2nd visit, went last January also. Went as a party of 3. This time we made use of the alternative restaurants and wish I had done so last stay. It’s like going out to good restaurants. Tried 3 out of 4, one was too many meat choices for us, but that’s a personal choice. All the food choices were excellent at all meal times, breakfast lunch and dinner. It was very varied, and hot, and not at all repetitive in the buffet restaurant. The others were fixed menus but were so good we went in two twice on our 10 night stay. Location superb, one traveler had mobility problems but got around the hotel fine on his scooter. It was also close enough to the beach and marina. Cleanliness and hygiene was spot on, in the rooms and restaurants especially. Staff helpful, friendly and welcoming from start to finish. We didn’t do preferred, seemed a bit too expensive just to have different pools and bar, and breakfast option, in winter time, but would consider for summer months. Evening entertainment not too bad, one band in particular were on twice and were fantastic. Highly recommend for couples, families and solo travellers.

We had the most brilliant holiday here. The staff from the cleaners to the receptions couldn't do enough for us .The activity team were wonderful. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sangaria demonstration on Wednesday. The 2 lad's and the lady were brilliant 👏 👌.The laughter we had trying to make our own Sangaria was brilliant. The bar staff were amazing and the waiting staff at breakfast were so accommodation. All I can say this was the best holiday we had for year's. We will be back. Thank you all .

We stayed at this 5-star resort in Lanzarote and had mixed experiences overall.
The location is excellent, directly on the promenade and very close to the marina, which offers a wide selection of very good restaurants. Check-in was smooth, professional, and appropriate for a hotel of this category. The staff were generally friendly and helpful.
We stayed as guests of the Preferred Club, which unfortunately did not offer many real advantages. The Preferred Club lounge was particularly disappointing: the windows could not be opened, the air conditioning was very loud, and there was a noticeable smell of mold, making it practically unusable. Overall, the hotel appears to have been renovated in recent years, but the original architectural structure remains quite dated.
Cleanliness throughout the hotel was good, and the rooms were well equipped. However, there was no heating in the rooms. During a windy period with outside temperatures of 12–15°C, the room temperature dropped to around 18°C at night, which felt uncomfortably cold.
Another negative aspect was the lack of food options at the pool bars. Despite having several pool bars, they only served drinks—no snacks, tapas, or light meals were available, which we found disappointing for a resort of this level.
Breakfast in the Preferred Club area was also challenging, as it was often difficult to find a comfortable place to sit. It seems there are many Preferred Club guests, but in practice there was little to distinguish this experience from a standard stay. Access-controlled areas were not really exclusive, as card readers were out of order or doors were simply left open.
The evening entertainment was sometimes quite elaborate, but generally far too loud. The Christmas gala dinner was especially disappointing. While the eight courses themselves were well prepared and appropriate, the pacing was rushed, and the overall atmosphere felt more like a cafeteria than a festive gala: harsh lighting, minimal decoration, isolated seating, poor music that clashed with loud bar music nearby, somewhat unpolished service, and no real accompanying program. Overall, the evening was not worth the price.
In summary, we would not recommend this hotel. There are better 4-star resorts in the immediate area that offer a more balanced and enjoyable experience.

The location is excellent: right on the promenade of Playa Bianca. The rooms are spacious, the beds acceptable.
Unfortunately, this is where the positives largely end.
The hotel does not suffer from a lack of potential, but from a lack of focus — and from misplaced priorities.
At the pool, space is missing exactly where it is most needed: shaded, wind-protected areas for small children. Instead, there is plastic lawn, tightly packed umbrellas, and sunbeds arranged so densely that freedom of movement becomes more theory than reality.
The loud party music at the pool seems to be enjoyed by no one in particular. In the evening, this continues at a volume so excessive that my watch warned me of potential hearing damage with prolonged exposure. A hotel needs to decide which guests it wants to attract — families, those seeking relaxation, or partygoers. Trying to be everything at once does not work.
Every evening, a white sheet is placed on my bed with a piece of chocolate — a nice gesture, albeit not a very tasty one. Yet at the same time, dust and sand remain visible on the floor, clearly unwiped. Once again: a kind intention, but the wrong priority.
Service is inconsistent. Some waiters struggle to do their job — getting their attention takes ages, and they can be rude. Others are exceptionally friendly and offer complimentary drinks. I do not need free drinks; I am perfectly happy to pay for what I consume. What I do need is consistently friendly and attentive staff.
Finally, a small detail that perfectly summarizes the experience:
Complimentary minibar items, tea and coffee are included — but there is no way to heat water. Am I seriously expected to use the coffee machine to make tea?
In summary, this is a hotel with an excellent location, decent rooms, and significant potential — but one that gets in its own way because it has not decided what it wants to be.

Gorgeous holiday at Dreams. Great location, gorgeous food and drink. The animation team were amazing - shout out to Zach especially and also to Tim who were amazing with our little ones and with adults with additional needs. The hotel does limit the resources (unless you pay extra for their preferred club so you can't access certain pools/sunbeds/bars/restaurants at specific times) which is annoying but otherwise, lovely hotel and great location.
