Booked 2 rooms for spring break. The service by the staff was excellent, for the most part they always had golf carts available to drive you around the resort. The food is incredible and there is many options! The only compliant is that the room service would clean our rooms but never leave new ones so we always had to leave the room and find workers to get new towels. Family friendly and great for young adults.

We recently spent 10 days at this resort. We read a lot of negative reviews after we booked and got a little nervous. Once we arrived we were greeted by wonderful staff who treated us great for our entire stay. Food was excellent. Drinks were plentiful and always delicious. Resort was clean and maintenance staff were always busy fixing any issues. The lagoon just a short 10 minute walk down the beach was excellent for swimming in and there were always plenty of colourful fish that could be seen swimming around you. We all had a fantastic time and will 100% return in the future.

Great location. Probably some of the friendliest staff we’ve ever interacted with at a resort. Everyone seems happy to be there, so someone at the top is doing something right. The room is a little tired. This is definitely not a five star resort any more. The theatre is really just a room with chairs in it. Not very “Grand” any more. The food is very good at the buffet. Lots of options for everyone - nice things for the little ones - little boxes of cereal, French fries and hot dogs. French, Mexican and Italian were our favourite specialty restaurants. The staff work very hard in the restaurants. One thing that was disappointing was the severe lack of loungers by the quiet pool AND the beach. It felt like the hunger games for beach chairs. I got up
At 6:30 one morning to try and score some chairs, but there were towels on every chair by that time. I spoke with someone later, and he said he was getting up at 5:15 and there were chairs available then. Forget that! I’m not getting up at 5:15 on holiday for the privilege of a lounger. People we spoke with who have been here before last year felt that there were half the number of chairs. Also many of the chairs need to be replaced. This is a huge issue. If I was managing this resort, it would be the FIRST thing I would fix. We are here for three weeks, and enjoying everything else - but trying to lounge by the pool and beach has been stressful.

After reading many bad reviews we were skeptical of staying, however we were able to get a great deal for the week and took a chance.
Staff were extremely friendly the whole time we were here. Food and drinks were always good and plenty!
Rooms were a little outdated, however they were always clean. Hot water and AC all worked great and a safe was included in the room.
Staff worked tirelessly cleaning up the seaweed along the beach. Although the water was not crystal blue a short walk down the beach quickly got you to blue waters which were perfect for swimming.
The only improvement I could share that’s needed is more loungers by the pool and ocean.
Aside from that we had a great week away!

I highly recommend not coming here. Our experience was AWFUL. I should have trusted the other bad reviews. When we arrived, we were given a room in building 7. It absolutely stunk! The smell made us nauseous and we avoided going back at all costs. Even napped by the pool to avoid it. They then gave us a new room when we requested, in building 5. It hardly had AC. We requested to have it fixed about 6-7 times. Someone came once, the first time we requested, and did something for like 5 minutes (unsure of what it was) and left. It still didn't work. We were told we didn't have to be in the room for them to come in, so we weren't. We hardly slept the remaining time of our stay because of how hot our room was. On top of that, our family got incredibly sick here. By sick, I mean throwing up, diarrhea, fever, chills, etc (me included). My boyfriend even developed a nasty cough after staying in the first stinky room. Then it got frustrating because the drivers of the little golf carts began to kick us off to prioritize people coming in with luggage. This happened a few times - not to mention our people were sick, feet were bleeding, and we weren't in good condition to be walking over this massive resort. The buffet didn't even have AC, we were sweating most of the time when eating and it wasn't fun. Not to mention the buffet food was really not that great in itself. The only food that was good here, was some of the restaurants you have to reserve (Mexican was the best). The staff for the most part is great, everyone is friendly and the grounds are beautiful. Only complaint I have is how people leave towels on chairs to reserve them, and you can literally never get a lounge chair any time. The staff was the only good part of this resort. I will never come back and this was SUCH a waste of money. 3 star resort at best. Please believe the bad reviews - I really wish I did.
