Unsuitable pillows and their arrangement. Room good apart from this with balcony and sea view.
Service for drinks, snacks in lounges varied from good at times to non-existent at others. Choice not as good as expected. Communication poor and better use of English by staff should have been better for an international hotel.
Outside attractions needed taxis to get to them. No shops, pubs, etc near to hotel.

I spent my honeymoon at the Secrets in Corralejo.
What I really enjoyed was how attentive and kind the staff was. I particularly loved the Preferred Club waitresses in the breakfast area, the kind cleaning ladies, the cooks at the buffet restaurant and Himitsu, and the receptionists.
In general I‘ve had a great time at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax, BUT:
Considering how the brand tries to appear as luxurious as possible, I‘d love to see them put the work in.
I could give several examples of the hotel not being 100%, but I‘d like to specifically see work done at the pool area.
I was quite disappointed that the man, who was in charge of the pool area, did not enforce the hotel‘s rule about lounger reservation AT ALL, even after pointing the policy out to him. It is incredibly annoying and frustrating, when a bunch of people reserve loungers at 9 in the morning and don‘t use them for several hours. I really did not feel like fighting for a chair at the pool at a luxury resort but had no other option. You need to do better, guys. This is not it.
The Sugar Reef, Barefoot restaurant and Rock & Ball were closed when we were there. Didn‘t love that either.
Long story short: lovely experience, but at this price point it is disheartening, when customers notice the cracks in the luxury facade.

Probably the nicest Hotel we have ever stayed at. The a la carte restaurants serve some great choices and good quality too. They have excellent variety of vegan and vegetarian options available on separate menus or offer to adjust the standard dishes by omitting meat etc.
The buffet breakfast options and evenjng meal options were extensive always with various freshly cooked specials available. The staff were great. Very friendly and helpful and hard working, doing their best to ensure you have an enjoyable time.
It is right beside a sandy beach though swimming isn't recommended as there are a lot of rocks.
The all inclusive option is superb with very little attracting additional supplements. Even premium brands alcohol was included which is great.
There were only a couple of very small things that could be improved and were not enough to merit scoring it down a star.
The TV in out room couldn't show UK channels except BBC world news. They were some listed but never were available. We were told it was being fixed but never was. The mini bar fridge in the room had soft drinks, beer but no wine.
The indoor swimming pool in the spa could do with some TLC as their are tiles missing.
None of these things are serious enough to upset your enjoyment of the place which is great.
We will definitely be looking for other Secrets hotels if this is their normal standard.
Excellent and highly recommended.

Lovely hotel. Stayed a few times but this was first time since being Secrets. Warm welcome on arrival with a glass of caxa. Room on third floor with ocean view very nice and spotless. Stayed on bed and breakfast only as like walking into town to eat. Breakfast very pleasant and food good choice with eggs cooked to order etc. We did eat at a restaurant in the hotel one night and was disappointed. We could only get a reservation at Olia at 9 30pm but that was ok with us and we were looking forward to it. Decided to go to restaurant at 9pm and there were lots of tables available with only about 5 tables filled. We expected a romantic relaxing atmosphere but we were rushed and staff were clearing and setting tables the whole time. The waiter cleared our starters and asked if we would like dessert and we had to explain that we hadn't had our mains! The food was mediocre. Going into Correlejo is a much better option if your mobile as lovely restaurants and reasonably priced. We walked in every night turning right outside hotel and walking approx 20 to 25 mins to main street in Correlejo. It is a fair walk but worth it or get a taxi. The food at hotel in the main buffet style restaurant is good too. The hotel location we like but worth noting that you can't swim off the beach even though beach nice. Sugar Reef a decking area on beach that used to have lovely luxurious sunbeds and a ladder down into the water for swimming was closed and sadly gone to rack and ruin. Hope they do something about it. Nice restaurant on beach for lunch or drinks. Two nice swimming pools. One pool unheated and cold other a little warmer. Pool opened at 9am with the usual thing of people getting sunbeds. One day they were cutting the grass and quite aggressively told me that the pool was closed and I had to move. This was at approximately 10am and all the sunbeds were taken even if people were not on them. I was told by a manager that the pool actually opens at 11am when all the signs said 9am. Every other day no problem and lovely pool area. The spa pool amazing probably one of the best indoor spa pools anywhere. Like this hotel and like Correlejo so would go back.

Overall the hotel is amazing! The fact you get 2 hours of spa access with your stay is amazing! And definitely a reason to go again! The rooms could have been cleaner at times (in between cleans) I would say and we weren't happy with how they labelled vegetarian food in the breakfast buffet! But the restaurants are so nice and they even gave us a free cake/dessert for my mum's birthday! Also adults only was great!
