In my opinion, Palace Estoi was simply magical. In the regal atmosphere of this historic spot, I enjoyed a delightful coffee and early dinner, but I did not stay the night.
As I walked around the palace and its beautiful grounds, I was blown away by the peaceful beauty of the mountain views that the gardens overlooked, especially at sunset. The Roman columns ruins added to the beauty of the area.
In terms of the food, I chose the chicken wrap, which came in a big serving and was absolutely wonderful. Also, do not forget the coffee—it really stands out with its deep taste and pleasant aroma. Furthermore, it is amazing that for a 5-star hotel, the prices were surprisingly affordable.
Also, the waiters were very nice and helpful, which made the whole experience even cozier. During my stay, they made me feel welcome and cared for.
Additionally, the palace's inside was a sight to view. The ceiling paintings were beautiful, and the old furniture gave the room a sense of history and grandeur.
In general, my time at Palace Estoi was better than I expected. I think you should really enjoy the beauty and peace that this secret gem has to offer, whether you are a guest or just stopping by for a meal and a look around.

The room has poor view and furniture was run down & old. Bed was not comfortable
I hate to shower in a bathtub. Risky to skid & jump over its wall. All new hotels has walk in shower.
Gym is very small with poor & few machines. Indoor pool is very small also. Outside pool is spacious if weather permits.
Common facilities are located in adjacent & connected old & classic decorated palace. The view outside is excellent since overall location is on top of a hill.
Breakfast was nice & has good variety of food.

The common areas are beautiful as it a Palace with history.
The room was large but in bad condition. They gave us a room in the ground floor, the garden from the balcony is a bit neglected
The service at the restaurant is not good, very slow service
You must have 2 or 3 pillows for pregnancy or cervical for health issues
The towels are low cost

A wonderful place! Absolutely gorgeous hotel/beautiful palace in a cute little town Estoi. The best cappuccino at the cafe/palace rooms. Relaxing atmosphere. Totally gorgeous place.

This is not a 5-star hotel. As explained to us by the front desk when we checked out, it is listed as a 5-star because it is part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection, but not truly 5-star hotel (doesn’t meet the rating standards). Rather confusing and misleading.
We came in with expectations for a 5-star hotel; our expectations were not met. Nice place, but did not meet the service, condition or amenities required for that rating. If you come here with more realistic expectations, your stay will be fine.
The restaurant was the one area we couldn’t recommend. We didn’t enjoy our meals… found the good unexciting and portions fairly small.
Follow on: I'm disappointed that the response I received closely resembles the same response given to all of the previous less than exemplary reviews. This appears to be appeasement vs. truly taking the comments to heart and either properly adjusting your star rating or your service to meet the rating you advertise.
