Marabout hotel we come here for 8 weeks at time. Food there's plenty of choice .fish chicken beef etc lots of salads and it's fine. Large pool with water slides Right on beach. Clean tidy rooms .when we want some thing like towels bedding just ask cleaners always help . Entertainment kids disco. local acts ie dancing . Jugglers typical stuff . But for what it costs here you can't complain its fine . Never any issues ever. We go into sousse at night no problems traditional music in bars friendly locals you feel safe and welcome taxi cost a few dinars back to hotel . It's OK the marabout were fine there. Depends what your personal expectations are. If you want 5 star for 3 star money then don't go book some where 3 times the cost and be happy.

Very nice hotel, when you enter you get a wow feeling. Good breakfast, lunch and Diner. Very clean hotel and a very nice swimming pool with a friendly animation team. Very friendly and helpful staff overall but when you meet bartender Ahmed you will have a very good time at the lounge. One tip: keep your room card away from any electronics! When the card is not working, it will be fixed fast at the reception.

This hotel is in serious need of a refurbishment,the location is amazing and the view from our balcony was out of this world but apart from that it wasn't very good. The food is shocking we were all inclusive and ate out 5 day's out of the 7 we were there for.

Came for 10 days at the end of June and the hotel was lovely clean and bright. Animation team was full of energy, welcoming and trying to get as many people engaged as possible. My partner doesn't dance they got him dancing in the day. It was tiring watching them at times with there energetic energy and always smiling as well as trying to get everything involved even with how hot it was they gave it their all. Lifeguards were on the ball, friendly they were up for having a laught while watching the pool. They were very good with my pregnant daughter making sure she was safe and OK everyt8me when there way big groups in the pool. Waiter's and bar staff were helpful and friendly they werevery attentive when you are eating or sitting in the evening. Cleaners are always on the go and do such a good job but people forget about them The Internet is in the lobby and very hit and miss anywhere else. The lifts need to been looked at as they close on you and it hurts as the doors do t reopen unless you really push them open. Speaking French is a plus, but we didn't but staff were good at trying to speak English or we used Google translate but as you couldn't get Internet in the hotel it made it hard to use at times. Don't use your phone put there as the fees are high

A good location, near Carthage Land and the port. A good security policy, the security agent checks everything before letting anyone enters the hotel. The receptionist was so welcoming. The room was so spacious but the were a lot of noise and smell of food from the restaurant is so strong that you can smell it from the hall. There's a variety of food but some are not good and not well cooked.

We only popped in to look around after the design of the rear of the building caught our eye whilst in the grounds of another hotel. The Lella Baya, once we located the entrance (on the road which runs behind the promenade), turned out to be quite amazing inside. A great pool area and very large grounds outside. The Reception and the vast interior at ground level really wasn't what we were expecting at all. The outside looks like a fairytale castle. I reckon kids will fall in love with it as soon as they set eyes on it. There's even a flying carpet inside!

We stayed for a week in this hotel and had a wonderful time. The hotel staff is so friendly and courteous. The restaurant had a good variety of food and it tasted delicious. The hotel isn't new and also not everywhere well maintained, but it's very clean and looks well. The pool area is enjoyable and our children had a lot of fun there. The sea and beach is in walking distance and an old but working shuttle is available. The sea is for a large distance shallow and the water extremely clear. We also used the spa and it's gorgeous. We can recommend this hotel to everyone who looks for a good and not so expensive resort. We had a lot of fun there and like to say thanks to the whole staff.

Booked four nights stay at this hotel with my wife ..the rooms were very out dated and dirty..on the website it says beach is 200m ..more like nearly 20 mins walk which is very dirty beach..and a unsafe dirty route to the beach with lots of stray dogs around..the food was OK.. but same food pretty much everyday ..very mis sold resort..not the best location to nothing local much around to do ...

I don't normally write reviews but I do feel this hotel is being totally trashed by people nitpicking at the slightest thing!! We are currently here, no issues EVER finding sun lounger, food is different from lunch til evening, bottles of water left by cleaners daily in room, the people complaining about cutlery I don't understand because the tables are set up before entrance and spoons are in centre of food hall, never had an issue with cups ,the waiters clear the tables as soon as finished and are so polite, when outside the waiters bring you coffee or cocktails or any drink of your choice, I feel tight as I've not tipped yet but will give lil money to each when we leave, but still they go above and beyond for guests, the rooms are dated but your in Africa not western countries, different styles etc , and the man who runs the little shop in the entrance of the hotel is adorable ordering in certain gifts my autistic son wants I cannot fault this place and certainly don't understand the negativity it gets!!!

