Overall a great budget friendly holiday considering the amount we payed. We stayed for a week and had a good time. The hotel rooms are more like a mini apartment, nice and spacious although furniture was a bit outdated, still a comfortable place to sleep and shower so can’t complain! Would’ve liked it to be a bit cleaner when we arrived- the floor was dirty which meant we couldn’t walk around in socks only but I understand that can’t always be helped especially if previous guests are wearing dirty shoes in the room. Cocktail of the day and sandwich bar were a nice touch, Dylan one of the bar staff members was always lovely and quick to make our drinks! He dealt with the long queues very well despite only 1 staff member being behind the bar at a time. Could’ve done with having atleast 2. Sometimes found when other bartenders were on the bar, it would be left. once we waited over 10 minutes with no one serving with a massive queue starting to form! For the meals, there could’ve been more selection- lots of fish options each day which doesn’t appeal to everyone, although i understand you can’t always please everyone. Sufficient for us and reasonable for a budget hotel, breakfast was our favourite. Overall, a good holiday for the price and would come back (although we don’t often stay in the same place twice!).

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL it is dirty the rooms are very dated with no air con it really hard to get to sleep with it been so hot because of this. 90% of the staff are rude and u helpful. You are not allowed inflatables or balls in the pools. The sunbeds are not cleaned and was never cleaned the whole time we was there. We were all inclusive but the pool side snacks during the day are a joke ice cream pots, biscuits or make your own sandwich with stale bread and a selection of cheese meat and salad . Main meals the dinning area is small and the food is very average the staff make you feel more of a pain been there then any hospitality.Don’t go to this hotel if you want to have fun

Second time staying here. Although the rooms need updating and would hugely benefit from AC we had a lovely stay. Entertainment was great, lots for all to do. Juan was amazing, always happy any friendly, one of the front desk mathias was very helpful and so was maria. We will definitely visit again.

Great value for money. As with most 3 stars room was basic and food could at times be samey but plentiful. Never left hungry! However hats off to the chefs as theme nights and the show cooking area was always very good. Not a huge variety of drinks on all inc, however bar staff always friendly and helpful. Cleaners and grounds men were alway busy and worked very hard. Entertainment was provided by Juan, he was always friendly and included as many as wanted to join in. Variety of entertainment in the day and evening. Juan is a credit to the hotel. Location is a 25 min walk to main beach, shops and bars. Around 10 mins to a smaller beach with a few bars.

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are basic but very clean. Always got a sunbed at pool. Restaurant had plenty of choice of food and drink. Third time at Costa Teguise Gardens and improving every time we visit. Enjoyed the walk to the shops and beach every morning. Will definitely be back.

Close to the beach with a Spar, pharmacy, bars and restaurants right outside. Staff are super helpful and welcoming. Rooms are spotless but the building (from the 80s) could use a renovation. AC is paid and only in the living room, not bedrooms. Washing room (€6) is handy but didn’t clean my clothes well. The bar closes early and there’s no entertainment, but it’s a peaceful spot away from the strip. Would stay again – huge potential if renovated.

We had a lovely stay at Costa Mar. We are family of 3, we had apartment with beautiful view of the beach. Parakeets came every morning for peanuts and that was amazing. We were half board and food was nice, something for everyone. Dinner was different every night, breakfast repeated every second day. Pool was amazing, no sun bed wars. Lifeguard doing his job excellent. Staff is lovely and polite, especially the pool bar staff. You don't need to go to PDC town, you have 10 min walk to restaurants and bars towards Matagorda, and a shopping centre. Overall very nice, quite and enjoyable stay.

Our hotel for a week. Rooms are outdated but everything you need is there. Maids called in a couple of times while we were there to change bedding and towels. We were half board so breakfast and evening meal provided. Food was lovely, plenty for everyone. Maybe a little background music would help as it was very quiet. Pool was beautiful but freezing. Only the daring jumped in. Hotel was a 5min walk from the beach and a 20 min walk to a stretch of shops and restaurants. Staff were so friendly and helpful. They all made our stay very pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thought half board offered great value for money. The hotel staff are warm and friendly and we were given a great room with a huge balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel is right by the beach and has a bus stop close by. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and there was good variety with not too much repetition between days, and lots of lovely fresh fish. The only slight downer was that our bathroom could have been a little cleaner but overall an excellent stay, would definitely recommend

The staff were superb and friendly. Helpful with anything they could, the food from the pool bar was quick and lovely. Cocktails are made from scratch not a machine and the pool was fabulous. The rooms had a LARGE balcony/terrace with 5 chairs and a table and 2 new sunloungers put in on the 7th April to all rooms The whole interior was huge but not clean, the tiles in the shower needs a mold spray. The rooms were never swept and no sweeping brush only a dust pan. The cleaners were so friendly too overall we had a fantastic stay it was just too far from the main shops as it only had one spar a chemist and about 4 restaurants

Stayed here last week and loved it! Amazing for a 3 star hotel! Food was good, pool was great for the kids, room was spacious and clean. Bar & mini disco was great and just a short walk to beaches and shops! Would stay here again!

This hotel was really good for our needs. My little boy really enjoyed the pool, he also really enjoyed the mini disco and looked forward to it every night. The only downside to the hotel was the fact it was at the top of a hill which with two prams was a bit of a workout in the heat. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

As an adult couple , we went self catering . We had a 1 bedroom superior apartment. Which was more than big enough for us . Air con in both the lounge and bedroom . Kitchen area is great with a full sized fridge . Could have done with a small freezer , but that is just our preference. Pool area lovely . In flora 2 and as that where our apartment was it suited us fine . It is at the top of a steep hill , but the hotel do put on a bus 4 times a day to take you to the strip and back . All in all love it

The service from breakfast and bar staff is incredible here; extremely attentive and helpful. With lost property we experienced on our trip, the reception went as far as to translate on our behalf to the correct parties in order to get everything resolved. We ended up finding this (passport) and I am so grateful for the help we received during this stressful time. The pool area is well maintained and plenty of sun beds available. The rooms are to a high standard for the price and spacious with terraces, tea and coffee available. You cannot go wrong with the location and the price feels fair. Cocktails 7 euros each and always filled to the top, not stingy at all with any of the drinks. The view from the pool also looks out onto the sea.

We stayed at Hotel THB Flora in Puerto del Carmen in November 2024 and had a lovely time. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, which made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. The hotel is situated on a hill, so be prepared for a bit of a walk, but taxis are readily available and affordable if needed. The buffet breakfast and dinner offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. We especially enjoyed the fresh fruits and local dishes. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, THB Flora offers great value for money, and we would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Lanzarote Rating: 4/5

We stayed here for the first time and absolutely loved it! The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and super accommodating! The room itself was lovely and had all the facilities needed for self-catering, which was ideal! We did however have breakfast at the hotel on our last day and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a good variety of options for both food / drink and everything was cooked fresh. The entertainment was equally great, especially the games in the pool area during the day. The location was perfect with everything within walking distance but being slightly on the outskirts meant it was super peaceful / quiet which is exactly what you want on a relaxing holiday. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you for a lovely first visit to Costa Teguise ❤️

We went to this hotel for my 50th birthday and stayed in the Serenity area. It was perfect from start to finish. The rooms are spacious with everything you need. Although as we like to eat in on some evenings more cooking facilities would make this easier. The pool area was great. It could do with a few more parasols but it was clean and there were plenty of sun beds available. The bar areas were clean and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. We only had breakfast on 2 occasions but this was also great. We were left a bottle of wine on our arrival to the room and I had a bottle of Prosecco left in the room on my birthday which was a lovely surprise! Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so lovely.

This hotel was lovely and breakfast was superb however there are 2 things that lets it down, 1st is a member of staff on reception. I didn’t get her name but she was the most unhelpful person I have ever had the misfortune to meet. Every question seemed to much trouble and 2nd is the fact that if you have a late night flight they do not offer a room to get changed in your only option is the toilet which isn’t big enough to swing the resident cat in. However I did find another toilet in the bar area on the normal side which is much larger which they tend to keep quite😁

This little hotel on the edge of Costa Teguise is such a great find. It’s quiet, the rooms are clean and comfy, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. One thing we really enjoyed was the animation program. It wasn’t too much – just enough to keep things fun without being in your face. Victor, the guy running it, was amazing. He actually listens to what people want and does his best to make the activities enjoyable for everyone. We especially liked the stretching sessions in the morning – such a chill and positive way to start the day. Overall, a really nice place if you’re looking for a relaxing break.

Just spent the last week of March at the Siroco with the wife on a bed and breakfast deal and am really looking forward to revisiting again in September. Although the location might not suit everyone due to being 10/20 minutes walk to bars/restaurants, we actually enjoyed the quiet location and walk in the evenings. A taxi should you need it, is under €5 from 'the square' back to the Siroco. The hotel itself is really clean with well kept gardens, restaurant and pool area. All the staff here seem to work incredibly hard and are really friendly. The hotel does bar food and evening meals as well, although we only ate the fantastic breakfast. There is an entertainment programme in the evenings, and during the day there are 'activities' going on which you are encouraged to participate in if it's your thing. One thing that really impressed us, and was unexpected, was when we received a knock on the door one morning and a member of staff had brought up a bottle of wine and a card to wish my wife a happy birthday. A fantastic gesture which really helped make her day and holiday.

Before our trip we were a little worried because we had read some negative reviews, but on arrival we were pleasantly surprised. It was a bit tricky to find at first, since Google Maps took us to the back of the hotel instead of reception, but once we got there, the lady at reception was very kind and helpful. We stayed in room 147, which was perfect as it had two pools right in front of us – one children’s pool (80 cm) and one adult pool. The water temperature was just right and very pleasant. The apartment itself was okay: the fridge was in poor condition, but the kitchen was equipped well enough for simple cooking. A microwave and a kettle would be a nice addition. The bathroom was fine, although the doors were a little hard to open, and the mattresses could definitely use replacing. Cleaning was done every other day. Towels were changed regularly, but not the bed linen. The floor wasn’t very clean, so slippers are recommended inside. The location is good: the bus stop is just 5–10 minutes on foot. Shops and stores are about 15–30 minutes’ walk away, and there is also a supermarket 10–15 minutes away where you can find everything you need. On the corner, there is a small pub/restaurant Hotel Restaurant: that served different meals every day. The food was tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was a bit disappointing, so the all-inclusive option is not really worth it. Usually only the cocktail of the day was included, and there were no snacks. That said, the staff were always kind and we had no problems. Overall, this is a good choice if you are looking for a simple bed & breakfast stay. On departure, the hotel kindly arranged a taxi to the airport for us, which was even cheaper than booking one ourselves. Thank you, Blue Sea Los Fiscos, for a pleasant few days!

