This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this hotel. It is an excellent base to explore this part of Tenerife. There is a bus stop right outside and a Super dino supermarket 20m away. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff are excellent..they offered us an upgrade when we requested it. The food at breakfast is good with a wide range of cooked and cold foods and a great variety of fruit. We will certainly recommend Los Dragos to family and friends and would have no hesitation to rebook for ourselves at a later date. Thank you Davina and Veronica for your help and advice.

Great Stay at Aparthotel Dragos del Sur, Tenerife For a three-star hotel, this place really exceeded expectations! The location is fantastic—perfect for exploring the beautiful areas around San Juan, Playa de la Arena, and Los Gigantes. Everything you need is within easy reach, whether you want to relax by the sea or take in the stunning local scenery. The staff are absolutely lovely—friendly, helpful, and always pleasant, which makes a big difference to your stay. The atmosphere is welcoming, and you feel well looked after from the moment you arrive. We were also fortunate enough to be staying during the Tenerife Rally, which was an amazing bonus! It was a great opportunity to see all the cars up close, and with a front-of-hotel view, we had an excellent vantage point for the evening entertainment—such a unique experience. The hotel offers good value for money, and while it’s not luxury, it’s clean, comfortable, and ideal for anyone wanting a great base to explore Tenerife without breaking the bank. Highly recommend for couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a relaxed and convenient stay.

We stayed in November 2024. Upon arriving at the hotel we were placed in the Upon arriving at the hotel we were placed in the highest room which did not have a balcony or pool view as we had booked but you could walk out to a shared space which arguably had a nice sunset. The apartment was also larger than we had booked but we thought we’d been upgraded. When we went to have a shower though, the water was pretty cold and water pressure was low. Staff came to check but said that repairs would need to be done the next morning at 8am (on a Sunday). They offered for us to shower in another room that hadn’t been checked into yet but did not offer a room swap (they were fully booked, which is interesting as we weren’t in the room we had booked). We woke up early so we wouldn’t be startled by repair people. No one came. We went to reception (who were also rude and frankly uncaring from time to time) and they told us they hadn’t come today and they didn’t know when he could come. We demanded a room change and they said only in the afternoon (after someone else had checked out). We were also never offered compensation. We hung around the hotel so we could move our things when needed and missed out on a travel day. Once we had the new room, it was fine. We later discovered a similar review of the same experience with the top room ‘upgrade’ and water problems. It appears this hotel overbooks, places guests in a ‘broken upgrade’ room until another guest checks out and shuffles people around then. Terrible service in order to extort more money from people. Breakfast was mediocre but acceptable. Hairdryers are available from reception (if they haven’t run out) and you have to pay a deposit. The location is good, and street parking is usually available BUT I would spend a bit more money to go stay somewhere else.

We have not long returned from our holiday at Klayman Diamond and as always experienced excellent service and accommodation. The standard of apartment service was exemplary, the maids being both courteous and friendly, clean towels each day and bed linen changed regularly. The reception manager and staff again most helpful. There is also poolside dining and attendance which is useful should guests wish to enjoy an evening meal at the poolside enjoying a panoramic view. A perfect venue for a wonderful holiday.

Well what can I say, this was possibly the best holiday I’ve ever been on, the hotel was in a perfect situation overlooking the beach and beautiful cliffs of los gigantes. The staff are incredible, always friendly and polite and can’t do enough for you. The food at the hotel was also brilliant, and if you have waiter/bar staff Nacho there, he will make you feel warm and welcomed. This was mine and my girlfriend’s first holiday together and we couldn’t have picked a better venue if we tried. Thankyou to all the staff that made our trip memorable.

We stayed here for 14 days around Christmas and New Year’s. We had a wonderful apartment with a separate bedroom on the second floor — a beautiful place with an amazing view. The kitchen is well equipped, and as vegetarians we cooked our meals there regularly; everything you need is provided. We did find it helpful to bring our own tea towels, as suggested in another review. The staff are genuinely kind and helpful. The toilet flush occasionally stuck, and after reporting it, it was fixed immediately. We also had dinner at the hotel on Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and it was delicious and very enjoyable, with live music. If we have to mention a few downsides: the sofa in the room and the dining chairs are not very comfortable. Parking can also be a bit challenging at times. Usually there is a spot somewhere on the street, although you may have to walk a little. Only on Christmas Eve we couldn’t find a space and had to park down in the village. The best thing about Klayman Diamond is the people who work there. It seems as if their only purpose in life is to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Accommodation is great and the location is very convenient for the town (the walk in is pleasant and easy - however the climb back up the hill, especially for older people, is a challenge). We've always enjoyed our stays there and will be returning.