Rooms are dated and in need of a refurb. Same goes for pool and slides. Location is more central than newer hotels and really easy to get to New Yasmine Marina and Old Madina. Staff are absolutely fantastic. Really helpful and very welcoming. Food is was hit and miss but there was always something everyone could eat. Beach was close by and gorgeous but staff there were not friendly at all. Worth a visit if one can put up with dated decor and rooms

Currently, I am on holiday in Tunisia with my husband. We chose this hotel and it was a very good choice. The hotel is beautiful. Professional and very nice service. I highly recommend this hotel. It is a good place to relax.

We had a lovely stay! The staff was very friendly in this beautiful hotel. We had a family room with sea view. It was spacious and clean. With plenty of wardrobe space for all 4 of us. The reception was warm and kind and food was send up to our room because we arrived after the kitchen had closed. The food in the dining hall was very good. We mostly ate the Tunisian choices and there was a different menu every day. Plenty of choice in lovely salads, grilled fish, meats and local specialities. Plenty of entertainment through the day on both the beach and the hotel. The beach was clean with Plenty of beds, parasols and a very kind lifeguard and bartenders. We will hopefully come back to visit Mehari again and see some more of the country and it's lovely people

So let me start, I paid all inclusive and: *No pool bar like promised nor beach bar. Poor choice of beverages. *Food- breakfast is the only meal I liked. Lunch & dinner- almost everything was cold, not salty at all, only spicy 🥵 Food at the airport was 100 times better. *Drinks- you had to wait for the waiter to come so you can order(,,coca cola'' ,,fanta'' sparkling or normal water, so many choices how can one simply choose :) *Room - I expected more for 5*, but at least was clean, the internet was a disaster, also there was a shortage of power for about 1h. Room view was very beautiful. *Stuff- very good shisha bar, most of the stuff was polite and helpful, except there was one, *Mister* -some manager or smth like that, he was unpolite (to me and to his employees, so yes, you can thank him cuz I'm giving such a low rate cuz of him)and made my stay uncomfortable during my meals. So as you can guess I'm not going back EVER. So please don't bother replaying how you are sorry. And yes, I don't recommend it. Thanks.

Amazing experience from when we got there to when we left. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. The waiters were always smiling and talkative, the cleaners were amazing and also friendly. The bar staff were the best! View from the hotel was amazing, the pools were lovely. Very safe. There was something for everyone. The 3rd pool round the side of the hotel (were the entertainment is held) has a play area for the kids. Great experience for our first time in Tunisia with our 3 kids. I'd definitely come back.

We are trying to relax in a hotel, not being under pressure! Waiters' behaviour is as friendly as it should be (restaurant). We feel like we are begging, not customers! Lights are off in the reception during the night which is not helping someone trying to work with laptop. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Here are the good bit - lovely outdoor pool, pool side cafe and bar, limited choice but the service makes up for it. The staffs go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Dining experience is good not excellent. Food choice is limited but more than enough I would say. Breakfast is excellent, so as dinner. Lunch is not that good. We had 3 kids who throughly enjoyed the experience. Location is good. Bad bit - rooms are outdated, doesn’t feel like 5* at all. Entertainment is limited. Agree with previous comments about the foul smell, that was horrible. I would certainly not rate this as a 5* hotel, but what we paid for I would not expect anything much more I guess. Would I return to this hotel? May be not unless I get a better deal next time.

I wished that I can put zero star ! I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. The room was disgustingly dirty, with a foul smell coming from the pillows and the toilet was in an unacceptable state. The food was of very poor quality, the service was non-existent. Room service was practically non-existent, and the beach was far from clean. To be honest the location of this hotel is good and the pools are clean and there was activities in the morning at the pool like yoga or playing sport, you can enjoy the sea view from your balcony in which there was a very dirty table and chairs full of dust. But overall, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness, service, and hospitality. You pay your money to stress your self not to enjoy your time. I don’t advise anyone to come here. Nothing is good in this hotel it can take me pages to express how bad is this hotel , it’s the worst place I have ever stayed in.

I am writing this review at the end of our holiday and all the 4 members of my family will miss the place - nice location on the beach, salt lakes on the other side of the road. Good food, friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with a balcony facing the swimming pools and the beach. The weather was lovely and we managed to catch sunbeams in February. There are many places to visit around using a taxi or public transport.

