This is a lovely resort
In the winter months there is a covered heated swimming pool (very useful as the weather wasn't good when we went)
Reception / cleaning staff friendly
Little supermarket on site (bit pricey but convenient)
Bar / cafe / restaurant also nice with friendly staff
Our apartment was very well equipped
A little tired and dated and in need of a little TLC but clean and the kitchen was very very nice
The balcony was one of the biggest we have ever had with a table and chairs and sunloungers
The only downside was the fact that the french doors to the bedroom let in rainwater (lots of it)
Not a problem if not raining so probably not noticed normally, unfortunately we had torrential rain for quite a few days so had to mop up with towels quite a lot.
The location is lovely and the cliff walks are fantastic (a little scary in places as very little in the way of safety barriers) also don't attempt in flip flops /sandals etc as is tough going in places
On the whole would definitely recommend

Would definitely stay here again. The rooms have a lovely Portuguese feel so if you are looking for ultra modern this is not for you. We had a 2 bed, ground floor apartment which was nice and spacious with a lovely private terrace overlooking the garden. An "ensuite" had been added to the Double bedroom which was great as a separate sink and shower, however you couldn't use the toilet unless you sat sideways 😊. Just a very small niggle in what was fantastic week here. The village is beautiful with well kept gardens. There were lots of cars parked around so presume it was fairly busy, buy we hardly saw anyone. Very peaceful. The staff were lovely and the on site restaurant was a very high standard with great food and fantastic service. With 4 pools to choose from, you're spoiled for choice. Direct access out to cliff top walks and about 45 min walk from the closest town, however also some great restaurants closer too. Beautiful location, clean, welcoming accommodation and friendly staff, what more can you ask for?

We stayed here for a month this year. Booked a one bedroom apartment with seaview.
Ocean view, sunsets, beautiful . Quiet, peaceful, apart from the maintenance going on. Kitchen very adequate once we found out how the laundry, dishwasher, stove etc. worked. Beds are comfortable, bathroom facilities are good too.
Small details ( lightbulb replacement, heater operations) we asked about taken care of promptly. Front desk staff professional and polite. A lovely property to walk around, well maintained grounds.
You can join the hiking path along the cliffs from here.

I have to say I didn't stay at this resort, but had a walk around the place for future reference, it's all a little too crammed for my liking, all the accommodation/villa's very close to each other. But still in a beautiful location.

We enjoy the attractive, well maintained gardens and pool areas. We like the quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the village resort. All the properties are privately owned, so whilst there is a minimum standard you can expect, exactly what you get will vary from apartment to apartment. We felt (no evidence) our apartment was probably an investment property, rather than occupied by owner occupiers for much of the year, as it was simply furnished etc. Still perfectly acceptable, although the bathroom was in need of upgrading. Rocha Brava room servicing is very good and the location and facilities are very good. Overall, we plan to return yet again. Giving four stars because it is simple and relaxed rather than luxurious, which suits us.