Now this could have so easily been a 5 star but the food really let it down. Services was 10 out of 10 staff were incredible especially Mo on the front desk. He couldn’t be more helpful. Staff in the restaurant were fast and efficient. Bar staff hats off to them they work hard. One thing that let it down for me was the fact loads of school kids from main land Spain arrived each day. They were loud running around and made the pool not a nice place to be but I’ve not took stars off the hotel for this as I blame the teachers that sunbathed rather than looking after the kids. Rooms are dated but they did exactly what we needed them for. Good size too. I do recommend this hotel but as a Self catering of Bed and breakfast maybe. If you can drink go all inclusive but eat in the town.

When booking this hotel, please have an open mind as I would like to point out a few bad parts and a few excellent parts. If you are looking to book all inclusive, I would say it is excellent value, otherwise poolside drinks can get a bit pricey with one cocktail emptying your wallet by almost 5 euros and 50 cents. The pool, poolside bar and restaurant are well kept. The public toilets located by the Restaurant and Reception, alongside the poolside toilets are not the best, and could do with some additional caring. As for the apartments, they are quite outdated, with only a basic television, some don’t have a very good view and not a large volume of charging stations. Additionally, most rooms do not reach the Wi-Fi, you may need to be in reception or one of the hotel’s facilities to be able to use the network comfortably for browsing. There is some bad parts about the rooms which I would like to point out, if you are a person who likes a bath, although the hotel does have baths in most bathrooms, they have been painted, which I assume is to cover mould or damp. Alongside this, one of the main beds had a few bedbugs, which are not ideal when they bite. The mattresses in the bedrooms are not the best, but they are comfortable enough for a week or 2 week holiday, I would advice against staying longer than that unless you are okay with this! As for self catering the apartments have a nice kitchen, fully equipped with a sink, stovetop, fridge freezer (small) and silverware. The staff are very kind and helpful, if you need a taxi ask reception as they will happily call you one, which can save you time and hassle, alongside this, they can also pre-book your taxis. The cleaning staff visit your apartment every other day, brining you a toilet roll and fresh towels. If you are not in the room, they will sort your bed. Please note I would recommend knowing basic spanish words to help communicate with staff, although a large quantity of the members do speak SOME english, it is not 100%. This is especially found when attempting to communicate with the cleaning and maintenance staff. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone with motion issues as there is a large volume of stairs on the site, making it hard to get around. Even for most people with no issues with motion. Overall, we stayed for 7 days and their was only 2 bad meals during our stay, as their was a lack of choice and quality. If you like foods such as: Fresh Salad, Fruit, Chips, Rice and Pasta, you will not go hungry as during the day there is plenty of options for these. I would note that if you are a fan of Ice Cream, the hotel does not have any available, but you can purchase these from the bar, but the selection is limited and the price is on the higher side, especially when around the corner at the THB Flora, their is a nice little supermarket where you can get the basics like these. The site is located in a nice position, it is on a steep hill so plan ahead as it is quite tiring to climb up and down. From the rooftop, accessible by stairs located by the pool, you can sunbath and take in the view during the day, whilst getting stunning views of the town and beyond at night! For the price, the hotel is good. But the accommodation could do with some assistance.

After reading a lot of negative reviews before going on holiday my anxiety was at rock bottom and I was absolutely dreading the holiday, but once we arrived and inspected the room it wasn’t all bad at all dated 100% but big spacious rooms, the only reason for the 4* is the lack of air con and only being able to hire a fan. We didn’t experience any bed bugs and the beds wasn’t to bad to sleep on!! The food was okay a different choice daily was all edible Breakfast consisted of your usual full English selection, fruit, pastry’s and different breads Lunch was different each day and we always found something we liked Dinner also different each evening and again found something we liked. The pool is very deep but lovely when it’s been a hot day the pool snacks are a let down with only bread, cheese and ham to choose from. But otherwise the staff were all lovely and accommodating it was clean throughout the hotel had no problems at all. For a cheap little get away bluesea los fiscos should definitely be considered!!

The bread tasted like polystyrene, the beach is quite far away drinks are overly sweet and there is no AC so you have to sleep with the door open would not recommend. Bobby the bartender was the only good part about this hotel.

Whilst the Morromar does not go above and beyond it covered our needs for a budget friendly family holiday. The food was adequate with decent selection, rooms were spacious and always kept clean. Cito on the animation team was brilliant with our little girl. Reception always helpful and a private little gym on site ran by Mick which was brilliant. Could do with a few more sunbeds for the busier months

Came here with low expectations, and they didn't exceed them, you definitely get value for your money but I feel like a little more effort could make the experience more enjoyable. For instance, the rooms weren't cleaned everyday only the bed was made but the bathroom wasn't ever cleaned they just fold the towels. Also, I feel like the beach towels and gym should be free of charge as this is an "all inclusive". The food was okay depending on what you get, it changes everyday which is nice and the ingredients could be better quality but it was good! The drinks however unless you are getting beer the cocktails are just way too sweet and their alcohol is mixed up with water because no matter how much they put, it doesn't change anything, so you end up drinking a lot of them and then getting a stomach ache because of all the sugar. Anyway you get what you pay for and it was a nice stay!

The animations team really made this holiday amazing. They had something going on everyday and the kids club was great. The room is very spacious and clean. The food was rubbish out of 8 nights away, I only enjoyed the Mexican night. The food was only slightly warm never got anything hot. I wouldn’t return to the hotel purely based on the food.

I can't fault it, when you look at it realistically. Apartments are clean and a good size. Not too many people. Food is way better than expected. People seem to either either want Michelin star food or only want 'English food'. So far I've had what is basically nice tapas for all meals, and I'm a good cook, so can be a pretty harsh judge. We're in a group of 9, with a couple of fussy eaters, and everyone likes the food, so those complaining probably eat like toddlers. Only possible issues are that a few more loungers and shades around the pool.

Went on a girly holiday with my daughter 13th-20th June 2025. Chose this hotel as it looked nice and was not far from beach or shops. Although I was a little concerned by a few of the negative reviews, the positive ones seemed to outweigh the negative. I was more than pleasantly surprised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

Very dated hotel. From the rooms to the sunbeds it definitely needs updating. Sunbeds were filthy and broken. Food was buffet style..bit repetitive but ok. Rooms were basic. Shower was broken. View was good as they had put us in a 2 bed apartment when we had booked 2 rooms, it was on top floor with uninterrupted view. Entertainment team lacked enthusiasm and was very geared towards other nationalities. Nothing much going on around the pool area. Wouldn't go to this hotel again unless it was massively refurbished.

Offer air-conditioning but does not say when booking you have to pay a deposit for the remote €10, and only in the main bedroom, got the last remote which was lucky what wasnt so lucky is that it did not work went to reception on the sunday got told it would be Monday when it got sorted, went back on Monday got told Tuesday by the Wednesday night I just gave the remote back because it was clear it wasnt getting fixed had 2 kids with us and it was so warm they wasnt coping well, explained this to reception and they wasnt bothered. Had ceiling fans that was dirty and didnt really do anything, No fridge in the room so taking drinks to the room to keep everyone hydrated had no choice but to drink warm water. Parts off the hotel are very scruffy the canopy above where you eat was about 5 different covers our view from the front off our room was a rusty paint coming off lift door. Not all staff but a hand full off them was just so miserable no matter how much we smiled and said thank you just got nothing back, half the light switches around the room didn't do anything. Door was off its runner so didnt open fully which I ended up fixing. And just missing basic things that we have had in all hotels we have stayed in like no bin in the room no light on the balcony which we like to chill out in the evenings and play cards on the balcony but hard to do with no light, all 6 hotels we have stayed in, in lanzarote have had these. Never got to see the entertainment because there was more guests than chairs so the one time we got to take the kids to the mini disco we had to sit outside as that was the place we found so kids didn't get to join in with that. Only positive I could take from this hotel is food was nice and good selection overall though we will not be going back here when we return.

Air conditioning not working and didn’t even attempt to sort it, food was below standard and the choice for kids is terrible. Spent must of the time in town eating and drinking out, this is after paying for all inclusive! You get what you pay for so spend more money on a better hotel, trust me.

I stayed at SBH Royal Monica for two weeks and overall had a very enjoyable and peaceful experience. The location is fantastic—right by the ocean with direct access to a rocky beach and stunning views of the sea and nearby islands. I even spotted dolphins and other marine life, which added a special touch to my stay. The pool area is well-maintained and inviting, perfect for relaxing during sunny hours. The resort has a calm and laid-back atmosphere that suited me perfectly. The dining options are varied with generous buffets available for all meals. There’s also a casual pool bar that serves lighter fare during the day. The food quality was consistent, and I appreciated the range of choices throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, multilingual, and welcoming. Even though the hotel primarily hosted French and German guests, I felt comfortable as a solo English-speaking traveler. The team was patient and accommodating, which made communicating easy and pleasant. My room was clean, simple, and functional—offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. While the resort isn’t luxury-level, it provides great value, especially for a longer visit like mine. Overall, SBH Royal Monica is a great option if you want a relaxed and peaceful holiday in Lanzarote. Not everything was perfect, but I had a good time and would consider returning. Edit: With all that being said, there was one particular employee who was unprofessional and rude. He was a fairly young man with curly hair. He had a sneery and passive-aggressive attitude. Because of him I am detracting one star from service, which was otherwise fine. The best barman was also Adrian.

Mohamed and Adrian are the best Waiters Mohamed speaks many languages very well and He is very friendly to guests. Was very nice to meet him. The food was always fresh and diverse. We recommend the stay in this Hotel, but it would be good if the rooms were cleaned every day

The rooms were lovely and clean. Cleaners are in every other day and are thorough. The bed bases were a little tired, and the paint on balcony in a couple of areas but it's barely worth a mention. We would happily go back to this hotel. We were half board, the food was good. The service was good, the views from the dining room were absolutely amazing. The location is fantastic, lots of eateries, bars and coffee shops within close vicinity. We could of happily of stayed longer than out 11 nights.