Great range of foods/cocktails on offer daily for those who want some local cuisine or prefer to eat comfortably. Well, where do I start? I booked this late with Loveholidays, and after reading the reviews and looking at the images, I was pleased with the money I was paying for what I will receive. I have been to a lot of All inclusive hotels, from 5 star to 3 star, so I think i have a rough idea of what to expect. However, this was not the case with this Hotel. Food hygiene was awful and I would not rate this even with a 1. Food selection and quality was based on their main customers, which are Algerians and Tunisians. To get a burger and chips, you would have to queue for 20 minutes for the burger and then a further 30 minutes for the chips, and they call this an All inclusive, I don't think so. Slide pool, no beer served. Main pool, no beer was served until I complained. The Al-a-Carte, went for Italian, thinking this must be better, oh no, again dirty plates and knives, and we are served chicken and chips, i never knew this is classed as an Italian dish. Mini golf, used as a car park and derelict. Nightclub, shut. These are just a few things and i dont want to run on, as i dont usually complain and the majority of staff are really nice. Even they say don't eat here. But this is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. We decided to eat out after day 1, as I was ill and the food was lovely, so it just shows this Hotel cannot cater for the amount of people they staying at one time, around 1500 people, with around 20 English when we stayed in August. This just gives you an idea of who they cater for. We spoke to a few people, and it would seem a lot of people had been ill, and even one child went to the hospital. I spoke to the Manager, and he was very nice, but the solutions he offered my family, with the food/hygiene being the main issue, were only related to eating in the Hotel at the Al-a-carte every day or having table service. This does not solve the hygiene issue, so no solution is supplied. If you decide to go here, just try and go out of season when it is quiet, and fingers crossed they can manage a better standard.

Everything is great! The staff is very kind and helpful! The pool and the hotel is beautiful and clean! My only problem was that the sea is not so clear here and you can't sit anywhere in the restaurant even though it wasn't half full. Hotel Houda offers a nice pool area, but our experience is that this is probably the best service the hotel can offer. The rooms are not of a good standard, the offer of the restaurant and snack bar as part of all inclusive services is limited. The stay of foreigners in this hotel can be a painful experience, due to the constant pressure of the local staff to buy something... However, Mr. Amin from the hotel reception helps to all guests in the hotel and he is, thanks to his language skills and client attitude, an indispensable helper to all clients!

The hotel is an average hotel, with wonderful staff. The rooms are large and roomy however the AC is very weak and does not cool the room adequately. The food is buffet style with bland food. The location is quite good, with only a 5 min walk to the beach. The hotel is equipped with an outdoor pool, indoor pool and spa. The hotel itself is very old and needs modernising.

After staying for 7 days and 6 nights, I can tell you this: Pros: The pool: Big and clean. The beach: Even though it's across a road, it's quiet, calm and secure. The food: Tasty and good. The security: On point. The owner: A nice guy who roams around, greeting everyone and taking his time with all the clients. The animation: An entertaining show every night after dinner. Cons: The drinks: Low-cost, no natural juice, coffee from a machine, plastic cups... a big no. The staff: Always showing a rude face and unfriendly behavior. But the worst are those who harass everyone at any given moment to offer you (paid) a tattoo, an extra activity, or a massage; oh my God, it's pure harassment. The animation "team": They do a show every night, nice and full of energy, which is good. But outside the show, they just roam all around, trying to flirt with every girl and making everyone, trying to have a quiet and nice moment, uncomfortable.; specially their leader. in final, it's an average hotel, tbh i liked the experiance, the days that i stayed,; this hotel has a big potentiel.

Absolutely disgusting here.how is this a 4 star hotel. Food is same rubbish every other day. and not enough variety. Activities none. Coffee and tea is disgusting in small paper cups. Same as drinks. Pool area is ok. Rooms are not too bad. TV all foreign channels. No kettle or mini fridge. The beach is filthy and full if seaweed. Language barrier is a great deal of an issue. Towels you have to pay and deposit for and are filthy and dirty. WiFi is not so great in this hotel. As its too old and in urgent need of updating. Will not come back here or recommend

I give this hotel a very poor rating the air conditioning in the rooms stinks can't cool the room, the bathrooms are very old, the food is very poor and there is very little choice, the lifeguard who should watch over people and above all children doesn't care because he was under the influence of alcohol, he harassed guests without respect, finally after talking to the hotel manager he was removed, the only thing in this hotel is cool animations in the evening on the beach there is a hotel bar but it still lacks e.g. beer, which is very pathetic. I'm sure already here I will not return in my opinion this hotel deserves two stars, I will add that the pictures on Google are very old and it doesn't look so nice anymore

Totally isolated location. Taxi to go everywhere. Hotel a 2 star. It's an old hotel that needs updating. Service and food are geared for the Europeans. Same food nealy everyday. Swimming pool over crowded. Not enough sun beds. Carpets in the hallway full of stains. And smells bad. Beach area disappointing. Beach bar with no drinks. Can keep going on and on. Still at the hotel, have 1 more day. Only good thing is the weather.

