We had a great stay at this resort. We never had any problems with staff, they were always friendly and willing to help. The room we had was OK, air-conditioning was working well. The only fault was there was no ventilation in the bathroom so it became like a sauna. The beer on offer was Amstel, served in paper cups, this wasn't as bad as we thought, plus you only get half a pint size each time so it don't last long. The food was a bit hit and miss, breakfast was good but its all inclusive so can't complain. Overall a great location, we got buses to and from Maspalomas, Mogan and Puerto Rico without issue. Also used the cabs, which are a tad expensive but are quick. Mogan was about 25 Euro and Maspalomas was about 35 Euro.

After reading all the reviews I was apprehensive about the hotel but I don't regret booking here. The room was huge, great view, staff were soooo friendly and amazing. Great variety of food and some of them were amazing, other ones could improve. Sangria was excellent. The only negative thing was the Cocktails that can be better.
Activities every night for kids and adults. Pool was great although the big one with the slides was with sea water, my kids didn't like that

IGNORE the reviews telling you to ignore the bad reviews, took my family here for 8 nights and was genuinely disappointed!
After 2 days of eating the all inclusive buffet (which was just the same food every day) we ended up with food poisoning or some kind of crazy illness that not only we had but multiple families we spoke too also had, ended up spending most of our remaining holiday in bed and trying to recover whilst barely eating anything, the waterpark pool was salt water and not advertised as such making my 3 year old have non stop vomiting for half a day 🤦♂️ the staff were rude and so was the locals, on a resort that has a lot of British tourism there was barely any English speaking staff so communication was very poor! All in all I would not take my family back to this place and the only thing remotely made up for waste of money on this trip was the scenery and just getting away on general. This place is grim, the hotel manager just shrugged off any complaints from us or other guests that was ill claiming we had no proof or evidence and there was not one doctor on the resort or even an actual pharmacy just herbal fake pharmacies that sell weed to the guests so they can be too stoned to be bothered about how bad the place actually is, And to mention on top of it all, on the trip back in Las palmas airport there was random medical tablets just left on the air port floor open that my 3 year old almost ate if I hadn't of spotted him pick them up, WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE TAKING MY FAMILY BACK TO THIS RESORT OR GRAN CANARIA!

We loved location and food. There were so many negative reviews on food but for some reason we really loved the food during our 3 nights stay. Swimming pool was little cold not too bad though.

The hotel was alright, but not perfect. I will say I did thoroughly enjoy my time here, there’s just a few nit picky things that would make this hotel amazing, mainly the issues surrounding the food.
The decor of the hotel is nice, although some parts maybe could do with some modernising. The location is excellent, just a small walk to the beach and the entertainment area (which is shared by the surrounding hotels) was fun, and always had a decent show on every night. The quiz nights were the funnest! There are also little shops within walking distance.
I mainly wanted to talk about the food - for my fellow gluten free foodies and celiacs, this place did provide me with food however there are issues I want to talk about. The options were very limited on the menu, which could be found lying about somewhere in the restaurant (different location every night, haha). They didn’t make it clear whatsoever that you have to preorder gluten free food, so the first night the staff seemed hassled when I ordered off the menu in the evening. You’d think they would expect orders in the morning, but no, when I would order every morning for my meals for the day, the staff would try and grab each other and seemed very confused about the gluten free order. You also had to order for specific times each night, which can be a little bit inconvenient as plans can change in the day when you’re on holiday!
The food on the buffet is labelled with allergens, but please be aware celiacs that they are often labelled wrong! I went to eat the meatballs which were labelled as having no wheat, but my partner asked the chef just to double check and the chef told me not to eat it, and was very shocked they were labelled as gluten free. I was very surprised as that could have been a very serious incident if my partner had not double checked for me! When I returned later that day, lots of meals had quickly had an extra “wheat” picture slapped next to the names of the dishes, meaning I could have had any of those dishes and been very poorly. I wasn’t pleased as you can imagine, so I would definitely say that the gluten free meals here weren’t great. Also, one night I ordered chicken nuggets and they came out still frozen in the middle!
My partner said the food wasn’t that great there for him either, the options were very limited and food often was cold and lacked taste. We both loved our pizzas though!
My view from the room was fantastic, and the pool was great and warm! Heated pool! The hotel would have been great if it wasn’t for the issues with the food there. Lots of members of staff were very friendly though, which was pleasant. There are other restaurants located around which I would recommend going to. All in all, it was an alright hotel with some really brilliant things, and also some negatives. I do believe they will get better for gluten free as time goes on, as it’s becoming more well known across the world. I have faith!