We absolutely loved our stay at Galeon Playa. The location is fantastic - everything in Costa Teguise is right on the doorstep, and the two beaches on either side of the hotel are beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were lucky that it opened out onto one of the swimming pools which was perfect for us with young kids. The decor in the room was quite basic but that suited us fine. The pools were great - one more heated and with a good shallow section for kids, another cooler (and therefore quieter) and ideal for lengths. Plus two small kids pools, one with a slide. I was impressed that there were lifeguards on duty by the sides of the pools during the day which was reassuring with the kids. The kids club was great (most days 10-12 while we were there). We weren't planning to use it but our children wanted to go and really enjoyed it. The entertainment staff who run the kids clubs and all of the other entertainment at the hotel are just brilliant - we were so impressed with their energy and attention to the kids. We didn't try the buffet restaurant for breakfast/ evening meals, but the pool snack bar was great, and the night time bar was good fun and good value. Everything around the hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff here really make the place - everyone we came across was really helpful and friendly, and clearly put a lot of care and attention into making this a great hotel. I feel really lucky to have found this gem of a hotel and hope we will be back 😊

Galeon Playa is a lovely hotel in a great location, with two beaches in easy walking distance, loads of restaurants to chose from within walking distance too. It also has great accessibility to larger nearby towns and attractions like the submarine safari, water parks and Arecife. The hotel itself is a little dated in the rooms, and like many hotels the walls and doors are thin so you can hear other guests late at night on their way back to their rooms. The pools are brilliant though with a couple of toddler pools, and one of the larger pools having mixed depth making it great for the whole family, they also put on entertainment for the kids in the pools and elsewhere making it a great hotel for families. For those interested in the WiFi, it's there and free but it's not the best, it did cut out a few times for us. We had one issue on our trip where another guest took issue against our room which put the kids on edge, this was in no way the fault of the hotel however I am pleased to say that on reporting the problem they did what they could to help relieve the problem, Cristian on reception was amazing, he had to put up with me approaching him several times as we sorted this issue out but he managed to find us an alternative room for the duration of our stay, and once we moved the remainder of our stay went well, so much so that I told my wife it felt like 2 separate holidays.

Visited here in June,on arrival reception staff were lovely.We stayed in a superior room which was not great.The toilet was coming away from wall,in need of an update & good clean.White towels would have been nice,opposed to shabby dark blue & orange ones.In insight we should have requested room change,but hotel was full & prob wouldn't have got one anyway.The corridors leading up to our apartment were filthy,paint all coming off the wall & had not been swept in days.The pool area not the best,lots of broken dirty sun loungers.Somedays the maintenance man was life guard,not great.There was an incident when the pool got taped off,no idea why.We came back later that day & there were 2 loungers,2tables & a bottle floating in there.The entertainment staff worked very hard & were very pleasant.Location of hotel was good 5 minute walk to beaches & near bars. From start to finish it has been a great holiday. We were here with our 13 year old granddaughter and she thoroughly enjoyed her stay including the Galy entertainment on an evening. The varied night time entertainment is only on for a short while, but we enjoyed it. All the staff are very friendly. There is a large pool area. The poolside bar, Blue Bar, serves food and drinks during the day. I would most definitely recommend.

Absolutely disgusting. Jewelry stolen from the room, when contacted reception they said nobody steals and it would have been thrown away. I cannot understand how anybody would throw away a brand new pandora jewelry bag and none of the other rubbish in the room when "cleaning". When speaking the next day to them they stated again they had never seen it and told us to call the police. After telling us previously to look through random bins on the side of the road. Rude staff with no sympathy or willingness to help. Not even giving eye contact when having a conversation or bothering to stand up. They also claimed that we said we hated the apartment we had not been in contact with the staff at all before this incident. O respect 0 service and 0 help. Poor. Even down to the little things when simply ordering food from the snack bar treated like an idiot for asking for a receipt and laughing when we walk away. I seriously cannot understand what we did to upset them from the moment we walked in 5 days ago. Never-mind the fact we did not even put out the sign to say we wanted the apartment cleaned.

This was an amazing hotel! Everything was clean, the breakfasts were delicious, and there is a supermarket right across from the reception. The beach is just a couple of minutes away on foot. (Yes, the hotel is located on a small hill, but walking up takes only a couple of minutes.)

Arrived on the ninth January for one month. We have been completely satisfied with the hotel staff. Our room has been cleaned regularly and bedding and towel changed on a regular basis. Our cleaning lady is lovely. Our animation lad Alex is especially entertaining and funny and has made our holiday very pleasurable. So much so we have booked again for next year.

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. You have your own kitchen and fridge, parking is easy, and the pool is spotless — it gets cleaned every day! The staff are hardworking and provide excellent customer service. The food was okay, and the overall environment felt safe, especially for kids, making it a good choice for families. My only concern was that there is no AC or fan in the rooms, which I feel is a big drawback. I managed to rent a fan from the hotel itself, but if the management invests in providing fans for every room, this place could easily become a 5-star stay. Overall, it’s definitely worth the money and a comfortable place for families!

Just finished a week in this hotel. Basically the last hotel up away at bottom of mountains. Very windy every day. Pools are freezing cold. The pictures on line are very deceiving. The pictures with bridge at pool are not true representation. Very poor condition and closed off. Sunbeds all around hotel need changing. Very bad condition. The good points are the rooms are huge,clean,and comfortable beds with good mattresses. Waiting to be served in the bar can take a while unless JAIME the barman is on. This man is absolutely fantastic. Kids loved him. Nothing was to much trouble. They should have him train all the bar staff..pool table and football table 1 euro and good condition. The walk to town/the square/ is about 15 minutes. Only 3.50 in a taxi. Taxi rank outside square. 6/10 would be my overall rating. Without JAIME it would be less.A small shop for essentials would be good. Overall for the price it's reasonable. Good 2 star.

Stayed here for a short break in July. The hotel itself is fine. The rooms are huge for a hotel of this type and cost. The onsite restaurant/ bar is great for snacks & fast foods and is great value. The only downside is location. It's a fair walk away from the resort centre; probably about half an hour

First of all I read most of the reviews and I was a little worried where I was going to be staying. Well first off the reception are wonderful, helpful and friendly. The hotel itself I feel has been totally down trodden on here and it isn't fair, the pool is cold yes, but it's a good pool to dip into when it's a hot day, nothing deceiving about the pool/pic whatsoever. The room I had was fantastic, clean,tidy and well equipped, I had the studio, massive balcony, with great views. It's a 15 min walk to the supermarket,yet pretty easy to get to, as is the beach,everyone moaning about the distance should read the description before paying to come here. And unless you have a mobility issue,I'd say most people can walk 15 minutes 🙄 They do have a bus ,free of charge that can take you into the main part also taxis are peanuts (2ish euros ) The fact it's in a quite area I feel is great and perfect for relaxing . Just want to say I thought for what i payed the hotel was really great value for money, clean and the people working there are helpful and friendly I had a great time and would consider re booking if I come back at any point. Oh and little footnote *WiFi worked perfectly fine!

Stayed in villa 3. Private pool , 4 sun loungers, pool umbrella, very private outdoor space with a covered terrace, built in BBQ ,dining table and chairs. Inside 2 bedroom villa with a lounge sofa that converts to a 3rd bed. 2 bathrooms, great rainfall shower. Lounge dinner second dinning table and large sofa 55 inch TV. Kitchen has induction hob microwave kettle Tassimo coffee machine fridge freezer, basically everything you would need. Villas cleaned every 2 days with fresh beach and bathroom towels left. Overall great. Hotel restaurant offers inclusive meals buffet style, great choice and the staff in restaurant are amazing. I would definitely return to this resort and villa

Only back from 2 week holidays here, can’t fault it I was with my two children so the hotel was lovely, room was cleaned every 2 days which was great, location about 15/20 mins from strip which wasn’t bad, taxis are cheap too, staff are really helpful and Gerry (I think his name is) at the pool for entertainment was brilliant! Life to the party! We had breakfast included also and it was lovely, Will be back again in the future.

While we had a wonderful experience last year and chose to return for this summer’s holiday, unfortunately, our stay did not meet the same standard, and we do not plan to return in the future. The hotel’s facilities, location, and pool remain superb, but we encountered significant issues with the air conditioning in our room. The temperature was consistently warm throughout the day, only cooling slightly in the early hours before becoming uncomfortably hot again. The system appeared to be locked at 23-25°C, leaving us unable to adjust it for comfort. Despite multiple visits from maintenance staff, the issue was not resolved. The technicians used a thermometer at the unit (positioned 8 feet high, where airflow was not reaching the room effectively), but we were never informed of their findings. The only solutions offered were a room change—which, after Jet2’s intervention, still presented the same air conditioning problems—or a basic office fan. The new room also had the added inconvenience of being near the entertainment area, resulting in noise disturbances until midnight, which was particularly challenging with two young children. We were initially told that the temperature regulation was due to Spanish law, though my subsequent research indicated that hotels are exempt from such restrictions. The overall handling of the situation was disappointing, and it was only after Jet2’s repeated follow-ups that any action was taken. While we appreciate the hotel’s many strengths, the air conditioning issue significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience.

This is not a very family friendly hotel. The doors do not lock from the inside so if you have young children they can easily let themselves out in the middle of the night. The staff have given us no solution and deny any suggestions we have that would help our situation. We have a 6 year old with autism and currently one adult has to stay awake at all times to make sure he cannot get out. There are big torn bushes right outside the door and the staff are just not very helpful at all.

This place is just so lovely, clean and tge staff are wonderful. It's perfect for families and the entertainment appeared great although I only saw it from a distance. If you have poor mobility, it's a little out of the way, but for people who like to stay in the complex, it's perfect.

Just back from a lovely week at Playa Limones - since arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place is a bit dated but well maintained and clean. Landscapers maintain the property every morning, the pool was cleaned and even though it was self catering it was a pleasant surprise to find out that house keeping comes 5 days a week. Each terrace was roomy, and had two sunbeds which was a huge bonus. The room had all the things you need to enjoy self catering. Such as cutlery, a microwave, fridge, freezer, pan and plates. The location was fabulous- right across the road from the beach Playa Flamingo(a two minute walk downhill). Supermarket spar was a 5 minute walk away but there was a shop that sold all of the essentials at a good price a two minute walk away (turn left when you leave the bungalows.) All cafes and restaurants at a walking distance. We had a fab time and will 100% be back. The only reason a star is docked is the room had no air conditioning, but fans are available to rent from reception. There is big windows which allow the breeze to come in so it wasn’t the end of the world to have no air conditioning. Thank you Playa Limones :)

This “bungalow” is not only dirty – it is a nightmare. Bedbugs in the beds, cockroaches walking on us during the night, filthy sheets. Even after reporting, nothing changed. I felt unsafe, disgusted, and desperate. We left the room in the middle of the night and slept in the car. Holidays completely ruined. Playa Limones is not a holiday resort, it’s a trap. Never, ever go there.