Actually, the rooms are quite okay but the bathroom is a bit, well, the workers are all very friendly and very helpful and try to make your vacation nice. The room service isn't really good and the food is also okay because it feels like it's the same every day. The beach not far away is a bit dirty but, in contrast to other beaches, unfortunately one of the cleanest.

This hotel is only comfortable for the many cockroaches you can find in the rooms. Our room was very dirty, we requested a change and the second one wasn't any better. Bedsheets hadn't been changed in any of them: hair, dust, stains and wrinkles. Bad smells. Cleanliness is the one thing a hotel should not compromise.

Attention,,,,,,,,hundreds of local communities with entire families from all over Africa regularly visit the hotel, wreaking havoc in the so-called all-inclusive guest restaurant, which resembles more a prison canteen than a restaurant. The carpets are as dirty as if they remember the times of the Ottoman empire. The food is not edible, there is a smell, dirt and sloppiness, unwashed plates, broken and damaged furniture from the 1980s. A four-star hotel is a joke 😂😂. What is happening here is indescribable, the beach is dirty, tons of plastic on the beach and in the sea, this is not a resort, what we call it in Europe, it's just making idiots out of people. Ignorant people, stay away from Hotel El Mouradi in Hammamet!!!!!! Travel agencies advertising this place should refund their money immediately. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5-night stay at El Moradi Palace. It undeniably deserves its 5-star rating. The hotel offers exceptional service with a staff of genuinely kind and multilingual individuals. Whether in the restaurant, pool, sauna, or massage services, the staff demonstrated remarkable tolerance and respect. The well-maintained garden, intricate architectural designs, and beautiful paintings on the walls added to the overall charm. The rooms were not only spotlessly clean but also thoughtfully designed with ample space. Even fellow guests contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. The variety of swimming pools, catering to different needs, further enhanced the overall experience.

A very nice hotel with lots of friendly staff. They were really nice and kind. I arrived around midnight and they kept food for me, I was really happy not to go to sleep with an empty stomach. This is a really nice gesture. Gym is a payable one and I find this a bit too much because the gym is free in most of the hotels I have stayed in but it is written on the site so no surprise. It would be nice if the gym is free. I recommend this hotel to stay if you are in Sousse 🙂

Doesn't fit the 5 star rating. Room 3.5/5 I would give it a 4/5 but the carpets were very nasty, and the noise outside was too loud some times (i think it comes from the air conditioning system). The halls too need new carpets. Pool 2.5/5 The pool is just average. The mural in it however is not family friendly (an image of adult topless women performing adult things, and it's not even a good mural regardless of what it showed). Food 3.5/5 Although the food and dining area were very nice, one of your cooks gave me a one of a kind experience that is part of the reason why i might never come back, because he and some others of your staff wouldn't want me to come back for a reason i'll mention at the end of my review. Some of the staff were really nice and welcoming, some others would have treated me better if they did not know i was from their neighbouring country. The turkey cook, and both of the bars' bartenders on 28-12-2023 night to be more specific, I would not write this here publicly but I did not get a reply for the email I wrote you. I also would like to add that after my stay i found out that some rooms have been renovated and from the photos I've seen they look so much better than what I was given.

A good hotel but a bad service ، the apartheid in this hotel is amazing, and the regionalism in dealing with some of the workers there is strange. You have to pay even to use the gym, and as for the food, it is average and does not reach a 5-star hotel. Room service is good in general, as for the animators, are useless , and the most important thing is that the workers of this hotel are really rude , just one or two of them , in general the hotel is good but there is some workers contribute to spoiling its reputation. We hope this will change in the future.

I'm sure this was a 5 star hotel in 1991, but it's run down and dying. Staff is disorganized, elavators are inadequate, and the rooms are aged and poorly cleaned. Also, because of what it is, the noisiness, type of guests, and hotel etiquette are pretty classless.

THE WORST HOTEL YOU CAN EVER VISIT! I went there with my friends in july 2022. The stuff are unpolite: they cat called us although they know we are minors, some of them tried to flirt and made us feel uncomfortable wih their werid looks. I starved for 3 days there, the restaurant runs out of food after 30min because of the small quantities+plates are not clean. In addition, the bathrooms are old, some doors are broken..... Don't spend your money on discomfort Just don't go there..

Not as advertised on OnTheBeach Visited in August 2022 7 of us all inclusive No ice creams at all No pool bar No beach bar - beach is filthy and has needles! Limited food selection - huge queues run out of cutlery and plates. Everything is spicy. Does not cater for children. We all had poorly tummys day into the holiday lasting a week after returning! Limited drinks available - Fanta Sprite or lager most days that was it. Staff lovely - very slow though. Lift didn't work we got our steps in being on 3rd floor. Pool had too much chlorine in so gave the children skin rashes and burns as they spent so many hours in the pool! No infinity swimming pool. No football pitch or tennis pitch. No children's playground. No wifi - teenagers were devastated! Entertainment was good. Really loud as our balcony door wouldn't close but we expected noise until early hours of the morning. Poor guests didn't have much else to do. Really disappointed as this was not advertised. OnTheBeach are not addressing the complaint either. Avoid booking through this provider.