We very much enjoyed our one-week stay at the Klayman Diamond, which offers clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped apartments with a terrace and a sea view. The staff is extremely friendly and diligent. The pool, bar and restaurant are added bonuses. Highly recommended!

This was our 5th visit to Los Gigantes Hotel - last one in December 2023. We found a big improvement in the food choice. There was a great selection of smoothies and yoghurts for breakfast and eggs freshly cooked any way you like. Plus all the usual english breakfast choice. We enjoyed the themed nights at dinner plus the Culinarium restaurant was excellent. The evening entertainment was good, especially when the group called Beatless played. I enjoyed the aquafit each morning. Natalia was super. All the staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful. The waiting staff especially work hard. We sat in the outside dining area and our waiter was always so efficient. Our cleaning lady came in daily and kept our room lovely and clean. On our last day we kept our room till 4 p.m. so did not see her to thank her properly. Unfortunately I left my jacket in the wardrobe in our room and only realised once on the mini bus heading to airport. I emailed the hotel to ask if they could post it out to me but it seems to have disappeared. Totally my fault for leaving it, but it has spoiled end to our holiday a bit.

In a nutshell, we love TUI Blue Los Gigantes! This was our 6th stay here and over the last few years we have had the pleasure to get to know many of the staff on a more personal level, and it is a privilege to be welcomed back each time we visit, by such wonderfully warm, friendly and hard-working individuals. We have been fortunate enough to stay in some of the world's top hotels and I can honestly say that we feel so comfortable and at home at TUI Blue Los Gigantes - like part of their family! Our friends often ask why we go back to the same hotel so frequently, and we tell them that it just ticks all our boxes - the hotel itself is clean and well-run, the staff seem so happy and nothing is too much trouble, the food is incredibly tasty, plentiful and varied, the location, pool and grounds are stunning and the epitome of a great holiday is to be able to just relax and enjoy - which is exactly what we do! The staff really make our holiday so special, so if you will indulge me I would like to thank them all so much for a very happy 2 weeks! They are all wonderful and too many to mention, but some special thanks go to hostess Teresa, Jesus and Antone on reception, TUI Manager Alex (thanks for the hotel tour), TUI Rep Francicso (thanks for the pancake fun!), Head Chef Franck (thanks for the cooking class, the laughs, all the yummy food and putting up with me asking what's in everything all the time!!) chefs David, Matteao (thanks for the Italian lesson!), Ernesto, Barbara (fab omelettes!), Manuel and Maria. The waiting staff are all such fun and just a couple of personal thanks as well to Ailen, Ayelen, Christian, Andrew, Fabian, Fran and Martina - keep up the great work guys and looking forward to seeing you again soon. The hotel is spotless and well maintained thanks to the brilliant household and maintenance staff and the pool lifeguards are all very friendly and helpful too. I need to stop now before I run out of superlatives! I believe the biggest indication of how wonderful a hotel is, is repeat custom, and as with most of the guests at TUI Blue Los Gigantes who return year after year, we have already booked to stay again in April, in October and next January too! We stayed for a week from 6 January with friends. I am extremely fussy but found the hotel excellent. The breakfast choices were great with an egg cooking section and fabulous omelettes. Whilst half board we ante out 5 nights as that’s what we like to do but the hotel food and show cooking was excellent. We were in room 1007 with excellent view across to La Gomera. Despite previous reviews saying mainly for the over 70’s - and so what anyway- there were couples of all ages. A very friendly hotel with some good singers in the evening entertainment we heard from the terrace. The hotel was spotless and the pool area lovely. Yes if you wanted sunbeds in certain areas you needed to be down at 8 but often beds available later. Lovely resort and the only thing I missed was a choice of vegetables on eating out. Had some great meals out and a fab trip to mount Teide. Weather was great. A fabulous holiday in the sun with friends. Resort meals and drinks out reasonable too. A very chilling experience and we will return.