This places is excellent value for money, the bungalows are beautiful the only let down is the decor inside is quite old fashioned. Love sitting on the sun beds at night watching the stars on the veranda. This place is virtually your own home for as long as you stay and can easily make you feel as if you live in Lanzarote. I highly recommend as an experience and would stay again.

Fabulous quiet complex with friendly staff and a nice pool!! I sent a few emails before our stay which were replied to so quickly. The minute we got to the place to check in we were greeted with a nice staff member. Room was spacious, very clean and basic but ideal. Beds were very comfortable and a fan provided which was great. The complex is gated and it closes early so you need a code to get in which felt very safe. Lovely quiet area and walking distance to both towns. Great place!!

One of the best places we stayed was cleaned, well equipped for room only with all cookware, even had a safe and ironing board, and there was not a long walk to bars and the beach. The pool was clean and the pool bar staff were so friendly. The pool table was always available and the food and drink was excellent I would go back here again, the beds were comfy and there was enough space in the rooms with a lovely airy terrace, we got the first a pool view without asking and a front terrace overlooking the road with amazing views into the hills and the sea. Couldn't fault it here at all.

The size of the apartment and the terrace on the upper floor rooms were excellent. Everything necessary was in the apartment itself and for April, it was perfect. However there's no A/C in the apartment - only a ceiling fan in the bedroom and living room, which for someone who suffers with inner ear pain and sinus passages caused by cooler air draughts isn't a great solution. It meant as the weather got a little warmer after the first few days from when we arrived, it was a case of opening the bedroom window to let some air into the bedroom overnight. I sleep with a window open all year round at home in the UK as I need fresh air. So, unless the apartments were fitted with fully operational A/C units to cool the apartment down between May to late October, it's not a place I would consider to stay, which is such a shame... A/C is too drying so I still need fresh air being able to reach the bedroom overnight as long as the room is allowed to cool down before going to bed. Some apartments appeared to have A/C units fitted but I'm unsure if these are privately owned apartments. Definitely worth looking at. That said, the beds were extremely comfortable and we both liked the bolster type pillows that some have complained about. The hill was short and not too steep, just a few minutes walk to the seafront promenade with eateries, bars and restaurants to the left or right upon reaching the seafront. Bus stops at the bottom of the road towards Tias old town and onwards on a circular route to either Arrecife or Costa Teguise. Disembarking from the bus returning from Tias or Playa Blanca, the bus stop is on the higher level main road/highway which means a 10 minute walk downhill and past the Cinco Plaza apartment complex, on the left hand side of the street as you walk towards the Parque Tropical Apts and the Spinnaker Bar (above Hiperdino Supermarket). Absolutely spot on, most rooms are being refurbished and they look great, lovely and clean. The pool attendant tries his best to control the sunbed hoggers who chuck a towel on and go out for the day bless him. The pool area has a carpet like surface which makes it a lot safer and slip free. Main pool could with a shallow end. The apartments are situated on a hill like a lot of other apartment / hotels in the area so if you have mobility issues Puerto Del Carmen may not be the place for you. We will definitely be back to this accommodation.

Stayed in Apartment 16B and it is in a quieter spot . It had a tiny garden but the view was just an old wooden fence, so we didn't bother sitting out there. The apartment was a really good size, very clean and tidy. We had to tune the TV to English channels but all we could get was the news, too depressing for a holiday. The bedroom has two large single beds pushed together and I found them really comfortable. The bathroom was a wet room with a lovely powerful shower. The little kitchen was greatly stocked with all the equipment you would need, we didn't, as I ont cook when away. The complex had lovely swimming pools, smallish, but just right. There is also a bar by the pools and the complex has it's own restaurant called Nico's, expensive but the food was ok. The only downside to this place is the very rude male receptionist. There was never a hello, have a good day etc and when we checked out he just shoved his hand at me and said "Key". Again there was no thank you for staying, come back soon, nada, zilch, nothing not even a smile. He really needs to go to People Pleasing Classs. Our cleaner on the other hand was lovely, always smiling. Overall this little complex is lovely, even though it is uphill from the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

We have just stayed for 2wks, and could not find a fault, location was great. Pool area was brilliant, they have a felt flooring, so people don't slip, and the sunbeds have mattresses on top, to make them comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

We have just got back from a 2 week stay at this hotel. Was a little worried after reading some of the reviews. But can honestly say was amazing place to stay. Rooms clean and tidy everything you need in them (no air con) but they do give you fans and we did take our own after reading the reviews. Great value for food and drinks. We had the most amazing meal at the hotel main restaurant 16 of us and was the best meal we had. The staff working within the pool bar and the main bar are amazing nothing is to much to ask and always so happy and friendly very welcoming. Location I thought was perfect to the main strip or the old town. You can avoid the big hills easily by going along to the supermarket and taking the lift to the 3rd floor. Swimming pool very well managed and looked after and loads of sunbeds. We will definitely go back

Money went missing from our room gradually over the week. We felt that this was an inside job because money only went missing after our room had been 'cleaned'. Initially we thought that maybe we had misplaced the money, it wasn't until our purses were almost completely emptied that we realised the suspicious nature of the incidence. Everyday day we noticed our suitcases were being rearranged as if someone had been rummaging through our things and we thought this was strange. We also noticed that despite cleaning staff coming into our room most days, our room was still dirty and little effort had been made to clean. It seemed to us that the person entering our room was going through our personal items and not cleaning. The money was only kept in the room during the day, when staff enter rooms to clean, and the money was on our persons in the evenings. No jewellery, electronics or valuables went missing from the room, only cash. When we reported this to staff, we felt that the manager that we spoke to was rude and quite unhelpful, we felt they could have done more to support us. After reporting the incident, we saw the same cleaner we reported loitering outside our apartment block the next day which made us feel very uncomfortable. Although she did not enter our room that day we would have appreciated her cleaning a different part of the resort and not outside our room. We felt very uncomfortable and unsafe the rest of our stay. Our room was no longer the safe space we hoped that it would be. Our holiday was ruined. This incident was reported to the police, who were very helpful. However, we have since also seen many other reports and reviews of a similar nature. I understand this is a big allegation of theft to make however the circumstance is very suspicious. We are not silly, we are adults who know how to lock a door, whoever stole the money had continuous access to our room with a key, and was able to take a little each day until we caught on. Other than this, the hotel was nice and relatively clean. The location was good. Some staff were friendly, others were not.

We have recently returned from a 7 night stay and had a fantastic time. The hotel was spotlessly clean, great pools which were cleaned daily. Our room was a very spacious 2 bedroom ground floor apartment, which was cleaned most days by very friendly staff. The reception desk staff were friendly and helpful. The pool bar had a great selection of drinks and snacks with brilliant staff. Location is perfect, close to the old and new town. Overall, it was a fantastic holiday! We are already looking at booking to return.

The hotel has two good pools and a kids pool, indoor and outdoor bars, kids play park etc. plenty of sun loungers available. The half board food isnt great, often cold and sometimes limited options. However the staff are outstanding and go out of their way to help with whatever you need. The bartenders are very friendly and make the experience very pleasant! The rooms are clean but quite dated depending on the room. Overall the hotel is great with amazing staff who make you feel so welcome, but I would avoid the buffet in future.

Just returned home from a week stay at these lovely apartments, everything from start to finish was lovely. There were 6 of us staying here so I requested rooms close together prior to arrival, the request was granted. We had 2 2 bedroom apartments and one one bedroom. The rooms were immaculate, very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was great, it wasn’t too busy so no problem getting sun loungers, the pool bar was ideal and prices were relatively cheap, we ate a few times from there and the food was lovely. This was my first time in Lanzarote and i would without hesitation return to The Santa Rosa, thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Great family orientated hotel. Rooms are very spacious, and well equipped. Reasonable air con, not ice cold but works well enough. A reasonable selection of foods at breakfast such as continental, European, full cooked breakfast, various breads and pastries, plus more. Evening meals are reasonably varied, freshly made and enough variety for adults and kids. Pool is salted water and medium sized, has plenty of sunbeds but these do get snapped up early morning, so be prepared to get up early (around 6am) if you want to have your pick of where to setup for the day. There is a lifeguard on duty from 10am-6pm. Location is good for beach access, for town and restaraunts and local bus service. There is mini golf on site (free to play, putters and balls near reception, 2x racket ball courts, tenpin bowling, kids play areas and kids club. There is an indoor pool for lane swimming, (chlorinated) and a gym for those that want some physical exertion whilst on holiday (weirdos). All in all, it's a great complex and I would recommend for anyone looking for a reasonably priced holiday in Lanzarote.