This hotel is not what it advertised. There was no indoor pool, gym or playground for the children. The food was awful, no English selection available. Dining room like a cattle market people grabbing plates and food. No staff to help with inquiries due to language barrier. No first aid available or if it is it's very basic. Entertainment crew were excellent and without them we would have struggled. I would not rate this hotel at all especially for English people.

Long queues for food. Food is different but always had pizza. Entertainment nit great and some is quite inappropriate. Hotel was always clean and staff all very polite. Nice to have a pool, 2 infinity pools and a beach in the same resort. Overall it is an okay hotel.

Pool facilities are nice and the hotel facilities are a decent 3 star rating. Unfortunately the kitchen is a disaster with very few edible dishes and staff rolling their eyes at guests and arguing with these. Without overstating the conditions i can honoustly say half the dishes and cutlery are dirty when put out for guests and staff does not react when told about this. Very few staff speak decent English which adds to misunderstandings. The hotel promises WiFi Connection. We managed to find one place at the reception that had a seriosly slow Connection (eg 40 minutes to upload two pictures). Not what you expect when promised WiFi. Will not visit again nor recommend this hotel.

Overall and taking into account value for money I would rate as 5star. Plenty on offer. 1 large outdoor pool, smaller pool + heated indoor pool. We have used the gym a few times. Nice gardens with plenty of loungers. We are out of season so not too busy , except weekends when many locals come. Food is quite good and varied with a couple of fresh preparation stations. Waiters are very nice and friendly. We have tried archery with Miky who is a really great friendly chap and so helpful and enthusiastic as are the entertainment team. Service is very good and attentive. This Hotel has given excellent value for money. We have a few days left and are having a great relaxing time. I had never taken breakfast until the last day as we had an early flight. I now wish I had gone to breakfast every day as it was superb. What a spread. Thank you all for a fab holiday.

The Bellisaire is a beautiful hotel. There are many murals of traditional scenes around the hotel and many of the ceilings are also painted. We were there for 2 weeks over Easter. There was always plenty of seating in the restaurant and lounge areas. Unfortunately there were the usual selfish few who insisted on putting towels on sunbeds around the main pool but additional sunbeds were put out to accommodate most guests. Beach towels are available for hire -20dinar. The hotel, gardens and pools were very clean and although dated in places, well maintained. We had a problem with our patio door lock which was resolved within an hour of reporting. We had 3 beds in our room, but still had plenty of space. Housekeeping was very good. The entertainment crew work exceedingly hard from 9am to 11.30pm. They were always polite, cheerful and fun. There are many activities on offer during the day, but evening entertainment was lacking, maybe as it was still low season. Waiters service was good. Our waiters( unfortunately forgot their names) were father and son. They were both very attentive and lovely people. Food was good with traditional offerings along with fresh pizza, pasta station and grill. You are also given option to eat at 3 other restaurants offering, Moroccan, Italian and Mediterranean menus. Also a meal and show, which was a great night out at the Shereazade. Bar staff were hit and miss. Some were lovely, some were miserable to the point of almost ignorant. All inclusive drinks menu was good with reasonable choice. Only issue we had was that often we ended up with little glasses for beer and cocktails so you were up and down to bar. Recommend Carthage which was truly amazing. You also get free entry to Carthage Amusement Park and the Water Park when it opens. Overall I think you get a lot for your money and would definitely consider returning. Only downside is that it is away from Medina, town and nightlife. We felt safe walking about during the day but would not be so confident on our own at night.

The hotel location is nice, and parking places are available with active security. Fast service at reception, friendly and smiling faces everywhere 😀. Animation is good, and it is for kids and adults (2 sessions). For kids also, there are plenty of places to play, a dedicated club with games and chairs and whiteboards etc.. swimming pool for kids only, there is a kids menu available too within the buffet. Food is self-service, plenty of choices, and the stuff is very friendly and helpful. Swimming pools are amazing indoor or outdoor (3 outdoor) and the beach is close. Rooms are clean and I insist on all equipment are functional. Hot water, air conditioning, hair dryer, etc... wifi is up to 70mb/s and covers most of the rooms. Elevator, games, coffee etc.. I would strongly recommend 👌