I booked a last minute stay at this hotel. I have stayed here previously so was looking forward to the good hospitality offered. Great location, quieter part of the island, amenities available were excellent. Weather was not great so the pools were too cold to use as much as I would have liked to. Food and service throughout was great,lots of choices available each day,thank you. Reception were friendly and efficient and helpful, thank you. I had a village view in my room, nice balcony. The only suggestion would be is to have a sofa or a comfy chair to sit on rather than just having the bed if I watched TV. Booked a single room by the way, lesson learnt for next time. Received a welcome drink on arrival and a bottle of cava was left in the fridge along with some fruit and mineral water, such a lovely gesture. Some of the sunbeds are looking weary around the pool. TUI reps always available during the day. Evening entertainment was not to my taste but am sure it was appreciated by others. Fitness classes available every day which was really good, thanks Jennifer. Overall ,just what I needed even without the much needed sunshine,maybe next visit!

Nice hotel with good views of the sea and marina. Large, well equipped rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff - made to feel very welcome. Never struggled to find a lounger by the pool. Highly recommend the spa for ultimate relaxation. Bottle of fizz and fruit delivered to the room on arrival, which was a lovely touch.

We have just spent a week at Royal Sun Resort during May half term as a party of 9. It is in a quiet area of Los Gigantes, a short walk to the town and shops. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. We our family of 5 we had a 2 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the lounge. The terrace was huge with 4 sun loungers and a 6 seater table, and a beautiful sea view. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Our flight was delayed and they arranged for food platters of cheese, ham, bread, fruits and yogurts to be left for our arrival. We loved the pool area. It was very well maintained and very clean, we saw them hosing it down several times during our stay. There were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, we never struggled to get one. The day entertainment was low key, aqua aerobics and some basic games by the pool. If you're looking for action packed, this probably isn't the place for you! But we loved it and found it very relaxing. The buffet food for breakfast and evening meal had a small but varied selection. It was always fresh, and was slightly different each day. The pool bar food at lunch was an extra cost as we stayed half board, but everything we tried was fresh and delicious. We went on the flipper boat trip and saw some whales, and also spent a day at Siam Park. Overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We would recommend Royal Sun and would return if we were in the area again.

This is truly the best hotel I have been to in Tenerife! This is one of the few places where you can see the neighbouring island, stunning sunsets, cliffs, while being in a quiet city (no crazy parties) so you can actually listen to the sound of waves that travels all the way up the hill. We have visited in 2015 and again in 2025. Not much changed, but everything is extremely well maintained. Super clean! Breakfasts are great, you should totally go at least once. Exquisite food, champagne if you like, large selection of food and drinks. I have only positive things to say about this hotel! It was totally full during our stay, but it was barely noticeable because of how it’s built.

The best hotel ever. What a lovely sea view and durectly under los Gigantes. Delicious food, you need to be careful.how much you eat:) great pool, friendly service and reception Staff attending to all our requests. And a cherry on top of the cake- professional friendly and charming aqua gym Gigi. We had a blast at his sessions! This will be an unforgettable experience!

Lovely hotel in Los Gigantes, perfect with a rental car to explore the island, touristy but calm. It's a nice walk down to the beach and restaurants, a bit more tyring back up the hill. Parking was available by the street for free during our stay, but hotel parking also available for 7€ if needed. Appartments are very spacious and super clean, with a big balcony with amazing seaview, sun chairs and table/chairs for 6 people. Kitchen very well equipped with stove,oven, dishwasher, big fridge, microwave. Seating counter for 3. The pool was fresh,not really warm/heated in April but bearable. Nice sundeck protected from wind most days. We chose the breakfast option, which was amazing! Buffet with a great variety including fresh eggs/ omelette, pancakes,bread and pastries, fresh fruit buffet, and coffee/tea options and even Cava. Day time and evening entertainment offered as well as half-and full-board, and also day trips can be booked via the hotel, so a rental car not a necessity. But nice to have to explore the rest of the island if staying for longer than a few days.

Our stay at Royal Sun Resorts in Los Gigantes, Tenerife, was absolutely wonderful. This was our second visit – we were here two years ago – and we are happy to say that everything is still just as excellent as it was back then. Once again, the service was fantastic: friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable in every detail. The food is delicious, varied, and prepared to a very high standard. Royal Sun Resorts continues to deliver great quality, and we felt truly well taken care of. We are very satisfied with our stay and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect place to relax on Tenerife.