I stayed here for a week on my own , I requested an apartment near main building and got one , it was immaculate. Travelled with Jet 2 and everything went smoothly . There are a couple of supermarkets close by as well as restaurants and bars , you can do a lovely walk along the promenade from here too. I went Dinner B & B , the food was hot and varied, and definitely high end of three stars . The pool was very cold , perhaps in summer months it will be better , but in a plus there are more than plenty sun loungers , so you never got people putting towels on them , which was nice . Would definitely go back

3rd time in 2 years that my wife and I have been, and we just love it , no kids, no noise , spotless ,this complex have 2 kinds of rooms , studio and one bed room apartments that sleeps 3 or 4 due to fold our beds , perfect temperature pool for the weather in this country and so noce to cool down after chilling on the sun loungers by pool side , the staff are ever so nice and accommodating. Spotless and cleaned regularly with fresh towels and if you are 1 that isnt into taking home ur dirty outfits they have a washing machine on site to make it that bit easier when you get home. CCTV amd coded gate. Spar is across the road and main strip just 200m down the road. If you want a good price with no noise or kids this is the spot 👌. We will be here every year now , cant fault it , Top spot , top location to the main strip without any noise. You get to know the regulars and they are all lovely. Come and see for yourself and as you can see all the positive reviews it's a much loved spot. 😍

Arrived last Wednesday after booking 12mths ago and requesting an upper floor room. My parents had been and loved the place. It was our anniversary and we were looking to spend a lot of time just relaxing in the sun. We were in room 621 on the ground floor. First impression on walking in the room was it was lovely, then when we went in the bathroom things changed. It hadn't been cleaned, the toilet was filthy and reception was closed so we cleaned it ourselves 🤢 I did let them know the following day. There was dirt everywhere, bath mat was full of soap scum and the tiles were full of black scum which I wiped some of it to see, and it does clean away. There was a dirty bread board at the side of the sink with a long hair on it and the utensils hanging near were dirty as was the fridge. Our room wasn't cleaned the entire time we stayed and the cleaner came in on the Monday to just empty the bin. We had no towel change or anything. Lots of reviews say this place is spotless so we were shocked to see it as it was. The complex seemed to have many long term guests who seemed to treat it as their own place and we couldn't sunbathe by the pool due to them putting towels on beds and all congregating, it was uncomfortable. They were actually quite rowdy with no respect for anyone, music was quite loud in the mornings, the bin outside our apartment was constantly overflowing. On our last day we came back to the apartment to find someone had left a magazine on the patio table and chairs were moved into the sun as if someone had been using it whilst we were out, then to top that on the same evening we saw a huge cockroach crawl out from behind the bathroom door frame. The complex is in a fantastic location however we just felt totally let down by everything whilst there and would never stay there again. It's quite sad when we had really looked forward to going. Second stay here, last time about 4 years ago, this place has changed since last time and not for the better! We was in room 621 and totaly agree with the review debbie put on 2 months ago!! Rooms are well due a refurb and as far as cleaning go,s forget it, we had to clean everything and we had to ask for clean towels, shower head was broke and we told reception but never got fixed, would not stay again many others in the same area,

This was our third visit to these apartments. A very small, adult only complex comprising of about 24 apartments. They are very basic studio apartments, an open plan kitchen/bedroom with a bathroom. Nearly all the apartments have either a terrace or balcony over looking the small unheated pool. There are about 12 sun loungers situated around the pool and my only complaint was the early morning sunbed baggers, who would put towels out, then go out for a good few hours preventing other people from using them. We stayed for three weeks and saw a big turnover of guests and they all seemed to want to do it. The apartments themselves are dated with very basic cooking equipment and utensils. A 2 ring hob and a microwave. 3 forks, 3 knives and 3 spoons. 3 cups, plates and 2 bowls. You can ask for more apparently but we managed. The apartments are serviced with a basic clean and towel change once a week and a more thorough clean, bedding and towel change once a week. It’s clean and the beds are very comfy and very quiet at night. We don’t need much moreVery close to the strip, within walking distance of lovely restaurants, bars and the beach, just in case you don’t get up early enough to bag a sunbed. The staff are lovely and assist as much as they can. It ticks all the boxes for us despite being basic. We will definitely return.

My partner and I just returned from a week stay at Bitacora. Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel. It is very clean and well kept. The staff are absolutely lovely throughout the hotel. We were a bit put off by the location at first but to be honest it wasn't bad at all, maybe a 10 minute walk down to the front. The trip back up the hill is a bit harder but not as bad as we were expecting and you get used to it. Our room was great with a well kitted out kitchenette (which we didn't really use), great balcony, and excellent aircon (needed!). Roomservice came every other day to replace towels, bed linens, etc. Our only disappointment was the sunbeds. On our first morning we headed out to the pool area at around 9am but literally every sunbed was claimed by a towel despite the fact only 2 other people were around the pool. This happened every day. One morning (around 8am) we watched a man with a cup of tea in one hand, about 7 towels in the other, lay down towels on a row of sunbeds, then head back to bed and didn't use the sunbeds til mid-afternoon. This resulted in the weird situation where each day until mid-afternoon the pool area would be virtually empty but no sunbeds would be available because they'd been claimed by towels and pegs. This is obviously more of an issue with the guests than the hotel, but I do feel the hotel could do something to try and discourage this selfish behaviour.

A bit late but I feel it's necessary to post. So I've stayed here 3 times now and probably won't again due to the receptionist (not the gentleman with glasses, he was an absolute diamond)and owners being absolute tight arses and not heating the pool, even after many requests. I jumped in and it took my breath away it was so cold. This took a lot of fun away from not only ours but many people's holiday as it was about 9 or 10 degrees. Apparently it only gets heated when the owners are there, which was great to hear!! Other than that this is a great place let down by moody management!!!

Lovely place. Really friendly and helpful reception guy who we really appreciated! 10stars! Had issue with soap dispenser that was dealt with. Booked a day trip for us the minute we arrived and enquired. Helped with all questions/concerns we had. Rooms are spacious enough, there's a bit of a smell in bathroom if you keep windows closed so better make sure you're airing the bathroom. We don't smoke so was a bit annoyed when neighbours smoked in front of their doors as smoke was getting in if we had doors open. We might of been lucky but it was nice and quiet at night time ( went Monday till Friday) tiny gym I haven't had time to use but it's something if you want to have a little session while away. The hotel is on a bit of a hill so if you have mobility issues you might struggle. About 10-15 min from the beach. About the same to bus stop if you going to/from airport. If you take taxi- we paid €16 to go back to airport.

This is a great location. It’s close to the main central strip and beach. The grounds here are immaculately kept and the pool is very good - deep around though so flotation devices for kids is a good idea. Having said that the pool area and pool are quiet. The apartment we had was nice if a little tired. It was hot when we were there in August and 3 people so needed an extra fan staff were so helpful and got one straight away. Mosquitoes are an issue if you leave windows open at night for me - rest of family weren’t to bad. Would highly recommend

We stayed here for 8 nights and loved it! The apartment was clean and they cleaned the pool every morning! It also wasn’t too crowded. If you are a 5star all inclusive person this might not be your cup of tea but I think it’s a lovely little accommodation, close to Spar and the beach on a little hill🌊🐚 they also had everything in the kitchen so cooking is easy. Check in and check out was very easy

My 5 stars go mainly to the spa. I had an amazingly relaxing massage with an expert, Gabriella from Argentina. She intuitively combined exactly the treatments that felt great and released my tense spots (hello jaw muscles!). I booked my session in the spa center itself instead of by the pool: it’s so much quieter and more peaceful there - and I can highly recommend it to all stressed-out parents: a wonderful little escape at a fair price. It was simply perfect💫. I also want to give a shout-out to the team: from room service to the restaurant staff, the entertainment crew, and the kids’ club — despite having so much work, every single staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve rarely met such a lovely team!

Overall the hotel was great, perfect location right on the beach and it was nice for once that there was no elevators every time you want to go back to the room. The service from the staff and the reps were great, every time we went for something to eat they couldn’t help enough fantastic. The reps for activities and entertainment were also brilliant, everybody was included all the time. Especially Natalia she was great with the kids, energetic and flamboyant. The only thing that I would really mark down was the room, it just smelt like drains. AC didn’t work the best and the gate to the room was very difficult to open and close, cleaners cleaned up very tidy. Other than that everything was spot on, I would come again.

There was an issue with the air conditioning which didn't work. Reception sent an engineer who couldn't fix it and we remained without for the rest of the stay which can be an issue when the temperature is in the high 20s. The hot water didn't work in the bathroom tap and when you turned it on it was like bullet fire. That aside, the holiday was actually lovely. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk to the beach or stay by the pool where there are various activities to join in with for both adults and children. The one shining quality from this hotel for me was the staff. The reps, reception, restaurant staff, bar staff and housekeeping were always working hard and always had time for a smile and a pleasant greeting. The food was fantastic and had a different theme every night with plenty to choose from.

Great place to stay only 30 minutes from the airport! More people working than I've ever seen anywhere, constantly tidying up cleaning and clearing all friendly and polite. We stayed with our 2 children and they loved it. Plenty of pools, great beach and good facilities only tiny downside was the room needed modernising but it was faultlessly clean and comfortable. Onsite shop,games rooms, outdoor pool tables, huge buffet and lots of inclusive drinks! Would go back again

Our Room was tidy,neat,very well decorated and was relatively clean apart from dust and some ants in the bathroom , the cleaners came every other day and were very polite , reception staff were also polite however the only major issue was that upon arrival we were not told a time to check out , so on the final day of our stay we got a phone call from reception at 12:30pm saying that we were supposed to leave the room by 12pm and that if we didn't leave the room as soon as possible then we would be charged an extra fee. we were able to leave the room an check out quickly so we're not charged however this is still not acceptable as we were not ever pre-warned about this check out time which should have been given to us along with the information upon arrival to the hotel. This resulted in us having to leave when we were not at all ready and having to pack our suitcases in a very rushed Manor, this also ment we had no plan for when we left the hotel as our flight was a lot later in the day.

Stayed here for 2 weeks March/April. Had a first floor apartment. It had a small kitchen area, with a double hob and microwave, kettle, toaster, pots & pans, and crockery, cutlery etc. Good size lounge area with door onto private balcony with a table and 2 chairs, and a sun lounger. In the mezzanine bedroom are very comfortable twin beds, with pillows i wanted to bring home! And a bathroom, with shower over the bath. The complex itself does have quite alot of steps. I have arthritis, and did struggle a bit at times, though when we arrived, they had someone take the suitcase up for us. We didn't eat on site, so can't comment on the food, nor did we use the pool bar. There were always sunbeds available around all of the pools. Cleaners came regularly, with clean towels & bedding. The complex is opposite Pueblo Marinero, loads of bars & restaurants, and just about next door to a spar shop, where we managed to get English bacon and bread. The staff at Nazaret. What can I say? They are absolutely brilliant! We met a few different people on reception, all of them extremely friendly and helpful. They all seem to genuinely enjoy being there and go above and beyond. Would I return? Absolutely yes!!

Glad we trusted the positive reviews. We arrived at about 12:30 and our room was ready. The pools are lovely, the rooms have all you need, and there's a laundry room too (you do have to pay which is fair). Staff were friendly and helpful, couldn't have been nicer. The location is great, near beaches, restaurants, and shops. Taxi rank and bus stop right outside. The location itself is surprisingly quiet but my only negative is the noise in the room. If you have noisy people next door like we did you'll want some earplugs. It's a clean place that's good value for money and would suit most people. Overall would definitely recommend.