We had a nice time but that was purely because the staff were so warm and friendly. This hotel is very clean and all the staff work really hard to make everyone’s stay enjoyable. This hotel had clearly previously been great, but the passage of time and lack of investment have rendered it at best a poor three star which is sad. We visited low season, but the reception staff gave us information detailing all the various cafes, bars and restaurants despite them being closed. The main restaurant was good quality and provided reasonable choice but food was clearly recycled from previous, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The dine around option was pointless as despite being listed as À La Carte was in fact a set menu with no vegetarian alternatives. After waiting for drinks, first course for over half an hour we gave up and went back to the buffet restaurant. The beach is very close but was effectively closed. We knew the beach bar wasn’t open - it was March after all - but there were no beds/parasols either and it was covered in litter. Minibar in room stated in info didn’t exist, when we asked we were told we didn’t need one! We paid for a hammam, rhassoul and massage which was lovely and good value at £65 each and lasted around 2 hours in total. The women were lovely and worked very hard for us to have an enjoyable experience. The indoor salt swimming pool was lovely and I’m glad we remembered to visit on our last day, it’s only open from 12-3pm for some reason but it is very warm with a high saline content. The free Hammam was actually 20 minutes in the steam room but proved impossible to book. There are a couple of Aviaries in the gardens with a variety of birds, these are clean and well maintained. We found these by accident but they would be lovely for families and children. The Animation team were very hard working providing a full programme of activities including Archery, Tennis, Yoga, French Boules, Darts. There was entertainment every evening with dancing, Quizzes, Bingo, Karoake etc. This all took place in the (only) bar open just outside the restaurant. Unfortunately there were young children in the bar every night and the combination of tired kids and the evening entertainment wasn’t really our thing so we sat outside most evenings. I expect evenings are much better high season as there is an outdoor stage set up, and another two bars either side for more hectic evening entertainment and family fun, allowing for the bar to provide a more sedate setting. Local drinks and cocktails were fine but everything was very sweet with high sugar content. The room was fine, albeit tired looking, with two double beds and a balcony overlooking the quieter pool area. The ladies cleaned it very well every day and provided fresh towels. The bathroom definitely needs urgent refurbishment with broken tiles, a broken leaky shower and rusty grab rails hanging off the wall. Also worth noting is how forward some male staff can be, with unwanted attention, touching, trying to give phone numbers etc. This although harmless, gets repetitive and be quite intrusive, I wouldn’t choose to come here as a solo woman. I

Several times i have stayed in the hotel all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The entertainment team always have activities during the day and the shows are really good at night especially the Indian dancing. Marco and zizo are amazing with children and very helpful. The rooms are always clean and the beds are very comfy. The waiters in the restaurant are very helpful and serve very well. The barmen never leave your glass empty. The reception is welcoming and accommodating.

Had a week at this hotel bar & waiting staff very friendly (looking for tips) room was OK apart from ants in bathroom, desk was melamine but front edge separated & dirty. I don't think corridor or room carpet was hooverd in the week was there. Plenty of food & drink, food was a bit repetitive & some of it basic but for the price I paid quite good value.

Do not take this hotel if you expect more then terrible Motel. Sure this is not hotel like on pictures and in prospects. Rooms are not even close like on pictures and they are totally destroyed , old and damaged. The air conditioner does not work and it is not possible to cool the room. The common rooms of the hotel as well as the restaurant are not air-conditioned. The food is monotonous and they haven't changed the menu for 7 days of stay. You have to wait in lines for food in the restaurant. All inclusive service in this „Hotel“ are to have 3 time „some“ food in a day. The staff service is terrible and rude to the client. Internet is not working and when working speed is under 1 Mb/s. The guests are so noisy that you cannot stay normally and quiet . Until 4 in the morning, they speaks loudly in the corridors and obviously have no feelings for other guests, and the hotel staff does not see the problem and does not intervene at all. Suggestion: avoid this „Hotel“

I am a bit disappointed with this hotel. I believe it does deserve 4 stars. the positive points: + the hotel is front beach, out bungalow was 2 min from the beach which is really really. + the stuff are so nice and friendly. + the food was ok (it can be better though) The Negative points: - The bathtub was broken, you can see the layers of the paint. - The wardrobe is really old, you see the pieces of wood inside. - To switch off the light we had to remove the bulb, which was annoying. - the most annoying thing is to get a towel: we did the checkin at night and there was no towels in the room. in the morning we kept calling to ask for towels for like 3 hours. - we asked one cleaning lady for a clean towel and she stated that there is no clean towel and she suggested that we dry our used towel ans use them again for the next day. - the day of our checkout at 10 AM , the cleaning lady came to take the towels and the bed sheets, which is not accepted at ALL. the checkout is at 12AM. Notes: * too many plastic glasses are used. * too much food is wasted, people tend to take a lot more thant they eat. (the hotel should come up with a solution to reduce that like additional fees should be payed when you leave your plate full )

Very bad experience, no AC , bad service, bad management, ants in the rooms, you have to pay for water, gym ,towels... you have to wait one hour to get some food . Buffet open for only two hours and it is very very crowded, you do not even want to eat anymore, I rather drink some water and stay hungry better than wait an hour to get some food . Front desk short of staff ,not organized. I would not go back even if it is free . Do not waste your time and money specially if you are coming from overseas. I suggest that you pay more money I get 5 star hotel with good service and good food. Do not make my mistake.

