We did have a really nice time on holiday! There are positives and negatives to reflect back on: Positives ☺️🏝️: • The location is stunning. The landscape is just really serene and beautiful. You are right on a lovely sandy beach with stunning turquoise water. In the opposite direction is a huge rugged mountain which is equally stunning. May be a little secluded for some who wish to go on a lot of excursions. • The poolside was nice. There were plenty of loungers when we went (Mid April) and the majority of it was tidy. • The cats 🐱 were adorable and well-looked after. • The gardens were really lovely and well-maintained. Lush green grass and cacti. Negatives 😬🌅: • The hotel room was very tired. Our bathroom flooded (because of the shower not draining) and seeped into the hallway. Attempted to phone through to reception but phone lines were not working. Went to reception and was told it would be fixed - it was fixed (we believe) but we never saw any maintenance guys and nobody followed up, so we had to mop up the excess water with our towels. As well as this, there was quite a number of ants and bugs both in the shower and the bedroom. The beds were sunken in the middle unfortunately and we couldn’t use the ceiling fan as it appeared to be barely hanging on. • Personally, we weren’t a huge fan of the dining experience or food. We found the food to be really salty and it was the same variety of food each day. Also the music was just way too loud for us in the dining room. • Partner forgot the hotel room number at one point early into the holiday, and asked reception to confirm. My partner speaks English but also knows Spanish and overheard the staff member complaining in Spanish about ‘these people always doing stupid things like this’ (paraphrased). Little unfortunate but didn’t dwell too much on it. Again we had a good holiday, not too sure we’d return though 🏝️🌅

It's absolutely amazing. Staff are amazing. All work so hard, so helpful, kind and considerate. Our room is spotless very clean. The food is amazing literally everything. Bars everywhere, the whole location is perfect for families and couples. There is so much to do.

Friendly staff. Hotel is a bit far from shopping centres but taxis will drive with 10-12 euros to Morre Jable for shopping. All inclusive for 3 weeks was nice. Friendly and very fast super bar tender making the drinks.

This review is based on our stay from the 10-24.01.24 It took just over 1hr to arrive at TUI Magic Life by coach from the airport. After checking in we were given directions to our room in Block 11. However the signage directed us around Block 10 a long way round. We did mention this to the front desk staff whom didn’t seem interested. When we entered our room, 11209, it had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. The cleaner then came in and asked to leave and come back in about 30 minutes. Not a great start so far. Luckily we were close to the pool bar so we went there for a few drinks and some lunch as the main restaurant was now closed. Our room, once it had been cleaned was very spacious with a nice shower and a comfy large bed. It did not get any sun on the terrace at all. Not a problem for us. During the evening you cannot hear any entertainment from the hotel, however you do hear it from the hotel a couple of hundred metres away. Fortunately their music stopped at 11pm. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is taken at the Magico Main Restaurant (Buffet). There was always plenty of choice and the food was of a reasonable quality. Now and again some items were burnt (pizza) or overcooked (tough meat). There are 4 speciality restaurants. We never tried the Fish & Grill one as you have to pay and neither of us are big seafood fans. The Bodega, Flavour and Trattoria were very good. There are 4 bars: Wunderbar (reception area), Pool Bar, Plaza Bar and Premium Sports Bar. The drinks were fine apart from the coffee. I couldn’t seem to get a good cup of coffee anywhere in the hotel. Activities: There are plenty of activities that you have to book on the TUI Magic Life App. The exception is cycling. This has to be booked in person at the pool bar from 4-5pm. First come first served. If you don’t get there early you will not get a place on the road cycling as they have only have a few road bikes. By going on some rides I found out that the guide was allowing some guests to take places on a long ride with the intention of doing a shorter one themselves that was not advertised. By the way the condition of both road and mountain bikes are the worst hire bikes I have ever come across. When I mentioned this to the guides that just said they know. I took part in an advanced archery class only to have stood close to me a lady who had never participated in archery before. The instructor informed her that the are beginners classes. However he still allowed her to continue. What is the point of having advanced classes if anyone is allowed to attend. Evening Entertainment: Throughout the two weeks we found a variety of entertainment in various hotel locations. Some were better than others. On the whole it was fairly good as hotel entertainment goes. Pools: Some sun loungers had towels on them by 7am (it was still dark at 7am) even though the hotel policy says this is not allowed. Staff cleaning the pool area just ignored the towels. The pools are clean however every pool had tiles missing. Beach: The beach directly in font of the hotel is very small and accessed via steep steps. There are no sun loungers there. For beach time you have to access a public beach and pay if you want a lounger etc. It is only a short walk once you have descend the steep steps Be prepared to see naked people walking along the beach. Staff: Some of the staff are very friendly. Some were miserable and didn’t even say hello even though I spoke to them in spanish. Summary: A tired hotel with some staff who don’t seem to care. I spoke to a number of people who were repeat guests and really love the place and will be going back next year. I know two people who won’t be returning.

Grand conclusion: great bang for your buck, very convenient location to reach great surfing and excursion spots, if they remodeled the gym, spa and updated the bedrooms, it would be a clear 10/10. Worth it to book the whole package with them and have an easy A-Z experience. Regular staff: generally friendly and helpful. Wifi: sporadic to non-existent, particularly in the evening. Don't expect to be able to stream! Cellphone signal: patchy and barely available in some parts of the resorts. No signal in the gym, so download music in advance. Cleanliness: overall quite good across the resort. Staff picked up plates and cups very quickly and they were frequently cleaning the floors and bathrooms. Very little trash around. Pools: came in December so the unheated pools (except one small one) were simply nice to look at. Probably really nice in the summer. No hot tub. Spa: depressing, don't bother checking it out. Gym: gym has all the basic equipment but it rather dated. There were often kids inside despite signage specifying otherwise. It felt a bit dangerous.