The hotel is outdated and needs serious renovation. I had one of the worst nights of my life—the room was small and stuffy, the bed was rock hard, and the only blanket was a dirty wool one. The heating didn’t work, and the room was freezing. Breakfast was decent, but everything else was disappointing. There were ants in the room, drinks were low-quality, service stopped at 11 PM, and even pool towels weren’t free. The hotel felt lifeless. The rating is overrated. The only good things were the friendly staff, food variety, and beachfront location.

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel! The whole place was neat and clean, the rooms were big and comfy, and the pool area was quiet and beautiful — perfect for chilling out. Great spot for a relaxing holiday. We have luck and been upgraded, that was another plus. Negative note is the missing of the entertainment by the pool, but maybe that was better, we have more privacy and enjoyed the silence. We just returned from our vacation on Lanzarote staying at Apartmentos LIVVO Coloradamar and we can 100% recommend these apartments for people and families who enjoy a calm vacation with the amenities of a hotel (such as breakfast if booked, pool area, regular cleaning and exchange of towels,...) AND the flexibility and individuality of an apartment with a kitchen and a calm surrounding. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All in all a down to earth nice location. The apartments have two bedrooms, one always has a normal bed, the other bedroom has either a couch, which can be turned into a bed, or a normal bed. So they are suitable for up to 4 people. I recommend the version with the convertible couch only for families of 3 or if the kids are not yet teenagers because the couch is a bit smaller than the normal bed. For us it (two kids

If you would like a quiet holiday but with the holiday feeling and close enough to shops and restaurants this is the place. We had an individual bungalow with back garden, table, chairs and sun loungers and straight out to the pool at the front with loungers and Bali beds (extra you book when you choose your accommodation). Quiet pool, never an issue to get beds. You can get breakfast at Dreams Bocayna across the road if included or pay €10 for the lovely buffet breakfast. More like a villa holiday. Lovely quiet area but close to shops and many lovely restaurants just across the road. Supermarkets close by 5 minutes walk to beach or 15 mins over the cliffs to sandy Papagayo beach. Walk along promenade to Marina Rubicon with markets Sunday and Wednesday (tourist market not produce) 5/10 mins in car to touristy Playa Blanca - it's ok but not as quiet as this area (Las Coloradas). Hire a car from Cabrera Medina no weird extras or excess, you pay what you pay, but the bus is right outside reception and every 20 mins. Library in reception. Very friendly and helpful. Reception only open 8-1pm so if you arrive outside these times will need to call or text the number for your codes to get in then check in next day. Absolutely great. Definitely would recommend and come again.

I stayed at Apartamentos LIVVO Oasis for a week during my holidays in Lanzarote and it was great. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and with the kitchen equipped with the main appliances. Cleaning was done 3 days during my week, which I found very efficient. Receptionist and cleaning ladies were very friendly and always with a smile. The location was perfect, just 5 minute walk from the street with all of the shops and the playa. The only downside is that there’s no air conditioning in the room, which wasn’t great especially those night which was very hot. Also, my room was overlooking to the swimming pool of another hotel/apartamentos and some of the nights were very noisy due to kids/people screaming there. This is something should probably be addressed as it doesn’t help if you want to rest properly. I would definitely recommend it

Jet2 holiday. We agreed to accept their recommendation to stay here when our original booking was cancelled because our usual apartments were being renovated. Our booking email, hotel voucher, etc, clearly stated we'd booked a superior room. We arrived at 10 pm. Reception was closed, but the direction to our apartment was clearly shown. No air conditioning, so clearly a standard room. When I checked in the next morning, the receptionist showed me her booking from Jet2 showing a standard room, and no superior rooms were available . She was a bit abrupt . I saw the Jet2 representative that morning and eventually ascertained that Jet2 had made the error and offered and accepted compensation. That resolved, everything else was good. The staff were excellent. Charlie on the pool bar was a character. The cleaners were cheerful. Everything was clean . The bar meals were good. The pool was cordoned off until 9.30 a.m., so there were no stupid early morning sunbed wars. The location is good and quiet. Our apartment was clean and tidy and equipped with what we needed. The apartments are a bit close together, making the patio areas not private, but our neighbours were nice. A lick of paint on the white gloss work and the bathroom tiles regrouting would really lift things. Overall, it was a nice relaxing holiday, especially no sunbed claiming at 6am. We'll probably return.

It all started so well. Until 4 days into our stay. We got back from the beach just after 6 on a Saturday to find the 2 apartments our family were staying in had been flooded by a burst pipe in the apartment above. Reception had closed at 4pm and the pool guy was not interested. I tried the emergency telephone no. Which went to a Spanish voice mail 4 times. I left 2 mesages.....nothing! A joke! My wife had to contact the holiday company as we had to empty our rooms from the non stop water. Whilst doing this some opportunist took one of the boys bags with his sunglasses and headphones in (luckily not passport or phone)He was devastated to find his belongings had been taken.we were eventually moved to much nicer apartments but went back to complain to the hotel the next morning. The receptionist was unhelpful. Unable to do anything or explain why an emergency telephone number is not answered when there is a genuine emergency. I was asked to come back the following day to speak with the boss which i did, but who ever they were did not want to talk to me and again i had to deal with the poor receptionist who could do little to nothing to help. I would not concider this hotel again, other reviews have also spoken about leaks and burst pipes and if reception is closed, you are bang out of luck, just like the family who arrived to the flooded apartment above ours as we were leaving with absolutely nobody to report it to. Shocking really!

Just spent 2 weeks at the Livvo Oasis and will definitely going back. The staff are friendly and hard working. The complex is clean and well looked after by the maintenance team. Extremely Unprofessional and Hostile Front Desk Experience Our experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing due to the unprofessional and hostile behavior of the front desk staff. Upon arrival, we were informed that our room was not ready, so we waited at the pool restaurant. When we returned to check in, there was confusion regarding our payment. We had booked and paid for three nights through Booking.com, however, the front desk staff insisted we had only paid for one night and demanded additional payment for the remaining two nights. Understanding that mistakes can happen, I calmly stated that I needed to contact Booking.com to verify the payment before making any additional charges. Instead of assisting us, the front desk woman became dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. She smirked at our attempts to clarify the issue and displayed aggressive body language, standing with her arms crossed as if we were causing a problem rather than trying to resolve one. While we attempted to resolve the issue by contacting Booking.com, I messaged the hotel’s customer service via the app, asking if another staff member could assist us. Instead of responding professionally, the same front desk woman smugly commented, *"Just so you know, I can see everything you message."* This further demonstrated her lack of professionalism and basic customer service skills. When my friend reached for the printed receipt lying on the counter, the front desk woman aggressively tried to snatch it away, leading to a brief struggle. At this point, the situation had escalated beyond reason. To document what was happening, I started recording the interaction—something I felt was necessary given how hostile and inappropriate the staff’s behavior had become. The moment I did, the front desk woman panicked and immediately called the police. Within a minute, five policemen arrived. Only one spoke some English, so they asked the same front desk woman—who had created the issue in the first place—to translate. This felt like a surreal and unfair situation. I explained that I was still on the phone with Booking.com and waiting for them to send an official invoice (which the front desk demanded instead of my confirmation email). The police agreed to wait while I resolved the matter. My friend told them we no longer wished to stay at this hotel due to the staff’s rudeness, and despite the stressful encounter, the police were understanding, and Booking.com ultimately resolved the issue by relocating us to another hotel, where we had a smooth check-in and a pleasant stay. As someone with years of experience in hospitality, I understand that misunderstandings can happen, however, how a hotel staff handles them makes all the difference. The level of hostility and unprofessionalism we experienced here was completely unacceptable. No guest should ever be treated this way, especially in a hospitality setting where courtesy and problem-solving skills are essential. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting basic courtesy and customer service.

My cousin and I had an incredible stay, we felt good from the moment we arrived at the hotel. A warm and friendly welcome from Natalia, then the apartment was very nice with a beautiful living and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom with a very comfortable shower. Then the pool is very quiet, ideal for relaxing. We were incredibly well served by Daniella as well as Lorenzo at the reception to answer any questions (activities, shops, etc.), smiling and very friendly people. Staff are wonderful, especially Daniella, she absolutely made our holiday. Location is too remote for me personally and the food at the pool bar is nice but no choice at all. Unless you like avocado toast the choice is burger or hot dog. Thats it. People reserve sunbeds all day and dont use them despite the staff's best efforts to enforce their "15 minute" rule. The apartments themselves are lovely, we were in a ground floor. One bad point was a persistant slight "sewage" smell in the bathroom. This was also quite strong in the room with the washing machines. I woupd stay again but it would very much be towards the bottom of my list of options for apartments. I prefer somewhere much more central and adults only.

Great location. Very clean and simple. Although the AMOUNT of extra charges I got hit by when I left wasn’t normal. Got charged for a different room altogether, then for some Water Foundation thing and then late checkout even though I was gone by 9:50am. No fresh towels available unless you pay almost €30. Food was dreadful (but we expected that) and over priced for the quality. Other than that, it was great.

I really enjoyed Club Del Carmen for the four nights me and my partner stayed. Clean and quiet, our view wasn't the best as we were behind the baily bar but honestly wasn't a big deal. Any staff I spoke to was really nice and happy to help. Would definitely stay again.

Been coming back to the island for years and I swore up and down I wouldn’t stay in PDC, but after canceling at two unclean bnbs I snagged an apartment here. Units are impeccably clean, friendly staff, good bar, heated pools, water filtration system in the units AND you can actually find parking here, unlike anywhere else in the town. Mostly old people, so be aware, it’s not a party friendly place, but the guests are very friendly as well. Two bafflingly bad rules: only 2 sunbeds can be reserved per unit at a time and the pool closes at 6pm. Make it 7-8pm please, other than these, perfect place.

Stayed for a week at the end of May. I can only say the service we received was superb. I have reduced mobility and wanted to hire a mobility scooter. The management mad a wooden ramp so that I could get the scooter up the step to the front door, they provided 2 new sunloungers for our patio in case I couldn’t get to the pool. The walk in shower was superb and the twin beds comfortable. We had a fabulous week and all the staff were so very helpful.

Well stocked rooms in regard to amenities. Very quiet during the Easter holidays. Quite windy but this is apparently the nature of the island. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and the rooms were kept clean. Pool was a little chilly but still fun to use. Beach is super close but I would recommend hiring a bike to reach the busier towns more easily or using the public transport facilities if walking far is problematic. All in all worth the money and the kids loved it.

