Supermarket across the street and shopping centre underneath. Beach is through the back gate. Breakfast was usually holiday buffet, does the job. Pool is huge and saltwater which is a bonus. Lots of sun loungers available. You can put towels down from 8AM (9 on Mondays). Rooms are a good size and clean. Kettle, toaster oven, hob, cutlery and crockery included. Only downfall is no air con. Rooms have fans which do the job but if you’re a light sleeper you might have some trouble.

Hotel is located right on the coast, along which there is a very long promenade, perfect for walks, especially for parents with strollers. Guests have at their disposal 2 medium-sized swimming pools and a lot of greenery around. We were outside the main season (end of April) and there were no big crowds, so it was easy to find free sunbeds. For us, a big advantage was the lack of animation or music in the pool area. The room was clean, we had a well-equipped kitchenette and a balcony with a great view of the ocean. A few minutes away from nice public beaches, supermarkets and restaurants. The only downside was breakfast in the hotel next door, 5 minutes away, but it was compensated by a beautiful tropical garden where we could eat and large selection of dishes that we liked very much. A hotel worth recommending.