We travel a lot , we never ever had bad experience like this ,it was a disaster. We traveled from Florida USA and first time in club kantaoui. No AC, bad service, rude staff , all inclusive but you have to pay for water ,tea ,gym ,towels.... We booked 3 nights, they told us that we have to check out in second day , I told them that I booked 3 nights they said no, after we took our stuff from the room and missed lunch time. They did not even say sorry. We told we need to eat they said go buy pizza .we do not have food. Worse experience ever. The hotel is disorganized, staff not trained , service is bad, staying home is way better. It is not one star hotel broken chairs not enough food . It is very very low class hotel and they market for low class client. Very bad experience. I would not go back even for free.

This was the worst experience from a hotel. I was literally dissapointed in everything. 1) no wifi 2) drinks in 0,2l cups 3) long long lines in restaurants 4) everything is dirty 5) loud music as hell, there is literally no place where you can peacefully sleep 6) kids are everywhere 7) if you have any problem with for example with room, you don’t even have to go to the receptionist, because they will do ANYTHING. 8) there is nothing good i can write about this stupid hotel. 9) please save your money and don’t buy this.

I do not know what planet these people with the negative reviews are from - perhaps if they had a better attitude they would find things more enjoyable instead of finding things to criticise! I stayed at this hotel in April 2017 with my sister for a week and we had a splendid time. The hotel is lovely, the staff were all pleasant, helpful and friendly - we always smiled and said hello too! The food was delicious - varied, fresh, colourful, interesting and tasty. The Animation Team were great and really try and get everyone involved - but will leave you alone if you are not interested - always with a smile. And special thanks to Ali, the barman who was extremely efficient and really good fun. I, for one, will definitely return :)

went in very very off season so the hotel was extremely quite. as a result many things were in operation but I just wanted to chill so that was fine. the food was good but sometimes have been a little warmer. the deserts were excellent though definitely the best tasting selection of deserts that I have had of all the hotels I've stayed in. the service was good and the bar staff were good although sometime a little too heavy handed with the spirit measures. the main area of the hotel was very nice and comfortable. the rooms were clean and very comfortable but maybe could do with a little modernisation. the beach is nice but did have a lot of shells on. the sunbeds and cushions are very comfortable. you can get a beach towel at reception for a deposit but get a receipt if you want the deposit back. the pool was nice but very cold in march. when the hotel is full it has several bars a volley ball court football pitch tennis courts water slide kids club area I presume id for archery and two petanch/boules area. the animation team were in the hotel for about 12 hours but didn't really organise anything maybe because there were so few people but just to keep themselves occupied they could have done more than a couple of nights karaoke. the hotel was very peaceful until a lot of tunisian students turned up made a nuisance of themselves kept everybody in their part of the hotel awake till 5 and four o'clock in the morning for the two nights they were there and left the hotel sticking of vomit urine and facies horrible group who shamed tunisia and very different to all the other tunisians I have come into contact with. fair play to the cleaners their job must have been hard and they got rid of the stench of this lot withing a few hours of them leaving. another slight negative was that they kept turning most of the lights off around 11pm even though the bar was open to 12 (its open all night in season) in short it was a good hotel with a couple of minor issues but I enjoyed my time and for the money it was unbelievable. would I go again -yes would I pay more - also yes. but if you want ultra modern really glitzy perfection it's not for you. if you want a comfortable clean hotel with good service and a good price yes nour palace is worth it

Place is nice. Don’t expect five stars hotel. It is, but African five stars. Service is good, I’ve just had issues with one bartender. I was arguing with assistant manager from lobby bar, Julian or something like that, about milk. My kids are drinking milk before sleeping, and he refused to give me a bottle of milk, although i was taking bottle of milk before, and tipped 10,20 dinars for that. He told me that is not allowed to take a bottle at 10 pm and at that moment I wasn’t able to buy milk anywhere. Next day I bought it for 1.35 dinars and never asked again for milk. I guess it’s easier and cheaper to buy milk in the store than to ask for it. You can drink unlimited alcohol, but when it comes to milk for kids you can’t get it :-)

Have to say the hotel is amazing for staff alone. Special shoutout to Malek who helped me when my card taken from card machine. Also Raid, Atef, Jilani, Hassen, Salim, Islam, Raouf and all the other staff. It's great location, no issues with people selling on the beach. Also have two great swimming pools and has excellent massage parlour. Food is what is expected I paid for, wide range of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely thinking going again next year.