Very clean apartment, all close to the pool. The beach front is great about 4 mins stroll even if you're in one of the furthest away apartments. Very nice local area, supermarket round the corner too, loads of restaurants and bars nearby.

Stayed here for 9 nights. Great location, and apartments are basic. First thing we noticed when we arrived NO inflatables allowed in the pools, no ball games, no music. So if you are staying with kids, i would not recommend this place. Also says pool is heated, it's not!!!!!!! Beds are very hard, not enough pillows, and 1 very thin pillow each. Never had enough hot water for us all to shower (3 of us) water only lasted for 1 hotish shower. We have 2 nights left of our stay, and still our sheets haven't been changed. We arrived on a Tuesday in the evening, they don't do cleaning on a Sunday so we expected to have clean sheets yesterday (Monday) we we're out all day in the car aswell, so they had opportunity to do this. Also no door on the freezer compartment, so we couldn't buy ice or ice cream as they didn't stay frozen. Also something that isn't mentioned you are very close to the airport, pretty much on the flight path. So you will hear planes from 7am until 10pm most days.

I was frightened to see our apartment at first due to the disappointing reviews but I was very happy with everything about this place and did not stumble across any issues. Customer service at the desk is decent but at the snack bar the women and man are extremely cheery and pleasant and not afraid to have a laugh with also great food at the snack bar with plenty of options to choose from. Great location great service I wouldn’t say the cleaning is great but it is decent enough to tolerate. I highly recommend

This would be a four star as it’s a wonderful location near the old village and beside the biosphere shopping centre. Lots off shops coffee shops good restaurants beside location. Has two swimming pools and a snack bar both pools clean neat tidy and well maintained. Rooms were nice clean and tidy also. Maids in most days cleaning and changing towels. Staff all lovely. The one major and I feel it’s major which lets this place down is the AirCon. It’s advertised as air con and it’s there and it’s on working. But they have it turned down or off. Even at its lowest setting it was blowing out warm air. I said twice to reception but nothing happened so I asked other guests and they all said same thing. It’s not a cheap place and I paid for it because Off air con. Critical in the summer. The place was just to warm for two weeks in June. Tiring and just makes everyone in bad mood after a few days. I’d recommend this place for winter but if you don’t like heat in the apartment then I’d think on summer. But overall wonderful place

Very last-minute booking for this break. Large complex but very quiet. Gardens well maintained with beautiful plants and flowers. 2 pools and a toddler pool with supervision. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool, but we are beach people. Apartment part modern, part dated. Reception ladies and caretaking staff are very friendly. The location is excellent for the town and beach.

9 days in lanzarote and where did I stay? Labranda El dorado. What an experience the views from the balcony were amazing. The cleanliness of everything was amazing. A few ants here and there but thats to be expected considering its a warm atmosphere. The room was extremely clean and easy to find. The cleaning crew that was out to service the rooms were always smiling and pleasant. The location of this resort is very well positioned. You have a set of shops not even 2 mins away from the reception. A beach which is approx 5 mins walk away and a shopping centre out the back and its less than 1 minute walk. The restaurants and bars are also mixed in amongst the shops. I would really recommend to anyone wishing to make a holiday they will remember to look no further than labranda el dorado

Disappointing stay, tired and tatty decor never 3star. bathroom flooded every time you had shower and reported it 4 times to reception,but didn't seem interested just gave us towels to mop up the floors, also digging up the drain next to the pool so 4 days of a jackhammer going for hours on end.Apart from that it is in a good location neat the old town and new shopping complex and beach. Wouldn't choose to stay there again.

First time back here in 25 years not much has changed. Just breakfast could do with a better choice. This hotel is very clean everywhere. The rooms are cleaned every day and fresh towels. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The pool area is lovely and relaxing. Plenty of beds to be found all day. If you leave your towels on the sunbeds and you're not there they will be removed after a certain time which is great. I hope I do not wait another 25 years to return.

Good hotel. nice and clean. drastically needs air con during hotter months. they gave us a free standing fan but wasnt good enough when its soo warm at night. Staff lovely and friendly. Food/drinks reasonably priced and decent quality from bar near pool/reception. Lofe guard on duty from 10am. If towels on beds for more than an hour with no one on them the towels were removed. Not really enough beds for the amount of people that stay here. There is an area for over 18s but majority of people wanted to be by pool meaning those with kids lost out on beds. We are still here and having a fantastic stay. Would I come back - quite likely

Only downside to staying here was the male lifeguard on the pool. He did his best to drain the life and fun out of all the kids holidays. Wouldn't allow as much as a ball being passed among family. In the event of an emergency he'd have been in the toilets smoking. Not good.

Loved our visit and will be back as it was spotlessly clean, grounds and pool well maintained, and very central to all amenities. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One downfall- half way through our trip, the large beer glass was reduced to a small glass, and the small glass was reduced to a smaller glass. Price stayed the same, so definitely better options regards value for drink around. WiFi was poor in our apartment, it couldn't be used in our bedroom.

This complex is beautiful. The staff are so friendly and very helpful. Always willing to go above and beyond to help. Good choice of food for breakfast and dinner in main restaurant. And great selection at pool bar for lunch or snacks. Only issue was trying to get anywhere outwith the complex if you are not very mobile. The surrounding area is very hilly. I was here with my friend and her family. Her 27 year old son is wheelchair bound and we had to rely on an accessible taxis to get to and from places. Again the hotel were great with assisting with this however sometimes we still did wait for a long time for a taxi. This was absolutely no fault of the hotel staff. It may benefit the complex to look into getting their own accessible vehicle and offering this as a taxi service.

Had a lovely chilled week here. Great pool, gym and nicely laid out grounds. The staff are exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much bother. The breakfast is very good. The quality of food is very good. We were bed and breakfast but did eat in the evening a couple of times. Very relaxing place away from the noise and busy strip.

Lovely hotel which is inclusive and accessible. Rooms are quite basic but have everything you need, very comfortable bed. I went in January and whilst cloudy on some days overall the weather was sundress worthy I felt safe here when travelling alone, the staff were really kind. Still working on my Spanish.. Breakfast was brilliant, huge selection and all fresh. Abundance of teas, fresh smoothies pastries cooked breakfast, cold meats etc Great onsite pool, beach bar, gym and spa facilities It feels like a mini health village, they give you a map on arrival. There is a little walk to the nearest beach but I personally preferred this. Ranch Texas is nearby which is worth visiting Lanzarote a cabello pick up from this location if you fancy going for a trek Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxed location

Highly recommended place. My third time staying there. We stayed in Nazaret apartments each time and we were super happy again this time again. Myself my wife and two teenage children all loved it. The complex is very relaxed, quiet, with friendly and helpful staff. It's very clean everywhere and has beautiful planting so although you are in the middle of town. It doesn't feel like that with plants trees birds around. There are staff cleaning and maintaining around the complex all the time. This time we had an unfortunate medical emergency when my 14 year old daughter dislocated her knee. I went to reception and Sara was an absolute star in how she contacted emergency services. She called them again to follow up and called me to reassure us they were on their way. When the paramedics arrived she came to our apartment and did translation. Her calm and helpful personality put everyone at ease in what was a worrying experience. (My daughter is fine) We'll be back 😁

We've stayed here 3 times now and are very satisfied with the complex. Rooms are fantastic and it's location for bars, restaurants, shopping and even the buses is perfect. Well worth staying in for self catering, bed and breakfast, or half board.

Booked for 10 nights but left after 5 and moved to a different hotel. Had 5 nights of little to no sleep due to issues and owner didn't seem sympathetic. Our baby ended up sick with a chest infection after it. 1. Cockroaches in our apartment. Outside of apartments in common areas. Around the pool. Both day and night. Owners response was they fumigate twice a week and that it's impossible to stop them on Lanzarote. Moved us after 3 nights to an apartment further from the bins but they were also an issue in the new apartment. Other guests spoke of similar issues. People were running away from them at the pool in the middle of the day. 2. Air con didn't work. The controller allows you to set desired temp but this function isn't actually available, it just stays on after it reaches this. So you need to get up to switch on and off through night to regulate temp correctly. Owners response was that the temperature is set to the same temp throughout the complex and that you can't set temp. They got a maintenance man to come and set the temp in our apartment at 20 degrees as we had a small baby, but this didn't work. It continued to just get colder. Also told us that it doesn't work as a heating function, but that wasn't relevant to us. 3. The first apartment we were given that we spent 3 nights in had serious damp issues. Apartment 102. Our clothes were damp to the touch. Owners response was open a window. We did that and it let more cockroaches in. Our baby monitor showed humidity of 82%. 4. Disabled/buggy lifts don't work and there are no intentions of fixing them. I asked for a partial refund for our first 3 nights accommodation costs as we had paid a very high price for what was a very upsetting and exhausting experience, with a 4 month old baby also. This was refused and we were offered free breakfast and dinner for our stay which I refused as they seemed so unphased by the cockroach issues, I wouldn't eat anything from the hotel. We were then offered a refund for the remainder of our stay if we wished to leave, which I accepted as it was clear the cockroach situation wasn't going to get any better. The worst hospitality I've experienced in Lanzarote and a very stressful one with a small baby.

Enjoyed ourselves, we are going to book again but in the apartments as less stairs to climb. We hope to come back in July of this year. We made lots of new friends and found your bar lady Carmen a delight as she couldn't do enough for us, what a lovely lady, hope the hotel thinks highly of her. Brilliant position the hotel is in as restaurants bars and beach just across the road, couldn't get much closer just great if you have difficult walking. Beds very very comfortable. Never have to worry about getting a sun bed, but still people put their towels on sunbeds early and never went on sunloungers for 4 hours, which should never happen. In all a lovely experience. We returned first two weeks in July, the apartments are great, dish washer, washing machine, cooker, micro oven. Aircon, safe and beech towels all in with the price. Apartments spotless will definitely be back, worth every penny, just love it. Oh just remembered dishwasher tablets and washing tabs all supplied. Great place.

Loved it here, very relaxing. The food was delicious and varied. We thought we would eat out most evenings. After a few nights out we decided the hotel food to be our favourite..... .....5 YEARS ON..... we actually thought the appartments we far better than we remembered! However, because of our last experience we booked half board, mistake! The food was not to expectations boring and cold (use mic for everything) so much so; we decided eat out for remainder of our holiday. INCREDIBLY COLD apparment in the evenings with no warm air-conditioning WHY? It was February!!!! We would most definitely return but self catering in warmer months. Loved pool bar, should be open in evenings. Spotless complex

We’re currently spending a wonderful and relaxing week here at Relaxia Lanzasur with our family, and we’re absolutely loving it. One of the biggest highlights for us is definitely the animation team – they bring so much joy and energy every single day and have made our stay even more special. Our daughter especially enjoys spending time with Christian and Sophia during the Blue Carpet – she looks forward to it every day! We truly feel at home here. For me, this is the perfect hotel – everything just fits. I can already say that we’ll definitely be coming back later this year. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great family vacation!

Our experience staying at the relaxia has been good. The rooms we stayed in are a little dated and could be cleaned better. The food is ok, was a lot of the same thing so we ended up eating out a few times, it can be quite slow at times getting out especially at the pool bar. The animation team are AMAZING! Really make an effort with the children, and Samantha looks after them so well in the children’s club involving them all in the mini disco! Ours especially loved the foam party, inflatables and the fire show in which Kate is so good in!

We have had alot of fun. All staff especially the entertainment team are very very good. Emanuel and Bryan were fun and friendly. They interacted with all. I would recommend this hotel. You have full free access to the adjacent waterpark using your all inclusive at lunch time. Main bedroom fine but no air conditioning in the lounge which does need updating.

We are coming to the end of our two amazing weeks at Relaxia Lanzasur Club, and honestly, it has been exactly what we needed. The kids have been in their element — especially at Aqualava Waterpark. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the apartment, so we’ve spent many afternoons there, soaking up the sunshine and watching them race down the slides again and again. From the moment we arrived, the staff have made us feel so welcome. The entertainment team have been brilliant, always bringing the fun. My children really clicked with Kate — she has this way of making every child feel special, and they’ve been so excited to see her each day. Our apartment has been spotlessly clean, really comfortable, and spacious enough for all our things. Whenever we’ve needed anything, the staff have been quick to help and always with a smile. It’s one of those holidays where you leave with a full camera roll and even fuller hearts. We’d come back in a heartbeat and would recommend it to any family wanting a relaxed, friendly, and fun break together.

Into our third day, the hotel is quiet which we like, there are plenty of sunbeds around the pool. It's quite windy which makes the sun pleasant rather than too hot. Lying on a sunbed keeps you out of the wind but still let's you feel a nice breeze. The rooms are nice , we are on the upper level which involves steps, request a ground floor room if you can't do steps. The food is very good, the only downside is the restaurant is below ground ( still gets natural light through a large window but you can't dine in the sun. We arrived at 10.30pm after the food had finished but they brought us two plates of cold meat, pasta and bread to our room. It was really good. The entertainment is good too. Just came second in a table tennis tournament. We came for a relaxing holiday and that's exactly what we're getting. At a great price too.

Hotel was quiet and relaxing. Good location. Rooms were cleaned daily with towels changed every two days. It was very busy whilst we were there and staff in the restuarants although friendly were always very busy - there wasn't enough of them. Choice of good was limited and often repetitive. There was a rule which was that you couldn't reserve a sunbed until 9 am great idea but as there wasn't enough beds for all guests beds were reserved earlier! Entertainment wasn't great in the evenings unfortunately and we ended up going into town a few times which we don't normally do when all inclusive.

Bathroom needs a really good refurb. Ceiling and shower door especially. (Looks like they’ve put in a new sink and toilet). Bar was a joke as we were not all inclusive. There was no till so we had to order the drinks, they gave us a receipt which we had to take to reception and pay reception, then given another receipt to take back to the bar and collect our drinks. Not what you want to do on holiday!! So needless to say we only did this a couple of times WiFi was very good. Bed was very comfortable.

Food was okay, only problem was it was repetitive. Pool was okay, few tiles missing (people were making a game of pulling them off) rather deep, even near the steps. Room were clean and cleaned by cleaner regularly. Free WiFi was only connected in certain areas or the complex. Most of the staff were lovely and polite, only 1 or 2 staff members were a tad moody. Snack bar not included on All Inclusive and the cocktails included We're not that cracking as from a machine. Our group were there for 10nights had a pleasant time.

I am just back from a 9 night stay and before I went I was a bit panicky about the reviews. Yes it’s 3 star and a bit dated but our apartment fine. It was clean and Bed and bathroom was clean and sheets were spotless. . Every day except 2 , cleaners were in. Staff were friendly from reception staff, cleaners, bar and dining room staff. We were AL but went out a lot. When we did eat the food was slightly limited but good and tasty. A couple of afternoons we noted games taking place. I cannot comment on night entertainment as we were out. The whole complex was kept clean a couple of days staff were even mopping the paths outside. There are lots of steps. We counted from street level to our room 71 but we got used them!! The location was great so close to harbour and old town We heard no stories of thefts while we were there. The only negative is the air con or lack off. In the living room area and bedroom there were old fashioned ceiling fans which were not the best. Now I’ve been I don’t know why I was so worried pre holiday due to some bad reviews I would go back but next time self catering as the resort is so cheap to eat and drink out. Hope this helps a bit xx

Stayed 2 weeks ago, previous reviews seem to be isolated incidents. Excellent place to stay for the price paid. Location and hotel views are perfect. Staff are welcoming, efficient, and reliable. Rooms are basic, in need of touch-ups, and maybe some updating but have nostalgic charm. Although it does seem that the hotel may be updating room by room? We noticed some balconies featured updated fencing. Bed sheets were spotless and not a spec of dust to be found. Would recommend and stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I arrived earlier today and was quite nervous going by some of the reviews and all I will say is that these people who have left stinking reviews, were clearly seeking 5 star accommodation with doors being held open for them and luxurious apartments but I can clarify this by saying that these apartments are delightful....their location is so ideal, the pool is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I cannot fault them . Even though the safe in my room was a little tricky, a lovely friendly maintenance guy was up within half an hour to sort it out. So if you are reading this and have also read the other negative reviews, I would say to come and make up your own mind about it because I cannot fault it. It's clean, basic, friendly, relaxed and all you need for a sun holiday 😎

Hotel has a good location away from any hustle and has a spacious and free parking right in front of it. Those who are not comming by car might struggle to get to a nearest bust stop as the main road is quite far away, but that is the price for being in a rural area. Hotel consists of small villas, ours had 3 rooms, but as every villa looks the same from the outside, I guess it is a standard. Place is spacious, with private terrace, ours had sea view, which added nice touch to a morning coffee. The rooms are showing signs of age and wear, the furniture is old and the beds are far from being comfortable and are noisy as they are spring-based. The hotel's staff members are a welcoming and accommodating. Throughout our stay, they consistently displayed a warm and helpful attitude, which added a positive touch to our experience. Hotel has a swimming pool and while it is not extraordinary, the swimming pool area served its purpose. One downside was the children's pool as it was closed during our stay. There is also a children's playground, but it consists of only a basic equipment. There is also a restaurant and a bar but we didn't attend either. One of the neat features of this hotel is its access to a oceanfront promenade, allowing us to take strolls by the ocean and enjoy breathtaking views of waves hitting the cliffs and sunsets.

Great place on the water with spaced out villas and a central pool with restaurant. The included breakfast was great. Location is away from the main area of town, great if you have a car or want peace and quiet. Staff helpful too. Our room had a slightly leaky roof in one room which wasn't a problem as there is little rain on the island. Stove top was not strong enough to cook quickly if you are self catering. All up a really enjoyable stay.

Great wee find of a complex. Beautiful vistas and walks along the sea front. Not far to local cafes, bars and shop. Staff are Great, especially Carlos who managers the dining area. As this complex is self catering would suggest you ensure you get juice, milk, tea and coffee for the villa. Dinner is limited but very tasty and good choice of meat and fish with plenty of salad. Remember you have to pay for any drinks including tea and coffee with your evening meal.

Stayed here for 10 days in March. It is located by the coast, with nice sea views. The resort is a bit further away from the centre of Playa Blanca (10 minutes taxi ride), but it meant that we had peace and quiet. The place was very basic, but had everything we needed to have a comfortable visit. Great cleanliness within the villa as well as the surrounding areas, with a daily cleaning service provided. The staff were friendly and helped us with any queries we had. One negative thing would be the beds…they were very hard and uncomfortable! But overall, we had a decent stay.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay in 'Ocean view' apartment 4. We would love to say how much we have enjoyed our stay with you. We first stayed at Villa Canaima in the year 2000 (when our oldest son was just under 2 years old). Such a relaxing place. No sunbed wars, superb views and amazing, friendly service from ALL staff. All made exceptional by allowing late checkout. Fantastic location for our short break as it is located so close to the airport. Less than €15 in a taxi from the airport. Amazing area for watching the waves and the planes arrive at Arrecife airport. Look forward to staying with you again.

A return visit for myself and my daughter to Villa Canaima. As good, if not better, than the first time. Clean, very good facilities and staff very helpful and friendly. Had a late flight home and did not have to check out of our room until 7pm when we needed to leave for the airport. The gift of a bottle of wine, a Villa Canaima water bottle and personalised card on our arrival was a really nice touch and very much appreciated. Will certainly be back and would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay here last week. Apartments are clean and comfortable, nice pool area and again kept very clean, plenty of available sunbeds when we were there. There's a great little pool bar for food and drinks during the day all reasonably priced and very good quality, bar is run by Nelly who works really hard to keep everyone fed and watered, he's a star. All staff and cleaners are super friendly and work really hard to keep everything spotless, always smiling and say hello. Approx 5 to 10 mins walk to the bars and restaurants in Matagorda so in a convenient location, we would stay here again.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Villa Canaima. The complex is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped. The balcony overlooking the pool was fantastic. The lady at reception was so kind and even let us keep our room past the check out time, to save us having to store our luggage. Nelly provides a great service at the poolside bar, with excellent cocktails and great food. I would highly recommend Villa Canaima and we would definitely book here again when returning to Lanzarote.

Fabulous apartments. A quiet area which we enjoyed but all restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Room and surrounding pool area spotlessly clean, room cleaned and towels changed a couple of times throughout our week stay. Full oven and hob if you wished to do a little cooking. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Met some lovely people staying there who are returnees, some a few times a year and many staying for up to 4 weeks. There is a small pool bar which is run by Nelly. He works very hard behind the bar serving a great selection of drinks, breakfasts and food up to around 7pm. We ate there on a few occasions, food and service was excellent. We would definitely recommend and hope to return as soon as we can.