We are on vacation here. I'll start with the positives.. The staff is very nice and helpful, the food is tasty and a nice selection, as well as the drinks/ I rate this as positive and sufficient (I already know how much I paid for the vacation, I don't expect a miracle). The animators are nice and not annoying, which I rate as great positive. There are plenty of sunbeds and our room has a beautiful view.. and I will probably please everyone, wifi works perfectly in the rooms.However, the hotel needs renovation.. even though nothing is broken, it already looks too used even though it is clean.. I estimate the age of the property to be 20 years... And the cleaner does fold great towel swans, but he could wash the floor better.. I have black hair, it's very easy to see where the mop hasn't passed

This definitely isn't a five-star hotel. We received a room for disabled people as soon as we arrived, which I think to be inappropriate and a lack of professionalism. After pointless discussions, we didn't get a standard room until we paid more. However, the room was pretty dirty with some defects, and the resort overall smelled awful. Moreover, the food was a complete nightmare with dirty cutlery, flies all over everything, a lack of variety, lots of refrigerated foods, and improper cooking. Most of our group got food poisoning after few days, along with severe fever and other symptoms. If you don't want to ruin your holiday and health, please keep your money or go literally anywhere else.

It was a bad hotel experience. The stay wasn't golden at all! It isn't worthy of being a 3 star hotel. It is a one-star hotel at max. When we visited, the hotel was dimly lit, the stairs badly lit, the elevator wasn't working. Water was leaking in the shower. Some dirty covers in the wardrobe. And don't get me started on the food. It is a hotel which needs to be closed and get proper renovations. I definitely do not recommend.

Had an amazing time over there. The animators really outdid theirselves. The activities in the morning, afternoon and in the evening were fabulous! Every single one of the staff was friendly and kind. Always wanted to help us. The food was delicious and there was enough choice for everybody. The cocktails in the bar were delicious! They’ll see me and my family again soon! Will book another vacation there this summer :)!

Wouldn't recommend, no one speaks English, just Russian, French or Arabic, food stays the same almost all the time. Food is cold almost everytime, and many of those foods don't have signs so you don't know what are you eating until you swallowed. Rooms are quite small and don't have fridge or freezer. Pool is pretty alright but Toboggans will break really soon. Beach is full all the time, even at opening there will be always that one Russian family that will throw their stuff there and never come back until it's night time.

Where to start: Firstly this is not a 3 star Hotel more like 1 or 1/2. Glad we didn't go all inclusive only b&b for 2 weeks as the food was terrible, buffet served every meal time and was bland and had no taste whatsoever we barely managed to eat breakfast and as we didn't know there was nothing around we paid around 55TDN or £7 per person 3 times we tried and gave up and ended going 30 minutes walk to nearby restaurant La Scala or walking 15 minutes to train station and paying around 20p to go into Monastir to eat. There was meant to be 3 bars only 1 was open all the time and that was for all inclusive guests and if you wanted a beer you had to go to the other bar which no one sat in only the staff seemed to sit in there and watch TV. The promise of WiFi was like dial up connection and the only place it worked was reception so everyone who wanted to go online would sit in reception area. The aircon in room never worked at all and, the daily cleaning consisted of towels being folded and beds being made and give 2 toilet rolls. No sweeping or mopping at all. We got new towels on our last day after 2 weeks. Look at pictures and the marks on walls were there when we arrived, the first time I've ever experienced a swing toilet door. One door to both the toilet and bathroom. There was poo from a cat or small animal in the communal mens toilet cubical next to swimming pool for 3 days and they even threw bleach on the floor in and around urinals but didn't clean the poo. They blast out music from around 11am and in the evening start again after dinner around 8pm and they only seem to put on a show when new guests arrive by coach. There is literally nothing around you can walk 10-15 minutes and take train to sousse or Monastir the trains run every hour but finish just before 9pm. The only plus side is the beach is 100m behind hotel and shallow water for about 400m and white sand but this hotel doesn't clean it's part properly you can see other hotels do. One night was very windy and next morning there was tons of sea weed all along the beach,but it only took them 4 days to clear it. Very poor dirty outdated hotel that could be lovely if ran correctly, too many people not doing anything for amount of guests it had. The only reason I would give it 1 star is some of the staff were friendly the man on the reception in the evenings was very friendly and helpful.
